[00:05:06] And here's what is being said is that Epe Mazahara I think is something like that as his

[00:05:16] was Shohei's interpreter slash Best Buddy slash personal assistant slash everything

[00:05:26] that he needed for English, Epe was there right?

[00:05:31] So it's like they're best buddies.

[00:05:35] And somewhere along the line, Epe started gambling on what he says is soccer and racked

[00:05:47] up 4 and a half million dollars worth of debt.

[00:05:51] Holy crap.

[00:05:54] And so when you look at it like that you say how in the world would a bookkeeper allow

[00:06:03] an interpreter to have 4 million dollars worth of debt or 4 million dollars with a credit

[00:06:09] right?

[00:06:10] Because it's illegal.

[00:06:11] It's illegal to gamble in California.

[00:06:15] So you have to go through an illegal bookie and the bookie said, oh I got Shohei's, you

[00:06:22] know, his interpreter here.

[00:06:24] So I am going to use that lean into it and say hey, I have Shohei's, Shohei is part of

[00:06:32] my group of whatever.

[00:06:35] And so it gives him cloud this bookie.

[00:06:38] So they really leaned into each other, the bookie and the interpreter.

[00:06:48] So they go, they fly to Korea the night, the first night they're in Korea.

[00:06:54] Well the opening day, Dodgers, Padres was last whatever Wednesday I think.

[00:07:03] So last Wednesday after the game, Epe said there's going to be a story that comes out.

[00:07:10] It's about me and gambling.

[00:07:15] So this is the first that Shohei, and this is what Shohei said in his press conference

[00:07:22] yesterday or the day before Monday.

[00:07:26] He said he had no idea he's blindsided by this.

[00:07:30] And ultimately he said that that Epe was stealing from him and that he never gambled on sports

[00:07:38] ever.

[00:07:40] Which I tend to believe Shohei because if you know anything about Shohei, he's like

[00:07:44] the most outstanding gentlemanly guy you could ever imagine.

[00:07:49] Right?

[00:07:50] And this Epe guy, it's like fraud after a lie after all this dirt is coming out on this

[00:07:58] Epe did.

[00:07:59] So I tend to believe Shohei over the interpreter.

[00:08:07] So how this guy can rack up $4 million in debt is insane.

[00:08:15] It's insane, but listen, when you're the interpreter right, everything goes through Epe.

[00:08:22] So let's say you have a press conference or you want to get on a podcast or whatever

[00:09:35] This guy could literally take control of all of Shohei's finances.

[00:09:46] So when it came out that this Epe guy was stealing from Shohei, this is how he was doing
