[00:00:22] Podcast, and welcome to the episode 586 of the Pittsburgh Nerd Podcast.
[00:00:27] I'm Sean.
[00:00:29] I'm Nancy.
[00:00:30] And this is the only podcast that says, A beautiful woman with alabaster skin and the
[00:00:36] eyes of a dove.
[00:00:38] She travels by night, only by night.
[00:00:42] Her son is the moon.
[00:00:44] And her name is Isabel.
[00:00:48] Find her and you find the wolf.
[00:00:50] The wolf I want.
[00:00:52] The wolf who loves her.
[00:00:58] Whoa.
[00:00:59] Yeah.
[00:00:59] That's deep.
[00:01:00] It is deep.
[00:01:01] It's from Lady Hawk.
[00:01:04] Um.
[00:01:06] And Holly, like we were talking about the movies of Rudger Hauer last week and why he was
[00:01:11] a bigger star.
[00:01:12] Right.
[00:01:13] But like, and Lady Hawk is to me like one of those really underappreciated movies by the
[00:01:21] general mass.
[00:01:22] I think there is a group of people who love that movie.
[00:01:25] It is a cult favorite probably.
[00:01:27] But that movie, it has this very odd thing of like magic existing in a certain way.
[00:01:38] Uh-huh.
[00:01:39] But yet it's like a very real feeling film.
[00:01:41] Wow.
[00:01:44] I have never seen it.
[00:01:45] You've never seen Lady Hawk?
[00:01:46] Yeah.
[00:01:46] Is that why you were looking at me if I'm not agreeing with you?
[00:01:50] Yeah, because I'm shocked you've never seen it.
[00:01:53] I've never seen Lady Hawk.
[00:01:54] We'll have to watch it sometime.
[00:01:55] Okay.
[00:01:56] I'm sorry.
[00:01:56] Not just because that's Rudger Hauer.
[00:01:58] Right.
[00:01:58] I know you're not a huge Michelle Pfeiffer fan.
[00:02:00] No.
[00:02:01] But it does have.
[00:02:02] I don't mind her.
[00:02:03] Right.
[00:02:03] But it does also have Matthew Broderick.
[00:02:08] Oh.
[00:02:08] Yes.
[00:02:09] And then older day, younger day.
[00:02:11] Yeah, it's a much younger Matthew Broderick, yes.
[00:02:14] I mean to say older, olden.
[00:02:16] Ah, when he was younger.
[00:02:19] Yeah, the whole concept of the movie is Rudger, Matthew Broderick plays a thief who escapes
[00:02:26] from this jail in this city and like, and it's like, you know, medieval times.
[00:02:34] Okay.
[00:02:35] Okay.
[00:02:36] And he's found by Rudger Hauer who was looking for him.
[00:02:43] And Rudger Hauer wants him to help him get back into the city so he can kill Bishop.
[00:02:52] Oh, that sounds good.
[00:02:55] Right.
[00:02:56] And so like, and Rudger Hauer is like this badass knight.
[00:03:00] He's got, you know, big, big sword.
[00:03:02] I mean, he's Rudger Hauer.
[00:03:03] Right.
[00:03:04] You know, and you're like, shit, this guy's a badass, but he disappears at night.
[00:03:08] Oh.
[00:03:09] And then Michelle Pfeiffer shows up.
[00:03:11] Oh.
[00:03:13] And like what's the connection?
[00:03:15] What's going on?
[00:03:15] Right.
[00:03:16] It's a fantastic movie.
[00:03:19] I was thinking that I missed something on why she would be, but no, I didn't.
[00:03:23] No, like it's a fantastic movie that like, like on the surface if you just look at
[00:03:32] it, you're like, oh, okay.
[00:03:33] Yeah.
[00:03:33] This is just like a medieval movie.
[00:03:36] There's nothing but, you know, and like the Bishop, I mean, I think he's a Christian
[00:03:43] Bishop.
[00:03:43] You know, yeah, like, I mean, it's, it's, it's very weird how it's kind of like
[00:03:50] magic exists, but in a very, very odd way.
[00:03:54] Right.
[00:03:54] Like it's a fantastic movie that's like, it is set in medieval times though.
[00:04:00] Yeah.
[00:04:01] Okay.
[00:04:01] Yeah.
[00:04:02] Like, I mean, you know, he, I was in clear nights and swords and armor and all that good stuff.
[00:04:08] Yeah.
[00:04:11] That's crazy that I've never seen it.
[00:04:14] It is.
[00:04:15] Because I mean, it's just, it's that, and then like the soundtrack is odd because
[00:04:19] it's like all synthesizer.
[00:04:21] Oh, wow.
[00:04:23] But it's cool because like, I guess part of what makes it feel very 80s is like
[00:04:28] this, this very odd soundtrack of like it's all synthesizer.
[00:04:32] Like you would expect like, well, this is going to be an orchestra.
[00:04:34] No, it's, it's synth, you know.
[00:04:40] Well, give me something to compare it to.
[00:04:44] Um, that I, that you know, I've seen obviously if you can't, I really can't.
[00:04:50] Okay.
[00:04:51] Like it's, it's unique in its story.
[00:04:56] I've been like, oh, that's bullshit.
[00:04:58] But I think it, like it is.
[00:05:00] Like it's a, it's a unique story and the way it's told is unique.
[00:05:08] And it's really well done.
[00:05:11] Like, I remember going, I saw in a theater.
[00:05:14] Really?
[00:05:14] Yeah.
[00:05:14] I think it was one of those movies.
[00:05:17] My aunt, Johnny took me and Ian to go see.
[00:05:19] Gotcha.
[00:05:20] And like, I remember coming out of it like, you know, wow, that was amazing.
[00:05:23] You know, yeah.
[00:05:24] But I've also felt the same way.
[00:05:26] I remember when I went to go see legend with the, with Tom Cruise and direct way
[00:05:33] really Scott and the unicorns and everything else.
[00:05:36] And I came out of that movie going, fuck, I was amazing.
[00:05:38] All my friends like, that was so fucking stupid.
[00:05:41] Did we watch the same movie?
[00:05:44] Doubling your friends.
[00:05:46] Did you see darkness?
[00:05:47] Did you see too great?
[00:05:50] That's a ward wedding.
[00:05:51] They weren't paying attention.
[00:05:53] No, they were like, no.
[00:05:55] Like they did.
[00:05:56] It was, it was on.
[00:05:57] I was like, they saw a completely different movie for me because I walked out.
[00:05:59] I go, holy shit.
[00:06:01] That was amazing.
[00:06:02] They were like, you know, that was dumb.
[00:06:04] That was dumb.
[00:06:06] He said dumb.
[00:06:07] I am sorry.
[00:06:09] I want to see that again.
[00:06:13] But I haven't watched the clock in forever and I like to sit down and watch it again.
[00:06:17] I have one DVD.
[00:06:18] Really?
[00:06:19] Yeah.
[00:06:22] I don't know if I remember the cover of that, but you know, you'll have to show me.
[00:06:25] Yeah.
[00:06:27] Because that was what I was doing like yesterday.
[00:06:29] I was kind of like, because with Ian and Ian, Ian, we had scheduling difficulties this week.
[00:06:38] But with Ian, like it was, we've been recording like early.
[00:06:43] So like I was like last night, I was thinking about like, okay, well, I need a quote for the, for the show.
[00:06:48] And I was kind of like looking over at my, my DVDs.
[00:06:54] Like what movie haven't I quoted or haven't I quoted in a while?
[00:06:57] Or, you know, what's something and I saw Lady Hawk amongst them.
[00:07:03] Which one was it?
[00:07:04] You have never quoted or you haven't?
[00:07:06] I've never quoted.
[00:07:06] I've never quoted Lady Hawk.
[00:07:08] Okay.
[00:07:09] So I didn't know which way you were going to go with that.
[00:07:11] Yeah.
[00:07:13] Well, there you go for you Lady Hawk fans.
[00:07:17] Yeah.
[00:07:17] I'm sure there are people out there like you're an idiot.
[00:07:21] I'm an idiot.
[00:07:22] Yeah.
[00:07:23] That ain't none of your business.
[00:07:25] What can I say?
[00:07:26] I love the mood, you know, I watched it.
[00:07:29] It's just like, I'll tell you now, I mean, I love Excalibur.
[00:07:34] There are people who will tell you like that is a horrible movie.
[00:07:38] But like to me, like it's fantastic.
[00:07:41] Like it's so over the top and like the shining armor and like the lens flare coming off of it.
[00:07:52] And I've seen this.
[00:07:55] I don't know if you've ever seen Excalibur or not, probably not.
[00:08:00] There are lots of movies people think that you like.
[00:08:03] Like that is one that is a bit more specific, but it was like this rated R version of the story of King Arthur and like it is.
[00:08:15] Who's that?
[00:08:19] A young naked Helen Miriam.
[00:08:22] Oh, gosh.
[00:08:25] Yes.
[00:08:27] Wow.
[00:08:29] Again, this is like, I think Patrick Stewart said it.
[00:08:32] Oh really?
[00:08:32] Yeah, a young Liam Neeson's in it.
[00:08:35] Oh, shit.
[00:08:35] I mean, let me look it up.
[00:08:36] It was like one of those things where it's like quite a few people there.
[00:08:42] Yeah, it's like this massive British cast that you're just like at the time, like for like 1982, you're like, Holy shit, everybody's in this movie.
[00:08:52] You know, Helen Miriam plays Morgana.
[00:09:06] Nigel Terry plays King Arthur.
[00:09:10] Nigel.
[00:09:12] Gabriel Byrne is in it.
