[00:00:23] And welcome to episode 614 of the Pittsburgh Nerd Podcast. I'm Sean. And I'm Ian, and this is the only podcast that says. But Sean is unprepared. Yeah. Here we go. Hello? I'm talking. Hello? Who is this? Baxter? Is that you? Baxter? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee.
[00:00:49] Is this Will Chamberlain? I was encouraged to say something. Hello? Hello? Please. Yeah. One of the greatest comedies ever made. Sleepy Pants. Yeah. I'm blaming the weather. That's fair.
[00:01:13] Again, it's that odd thing of we went from like, it's 32 degrees, it's 40 degrees. It's 80 degrees. Yeah. Like, like on a dime. Mother Nature is just like, let's flip that switch. I guess part of it, like, we're talking like, I'm sleepy.
[00:01:41] It's like, I think part of my problem is maybe I'm not drinking enough. Maybe. Maybe. Because it's like, like my muscles feel like, everything feels tight inside of me. Yeah. You know? And so like, I'm like, man, maybe I need to suck down some, some water. Some prune juice. Yeah. Well, something to open me up. I hate prune juice. Only Thad enjoyed that joke.
[00:02:12] I don't even understand prune juice. Ugh. Filthy. It is. So how are you, sir? I'm good. Well, like I said, a little tired today, but. Yeah. Yeah. Hanging in there. Good. Yeah. You didn't watch it anymore? I finished air the wall. Did you? Yeah.
[00:02:35] So that, that was a, that was a killer season finale. Yeah, it was. All right. Man, it's Punisher good. Yeah. Huh? John Barenthal is, is Frank. Yeah. Oh, man. But they're all good. Like, that's the thing. Like, everybody in that cast.
[00:03:04] Who, who like came back from like the original series. Yeah. Is so good. Yeah. You know, like, and it's, like, I heard people like, you know, oh, this wasn't as good. Or, you know, Disney fucked this up. Well, Disney did the first one. The first Daredevil was Disney. Yeah. Like, let's not forget that. This is just a continuation of that story in all honesty. Right.
[00:03:31] Um, the only thing about the series I did not like is they didn't bring his Catholicism fully in the play. Yeah. Like, there should have been moments, like, before he put the suit on where he was talking to his priest. Yeah. Like, it was stuff like that that I kind of missed. And maybe that's Disney Disney-fying it. Like, I want to take the religion aspect out of this.
[00:03:58] But, um, but that was, like, the only thing, like, I, I kind of, like, was like, man, there should have been a moment or two where he, he was talking to, like, you know, his priest or, or somebody like that. Or maybe even his mother. Yeah. You know. Yeah. So. Yeah. Yeah. So there was, there was, there was stuff I liked about it. I mean, probably, I mean, there was a ton of stuff I got. I thought the finale was phenomenal. Right.
[00:04:24] Like, you know, that scene where Fisk is taking out the, the police commissioner. Oh, yeah. That was brutal. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was. I literally, like, I literally shot an oh shit as I watched it. I know. My oh shit moment, believe it or not, came when. And they went to the ball and they came out with a white suit. I was like, was he wearing a white suit?
[00:04:54] Yeah. It was like. Yeah. That's too good. Yeah. The whole dance thing was good. Yeah. It was good. Oh, yeah. I love Bullseye. I love this version of Bullseye. So do I. Huh? So do I. Like. Again, they're just, they're playing it so well. Yeah. Oh, I agree with you. Yeah. 100%.
[00:05:24] I mean, it's, it's really good. Yeah. Like, next season is going to be Mayor Kingpin. Yeah. You know. So good. Yeah. It was a very impressive. I, I was bummed out that it was over. Yeah. Me too. You know, like I was like, I'm not going to get another episode next week. You know. Fuck.
[00:05:51] But, but yeah, it was extremely well done. I enjoyed the shit out of it. Um. I can't wait for the next season. Yeah. It's so good. Yeah. I got was shocked on how good it was. Yeah. And I, they, they suddenly introduced characters too into it too that I didn't, I didn't pick up on until the ball. Yeah. Do you know what I mean?
