[00:00:10] What they did for Part 2, you know, what they did for Part 2, they gave us Van Damme.

[00:01:27] Van Damme and he's wearing glasses while it's still dark just because... Yeah, they gave us Van Damme the most dynamic villain we have ever gotten in all these movies, you know. The most dynamic villain, the coolest villain that we've ever gotten.

[00:01:47] And yet, he was supposed to do the first movie, but the character that he ran for didn't have much substance, so he passed on it. Yeah, it took him a while of convincing on Part 2. Yeah, yeah, he was... Stallone reports him again, you know. All the other movies had good villains, you know.

[00:02:14] Even Eric Roberts, because he played it over the top the way he does things, but, you know, Van Damme, best performance of his career, great villain. And then Mel Gibson, and now we come to this one, and yeah, it's Andy Garcia, but he didn't even seem like he wanted to be there. And you kind of see it coming a ways away. I'm sorry we're kind of spoiling it, but trust me, Gil, like, they give it away, like, just so early. It's just like, yeah, this is... You can tell, and it's just like...

[00:02:43] He knew it in the first scene. Yeah, it just... I wondered what Andy Garcia was doing. I saw the trailer, and I'm seeing Andy Garcia in it. And I was like, okay, what is he doing in the movies? He's been a reasonable part of so many ensembles before, and he just looks like it was a two-day shoot, and they were trying to squeeze all his scenes in. Because, like, when he's on the railing, like, handcuffed, he just... He's supposed to be in pain and bossing him around, and it just looks like he can't be bothered to tell the words. I'm just like, were the conditions that bad?

[00:03:11] You know, I wouldn't mind a behind-the-scenes story, but at the same time, I don't know. They probably have very closed-off security. I don't know. Nothing made sense in the movie. Explain to me this. At the end of that movie, for the people who've seen it... Where the hell is Bonnie? There's a bomb on the boat. Yeah. It's going to go off in minutes. And the bad guys know this, including Andy Garcia, but they make no attempt to leave the boat. Yeah.

[00:03:39] And Andy Garcia gives this speech about, who's going to benefit from all this? I'm the one who's going to benefit from all this. Like, no, because in three minutes, you're going to be dead. I'm glad you brought that up. See, you know it's bad if it's just dull. Like, there's zero excitement. And you're just like, okay, someone must have pissed off somebody, but they still had to get it done. I don't know. It's all boring that there's no major villain fight at the end. And all the other ones have. And the music is off. It's very lazy. It's not...

[00:04:09] That's a good segue, though. For the villains... So we got everybody. We got Eric Roberts and Stone Cold Steve Austin in part one. And Gary Daniels in a fight scene with both Statham and Jet Li. So that's as close as they get to the other B-movie guys. And then part two had Van Damme and Scott Adkins. You know, another B-movie guy working for Millennium Films. And part three had Mel Gibson. That's it. Yeah.

[00:04:38] That's all you need. That's all we need. I'm kind of... Yeah, I'm partial to Mel Gibson as one of the villains. Well, because they... I liked how they established he had a history with Ford and Stallone, and he had been left for dead. It's like, that's all I need. He's another... He... And there was clearly... Kind of like Van Damme, they're making fun of how he likes to kick people and everything. I liked how Mark Free... He's clearly... If Martin Riggs went apeshit and bought Rambo. Yeah, I just love how...

[00:05:07] You know, it's interesting because I really like the fact that they used Harrison Ford in part three. But since they had Mel Gibson in part... Since they had Mel Gibson as the bad guy, it would have been really interesting if they'd given the Harrison Ford part to Danny Glover. That would have been hysterical! Oh, yeah. How about you, Orr? Who would you say is your ultimate villain? Because Eric Roberts is hamming it up, having fun, and they mention him in the sequels, and Van Damme was doing Van Damme on steroids.

[00:05:37] And Mel Gibson was... Mel Gibson... Just post-crazyness. You know, it's just... You know what? You know what? I really liked the Eric Roberts in the first movie, you know? You know, he's a... I answer to me! Yeah, it's just like he's all... He was very calm, cool, and collected all throughout the movie. And then... The General Garza guy... The General Garza guy was pretty cool. He was basically... He's from... The guy from Dexter?

[00:06:07] Yeah, he's been on Dexter, Oz, FBI. Yeah, he's... People forget that Eric Roberts was an Oscar nominee. Right? Freaking Runaway Train and King of the Gypsies, and you're just like... I like the Eric Roberts. Van Damme was a cool villain, you know? So... He's kind of a James Bond villain, but yeah, he's doing... Mel Gibson... Mel Gibson, though, you know... With the backstory, you know, his character got...

[00:06:35] You know, he was one of the original... Right. You know what? That makes you wonder... If Mel Gibson... Wesley Snipes, Stallone... I think Schwarzenegger was on the same team also. Yeah. You know, who else would have been a part of that? I mean, we probably did have Jackie Chan. We probably... They mentioned some of their other names. One of their names is Boulder. The other name is like...

[00:07:05] Yeah, we probably did have... Yeah. Some other guy. You know, Jeff Speakman or Cynthia Rothman. They were probably on there. Brad Williamson. Yeah. We'll return after these messages.