[00:09:13] What?
[00:09:16] Yeah, I think he plays Arthur's bastard son.
[00:09:22] Is this an older movie?
[00:09:24] It's like 1982, I think.
[00:09:26] Oh, you get Liam Neeson's in it.
[00:09:28] He plays Sir Gwynne, Patrick Stewart's in it.
[00:09:35] He plays Leon de Grans.
[00:09:42] Yeah, he was only a lot of like young British actors in this and 1981 is when this came out.
[00:09:51] Wow.
[00:09:53] That's far longer ago.
[00:09:55] But it has, I would love to have this as a poster, like a framed poster like in our living room.
[00:10:06] Because it tells the tale of Arthur and it starts from the beginning.
[00:10:12] So he pulls the sword from the stone and everything.
[00:10:16] At one point, Arthur strikes a killing blow that he, I guess, lands a lot.
[00:10:23] I think it's when he first meets Lancelot and he throws Excalibur into the lake.
[00:10:29] And the sword is returned to him by the lady in the lake under the condition that once he dies, he has to get the sword back.
[00:10:36] Or the lady of the lake.
[00:10:37] He has to return the sword to the lake because the sword is what will unite the British Empire.
[00:10:42] Gotcha.
[00:10:44] So at the end of the movie, Arthur's dying and he gives the sword to one of the knights.
[00:10:49] He's like, you have to take this to this lake and you have to throw it into the lake.
[00:10:53] It has to be done.
[00:10:55] Right.
[00:10:56] And then I guess, okay, it will be done.
[00:10:58] And he does to the lake and he stands up and the sword is like, this is fucking Excalibur.
[00:11:02] This is King Arthur's sword.
[00:11:03] I can't just throw it in a lake.
[00:11:05] So he hides it and he goes back.
[00:11:07] And he does Arthur.
[00:11:08] It's been done.
[00:11:09] And Arthur's like, what happened?
[00:11:11] He's like, what do you mean?
[00:11:12] It's like, when you threw the sword in the lake, what happened?
[00:11:14] He's like, it hit the water.
[00:11:15] There was a splash and it sunk to the bottoms and you didn't throw in the lake.
[00:11:19] You have to throw it in the lake.
[00:11:22] So the guy goes, the light goes back and he throws the sword and it's like this red sun in the background and the water is perfectly still.
[00:11:34] And this hand just comes out of the water and grabs Excalibur by the hilt and twists it.
[00:11:41] So it's pointing straight up and it's just like the red sun, this arm covered in like sea weed or Excalibur.
[00:11:50] And it's like there for just a second and then it comes straight down.
[00:11:54] And it is like this beautiful shot.
[00:11:57] To me, one of the greatest shots in movie history.
[00:12:01] And just to have that moment as a poster of the lady in the lake holding Excalibur straight up with that red sun behind it.
[00:12:09] I've seen that.
[00:12:11] Yeah, it's badass.
[00:12:12] Wow.
[00:12:12] I think I might have watched that.
[00:12:17] Yeah.
[00:12:19] That's all moving.
[00:12:20] I also have that on DVD.
[00:12:23] I don't doubt that.
[00:12:24] Yeah.
[00:12:25] I'm not doubting that at all.
[00:12:26] But that was one of the rare times like, like I'm 10.
[00:12:31] Like when it comes out on HBO.
[00:12:33] Oh wow.
[00:12:34] And my dad was like, I know it's rated R.
[00:12:37] There's going to be some nudity.
[00:12:38] Oh, that's why it's rated R back then.
[00:12:41] There's some nudity and there's a little hanky-panky.
[00:12:45] A little hanky-panky.
[00:12:47] A little hanky-panky take it but you have to watch this.
[00:12:50] You have to watch this.
[00:12:51] Yeah.
[00:12:51] This is a must watch for you, my son.
[00:12:53] You don't let this slip away.
[00:12:55] Yeah.
[00:12:55] And I'm like, holy shit this is amazing.
[00:12:58] Thanks dad.
[00:12:59] Yeah.
[00:12:59] I love you.
[00:13:01] I won't tell mom.
[00:13:02] I love boobs.
[00:13:03] I love boobs.
[00:13:06] So yeah.
[00:13:07] Yeah, so it's.
[00:13:10] Yeah.
[00:13:11] Wow.
[00:13:12] Yeah.
[00:13:14] How long has it been since you've seen that one?
[00:13:17] Not that long.
[00:13:18] I want to say maybe five years.
[00:13:19] Okay.
[00:13:19] It's not as long as...
[00:13:21] Lady Hawk is, I probably have only, I probably haven't watched Lady Hawk 10 years.
[00:13:28] Or more.
[00:13:29] What is it with the lady in the lakes and the waters?
[00:13:33] That's all mythology.
[00:13:35] Like I mean, it was all playing off of the Arthur mythology and you know, it's so whatever
[00:13:45] French guy actually wrote the hit, the legend of King Arthur.
[00:13:49] Oh.
[00:13:50] It was a French dude?
[00:13:54] Supposedly.
[00:13:57] Don't give a...
[00:13:58] I'm not going to know it all off hand, but like somebody traced like it was like this French
[00:14:07] prisoner who wrote the story of King Arthur.
[00:14:12] Like, I mean, Brits have been trying for years.
[00:14:15] Like, now the French guy apparently he said that this was based partially off of a true
[00:14:21] story.
[00:14:21] So King Arthur very well may have been real.
[00:14:24] The first King of England and stuff like that, the first United of England.
[00:14:31] But like, I mean, they people have been trying to trace their lineage back to King
[00:14:37] Arthur forever.
[00:14:39] Right.
[00:14:39] You know, and it's like one of those things that like, you know, is it when the...
[00:14:46] Thank you.
[00:14:47] When the legend beats reality, print the legend.
[00:14:50] Right.
[00:14:50] You know, that's kind of what they've done over the years is.
[00:14:53] Wow.
[00:14:55] Huh.
[00:14:56] Maybe I'll put that on my...
[00:14:58] Watch.
[00:15:00] You should have.
[00:15:01] The other two move...
[00:15:03] Excalibur not so much because it's very niche.
[00:15:06] You have a problem with British stuff and it's very British.
[00:15:10] Because everybody's like speaking British English the entire way.
[00:15:14] Like, I know you have to find that rough.
[00:15:17] Yeah.
[00:15:17] Like, but um...
[00:15:19] Excuse me.
[00:15:20] Yeah, I have issues with that.
[00:15:22] I don't know why.
[00:15:24] But it's a really good movie.
[00:15:25] Okay.
[00:15:27] Maybe.
[00:15:28] Yeah.
[00:15:30] Maybe.
[00:15:31] Yeah, maybe.
[00:15:32] I think if you watch it, you can get into it, but it may be something you may actually
[00:15:36] have to watch subtitled believe it or not.
[00:15:37] Oh really?
[00:15:38] Oh.
[00:15:38] Just because of like the British.
[00:15:40] Right.
[00:15:40] You know, because I think I have to do that sometimes with like, yeah, like
[00:15:45] Doctor Who.
[00:15:46] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:15:48] Because sometimes he gets so British like what the fuck did they just say?
[00:15:51] Yeah, I don't understand that.
[00:15:52] Can we go to translation?
[00:15:53] Yeah, I need it.
[00:15:54] Okay, let me reread that.
[00:15:56] Let me just turn on the closed caption and read this.
[00:15:59] Great.
[00:16:00] I don't get what he said.
[00:16:02] That was way too British.
[00:16:04] Way too British.
[00:16:06] Too British for me.
[00:16:09] So, so I get that like to an extent like, but I don't let it get in the way because
[00:16:15] like there have been a lot of British stuff I've really, really liked like Sherlock.
[00:16:20] Great.
[00:16:22] That BBC did a years ago they did a Robin Hood TV show.
[00:16:26] I liked a lot.
[00:16:28] Oh yeah?
[00:16:28] Yeah, I remember when we like, I think I watched that when we were laid off and
[00:16:35] it was like one of those things that when we first got streaming Netflix, like I think
[00:16:47] I was watching Netflix in the living room off of the Xbox 360.
[00:16:55] Wow.
[00:16:55] And you were watching it.
[00:16:58] Off the Wii.
[00:16:58] Off the Wii.
[00:16:59] With the disc.
[00:17:00] With the disc.
[00:17:01] Yeah.
[00:17:02] Like you had to put a, run a disc to get Netflix on the Wii.
[00:17:06] I remember that.
[00:17:08] Craziest thing.
[00:17:09] What's the craziest thing?
[00:17:10] But um, but yeah, I think one of the things that we first got laid off.
[00:17:15] I was like, Robin Hood looks interesting.
[00:17:18] Let me give him a try.
[00:17:19] Uh huh.
[00:17:21] It was like a really good show.
[00:17:22] Wow.
[00:17:23] Yeah.
[00:17:24] That was it.
[00:17:25] That's a while ago though.
[00:17:26] It was, yeah.
[00:17:29] Hmm.
[00:17:31] And of course, like Doctor Who.
[00:17:32] Like I liked Doctor Who a lot and Monty Python and.
[00:17:35] I can't watch TV with subtitles.
[00:17:38] There's just not, I can't.
[00:17:39] I know you can't.
[00:17:40] I know it's a struggle.
[00:17:41] Like so, I mean when we went to go see Godzilla minus one, that was a
[00:17:44] struggle.
[00:17:44] You were like making a massive sacrifice.
[00:17:47] But that, I know, but that had.
[00:17:51] Short.
[00:17:54] Dialogue.