[00:06:18] Cause I, maybe I had just forgotten about the swordsman. Yeah. But do you know where I'm coming from? Like. Yeah. No, I get what you're saying. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, maybe I just didn't pick it up, but I was like, oh yeah, that's right. I forgot that connection with Hawkeye. You know what I mean? Yeah. I was like, whoa. That's pretty cool. Yeah. So they're weaving their way in.
[00:06:44] It's an interesting way to introduce like D level characters. Yeah. Like, you know, like there's never going to be a swordsman TV show. No. Like you're never going to even get a standalone episode about the swordsman. Yeah. But like the fact that he even exists in the universe. Yeah. Is impressive. Yeah. You know. Like one of the complaints I heard was like, okay, like the power goes out. There's all this looting and stuff. Where was Spider-Man? Well, Spider-Man was probably in Queens.
[00:07:14] Yeah. You know. Yeah. Daredevil was in Manhattan in the Bronx. Yeah. You know, like that's. I'm sure Spider-Man had his own hands full in his district. You know. District, so to speak. The borough. Yeah. You know, so. Like, but like. Like the thing I find interesting is like.
[00:07:42] Where do you draw the line in the Marvel universe between a vigilante. And a superhero. Yeah. I don't know. Like that. Right. Because like. Like you could consider like. The Avengers vigilantes in their own way. No. Yeah. You know. Like are the Avengers not allowed to save New York now? Yeah. You know. I wonder how it's going to play with the Thunderbolts. Like is there going to be an issue with like. Because it looks like.
[00:08:13] You know that. That's all taking place. Or part of it's taking place in New York City. Yeah. How much of an issue is that going to be with the Thunderbolts coming to say the day? Are they considered vigilantes? Right. You know. There's a lot of. Like. Much like the Sokovia Accords. There's a lot of. What Fisk is putting into place. That could have a massive effect on. Yeah. The Marvel universe as a whole.
[00:08:42] Because of how much of it takes place in New York. Right. Yeah. It's a big. It's a big. It's a big person to put in New York. Yeah. I agree. Right. You know what I mean? Like how. You think. Kingpin really stands a chance against the Avengers. Right. You know what I mean? Like. What's he going to do? Like. I guess you could say like. You know. Cap. Sam Wilson at this point. Yeah.
[00:09:12] He's a government employee. I guess. Yeah. You know. Like. There's a lot of like. Oddities of like. The heroes that are still out there. How. How are they. Like. You know. Doctor Strange. Yeah. You know. Like how is he. Looked at by the minions of New York. He's in. He's in New York. Right. Yeah. Yeah. How's that planned? Yeah. Yeah. And how could Strange just let this.
[00:09:42] All this happen? I guess he. If he doesn't know. Right. If he's. If he's. In another. Another plane of existence. Yeah. You know. Where he often is. Right. Exactly. He's got his own problems. I understand that. Yeah. I'm not expecting to be out there. You know. Oh there's. Looting in the streets. Let me come out. No. You know. He's got bigger problems to handle. But. We're just in the cave. Right. But like. It would be that thing though. Of like. Okay.
[00:10:12] Like. Fisk is like. Big on like. You know. How. Vigilantes. Are unwanted in the city of New York. Right. Like are you setting the task force. To. To Strange's house. Yeah. No. There's no chance. No. None. Like. Are you just like. Well. We'll let him go. Because. Yeah. Yeah. Because there's no chance. You're winning that fight. None. Like. Not at all. None. Because. I mean. You know. Like.
[00:10:42] Believe it or not. Kingpin's mortal. So. I mean. Right. You know what I mean. Like. But like. My point is like. He's not like you're going against. Galactus. Yeah. You know what I mean. Right. So. He's just badass. That's all. But badass. Or he's not gonna. You know. Right. Yeah. Your strength kind of means nothing. Because we have a Hulk. Right. You know what I'm saying. Like.
