[00:00:17] Greetings, and thanks so much for tuning in to Dreas Point of View. I am your hostess, Drea. And in the next 10 minutes or less, I will be offering you my perspective on a topic that I feel passionate about. So please make sure that you are following the show at Dreas Point of View on IG, Facebook, and Threads. You can also follow along at Dreapoint on X.

[00:00:39] So every Friday, I like to dedicate it to a review about a movie, TV show, event, or an experience. And this time, I am going to talk about an experience of sorts, a podcast.

[00:01:09] Now, I am a podcaster, obviously, who loves listening to other podcasts because I'm an audio girl. But this is one of the few podcasts that I can actually watch, enjoy watching. Every Tuesday, we get a dose of Keke Palmer. Baby is Keke Palmer.

[00:01:37] And this, I don't even really know where to start. I am pretty much all things Keke. I have followed most of her career and seen most of the things she's been in, not all. But I adore her interviewing skills because, you know, she did have her talk show.

[00:01:57] I got to see her live a few years ago, if not last year, when she interviewed, I want to say it was Candy Burris. And it was so fun.

[00:02:18] I mean, she, you have to watch it because not only is she into the fashions, her facial expressions are top tier. It's, you have to watch it to really get the full, I don't think listening will give you the full experience of her podcast. It's so much fun. She meets all her guests where they are is what I enjoy.

[00:02:44] She, I have yet to, I don't know if she does, has she ever interviewed anyone that she doesn't really know? And she's very likable. It's like she's known these people forever. But she asks questions. We learn so much from her podcasts. She starts with, you know, the warm-up questions. She's really big in astrology.

[00:03:14] You know, she asks about their sign and just little things like that. And most of them are the same sign as she is, Virgo. I don't know anything about that stuff. So it doesn't really, none of that part really interests me. But I do like her warm-up questions. And then she, you would, she brings out a different side of these celebrities.

[00:03:41] Some of my favorites, well, Jennifer Lewis. I mean, everyone knows who that is. You have to watch that one. That was just out of control. Like that, it was, I didn't really know who was, I mean, I've never been more entertained. And they're both, their personalities are very, not explosive. I can't think of the word.

[00:04:10] They're very outgoing. They're, they can be a lot. But so just imagine the two of them together. But you always learn something from these, the stories. They make these, she makes people more relatable. She's interviewed Michelle Obama a couple of times, actually.

[00:04:39] I saw her live when she interviewed her at Essence Festival. And I saw her when she interviewed her on her podcast. And Michelle Obama had her on her podcast as well. But I'm like, we all know Michelle Obama is relatable. But just listening to them talk about fashions and how she dresses is pretty interesting too.

[00:05:02] Because it's like she dresses how you would expect them to dress. Like I said, she meets people on their level. You would expect her to be dressed up for Michelle Obama, right? Especially her latest interview with, well, not her latest by the time this comes out, Oprah Winfrey. She was dressed up, but Oprah was dressed down. It was, it was pretty cool.

[00:05:26] And she asked people what you want me to call you, which I think everyone should. And not just say their name, just in general. You know, ask me how I want my name to be pronounced. Or how, what I'd like to be called instead of calling me what you want to call me. It's just, I, yeah. And she's actually getting her star on the Walk of Fame next year.

[00:05:56] And I hope to witness that. But yes, that is just my go-to on Tuesdays to watch. And it's over an hour, which figures just like watching a hour-long TV show. But what also is interesting is that the advertisements, she does them.

[00:06:18] So it's not really cutting to be a Starbucks or, I don't know, a car rental place. She is reading the prompters for these ads. So I think that's, I think that's pretty, pretty dope.

[00:06:37] But if you are in search of an entertaining, down-to-earth, energized, like when you're feeling low, that is the podcast to watch. When you're feeling low, when you're feeling high, Baby is Kiki Palmer is a must watch. Like I said, you can't just listen. You have to watch.

[00:07:05] If you have seen her, listen to her, I would love to hear your thoughts.