[00:17:55] It was just like it didn't overwhelm what I was watching.
[00:17:58] Right.
[00:17:59] Because it wasn't constant.
[00:18:01] Right.
[00:18:02] I mean.
[00:18:04] Godzilla's on the screen list of time.
[00:18:06] Yeah.
[00:18:06] When Godzilla's on the screen, I said subtitles.
[00:18:08] Yeah.
[00:18:09] Except for the roar.
[00:18:10] Yeah.
[00:18:10] And they're not doing that.
[00:18:11] They're just, yeah.
[00:18:12] So that wasn't actually too bad.
[00:18:15] And I think it was also because of the size of the screen.
[00:18:17] Right.
[00:18:18] I wasn't missing anything anyways.
[00:18:20] But like when you're watching it on your 60 or 70 inch or whatever
[00:18:24] had home.
[00:18:30] It's very distracting because it's right around the bottom of the screen.
[00:18:33] You know what I mean?
[00:18:34] I know it's like that too when you're in a theater but you've got a bigger screen.
[00:18:36] Darby, no.
[00:18:38] He's going to jump up on the stove.
[00:18:39] Sorry.
[00:18:41] Yeah.
[00:18:42] So.
[00:18:45] So, how are you?
[00:18:46] How have you been?
[00:18:47] Oh, I'm great.
[00:18:49] Yeah.
[00:18:50] I just almost lost half a thumb.
[00:18:52] I did.
[00:18:53] I did a self mutilation.
[00:18:55] Yeah.
[00:18:56] That's what somebody said to me today.
[00:18:58] Like, what are you self mutilating back here?
[00:18:59] And I'm like, it was an accident.
[00:19:02] I was at work.
[00:19:03] Not a cutter.
[00:19:04] Yeah.
[00:19:05] Not a cutter.
[00:19:05] No, there was a reason I had a knife in my hand.
[00:19:07] It wasn't to do that.
[00:19:09] No.
[00:19:10] I stitched me up.
[00:19:11] I'm good.
[00:19:12] Yeah.
[00:19:12] Hopefully not going one.
[00:19:15] Not going one.
[00:19:15] Day three is still okay.
[00:19:17] Yeah.
[00:19:18] The pain isn't there.
[00:19:20] It's the sensations.
[00:19:22] Yeah.
[00:19:23] That's what's getting me and whenever I bang off at something.
[00:19:26] Yeah.
[00:19:26] And then there's pain.
[00:19:27] Right.
[00:19:28] Takes well for that pain to subside.
[00:19:30] Right.
[00:19:31] It's just very sensitive as well.
[00:19:34] And that is good.
[00:19:35] I went back to work.
[00:19:36] Yeah.
[00:19:37] I'm gonna go back to work.
[00:19:38] Yeah.
[00:19:39] He was like, no, I think you, I'm going back to work.
[00:19:42] Even my boss was like, you need to go home.
[00:19:44] I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna have firing.
[00:19:46] It's to get.
[00:19:47] Yeah.
[00:19:49] Ended up being your almost another error.
[00:19:51] That's gonna clean up all my blood.
[00:19:52] Yeah.
[00:19:53] You know, amazingly enough, I caught it so quickly.
[00:19:57] There wasn't no blood anywhere.
[00:19:59] Yeah.
[00:20:00] Not one.
[00:20:02] The person that came in that runs the kitchen and came in.
[00:20:05] Yeah.
[00:20:05] So I could be taken to get stitches.
[00:20:08] Yeah.
[00:20:08] She could and she's good.
[00:20:11] Yeah.
[00:20:11] She sees everything.
[00:20:13] Yeah.
[00:20:14] Not one drop of blood did she find.
[00:20:16] Wow.
[00:20:18] Yep.
[00:20:20] She said not even on the knife.
[00:20:22] Yeah.
[00:20:23] She says that's how quick you did that.
[00:20:25] Wow.
[00:20:26] Yeah.
[00:20:27] I'm glad I stopped before I went through.
[00:20:30] That was my fear is I went so far that they couldn't keep.
[00:20:35] Right.
[00:20:36] And then I didn't know how far down my thumb it was because I never looked at it.
[00:20:41] Right.
[00:20:41] But the reaction I was getting from the people who were looking at it, I thought it was gone.
[00:20:46] Yeah.
[00:20:47] I was like, oh my God, I feel like, but it wasn't painful as long as I held that
[00:20:51] towel around it wasn't painful.
[00:20:54] It was just like weird because I could feel the blood flowing out of it.
[00:20:58] Yeah.
[00:21:00] I want to say gushing, but it slowed after a while.
[00:21:04] So it was weird.
[00:21:05] It was just a weird experience for me because I would expect something like that to be so
[00:21:09] painful.
[00:21:11] The really, really bad pain came when he was sticking my finger with that numbing shit.
[00:21:15] Yeah.
[00:21:16] And he had to do it twice because oh, I should have did more the first time because when
[00:21:20] he went down my thumb a little and he stuck, I screamed.
[00:21:22] I was like, wow.
[00:21:23] He's like, oh, I guess I didn't give you enough.
[00:21:25] I didn't think so.
[00:21:26] And I'm like, dude, so he had to stick me again.
[00:21:28] That was painful.
[00:21:29] Yeah.
[00:21:31] Not to take him off the nail or anything like that.
[00:21:33] Like just that needle, man.
[00:21:36] Yeah.
[00:21:37] They love them needles.
[00:21:39] I hate it.
[00:21:40] I mean, I've only gotten stitches twice in my life.
[00:21:44] Oh, you're lucky.
[00:21:45] And one time I'm too small to remember.
[00:21:48] You're lucky.
[00:21:49] Yeah.
[00:21:50] But the one time I do remember was on my lip.
[00:21:54] Oh my gosh.
[00:21:55] Like, like right, like just to the left of center.
[00:22:01] I'm going to say football injury.
[00:22:02] No.
[00:22:03] Oh.
[00:22:03] Stupid injury.
[00:22:05] As is.
[00:22:07] I was at my parents house and I didn't have my socks on all the way.
[00:22:14] Oh, shit.
[00:22:15] And I tripped over my sock like and I fell and I caught my like I was trying
[00:22:23] to catch I caught myself but not enough.
[00:22:26] And I hit my, my, my lip right off the edge of the counter.
[00:22:29] Oh my gosh.
[00:22:30] Like my bedroom like just so you can get like an idea.
[00:22:34] My bedroom was the back room my dad used.
[00:22:38] So I came out of there and I caught it right on that.
[00:22:42] That counter right next to the refrigerator.
[00:22:44] Right there.
[00:22:45] Right there.
[00:22:46] Oh, wow.
[00:22:47] And it split open pretty, pretty good.
[00:22:51] Yeah.
[00:22:53] I held it together.
[00:22:55] I thought, this isn't that bad.
[00:22:58] I think I'm okay.
[00:22:59] I look at myself in the mirror and I let it go and it just like,
[00:23:01] Oh my God.
[00:23:03] I'm like, oh yeah, I need to get that taken care of.
[00:23:06] What were you?
[00:23:07] I was.
[00:23:10] I'm sorry.
[00:23:11] The pain 2627.
[00:23:13] I was just like, can you feel that I'm sorry.
[00:23:15] I'm like, there's like 2000.
[00:23:16] We're going to start talking about this shit.
[00:23:18] So the thing I remember.
[00:23:19] So I, at the time, I just had a mustache.
[00:23:23] We're going to need a part we weren't allowed to have anything other than a
[00:23:26] mustache.
[00:23:27] Okay.
[00:23:28] But I just had the mustache and I get so like, you know,
[00:23:33] I drove myself to the hospital holding my thing together,
[00:23:38] my lip together, my lip.
[00:23:40] And I get to the hospital and you know,
[00:23:43] I go to the emergency room and the woman's like,
[00:23:46] it was like a Saturday night at eight o'clock, you know,
[00:23:49] and the woman's like, and what's your problem?
[00:23:52] I just like, what does it, uh, that.
[00:23:55] And anyway, I love that.
[00:23:56] And she's like, oh okay, yeah, you need to be seen.
[00:23:59] Oh my God.
[00:24:01] Thanks.
[00:24:01] What's your problem?
[00:24:02] You can tell she already was having a shitty day.
[00:24:05] It was Saturday night.
[00:24:06] Like, but it took so long to be seen.
[00:24:10] Like in any of the game, we'll give you a cold compress for that.
[00:24:12] Good.
[00:24:13] Like I'm sitting in the waiting room.
[00:24:16] I sat there for like an hour and a half,
[00:24:17] like waiting to be seen holding my lip together.
[00:24:22] So by the time the doctor actually saw me,
[00:24:24] it was starting to like, you know,
[00:24:26] can you go back and you'll back together?
[00:24:29] So either rip it apart.
[00:24:30] Oh, Sean, please stop.
[00:24:34] So that hurt.
[00:24:41] He just like said that hurts.
[00:24:43] I mean that, I mean I like the doctor's like,
[00:24:46] okay, this is going to hurt.
[00:24:47] I'm like, okay, I'm ready for it.
[00:24:49] And he pulls it apart.
[00:24:50] And I just like, you know, mother with a fist ball.
[00:24:57] Yeah, you're ready to knock him out.
[00:25:00] And he was, you know, he was like from India.
[00:25:05] Oh, and he had mine too.
[00:25:07] I think the cow.
[00:25:08] Yeah.
[00:25:09] He had a big bushy mustache.
[00:25:11] This one.
[00:25:12] I don't know.