[00:11:13] I don't know. I like it though. Because it's. It's. I like it because there's no like. Real. Superpower. Involvement. There's enhanced abilities. Right. But it's not like. Mutant abilities. Does that make sense? Yes. You know. Because. Just look at. I mean. Look at Bullseye. Yeah. Those are enhanced abilities. Right. Do you know what I mean? Right. They kind of.
[00:11:42] Like Hawkeye. Correct. Yeah. But better. Yeah. Yeah. Even like. The guy that painted. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Muse. That was cool. Because. With Muse. They explained. Oh. He has a degree in Taekwondo. Yeah. Which explained his fighting skills. Right. Does that make sense? It makes sense.
[00:12:20] Yeah. Batman did. Yeah. You know what I mean? Right. So. I like that aspect. Yeah. Of course. Murdoch has. Skills. But. He also has. Enhanced senses. From the. Correct. Whatever took. You know. The green sludge. It took his eyes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But. It's not like you have. Hulk and Thor. Do you know what I mean? Right.
[00:12:50] Like the most real of them all. Or probably what? Hawkeye. Hawkeye. Black Widow. And actually Iron Man. Yeah. He was only good with the suit. Right. He's not going to win a fist fight. Yeah. I mean. That's what you know. The Cap said in the first Avengers. Take that suit away from you. What are you? Yeah. Exactly. So. I mean like. There's that. Right. But I like it. You know. The Kingpin is that badass. You know. And he's. Got this whole squadron of. Comps. Yeah.
[00:13:20] You know. And he's. Pretty much created a. His own state. In many ways. Yes. Yeah. You know what I mean? So. I don't know. I like how the plan was always there. Right. You know what I mean? And that's what the commissioner. Or that's what the police guy was saying too. He's like. He'll always be the Kingpin. Yeah. Like you can't trust him. Right. Yeah. I mean. He was right. You know. Now you see.
[00:13:54] Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was. Well I like how he went from mayor. Right. Yeah. People wanted to please him and stuff like that. Or not please him. To. People in fear. Yeah. That's. You know. That's what he does. Right. You know what I mean? So I like that aspect. You know. The change. Yeah. Dude. When he had all those people in them jail cells.
[00:14:24] I couldn't believe it. I was like. What the. Yeah. Like all those people were in their cells. Yeah. Wow. He's just kidnapped everybody. Yeah. And I knew what he was doing when he was like. Let's talk in the back room. We have some things to discuss. Yeah. I'm like. Oh shit. Now he's. Now he's blackmailing everybody. Right. And he's getting what he wants because he's getting the public funding. Right. You know. And the people that said no.
[00:14:52] He fucking imprisoned him. Right. Well. His own imprisonment. Right. It's pretty badass. That takes a lot of mozzie. It does. Huh? It does. Yeah. It's good dude. I. I like how they've written this story. I do too. I mean. It's just a really. Really. Really well done story. But anyway.
[00:15:23] So. You. You. You touched on just a second there. Did you watch the new trailer for the Fantastic Four? I did not. Okay. Hold on. Let's. Let's. Let's view that. All right. So you just. You just. Watched the trailer for. The Fantastic Four movie. Yeah. It looks good. Yeah. Doesn't look bad at all. Like. No. Things doing what he's supposed to be doing. Yeah. You know. Like grunt work. Pulling the ship.
[00:15:52] Knocking down pillars. Yeah. You know what I mean? And cooking. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It looks really good. Got a little. See a little stretch in there. Yeah. Yeah. You got the finally. Yeah. And it looked good. It did. It didn't look bad. Yeah. The visual effect. Yeah. I mean Johnny's Johnny. That's going to be. Yeah. I wasn't really focusing in on him at all. I mean Johnny Flames. Johnny Flames.
[00:16:22] I mean like he's going to look like Johnny Flames. I always feel like the. Like in those. Chris Evans. Yeah. The Chris Evans. I and Goff. Fantastic Four movies. Yeah. The biggest weakness was. The look of. Mr. Fantastic. When he stretched. Yeah. Like it looked bad. Mm hmm. It never looked good. Right. I feel like. Anytime anybody's tried to do that.
