[00:00:18] Find out more at podbreed.com Since COVID, it seems like morale is very low in many workplaces. Unless they're working remotely. I came across a graph of the states where employees were the happiest and thought that I would try and look into it. See if you agree.

[00:01:05] Welcome to Dreas Point of View. I am your host, Andrea. And for the next 10 minutes or less, I would like to talk to you about a topic that I feel passionate about.

[00:01:14] I would love to invite you to follow me at Dreas Point of View on IG, Facebook, Pinterest and threads. You can also follow the show at Dreas Point on X and Spill. So I will start with the 10 happiest places where employees are the happiest.

[00:01:36] Now, I didn't get much information as to why for a lot of these. I just got the list. So if you live in any of these places, maybe you can tell me why you think it is.

[00:01:49] According to entrepreneur.com, Alaska is known as the happiest place to work. One of the factors is because they have a short average work week. Now that would make anyone happy, right? I'm quite sure most people would like a four-day work week. I don't know.

[00:02:09] I've only been to Alaska a few times. I guess I could see it. I mean, I guess I could see it. I guess. It really depends on what you like. I know it was kind of weather-wise. It wasn't my thing. But good for Alaska.

[00:02:32] Rhode Island came in second with having a low injury rate. North Dakota was next. Colorado was fourth on the list. Minnesota was fifth on the list. Nebraska, Maine, Ohio, Arizona, and then Indiana came in tenth. Okay, so there's a happiest list. But with happy, you have unhappy.

[00:03:02] So the unhappy top ten. Georgia came in tenth. Georgia came in first for being unhappy. Having frequent in there often through the years, I can definitely agree with that finding, especially in the food industry. It just seems like people aren't really happy giving great service anymore there.

[00:03:24] And a lot of the posts I've been reading have been supporting that. So yeah, that one I can agree with. Texas, where so many people want to move, comes in at number two. The third on the list is Florida. I don't know.

[00:03:41] I don't know about that when I like my Florida people to speak up on that. South Carolina is fourth. New York comes in at number five. Alabama comes in after that. Then there's Pennsylvania. And then Virginia. New Jersey is number nine,

[00:04:01] and the tenth on the list is New Mexico. If you live in any of these states, where does your state fall? I would love to hear. Is it on the right list? Let me know at Dray's point of view at yahoo.com. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

[00:04:18] My positive news story comes from Atlanta. Nikki Crawford is partnering with some Georgia Tech students, Barbers, and other organizations to turn a school bus into a mobile laundry for the homeless. Behind Grady Hospital, there is a three-stall trailer that helps 50 people each week. It has sinks, toilets, showers,

[00:04:41] and he also provides toiletries and undergarments. Crawford told the news station, when you actually sit down and talk to them, it's just a family member. A family member who had a rough time. So we can all do something. Maybe not this,

[00:05:01] but we can all do something to help the unhoused in the Atlanta area. I agree with Crawford. I think we can all do something to help the homeless in any area because it seems like it's getting worse everywhere you go.

[00:05:12] Crawford has retired and found it flowing with blessings, which is a nonprofit organization. What a blessing it is to be a blessing. Feel free to leave a review about this episode at thedrayaspointofview.com. As always, I thank you for listening. This has been Dray's Point of View.