[00:25:12] And when he had, when he had to work,
[00:25:14] work on my like, he's like, okay,
[00:25:17] he's like, I hate to do this to you because you have a wonderful
[00:25:20] mustache, but I have to shave it.
[00:25:23] Oh my.
[00:25:24] I'm like, do what you got to do doc.
[00:25:27] I mean, I get it.
[00:25:29] He's so full.
[00:25:30] He was like, you have a wonderful mustache.
[00:25:33] Mustache.
[00:25:34] Yeah.
[00:25:35] I would even like my mustachio.
[00:25:37] Yeah.
[00:25:38] So I'm like, okay.
[00:25:39] Wow.
[00:25:39] So, you know, hey, my mustache.
[00:25:43] So he, he, he sewed it back together.
[00:25:46] And he's like, you know, like two weeks,
[00:25:48] we'll have to have these taken on.
[00:25:49] Like, okay, great.
[00:25:52] The real problem became now, like any other person by the
[00:25:58] time, like when they get stitches, everything is still
[00:26:02] swollen up.
[00:26:03] So by the time it's healed, the stitches are kind of
[00:26:07] loosened.
[00:26:07] You only have to go to a doctor.
[00:26:08] You can just kind of cut them out yourself.
[00:26:10] Yep.
[00:26:11] I couldn't because I did such a good job of keeping my
[00:26:14] shit together.
[00:26:15] Oh, wow.
[00:26:16] So there was no swelling.
[00:26:18] Yeah.
[00:26:19] By the time the doctor saw me, there was no swelling.
[00:26:23] So it never, so I actually had to go back.
[00:26:26] They had to shave my mustache again to be able to
[00:26:30] remove the sutures.
[00:26:32] Oh my God.
[00:26:33] Yeah.
[00:26:34] Wow.
[00:26:36] I was like, this sucks.
[00:26:40] Well, I don't know.
[00:26:41] I've taken my own stitches out before when I had to get
[00:26:46] back here.
[00:26:47] So I don't know.
[00:26:47] Maybe it's only three.
[00:26:50] One's through the nail.
[00:26:51] So I don't, yeah, that's the only thing I'm going to
[00:26:54] do.
[00:26:55] They also make the ones that, those ones that
[00:26:56] dissolve.
[00:26:57] He said they aren't dissolved.
[00:26:58] He said I will have to have them physically.
[00:27:01] Right.
[00:27:01] I asked my dad, like, can you take these on for me?
[00:27:04] And he's like, those are tight.
[00:27:07] Like, you know, my dad was like, yeah, you might need
[00:27:10] to see a professional.
[00:27:12] Tight.
[00:27:12] I might cut, re-cut your lips.
[00:27:15] Wow.
[00:27:17] You did a great job.
[00:27:20] Well, like, yeah, I mean, but at the same time it
[00:27:23] was annoying because it was like, like, by the
[00:27:28] time I saw the doctor, between the pressure I
[00:27:31] was applying and the cold compress, you know,
[00:27:33] like, you know, he had to rip it back open to
[00:27:36] do any work.
[00:27:36] Fucking stop saying that.
[00:27:39] By the time it was time to take, you know,
[00:27:41] because of everything, by the time it was
[00:27:45] when it was time to take the stitches out,
[00:27:46] like you had to go back to the hospital to
[00:27:48] have it done because you couldn't do it
[00:27:51] yourself.
[00:27:52] So like, yeah, yeah, he did everything
[00:27:53] great, but at the same time it fucked up
[00:27:56] everything, you know?
[00:28:01] Like I would have been better off probably
[00:28:03] just, you know, super gluing that together.
[00:28:06] Oh my God, don't say it.
[00:28:09] And you said it.
[00:28:10] I did.
[00:28:12] So, I mean, I, your pain 100 times worse
[00:28:17] than mine, but...
[00:28:19] I don't know, it didn't really hurt.
[00:28:21] Well, somebody said that about super glue.
[00:28:25] They were like, why didn't you just super
[00:28:26] glue it back on?
[00:28:26] I was like, well, there was, you know,
[00:28:28] a flap of my finger was hanging off my
[00:28:31] thumb.
[00:28:31] I felt maybe I needed professional help here.
[00:28:34] I don't think super glue is the way to get with that.
[00:28:36] There was so much blood, where was I supposed
[00:28:38] to put the fucking super glue?
[00:28:39] I don't even know.
[00:28:41] I tell you what, I had a lot of blood on my
[00:28:43] arm.
[00:28:44] I was picking off specks when I got home
[00:28:46] and I was like, oh, I'm wearing blood.
[00:28:48] Yeah, I held it above my hand to hold
[00:28:51] her away there, or above my hand because
[00:28:52] that's what my boss kept saying, put your
[00:28:54] hand back up.
[00:28:56] That's tiring.
[00:28:57] Yes, it is.
[00:28:58] So I had to like hold my other hand
[00:29:01] and like hold my ring above my head and
[00:29:03] yeah, because we were in her truck.
[00:29:07] Yeah, I used to hate when I used to wall
[00:29:09] paper, you know, a lot of that works
[00:29:10] above your head.
[00:29:11] So like, it's like, fuck, my arms are done.
[00:29:14] Yes, I cannot work above my head.
[00:29:18] Which is weird because I was just talking
[00:29:20] to my other boss about that today.
[00:29:22] He said something about working above
[00:29:24] your head.
[00:29:24] I was like, oh, I'm useless.
[00:29:25] I said that's why I would fail on
[00:29:26] survivor because I would never be able
[00:29:28] to do those challenges half of them are above your head.
[00:29:30] Yeah, nope.
[00:29:34] You'd be a puzzle person.
[00:29:37] Puzzle, not these days, but you know, years,
[00:29:41] not years ago, but years, you know, I could
[00:29:44] did the swimming challenges to not just
[00:29:46] too slow and tired now.
[00:29:49] And puzzles, yes.
[00:29:51] I think I could possibly make it to the
[00:29:56] jury just with my son.
[00:29:58] Yeah, yeah.
[00:30:01] I don't know.
[00:30:05] Thanks for the vote of confidence.
[00:30:07] Kind of a bitch.
[00:30:09] No, I can be.
[00:30:10] I am not straight out.
[00:30:13] I can be a bitch.
[00:30:15] Piss me off when I become bitchy.
[00:30:17] What female?
[00:30:19] So some big news on Thursday.
[00:30:24] Dun dun dun.
[00:30:26] Bum bum bum.
[00:30:28] Um, Lincoln Park is announced they they
[00:30:32] have a new lead singer and to replace the
[00:30:37] deceased Chester Bennington and, you know,
[00:30:41] new album World Tour, all that jazz.
[00:30:44] Yeah.
[00:30:44] Now you and I have seen Lincoln Park
[00:30:48] together three times.
[00:30:52] I am a fan of Lincoln Park.
[00:30:54] You are a much bigger fan of Lincoln Park.
[00:30:57] Super fan.
[00:30:57] Super.
[00:30:58] Super.
[00:31:00] So, I get so my first question how much
[00:31:05] of what they released like they did the
[00:31:08] concert?
[00:31:10] They know they released.
[00:31:12] It was an interview that they all did
[00:31:15] with some guy and they the music video
[00:31:20] for the new song.
[00:31:21] How much of it have you seen and what
[00:31:23] are your your thoughts?
[00:31:25] I haven't watched a video yet.
[00:31:26] I've only heard the song because I was driving
[00:31:29] in my car and I got that serious.
[00:31:30] And I saw Lincoln Park come up and I'm
[00:31:34] looking at the name of the song and I'm
[00:31:36] like that is no name of this because
[00:31:39] I yeah yeah so I was like oh yeah
[00:31:42] that's right I heard they were going
[00:31:44] to be putting new stuff on and then I
[00:31:45] heard a female voice and I'm like
[00:31:46] absolutely not.
[00:31:47] No.
[00:31:49] I just I couldn't even finish I turned it
[00:31:52] like I couldn't even listen and it's
[00:31:54] nothing against her.
[00:31:56] There was just something that
[00:31:58] nerve me about that for some reason.
[00:32:00] I don't know why because I'm a bitch.
[00:32:05] No, it was just well I have a
[00:32:08] hard time just listening to Lincoln
[00:32:09] Park in general and I know I didn't
[00:32:11] know Chaston he meant nothing to me
[00:32:13] and blah blah blah but the music
[00:32:15] meant a lot to me at the time
[00:32:19] in my life and when I was going through
[00:32:22] when that stuff was that shit helped me
[00:32:24] through something you know so I have a
[00:32:28] really hard time just even listening to
[00:32:30] it now like it comes on in series 6
[00:32:32] often right and a lot of times I will
[00:32:35] go right past it to the next station.
[00:32:37] Right.
[00:32:38] So when I heard that I was like
[00:32:42] nope call yourself something else
[00:32:44] please.
