[00:01:23] That's a great movie. Yeah. And real genius. Yeah, great soundtrack. Great popcorn scene. Yeah. They really stuck it to him. Oh, yeah. They really got him. Yeah, when I didn't go where we wanted, where'd it go? And he's like, that's my house. Yeah. Oh, that was great.

[00:01:52] The guy that lived in the cellar. He was like one of my friends. Yeah. Loved him. And then when he got the hot chick at the end. Yeah. Everybody was like, what? Yeah. But the best is when they were playing, everybody wants to rule the world, and all the kids are getting the popcorn. Yeah. Like, they were bringing wagons and loading their wagons up with it. Yeah. It's a good movie. Oh, it's a great movie. I mean, that's one of Val Kilmer's first.

[00:02:22] Well, Top Secret, I think, is the first time I ever saw Val Kilmer. Top Secret is Val Kilmer's first movie. Oh, really? Yeah. Wasn't it? No. Oh. I didn't go that far back. I didn't remember. Yeah. I mean, that's the amazing thing. Why is that? That's the amazing thing. And we're talking about Val Kilmer because, unfortunately, he passed away this past week. Right. But it's one of those things where it was like, I mean, you talk about a dude who did so much. Yeah.

[00:02:52] I mean, I talked about it a couple years ago with Ian, and we both watched the documentary. You watched the documentary. I did. And that documentary is so good. It is. And it's so sad, and it makes you realize how human he was because he was such a – he was different on a thing. Well, he was a different person. Yeah. And people complained that he was difficult to work with, and I don't think it was that he was difficult to work with.

[00:03:18] I think it was just – he was just a purveyor of his craft. I don't know. And he took it seriously. But you watch that documentary, and you see him like real. Yeah. He doesn't seem like a dick at all. You know? No, but I don't know what it was. Because there was a moment where Val Kilmer was one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. Yeah. Fishing after heat. Yeah.

[00:03:47] I mean, he gets Batman forever. And – I mean, up until Batfleck, Kilmer's Batman was my favorite. Really? He only did one. Yeah. But – I'm sorry. I apologize. Like, I just like the way he played Batman. Like, I thought it was – he – Like, Michael Keaton? Yeah. Like, I don't –

[00:04:17] I didn't have a problem with Val Kilmer's Batman, but I don't think he was better than Keaton. I do. Like, I love Keaton. He's better than Clooney. Yeah. He's better than Keaton. Yeah. No. That was – it's my opinion. Like, I'm not saying I'm right or wrong. And I love Keaton as Batman, but I just – I like the way he played the character. I – you know. And – Is he the one that – wait.

[00:04:45] Is that the one where Two-Face and Riddler? Yeah. Okay. Because I can picture him standing there telling – not Riddler, whatever his name was. And what is his real name? Um – Harvey Dent. [00:05:11] So he's talking to Edward Digma and he's trying to tell him why he cannot fund his – Yeah. – project. Yeah. And I can see Val Kilmer stand there doing that. And yes, he does look like a good Bruce Wayne. I'm not going to doubt that, but I just – not over Michael Keaton in that era. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Maybe he's just going to get sick. Probably the best line ever in a Batman movie. It's the car, right? Chicks dig the car. Was that Val Kilmer? That was Val Kilmer, yeah. Okay.

[00:05:41] Are you sure? I'm positive because – Because, for God – Oh, no. Then Robin repeated it when he had the car race when he stole the car. Yeah. Okay. Never mind. But it was – it's what's-her-name? Tom Cruise's ex-wife. Nicole Kidman. Nicole Kidman. And she – I forgot she was even in that. Yeah. But she pulls the bat signal.

[00:06:08] And so he comes to the – and it's like, I have information about Two-Face. He's like, yeah, I already fucking knew that. And then she, like, tries to seduce him. And – Four. Yeah. And he's like – and she's like, and I know you've got a type. Should I be wearing a – Yeah. Skin-tight latex? And he – and he's – she's just like, I'd like to get to know you better. He's like, it's the car, right? Chicks dig the car. Okay, okay. Yeah. Oh, what a cheesy one.