[00:16:52] Like. They create your own character as a stretching ability. It never looks like. Right. Right. And that's. So I. I wonder. Like. That's been my biggest concern with this. Well not the biggest. But one of my big concerns with the movie is. How do you make Mr. Fantastic look right. Right. When he's using his abilities. Right. Right. Um. So that like. But like. The story was interesting. The. You know. You get your first look at the surfer. Right. You know. You got.
[00:17:22] Another. Snippet of Galactus. Yeah. You know. Like. This looks like a fantastic movie. Oh. You know. It does. It looks great. I'm very excited for it. Yeah. And kind of. I like the feel of the. Um. Period. Time period. Yeah. I think that's really cool. Like an alternative timeline. Sixties. Yeah. Yeah. I like that. And they've pulled that off.
[00:17:52] They pulled that off with WandaVision. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Right. Like beautifully actually. I thought. They really encaptured some of those. Time piece moments in that. In that series. Right. Very well. Yeah. You know. Brady Bunchish. Yeah. They just did it very very very well. Yeah. Um. So. I have no qualms about. The time period. It's going to be even more interesting when they're out of time.
[00:18:22] Yeah. Does that make sense? Like when they come to. Yeah. Whatever happens in Doom's going to bring them to our universe. Correct. Yeah. I think that's going to be very interesting because. I mean. Fighting Galactus. I know is a fantastic for event. But it's also an Avengers type of event. Yeah. You know. This is mega. Yeah. This isn't like. You know. This is bigger than. This is Avengers type of stuff. Yeah. But. An Avengers level. But in the 60s.
[00:18:51] It was a Fantastic Four level. Correct. Like that was what the Fantastic Four did. No. I know. Yeah. I mean. Yeah. No. I get it. Right. I'm just saying that. It's more. You know. You know. Doomsday. You know what I mean. Like. Doomsday isn't Doom. But I mean like. Your planet's going to get destroyed. Yeah. You know. We're calling the Fantastic Four. Well. You know. In modern day. It would be the Avengers that you would be calling. Right. Right. Right.
[00:19:20] I mean. Yes. X-Men had some pretty baddies and stuff like that. But. Never on this level. I mean. Not like. Like. Earth's destruction. I'm not even putting Phoenix into it. Because that's just. It was. The X-Men. That was the movie that Sean was in. The X-Men have almost always been their own thing. Yeah. That's what I mean. Like. It's like. They fought Magneto. Yeah. Apocalypse.
[00:19:51] And all that jazz. You know. But it was like. There were. Like. There was never like an event where it was like. Okay. We need to call on the Avengers. Right. You know. No. It was like. We handle our own shit. Yeah. But it's cool to see the four. Hopefully this movie will bring them back into some kind of relevance on their power. Right. Do you know what I mean? Because. In the movies that they made. You never really saw that. It was always like this dramatic struggle. Like. Right. Mostly. You know what I mean? Which is part. Like.
[00:20:30] And then you throw in Wolverine because. You have to. Yeah. But like. It was like. It was always. You know. Charles and Magneto. Well. I mean. Also too. With the. The Wolverine factor is today's Deadpool. Right. Right. Deadpool got really popular. Really quick. Right. And stayed popular. Right. Wolverine got very popular. Right. With the introduction of Wolverine. Right. You know what I mean? But like. That was always the focus of the X-Men movies. We complained about it to a certain extent. Yeah. Like. It was like. You know. Okay.
[00:21:00] Let's move on. There are other relationships. There are other. Stories to be told. Other than the story of these two. Yeah. Like Remy LeBelle. Yeah. Um. But. Oh wow. I got it. But. I feel like with the Fantastic Four. There's always been like. You know. It's the family. It's the struggles of being a family. But also. At that time. Being the world's most powerful superheroes. Yeah. And so much pressure on you. Right.
[00:21:30] And wanting to have a child. Right. You want to have a normal life. But you're. You're the Fantastic Four. Correct. So like. Those movies focus too much on that. Right. Where I feel like. There's probably going to be some of that in this. But. Like Marvel has a way of balancing it out. Yeah. It was never balanced in the other films. No. And hopefully they. It was. Both movies were about them coming together as a team. Both times. Yeah. Figuring it out. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.