[00:32:46] I'm kind of in the same boat but
[00:32:49] like I'll say I like the new song
[00:32:52] something I'm going to listen to it all the way through
[00:32:54] right I listen to it I like it
[00:32:56] I like her voice and her name is Emily
[00:32:59] Armstrong
[00:33:03] I listened to bits and pieces of the
[00:33:06] concert that I saw posted online
[00:33:08] on Thursday again having her
[00:33:14] perform the the old stuff she
[00:33:17] sounds good I didn't have a problem with
[00:33:20] it it's just it hurts too much
[00:33:25] it wasn't meant for her to sing right
[00:33:28] that was like Chester and what he was going through
[00:33:31] right like it's this thing of like
[00:33:33] and I'm not saying like Lincoln Park
[00:33:35] you know the lasting Lincoln Park is
[00:33:37] going to do the rest of the remaining
[00:33:38] members is in any way shape or form
[00:33:41] disrespect Chester Bennington I don't
[00:33:44] know I'm not saying that at all what I'm
[00:33:46] saying is from my standpoint
[00:33:49] I'm sure from your standpoint as well
[00:33:52] especially when you think about the last time we saw them live
[00:33:56] it was Chris Cornell's The Opening Act
[00:34:00] and like and not too long after that
[00:34:04] they're both gone right you know you're a poor
[00:34:06] yeah well not I mean but
[00:34:09] it's birthday so I can't remember
[00:34:11] but it was like a year after that concert
[00:34:15] Chris Cornell died and not too long after that Chester's gone
[00:34:18] so it hurts to hear anybody sing that song
[00:34:24] yeah those songs you know I'm not
[00:34:29] I am not being critical of Emily Armstrong's performance
[00:34:34] because she performed well like listening to her
[00:34:39] sing the songs like she sounds good
[00:34:46] but like you said that they're not
[00:34:51] those songs were about Chester's experience
[00:34:54] not her experience when Chester sang those songs
[00:34:58] there was something that came from his soul
[00:35:01] yeah that you felt in those songs
[00:35:04] yeah and knowing what they meant
[00:35:13] to him the way we saw him last
[00:35:20] it hurts too much to hear somebody else sing it
[00:35:24] and I mean that in the most respectful way possible
[00:35:28] to the band and to Emily Armstrong
[00:35:33] like I'm not critiquing you
[00:35:35] I'm not saying the band shouldn't do it
[00:35:37] no I'm not saying that she shouldn't be doing it
[00:35:42] but I'm not saying that it's just from a personal standpoint
[00:35:44] I know for you and it is for me
[00:35:46] it just hurts too much to hear somebody else sing those songs
[00:35:50] yes
[00:35:53] now while you're watching the concert video
[00:35:56] did you notice somebody was missing from the band
[00:35:58] yes yeah the drummer Brad
[00:36:02] yeah but I saw an interview with Mike
[00:36:05] and he hasn't been a part of the band for a number of years
[00:36:08] no but they did ask him to join him on this
[00:36:11] and he declined in what he called a reunion
[00:36:14] right that's what he called it
[00:36:17] because I know like they talk I saw Mike was talking about
[00:36:20] and they were asking him about Brad
[00:36:22] and he said he had you know Rob
[00:36:25] Rob I'm sorry that's Brad
[00:36:28] well there is a Brad there is a Brad yeah not the drummer
[00:36:31] yeah and he said you know Rob
[00:36:34] Rob wanted to step away from the band a while back
[00:36:38] right like he's like if you think like even though we haven't
[00:36:43] done anything quote unquote
[00:36:45] we've still done things like the 25th anniversary of hybrid theory
[00:36:48] and stuff like that and he's like if you look at though
[00:36:51] what we were doing then he wasn't a part of that either
[00:36:54] right so it's not
[00:36:56] it's not a matter of him stepping away now saying I don't want to do this
[00:36:59] for whatever it's he's already done that
[00:37:02] along so I didn't take it as anything other than
[00:37:06] he's no longer interested right
[00:37:09] and that baseball what Mike said you know
[00:37:11] I tend to like think well that's probably correct yeah
[00:37:14] you know I agree but
[00:37:18] like I wish them nothing but the best
[00:37:20] I'm kind of you know I talked about a little bit
[00:37:24] a couple days ago
[00:37:26] and I was trying to find something to equate it to
[00:37:33] like it's the worst
[00:37:34] analogy I can think of but it's the only one
[00:37:37] of the kind of I can the square pig I can fit into this round
[00:37:40] hole and that's when Sammy Hagar took over for Van Halen
[00:37:44] right right I never wanted to hear Sammy Hagar singing
[00:37:47] David Lee Ross songs right
[00:37:50] it didn't feel right no
[00:37:53] but at the end when I saw Van Halen live the only
[00:37:56] two songs from that era they did were Panama
[00:37:59] and jump right everything
[00:38:02] everything else was San Ere but I saw him in
[00:38:05] 94 at that point they were on the right here
[00:38:09] right now tour which was the live album
[00:38:12] from for from awful car knowledge
[00:38:15] right so how like how you say it all
[00:38:19] for the fuck out
[00:38:22] you're the only person that does that all the time
[00:38:25] from awful car that's technically the name of the album
[00:38:27] awful car amount I know
[00:38:29] I was an owner
[00:38:33] took me a long time to figure out what that actually meant
[00:38:36] so I saw something with a t-shirt on
[00:38:40] like oh shit okay
[00:38:42] yeah fuck that makes sense
[00:38:44] the line fall goes along
[00:38:47] but um
[00:38:50] I agree I agree I'm sorry
[00:38:53] yeah like I mean it's so like I
[00:38:55] like I've been going through my head like
[00:39:00] other bands that lost leads sing like that dad
[00:39:03] lead singer die like how did they do like any
[00:39:06] only ones that really came that left my attention
[00:39:09] were AC DC and somehow
[00:39:12] they found a guy who sounds exactly like the other singer
[00:39:15] and they could just keep going and they've been doing so for
[00:39:18] 40 years yep
[00:39:21] and in excess
[00:39:26] and they tried to replace Michael Hutchins like
[00:39:29] 10 years later successful they weren't they were not
[00:39:31] no I guess I mean like JD Fortune did not
[00:39:34] make them a fortune right but at the same time
[00:39:37] it wasn't
[00:39:40] a matter of
[00:39:43] like JD Fortune just made a ton of mistakes that cost him
[00:39:46] that job I'm not saying right it wasn't
[00:39:50] but like at the same time you said they weren't more successful
[00:39:53] I'm just saying they were not successful I'm not saying
[00:39:56] that they were successful I'm just saying I was just saying
[00:39:58] they were in the same no you said
[00:40:01] any any band that had a lead singer die
[00:40:04] and somebody take that and be successful that's what we talked about on Thursday
[00:40:08] I didn't say that today
[00:40:11] you're getting our conversation I apologize that is my fault
[00:40:14] no it was just a matter of
[00:40:16] those were the two bands I can think of that they had a lead singer die
[00:40:20] they tried to replace the lead singer and what were the results
[00:40:23] AC DC where it was clearly
[00:40:25] a massive success
[00:40:28] in excess not so much but it wasn't
[00:40:32] a matter of
[00:40:36] the lead singer
[00:40:38] not being good as much as it was the lead singer
[00:40:43] succumbing to drugs and alcohol
[00:40:46] and screwing up his life
[00:40:49] so that's kind of how I'm viewing that
[00:40:54] you do wonder
[00:40:55] like if JD Fortune didn't have those problems
[00:40:58] would they have gone on to have any
[00:41:00] they didn't even have a chance like within a year he was gone
[00:41:05] or that we know of
[00:41:06] I don't know what happened I don't know personally but yeah it was weird
[00:41:09] very quickly I mean they did that whole entire TV show
[00:41:15] the only other thing I could think of is
[00:41:18] Queen has at least three different times
[00:41:23] toward
[00:41:24] we're done something with another lead singer
[00:41:27] I know in the early 2000s
[00:41:30] they did it with Robbie Williams who I thought
[00:41:33] was a perfect fit
[00:41:37] later on they did it with Paul Rogers
[00:41:40] who you would know is a former lead singer of Bad Company
[00:41:43] right I remember you telling me that
[00:41:45] right and then there was a third guy
[00:41:48] can't think of his name you like him
[00:41:53] oh you're talking about Adam Lambert Adam Lambert yeah
[00:41:56] they did see this because I wanted to go see him when he was here
[00:41:59] absolutely not and I'm like Adam Lambert is fucking fantastic
[00:42:03] yeah the dude
[00:42:05] was like the perfect fit there
[00:42:07] I love him like he is one of my guilty pleasures
[00:42:11] I freaking love that kid and I never even watched
[00:42:15] American Idol not even one episode
[00:42:17] I didn't even watch somebody interview
[00:42:20] I don't even know how they get on it
[00:42:23] I heard a song in my niece's radio
[00:42:26] one time I was like who the hell is this and she told me
[00:42:29] and I was like listen to more shit and I just got addicted to him
[00:42:32] yeah
[00:42:35] I haven't heard anything from him lately but I'm guessing that's because he does the queen shit
[00:42:38] right now right
[00:42:39] I don't think he's doing anything with Queen right now
[00:42:41] no I think they were still
[00:42:44] yeah I haven't heard anything from him
[00:42:46] I don't know what he's doing I just know once he started doing the queen thing
[00:42:49] I didn't hear any stuff from him
[00:42:51] yeah like that was like
[00:42:57] I remember when Queen came to Pittsburgh
[00:43:01] with Paul Rogers now I like Paul Rogers
[00:43:04] and I like Queen but I'm thinking to myself
[00:43:06] man that does not sound like a good combination
[00:43:09] why not
[00:43:11] he doesn't have the voice for it
[00:43:13] no
[00:43:13] I mean like when I think of Paul Rogers
[00:43:17] it's like you know it's bad company
[00:43:21] rock and roll fantasy
[00:43:22] or even like when he did the
[00:43:27] the two albums with the firm
[00:43:30] I don't know what that is
[00:43:33] that was Paul Rogers
[00:43:36] and Jimmy Page
[00:43:38] they don't remember the song Radio Active
[00:43:42] oh I know that song
[00:43:43] that was the firm
[00:43:49] they do also
[00:43:53] they didn't get much radio play
[00:43:54] but Midnight Moonlight was a great song
[00:43:57] but on their debut album
[00:44:01] they do a cover of
[00:44:04] um
[00:44:09] you never close your eyes anymore
[00:44:13] when I kiss your lips
[00:44:16] oh my god I have no idea what you're singing
[00:44:18] oh wait is that the old song
[00:44:20] yeah I know what you're talking about
[00:44:23] not the rightly sped up
[00:44:25] is it the rightly sped up?