[00:06:36] It is – it's super cheesy, but it's like – it works. It was wasted on her. Yeah, well, but it was given by Val Kilmer, so. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. And where it delivered it. Yeah. But he also, like – I mean, not – but, like, you're right. Like, he was in Heat. He was in – Hello? Tombstone. Oh, God. Don't even get me started. Yeah, I mean – Gee, Lord. Like, the dude did so – and then, like, later on, I mean, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is like a movie.

[00:07:06] If you have not seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, it's like – that's the movie that got Robert Downey Jr. to be in Iron Man. Right, right. Because Robert Downey Jr. was, like, persona non grata. Like, it was like he was done. And Shane Black took a dice roll on him because he's such a good actor. And he made Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which Val Kilmer said. And they both fucking kill it. Right.

[00:07:36] And Jon Favreau sees Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and asks Shane Black, how is Downey? Right. He's like, he's a pro. Yeah. No, there's nothing wrong with him. He did everything. Because he knows. Right. Past. And that Favreau then convinces Disney, based upon Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, to bring Big Donny Iron Man. You did mention one thing, Tombstone. Yeah.

[00:08:05] Now, when I was in Tombstone, those actors are very highly recorded in that little area. So, I wonder how that's going to up his sales in Tombstone. Well. Because they're everywhere. When you walk through Tombstone, they are everywhere. There's even people acting as the actors that played in Tombstone, not who they were playing. Right. Like, they were trying to look like them.

[00:08:33] And you're just like, Val? Yeah. Well, I know. Not Doc. Val. Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer exchanged gifts after Tombstone. Tombstone. Oh, I apologize. Sorry. That really went down the wrong side. Sorry. Oh, guys. That's terrible.

Seedy stuff. That. None of these places toast them. No they don't. So I wanted the bag. Because I want. Because I also wanted to like just get a little filled up. Like I was like. I was like okay with it. Yeah. You know. It's like yeah. I'll live up on bread today. Oh God. I'd be all gluing down with it.

For those who don't know. Like we. They have like. They have to have a. A section you can sit down and eat. Because you have to have. So many seats. So that under Pennsylvania. Blue Law. You can sell alcohol. Correct. Like if you don't have. Seating for so many people.

[00:16:05] That you can't sell alcohol. On a store. So like. There are convenience stores. Like you go into. That don't sell alcohol. But there are some that do. Because they have. A seating area. So. You know what I mean. And now she head butts me. Such a cute cat. So I'm sitting there. And I'm sitting in the seating section. Waiting for them to call my number. I thought to myself. I'm like. You know. Back in the day.

[00:16:34] This area would have been a magazine rack. Oh. Like. Yeah. They don't have this anymore. Like if you have like. The newspapers there. You have like. The magazine racks. Yeah. And you know. Maybe some comic books or something. Floated in there. But that's what would be in this section. Right. Emotive stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Like they have a little. They have a little automotive section. Like you can buy like oil and stuff. Like that's over by the cash registers. You know. They have all the other stuff.

[00:17:03] But like the magazine racks are gone. And. Yeah. It's because they don't sell. Really sell magazines anymore. You know. And I was just thinking about it. I was like. Like younger generations don't know. The joy and the anxiety. Of like. My favorite artist is on the cover of. Yeah. Rolling Stone magazine. I got to make sure I pick up this issue. So I have. Have that. Or.

[00:17:33] You know. They're on the. GQ. Or whatever. Spin. Or spin. Or whatever it was. And then you buy like two copies. Because you had to have one to keep. And one to cut up. Yeah. Because you were hanging that cover on your wall. You were making closets and shit. Yeah. And. That's like that. That thing of like. I was thinking about it. I'm like. Man like. Younger generations don't experience that. No. Not at all.

Teen beat and stuff. Yeah. That's what I was going to say. Yeah. I probably bought way more. And I also got. Dabbled in and did like skating. Skateboarding and shit. Like. And surfing when I lived in Florida. So I was buying all that shit. Yeah. Like. Like with God. Like with me. Like it would be like.