[00:22:01] It's pretty much. The Bad News Bears. Yeah. Really? Yeah. So. Like I do like look at this movie. And like with everything that's involved with it. Like I want to see that relationship between. Johnny and Ben. That playful. Yeah. Like you know. Because that was there. That was always there. Right. You know. They pick on each other a little bit. But not like. I mean.
[00:22:31] Chris Evans. Johnny Storm was a dick. He was. He was. Like. And. And it's funny. Because it's like. That's the same guy who went on the play. Like. The most selfless. Character ever. Yeah. Ever. You know. So. It's like. Odd. Like. You know. Wow. What a great actor. You know. I mean. He was a great Captain America. He was. You know. Yeah. So. It is like that odd thing. Like. Wow. You go back and you watch those films. Like. Man.
[00:23:02] Chris Evans' Johnny Storm was a dick. Yeah. I mean. Like. So much so down to. When he said. That is America's ass. Yeah. Some good shit. Oh. Yeah. It's funny. Moving in. Maybe. So. I don't know. I'm. I'm. It looks really impressive to me. It does. That's coming a lot for me. Because. As much as I dislike some of the X-Men movies. Yeah.
[00:23:34] Fantastic Four movies were just. They were bad. Aside from Chiklis. Yeah. Like. Chiklis was like the. The saving grace of those movies. He was. Yeah. You know. I mean. The other characters were forgettable. Yeah. Seriously. They were. So. I don't know. It looks good. Do you feel. I like the robot too. Yeah. Included. The inclusion of Herbie.
[00:24:04] I thought that was like great. Yeah. Yeah. Do you feel. Like. I know you didn't watch Captain America. Right. But you got Thunderbolts coming out. In a couple of weeks. I do like the Thunderbolts. And that looks very very good. Yeah. And then you've got. This coming out. In the middle of summer. Do you feel like Marvel's maybe back on an upswing. Yeah. I think so. Like. We'll see how the Thunderbolts do. Yeah. Um.
[00:24:35] Well. Definitely on an upswing when Daredevil. Most definitely. Yeah. But like. I mean. At the box office. I mean. I agree. I'm just saying. Yeah. Now that they're including things. Right. You know what I mean. Right. Um. Yeah. I think they are on an upswing. It depends on. We'll see how the Thunderbolts do. I think a lot of the Fantastic Four. Depends on the Thunderbolts success. To.
[00:25:03] If you're going into the Marvel way. Right. Do you know what I mean. Like. If you have a stinker in Thunderbolts. Then it's going to. I think it will take ticket sales away from Fantastic Four. But. I mean. Let's just say. It's not a stinker. But people don't show up for it. Like they do. Like. Do you think. Fantastic Four can do. Spider-Man money. No. I don't think. Well. Nah. I don't.
[00:25:33] Did Spider-Man outsell Endgame? No. But. Spider-Man. And like. Spider-Man No Way Home. Did phenomenal. Yeah. But. I mean. That was. A lot of that. Based upon the. The rumor of Tobey Maguire. Andrew Garfield. Being in it. Yeah. Yeah. Like. It was dealing with. Multiversal stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Like. So. I don't know if that. Or. I'm sure. That may have had something to do with it. But like.
[00:26:07] It. Like. I'm not. Like. Like. What I'm looking at is. Can the Fantastic Four be. A standalone franchise. Like Spider-Man can be. Like. X-Men. Yeah. Like. Like. That's what I'm like. Yes. They're going to be in Doomsday. Yes. They're. They're. They're. They're going to be a part of the Marvel Universe going forward. But at the same time. Like.
[00:26:37] Are people going to look at the Fantastic Four as an event that they have to go see. Like a Spider-Man movie. Right. Or are they going to view it more along the lines of. An Ant-Man and Wasp movie. Which is like. Eh. It's cool. Maybe I'll catch it. Or I'll just wait till it comes on Disney. No. I think people will go see Fantastic Four. Okay. It's setting itself up to be a blockbuster. Okay. And you're not seeing. You're not seeing Galactus in the. You're not actually seeing Galactus in the previews either. Right. You see his boot.