[00:44:28] okay let me just sound
[00:44:31] what do we get the name of that song
[00:44:34] that's embarrassing
[00:44:36] neither so we're both being embarrassed
[00:44:40] but yeah
[00:44:43] I feel like yeah
[00:44:45] we'll share that title together
[00:44:47] yes we will
[00:44:50] we certainly will
[00:44:53] you've lost that love and fear
[00:44:55] that's it
[00:44:56] yeah but it was
[00:45:03] Paul Rogers on vocals
[00:45:05] Jimmy Page on guitar
[00:45:10] X Uriah
[00:45:12] Heath Drummer Chris Slade
[00:45:14] I have no idea what's his name
[00:45:16] and bassist Tony Fren I think he was also from Bad Company
[00:45:21] oh okay well
[00:45:25] they do like this very bluesy
[00:45:28] what was the reason you didn't go see him
[00:45:32] I didn't think Paul Rogers would sound good doing Queen music
[00:45:35] oh that's right you did say that
[00:45:37] and it's
[00:45:42] I hate to do that because it's like that
[00:45:44] you're a dick but
[00:45:46] are you not going to see somebody in concert you're a dick
[00:45:50] no with Queen especially
[00:45:54] I feel like Freddie Mercury's voice is irreplaceable
[00:45:57] I agree
[00:45:59] like seeing like the tribute concert they did in 1992
[00:46:03] and seeing all the people who were performing us
[00:46:06] was great
[00:46:08] but I don't want to see any of them actually
[00:46:11] replace Freddie Mercury
[00:46:14] it was like a cool tribute thing
[00:46:16] it was cool to see Queen one last time with all these people
[00:46:20] and you got
[00:46:25] Axel and Elton John
[00:46:26] doing Bohemian Rhapsody
[00:46:29] everything it would do like a phenomenal show
[00:46:32] but at the same time
[00:46:35] Freddie's Freddie
[00:46:39] and I sat here
[00:46:42] and Robbie Williams would have been the perfect replacement
[00:46:44] and in a way he is but still
[00:46:47] he's not Freddie
[00:46:50] like that's just a unique talent
[00:46:53] that will never be replicated
[00:46:55] but even that's different
[00:47:01] because to me it's then critiquing
[00:47:04] the person trying to replace him
[00:47:06] where with Lincoln Park I'm not critiquing her at all
[00:47:10] it's
[00:47:13] right because it's not fair to her
[00:47:15] and it's funny
[00:47:18] I was not fair to anybody who tried to replace Freddie Mercury
[00:47:21] the difference is
[00:47:26] I can't describe it other than it hurts to hear somebody else singing us
[00:47:30] I'm not saying they're trying to replace them
[00:47:33] no I'm only saying it because they're not
[00:47:36] they just got some big shoes to fill that's all
[00:47:38] right but it's still
[00:47:40] it's that thing of like Freddie wrote the music for Queen
[00:47:47] the band wrote but he wrote a lot of it himself
[00:47:52] and he had a vision
[00:47:54] but it wasn't like
[00:47:55] he wasn't writing about personal experience
[00:47:59] he was trying to just write good music
[00:48:05] writing music was therapy for Chester Bennington
[00:48:07] and it came out in the music
[00:48:09] and you hear it in the music
[00:48:12] you hear it in the lyrics
[00:48:13] you hear it in the way he sang those lyrics
[00:48:16] you heard the pain in his voice
[00:48:20] it's different hearing somebody else take that over
[00:48:25] who hasn't had those same experiences
[00:48:27] and isn't giving you that same pain that Chester did
[00:48:30] and it's a weird thing to say
[00:48:32] but I always felt like for Chester
[00:48:35] those moments on stage singing those songs
[00:48:40] was again therapeutic for him
[00:48:42] he was getting it out
[00:48:44] and he was sharing it with you
[00:48:46] and you were embracing it because you felt it as well
[00:48:54] so I wish them nothing but the best
[00:48:59] I'll probably listen to the new album
[00:49:01] when it comes out in November
[00:49:04] I can't remember I saw a date photo
[00:49:08] but it is that thing though
[00:49:10] of like I can't imagine
[00:49:13] like when they come to town we're going to go see them
[00:49:16] probably not and that will probably be the first time
[00:49:22] we've ever missed them coming to town
[00:49:24] I guess where we saw them four times
[00:49:27] I don't think I just don't
[00:49:31] because I know the old stuff will be in there
[00:49:34] it'll be overflowing with the old things
[00:49:37] write all new stuff call yourself a different name
[00:49:40] and I'll get on board
[00:49:42] but it's... no I can't do it
[00:49:46] I don't know
[00:49:48] 5 years from now I'll think differently
[00:49:51] 5 days from now I might think differently
[00:49:57] but it is interesting
[00:49:58] if you think about it
[00:50:01] all the bands from that era
[00:50:06] they're kind of the last ones standing
[00:50:10] why? I believe that's all
[00:50:12] Mike
[00:50:13] I think it's
[00:50:19] they got lumped in with like Limp Biscuit
[00:50:24] all those bands of that era
[00:50:27] kind of got lumped in like that new metal
[00:50:30] but they were better
[00:50:32] and they were better than it
[00:50:35] it's kind of like saying Motley Crue is hair and metal
[00:50:38] no they're not they're better than that
[00:50:42] I don't think they're...
[00:50:43] no but people lump them in there
[00:50:45] because it's the same era
[00:50:47] but they are better than that
[00:50:54] and they were better than that
[00:50:56] Duran Duran gets lumped in
[00:50:57] I hate that because they're way better than that
[00:51:00] they're not just 80s music sorry
[00:51:02] they've been around since the late 70s and they're still here
[00:51:05] and they're better than... well that's just 80s pop
[00:51:07] no, they are better than that
[00:51:11] there's a certain level that you're talking about
[00:51:14] they are high above it
[00:51:16] so that's just how I feel
[00:51:21] it's like they're kind of in that same
[00:51:26] stratosphere of like
[00:51:29] they're the band that was better
[00:51:31] than everybody
[00:51:34] like them biscuits are fun
[00:51:39] I told you the other day
[00:51:43] I mean this
[00:51:45] like that
[00:51:47] Nucky and Breakstop
[00:51:49] that's the one I was listening to
[00:51:52] and I said I was listening to Breakstop
[00:51:57] and I said if you know that song
[00:52:00] and it comes on the radio while you're driving
[00:52:03] and whenever he says Break your fucking face tonight
[00:52:06] if you don't scream that with them
[00:52:08] there's something wrong with you
[00:52:10] because it is just so much fun to do
[00:52:12] and they're good at all my anger
[00:52:18] not even pissed that I was cut off 5 times
[00:52:21] whatever
[00:52:24] that's what Link Biscuit did for you
[00:52:26] Link Biscuit was actually therapeutic listening to it
[00:52:28] yeah but for like
[00:52:32] that, Link Biscuit was like
[00:52:34] frat boy music
[00:52:36] it was like people like Sugar Ray and stuff like that
[00:52:40] they were like the people who were
[00:52:42] that was just generic
[00:52:48] just hit you in the face
[00:52:50] and keep going where Link and Park
[00:52:52] there was a whole other level too
[00:52:54] Link and Park built a relationship with you through their music
[00:52:57] and endured
[00:52:59] they had no idea who you were but they sure the hell loved you
[00:53:04] but like
[00:53:08] I mean
[00:53:12] 3 or 4 Transformers movies that end with that Link and Park song
[00:53:16] well you can't say that because movies
[00:53:18] and all the other thing
[00:53:21] Resident Evil has Perfect Circle and everyone
[00:53:23] you can't say that
[00:53:27] Perfect Circle is the same song
[00:53:29] and Rage had the Matrix movies
[00:53:34] right
[00:53:35] but they reached that point of
[00:53:40] popularity and mainstream appeal
[00:53:42] that they could be put into a Transformers movie
[00:53:44] they could be the focus song at the end of it
[00:53:48] and the funny thing is I've seen other
[00:53:52] things done
[00:53:53] when they use that song and it works perfectly
[00:53:57] to like the ending of the
[00:53:59] Kenobi show
[00:54:01] when Obi-Wan is meeting Luke for the first time
[00:54:05] and they use that song
[00:54:07] and it times up perfectly
[00:54:12] now I got that song in my head
[00:54:14] that's a good song
[00:54:17] let me see if I can show you the old one
[00:54:20] alright so that's a
[00:54:25] we can move on here
[00:54:27] trot trot trot trot trot
[00:54:29] I keep opening the empty one why don't we keep doing that
[00:54:34] it's nothing official
[00:54:36] but apparently Josh Brolin
[00:54:39] is going to be playing Hal Jordan in the Lair turns
[00:54:43] show that's going to be on
[00:54:46] HBO and Max
[00:54:49] you didn't say it wasn't official yet
[00:54:52] when you told me well I mean it's all but
[00:54:56] like it hasn't been an official announcement but apparently it's come out
[00:54:59] that he's going to be playing Hal Jordan
[00:55:03] and this is going to be a TV show
[00:55:05] yes for how many seasons
[00:55:08] well that I don't know
[00:55:09] I mean we'll have to wait and see
[00:55:12] but I know like originally this was supposed to be a Max
[00:55:15] exclusive and now they're moving it to HBO
[00:55:20] because they want to make HBO
[00:55:21] still be important even though
[00:55:25] in the age of streaming how important can it be
[00:55:27] yeah that's the discussion
[00:55:30] with me and Ian had and for that's a whole other thing
[00:55:32] but my question to you is like
[00:55:38] I know you're not overly familiar with
[00:55:40] Green Lantern you saw the movie
[00:55:43] which one? The one with
[00:55:47] Ryan Reynolds
[00:55:49] okay I've edited that I've seen ten minutes of that movie
[00:55:53] okay
[00:55:55] sorry I thought we went to go see it together
[00:55:58] no
[00:56:01] it's not what I want
[00:56:04] I think you couldn't wait to see it
[00:56:06] and I was like go it
[00:56:09] no need to wait for me
[00:56:10] oh yeah because I mean it was Green Lantern and he's one of my favorites
[00:56:14] yeah and
[00:56:16] you saw all your rings and you have them all
[00:56:20] all the rings of power
[00:56:22] that was quite the collection
[00:56:27] as was your comic book collection
[00:56:29] yeah
[00:56:33] so I don't know
[00:56:35] how do you when you hear that
[00:56:38] he's going to be playing how Jordan does that excite you?