I don't want to like spend like three dollars for a bottle of water. Because that's what you're spending though. My pain. Yeah. But that's what. That is what you're spending. I know. And it's like. They seem kind of. Dickish. I don't know. All the drinks are good. Yeah. So like. I have a hard time. Like giving like. The Paul brothers my money. But they have really good flavors.

[00:27:00] Like I'm very limited in like what I'm. Me too. Because if you think about what I drink. Yeah. White Claw. Or like during the day. Obviously I can't be drinking all day long. I'll drink water. Or I do the pure leaf teas. But I do the zero sugar. Sweet tea. Or the unsweetened lemon. Because I love the unsweetened lemon. Or just unsweetened. Yeah. And that shit is expensive. Yeah.

[00:27:28] So I have to buy like the big jugs. And keep refilling my bottle. Because it's cheaper to do it that way. But. I like the flavor of it. Because you can. It tastes like tea. Yeah. It's not like Gallagher's and Schneider's. Right. It actually tastes like I brewed the tea myself. Right. Where that other shit. To me it tastes like plastic. I can't drink it anymore. Yeah. Even the unsweetened stuff. Like. I'm pretty limited that way. I was sitting there. And I was thinking to myself like. You know. Man.

[00:27:56] I would just kill for like a can of Hawaiian punch. They don't sell Hawaiian punch? No. At least not at Sheetz. Is that not a thing anymore? Not really. No. I don't know. Is that going with like. Like you can buy. Cherokee red. You can buy Hawaiian punch. Like you. It's like in a gallon jug. Like if you go to like Walmart or Giant Eagle or someplace like that. You can buy like a gallon jug of Hawaiian punch. Or it has like that plastic candle on top. Yeah.

[00:28:24] And it comes in multiple flavors other than just fruit punch. Yeah. Oh. The blue. Yeah. The blue. There's a couple other flavors. I guess I can add a couple. I can see it now. Yeah. I think so. Yeah. They have multiple flavors. But. Like there. There is something about like. Like. Getting a can. Of Hawaiian punch. Okay. Like even like. Just like a pop can. Uh huh. Like. Like. You know. Old school pop can. Like cracking that open. And like firing down some Hawaiian punch from a can.

[00:28:54] It just hits different. And then. I mean. The old school. Like. You had like to take the can opener. To crack open. Like a triangle on each side. So it. Like. That's the good shit right there. I've never drank any of that in my life. No. Your parents didn't love you. You're 50% right. I mean.

[00:29:25] That was like a treat. That was full of sugar. It was like all of a sudden. Like yeah. I'm sorry. We had enough sugar in our life. My father was not going to pile more sugar onto it. My parents were all of a sudden like. Hey. We got a can of Hawaiian punch. And kids once saw it. Fuck yeah. Yeah. You're the pal up on top of it. Yeah. It's fine. No. But I used to give it to the kids. Because they. You know. When they were little. They liked Hawaiian punch. I think you could get it with wicker or something at one point. Probably. Yeah. That and juicy juice.

I was collecting all the old stuff. Like the first stuff that he was coming out with. Yeah. And it wasn't all that bad. You know what I mean? Like boiler room and all that. He was not that bad in them. Like what. That ego. Got so far into his fucking head. It ruined his fucking goddamn acting career.

[01:38:30] I believe that's what happened to Vin Diesel. Well he got power. Yeah. Like. He is single handedly kept the Thrust and the Furious franchise alive. Well that's only because. His counterpart can't. The person that probably would have kept it alive. Because he was in movies that Vin wasn't in. He was in one movie Vin wasn't in. It didn't matter. I believe. That if he was still alive. He would have been the one that was pushing us.

[01:39:00] No. I don't know. That's all Vin. Vin had that power well before he passed away. Either way. The ego ruined his acting. I firmly believe that. That's one person that where that ego went to his head. That you thought you were better than God. You aren't. I tapped out. Like. I never thought he was a good actor. But after watching Babylon AD. I was like. Yo. He is a bad actor. Yeah. I don't blame him for that.