[00:27:07] You see the form. Yeah. The shadow. Yeah. The shadow of his head. You know what I mean? Right. So they're not actually showing you Galactus whatsoever. Right. They did show Surfer. Which I like the Surfer. Yeah. So we'll see how that plays. But. Yeah. Looks good. Okay. Yeah. I will probably go see it. I'm definitely going to go see it. Yeah.
[00:27:37] You know what I mean? Yeah. I think something. I think on those epic ones. I think it's important to see them on a big screen. Like I said. They're building this up to be almost an Avengers type movie. Right. A keystone. Correct. Like. It's big. Yeah. I do want to see Thunderbolts. I got that. That movie has always interested me since they announced it. Right. You know. Bucky will be the draw for that. People want to see Bucky.
[00:28:08] And what's her name? People like what's her name too. Yolanda. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's what my thing is. I think people want to see her a lot. Mm. I think they want to. I think they want to see her. With. With. What's your name from Hawkeye though? Oh. Yeah. The girl. Yeah. The girl. Yeah. Yeah. Like I feel like.
[00:28:35] They had such a chemistry relationship in that show. That I think. Like if you gave me a movie with those two. Yeah. I think people would flock to see it. Yeah. But I do. I think people like her. I like that character. I feel like there's. There's enough characters in that. That it's like. You know. They've all been introduced. You kind of know who they are. Now they're coming together. And you have Bucky. Kind of as the linchpin of like.
[00:29:05] This is what we are. Yeah. Yeah. You know. We're going to do the right things. Yeah. So. I like Bucky. I like Bucky too. I like the. I like how he plays him. Yeah. Sebastian Stan plays him very well. I agree. He's good. So.
[00:29:33] I did watch an odd movie. Last night. Okay. It's called Troll. I watched it. Did you? Yeah. It's on Netflix. Yeah. It's Norwegian. Yeah. Yeah. It was basically like. Norwegian's. Verge. A Norwegian version of. Of Godzilla. Yeah. Like. Like. What with fairy tales. Yeah. Yeah. I know. It was okay. It was okay. At the end of it. I was like. That wasn't that bad.
[00:30:03] I thought I watched this. Right. I don't know if I want to sit through a second one. Right. But. This was good enough. Yeah. It was okay. Yeah. I mean. It wasn't great. It wasn't good. No. I don't. You know what I'm saying. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. I just. Like. I kept drawing Godzilla parallels. Because of like. Especially at the end.
[00:30:34] Like. Because you go back to like. The original Godzilla movie. And. You know. When they drop the oxygen destroyer. And they kill Godzilla. Like. Everybody's questioning. Whether they had a. A right to interfere with nature. Yeah. You know. Like. I felt kind of the same way. Like. When they were first. Like. Using like. The artificial sunlight. To take down the troll. And she's like. No. No. No. This isn't right. And then. Unfortunately. The sun rose. Yeah. You know.
[00:31:04] Spoiler alert. But. But it felt the same way. Like. Like. Everybody. Like. What felt like. This is probably the last of their kind. And we have the right to do this. Yeah. Like. They had that moment. Yeah. Kind of like what they did with the original Godzilla. And I like that. Like. So that's why. Like. It's an awful comparison. But it works for me. Because it's like. That's what it felt like. The entire thing. Felt like a. A Godzilla movie. Of like. Like.
[00:31:34] About. Like. You know. Man versus nature. Yeah. Yeah. Now I get it. Like when they. When they go with that theme. Yeah. Which I always enjoy. Yeah. It was okay. Yeah. Yeah. I was. I recommend it. If you're looking for something to watch. It's only an hour and 45 minutes. You know. It wasn't. It didn't drag. Yeah. It moves right along.