[00:56:42] I wouldn't say it excites me but it interests me for sure
[00:56:46] because I'm not a huge Josh Brolin fan
[00:56:49] like I don't be like oh my god who's Josh
[00:56:52] was he in Everest?
[00:56:57] yeah okay
[00:57:00] he was the rich dude
[00:57:01] yeah he was the wrong rich but yeah he was the one who lost half of space
[00:57:04] they were not all rich the teacher was not if you remember
[00:57:08] anyways
[00:57:09] yeah he was in that movie yeah
[00:57:13] from what he has done
[00:57:16] in these types of movies already I have enjoyed
[00:57:19] I have never said man somebody else could be better than that
[00:57:22] or you know what I mean I just
[00:57:24] you're talking about Deadpool 2
[00:57:26] when he played cable and playing Thanos
[00:57:29] in the Marvel movies
[00:57:31] he also played Jonah Hex
[00:57:33] which is a comic book character
[00:57:36] that was a horrible movie
[00:57:39] but I do remember him being on it
[00:57:42] so anything that I like and have been interested in
[00:57:46] I've enjoyed so I have no doubt
[00:57:49] that he can you know
[00:57:51] possibly pull this off to maybe
[00:57:53] I'll sit and watch some Greenlander and stop
[00:57:55] you know what I mean make me want to watch because I know what a good job he could do
[00:57:59] right
[00:58:00] so I'm gonna say excite as much as
[00:58:03] interest or peaks my interest
[00:58:06] well I mean I I mean the thing becomes this
[00:58:09] like if you're bringing in Josh Brolin
[00:58:12] that means you're doing an old man howl Jordan
[00:58:15] right
[00:58:17] which bums me out a little bit
[00:58:19] like let me put it this way
[00:58:23] I think Josh Brolin is gonna be very good
[00:58:25] he's a very good actor yes like
[00:58:27] so I have no doubt he can bring something to that role
[00:58:31] and it's going to be done very well
[00:58:34] if you were to ask me like okay
[00:58:37] Sean your dream casting who is your perfect
[00:58:39] howl Jordan Chris Pine
[00:58:43] yeah
[00:58:44] start directed yeah
[00:58:47] I can see him as a young howl Jordan
[00:58:50] that would be my howl Jordan how do you know that
[00:58:53] they're just starting with old man howl Jordan
[00:58:56] don't do flashbacks to young howl Jordan
[00:58:59] have a young howl Jordan too I mean they might
[00:59:02] what the storylines on you're right but if you're
[00:59:05] if you're telling me that howl Jordan is gonna be played by Josh Brolin that means you're going to have an old man howl Jordan
[00:59:09] right
[00:59:12] I'm not denying that
[00:59:13] I guess for me
[00:59:17] here's where the disconnect comes into play
[00:59:23] howl Jordan is my green lantern
[00:59:26] okay like
[00:59:27] I grew up with howl Jordan is green lantern
[00:59:31] the comic books I read howl Jordan was green lantern
[00:59:34] I remember when you know
[00:59:37] the whole
[00:59:40] everything that like the parallax
[00:59:45] saga
[00:59:46] howl happened to become the specter and everything that went into all
[00:59:49] that was like my guy
[00:59:52] right now there is an entire
[00:59:55] generation who grew up with
[00:59:58] John Stewart as their green lantern
[01:00:01] oh
[01:00:03] John Stewart was the green lantern
[01:00:05] in the Justice League cartoon
[01:00:09] that was done by the same people who did Batman
[01:00:11] in the animated series
[01:00:13] so that's their green lantern
[01:00:16] those are millennials
[01:00:19] people in their 30s and maybe they're early 40s now
[01:00:22] they grew up that was their howl
[01:00:25] that was their green lantern is that an older green lantern or younger
[01:00:29] no it was just a different guy
[01:00:32] he was
[01:00:34] an ex marine
[01:00:36] who became an architect but he
[01:00:40] had the power of will
[01:00:42] and he got a ring
[01:00:45] in the comic books he's howls back up
[01:00:51] like
[01:00:51] because howl does so much
[01:00:56] and there's so much that goes on in our sector
[01:00:59] because apparently we are the center of the universe
[01:01:01] the guardians deemed that howl needed an actual
[01:01:05] backup and they got John Stewart
[01:01:08] so howl could travel the universe
[01:01:11] and John Stewart could stay behind and still keep watch over
[01:01:14] our sector
[01:01:18] but in the Justice League
[01:01:22] John Stewart was the green lantern for our sector
[01:01:25] there was no howl jordan
[01:01:27] so there's an entire generation
[01:01:31] of millennials
[01:01:33] that's who they grew up with
[01:01:34] so I understand
[01:01:38] from a certain perspective
[01:01:40] it would probably be more profitable to make howl jordan
[01:01:45] John Stewart
[01:01:47] the main green lantern and howl jordan
[01:01:51] a secondary
[01:01:53] old man who's passing the torch
[01:01:56] maybe the John Stewart
[01:01:57] I don't know exactly howl is going to play out
[01:02:01] but to me if you're having
[01:02:04] josh brolin you're bringing him in to be
[01:02:07] the old man howl
[01:02:10] who has already had all those experiences
[01:02:15] and me I want a younger howl
[01:02:19] that can go through those experiences
[01:02:22] that would be cool
[01:02:27] but I understand
[01:02:29] from a certain perspective
[01:02:32] where you're probably marketing to
[01:02:36] 30 and 40 year olds saying
[01:02:38] they grew up with this guy
[01:02:41] we're going to focus on this guy
[01:02:43] we got to satisfy gen X
[01:02:46] so let's give him this guy
[01:02:47] but we'll give him an older version
[01:02:49] so I get it
[01:02:55] how the wheels are turning
[01:02:57] in these executives heads
[01:02:58] but at the same time
[01:03:03] honestly
[01:03:06] you give me
[01:03:12] my guy and I'm right there
[01:03:15] I would also
[01:03:18] if you want to go with an older howl jordan
[01:03:19] I would have accepted matt bummer
[01:03:21] did you want matt bummer to play howl jordan
[01:03:26] but no you wanted him to play somebody else
[01:03:28] I thought matt bummer is batman
[01:03:31] would have been amazing
[01:03:34] he's doing something now
[01:03:37] he's doing streaming services
[01:03:39] he is still a very busy actor
[01:03:42] and they're talking about doing a white collar
[01:03:45] revival
[01:03:47] I never finished that series
[01:03:50] surprise surprise
[01:03:53] but yeah
[01:03:54] him and the guy who played his partner
[01:03:58] they've talked about doing some sort of revival
[01:04:03] which I would be behind
[01:04:06] I would be behind
[01:04:08] way behind probably more behind than you
[01:04:14] oh you mean behind them doing
[01:04:15] I think I'm behind on watching to get up to the result
[01:04:20] I watched the entire series of movies
[01:04:22] I know what happens in newt caffordy
[01:04:25] how many seasons are there
[01:04:29] I'm at least three or four behind
[01:04:32] I only watched a couple seasons
[01:04:33] but it was good I just drifted to something else
[01:04:37] it fell into that trap
[01:04:41] there's an overarching storyline
[01:04:43] the entire season
[01:04:45] but every episode is like its own
[01:04:49] episode
[01:04:50] and so you have that overarching
[01:04:54] story kind of build in the last three or four episodes
[01:04:57] we're kind of focused on like okay now we're bringing this to a conclusion
[01:05:01] and then it would end in such a way that it's like
[01:05:04] okay
[01:05:06] now what the deal do
[01:05:09] you know
[01:05:12] we had to wait until the next season
[01:05:14] and the way it ends
[01:05:22] it was like a good ending I liked it
[01:05:26] but if they were to revive it
[01:05:28] somehow I would definitely
[01:05:32] be very interested in that
[01:05:34] I have to watch at least the last season
[01:05:39] and also he did do
[01:05:41] he was in
[01:05:52] the DC show
[01:05:53] on max
[01:05:54] I can't remember the name of it
[01:06:01] I don't know I'm sorry
[01:06:05] you can just look up his name
[01:06:23] you're the only person I know that has their
[01:06:25] Doom Patrol
[01:06:30] I didn't watch it but I remember it was
[01:06:35] existed
[01:06:36] who is he in there I don't know
[01:06:39] he was a negative man
[01:06:49] and like he was like this like
[01:06:52] 1950s test pilot
[01:06:54] who encountered and
[01:06:56] some sort of
[01:06:58] Ethereal beating in low orbit
[01:07:00] and absorbed him and like made him radioactive
[01:07:06] that's kind of for first
[01:07:07] yeah but it's a column book show
[01:07:11] very good
[01:07:12] it was a very good show
[01:07:19] it ran for a few seasons
[01:07:20] and it ran its course and they ended it
[01:07:23] and I thought it was really well done
[01:07:30] he's also in the magic mic movies
[01:07:33] I'm well aware of that
[01:07:34] I haven't seen the last one yet
[01:07:37] I don't know if I'm ever going to watch it
[01:07:41] I don't know if some of them can save that
[01:07:48] oh yes you can
[01:07:50] it wouldn't make you watch it
[01:07:52] it would make you have to watch the first two
[01:07:59] and then you can watch that one
[01:08:00] the genius of Quentin Tarantino is he wrote a scene
[01:08:04] into his movie where Selma Hayek fed him beer
[01:08:08] off of her foot
[01:08:11] known foot fetisher
[01:08:14] Quentin Tarantino
[01:08:16] she did it
[01:08:20] she's beautiful
[01:08:22] I like her voice
[01:08:24] her kid looks exactly like her
[01:08:26] she did
[01:08:31] she's a mother of a
[01:08:33] better with age
[01:08:37] isn't she married to some multi
[01:08:39] she had her
[01:08:44] some Spanish
[01:08:46] she had a fortune in her own right
[01:08:49] it was one of those deals where it's like
[01:08:52] you never have to work again
[01:08:54] but please do
[01:08:58] please continue
[01:08:59] I will continue to pay to see you
[01:09:02] please continue posting pictures of you jumping out of the water on your Instagram page
[01:09:07] okay I don't fall right into the screen
[01:09:08] so you go ahead and hit me please
[01:09:10] I just want to watch one of the movies
[01:09:16] that's where he just
[01:09:17] oh you're a pig Sean click
[01:09:20] sorry
[01:09:23] hmm
[01:09:25] yeah
[01:09:28] alright hopefully it's good
[01:09:29] fingers crossed
[01:09:31] it amazes me how many people hope
[01:09:36] the James Gunn stuff fails
[01:09:40] there's a large group of people who are like
[01:09:44] Zach Snyder should have gotten an opportunity to finish what he started
[01:09:49] and
[01:09:51] as much as I love it
[01:09:53] the worst thing Warner Brothers did was give him the money
[01:09:57] to finish his version of the Justice League
[01:10:00] mm-hmm
[01:10:00] it should have stayed buried because these people are just
[01:10:07] unrelenting and like
[01:10:08] James Gunn will never be as good as this is going to suck
[01:10:12] and how dare they and like they release stuff from the
[01:10:15] Superman movie that's coming up
[01:10:17] and like oh that suits awful and you know it's
[01:10:20] it looks like it's so baggy looking
[01:10:23] and what's this and what's this and look at this
[01:10:26] and it's just like shut the fuck up
[01:10:29] wow like
[01:10:31] give it an opportunity
[01:10:33] like you are judging
[01:10:35] a movie based upon like stills
[01:10:40] yeah and a picture here and there
[01:10:43] yeah and it's just it's this thing of like
[01:10:48] I get it like I would have loved to have seen Zach Snyder finish
[01:10:52] what he started as well
[01:10:54] I'd love to have seen where that went
[01:10:57] but it's like they're like sell up the Netflix
[01:10:59] Netflix and they're not going to give DC is not
[01:11:03] going to give these characters the Netflix
[01:11:06] like you just you
[01:11:08] they are worse than the people who are still
[01:11:12] like you can still save serenity
[01:11:14] right
[01:11:16] you can still save serenity
[01:11:19] that shit is dead and buried
[01:11:22] there is nothing to save
[01:11:26] you cannot reanimate that corpse
[01:11:29] it's the same thing with the Snyderverse it's dead
[01:11:31] it's gone as much as I enjoyed it
[01:11:34] and I know I'm in the minority but there is a very vocal
[01:11:37] minority of people who are just like
[01:11:39] it was brilliant
[01:11:42] yeah
[01:11:46] so let's see what's news coming
[01:11:49] I'm interested in what's new this coming
[01:11:51] I want to see what he's going to do with Superman
[01:11:53] I want to see where this all goes
[01:11:57] because
[01:12:00] I look at what he's got in the galaxy
[01:12:07] that was the movie
[01:12:10] when they announced that me and Ian sat here
[01:12:13] and we were like how do you make that work
[01:12:15] how do you make Groot work
[01:12:17] how do you make Rocket Raccoon work
[01:12:19] I can't see how this is going to be Marvel's dud
[01:12:23] and it's probably the best of what they do
[01:12:27] all three movies
[01:12:31] to the point that by the time you get to the third movie
[01:12:36] I am balling halfway through that movie
[01:12:40] I am full on Sally Dup
[01:12:45] Sally
[01:12:46] how like when you say that
[01:12:47] so for people who are like oh he's going to ruin it
[01:12:52] I hate to break it to you
[01:12:54] you can't ruin something that's all you're ruining
[01:12:58] great
[01:13:02] it's clear like the people who love this
[01:13:04] the Schneider verse are in the minority
[01:13:05] because if they were in the majority
[01:13:08] it would still be doing it
[01:13:11] okay so what group and I am
[01:13:15] I don't see them both
[01:13:18] well I would love to see Zach Schneider give an opportunity
[01:13:21] even if he did it as an animated version
[01:13:25] I'd love to see that
[01:13:26] I understand why you don't
[01:13:29] because you gave these people an inch and they're trying to take a yard
[01:13:32] right
[01:13:35] like it does driving us to what if
[01:13:39] because like you watched
[01:13:40] that Justice League movie and you get to the end
[01:13:43] and you see Dark Side
[01:13:46] and that moment where
[01:13:49] at the end when Superman
[01:13:52] punches
[01:13:54] what's his name
[01:13:57] and as he's flying to the boom tube
[01:14:01] Wonder Woman cuts his head off and it rolls in
[01:14:04] and Dark Side stops it with his foot and crushes it
[01:14:08] and like there is the Justice League staring down
[01:14:11] doomsday and doomsay is just standing
[01:14:13] with his hands behind his back like he is
[01:14:16] and then the boom tube closes
[01:14:18] and you're just like oh shit it's on
[01:14:22] do you like to see
[01:14:24] yeah like
[01:14:28] that's like the one villain
[01:14:34] the one real villain
[01:14:36] there are others I shouldn't say the one
[01:14:40] but that's like the villain
[01:14:42] that would unite the Justice League
[01:14:45] that would bring like okay we got
[01:14:48] that's the guy that's coming we don't know
[01:14:50] what he's gonna get here but he is fucking common
[01:14:55] doomsday the one
[01:14:56] that put Superman in that like prison thing
[01:14:59] that floated in space
[01:15:03] okay you're going all the way back to the original
[01:15:05] Christopher Reeve movie that wasn't doomsday
[01:15:08] that was Zod
[01:15:13] and his minions were sent to the Phantom Zone
[01:15:16] by Jarell
[01:15:19] and the Council of Krypton
[01:15:23] and they hit like an asteroid or something
[01:15:27] they were free and then they came down and
[01:15:29] Neil before Zod son of Jarell
[01:15:32] and all that jazz
[01:15:38] and as cool as that is
[01:15:40] it's still Michael Shannon
[01:15:43] went
[01:15:43] and he's like
[01:15:46] in Man of Steel at the beginning
[01:15:50] they're putting him in that crystal line
[01:15:52] and he's yelling at Laura I will find him
[01:15:55] he won't give him before me
[01:15:59] I don't know how people
[01:16:01] hate that movie but I don't know how you hate that movie
[01:16:03] that movie is so fucking good I'm gonna go home and watch it tonight
[01:16:09] especially in the beginning
[01:16:10] that whole beginning sequence on Krypton
[01:16:13] and then Laura just watching the planet
[01:16:16] explode as she just stands knowing that
[01:16:19] her son is like oh it's so good
[01:16:23] yeah
[01:16:25] sorry you got me thinking about that Michael Shannon
[01:16:29] he's such a great actor
[01:16:32] let me check
[01:16:39] you're like
[01:16:40] yeah
[01:16:44] I'll speak when I'm ready
[01:16:46] let me see your
[01:16:50] Thad is anything that we can repeat
[01:16:57] anything you can repeat
[01:17:00] Thad's team
[01:17:01] he says it's destined for a 3 Pete
[01:17:03] well cause he hasn't even won a 1 Pete
[01:17:06] I don't know how you can get to 3
[01:17:09] he did get an A in his draft
[01:17:11] which means absolutely nothing
[01:17:13] as we have learned over the years
[01:17:23] is anyone else tired of hearing Jim bitch about the draft
[01:17:26] order no one cares about their 16th pick anyway
[01:17:30] cry some more Jim
[01:17:31] I don't know what that was all like Jim was upset because it was a 16 round draft
[01:17:35] instead of a 15 round draft and someone about it being odd
[01:17:38] and being unfair for those of us at the end
[01:17:40] I picked 9th he picked 10th
[01:17:43] I saw no problem with it but
[01:17:46] apparently something mathematically didn't add up for him
[01:17:48] I'm not quite sure
[01:17:52] Thad was supposed to be Thad's
[01:17:59] light up night for his Halloween display but he had to push it
[01:18:02] due to weather not quite sure why
[01:18:05] absolutely perfect that side