[00:32:04] Like. I had to look up. Like. I was like. Does Norway actually have. Armed Forces. You know. Like. Yes. They do. Oh. Okay. I didn't know. So yeah. It was a. It was a good movie. And it. It. It. It was dubbed. So there. There are some moments where you're like. That didn't quite sync up right. Yeah. Right. Right. But. You get past that. Which. I mean. If you're. If you've watched. You know.
[00:32:34] Any foreign film. You've watched it dubbed. You're. You're past that anyway. Right. But yeah. I enjoyed that a lot. Sometimes I'm past it. Sometimes I. I'm not. Yeah. Truly. Sometimes I just. You know. Sometimes I just cannot get past it. Like. If it's really bad. Yeah. If the dubbing is really bad. Like. I'll turn it off. Because I can't stand it. Yeah. At that point.
[00:33:02] I almost much rather watch it subtitled. Yeah. Because sometimes it's really bad. Yeah. Like. Somebody has stopped talking for 30 seconds. And they have to hold the camera on them. While you. You know. Yeah. Or they're. They're. They're. They're speaking. They have to speak so fast. To get it in while that character is speaking. Yeah. You know. Or. Where everything is like a question. Yeah. Yeah. Everything they say is like a question. I'm like.
[00:33:31] Is he going to kill this? Yeah. How can you do this? Oh. Of course he's going to kill me. Like. Yeah. I. Yeah. Some. Like. The Rain. When I watched the Rain. Yeah. Yeah. That dub was good. Yeah. It was. It was actually really good. There's some Korean films that have been pretty good too. Yeah. As far as the dub. But some. Like. Some. You know.
[00:34:00] They're ranked real high. And. I just can't. Yeah. Some of them I just cannot. Yeah. I can't remember that show that I started. That I really like. I cannot. I was trying to tell you about. Yeah. I don't know if it's Chinese. Or if it's actually Korean. Ah. Probably Korean. Okay.
[00:34:29] But the premise is cool. Yeah. Like these. There's these. Seven. People that have been brought back. They're kind of part of the netherworld. Yeah. Like. And they. They keep balance. Yeah. I don't know. Like. When they die. They. They have to die. Like an accidental death. Right. All. A non. Like an unfair death. Right.
[00:34:59] And then they. You get proposed to do this. Right. And I guess these people. Been alive for centuries. You know what I mean? Right. And. Some of their memories have been erased. Some haven't. It's weird. Yeah. But. They kind of go in cycles. But. They said this guy was like. He just stayed there. He just stayed on earth. Yeah. Like he was one of them. And he just stayed there. So they sent him back to go get him.
[00:35:30] To be transported to eternal hell. Or something. Right. Or you know. Decimated. or whatever. So they had to go get him. And the guy. That they went and got. Was one of the actors from Train to Besson. Okay. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Did you see Train? Or no? No. Okay. He was a very popular actor. Right. He was also in. Jesus.
[00:36:01] Anyway. They went to go get this guy. Very popular. And a good actor. Right. And that's why I stayed with it. Because I was like. Yeah. Oh he's in this. Yeah. You know. Because he was so good in Train to Besson. But. Anyway. I just can't remember. But it was. Interesting. Yeah. You know. But the dub was okay. Okay. Hey.
[00:36:30] That's. Yeah. I'm going to find out what the series is. Okay. But I have to look it up by. By an actor. You got to go to Train to Besson. Find the actor. Correct. Yeah. And I have to find. I'm surprised you haven't watched Train to Besson. I've meant to. And then. You know. Just as an actor. I'm surprised.
[00:37:01] Ian searches for the actor. Yeah. I just. He was in the Eternals. That's not how I know him. Okay. TV shows. And it's all out of words. Yeah. Of course.
[00:37:30] Doesn't swallow the song. So while you're searching. I don't know. Okay. Did you watch the Aaron Rodgers interview on Thursday with Pat McAfee? No. I didn't. Okay. Yeah. Essentially what he said is. Right now. His personal life. Is taking his focus away from committing to a football team. Yeah. And.
[00:38:00] My opinion is. If that's the case. You're tired. Yeah. Like. Like. I understand. Like he's talking about like. You know. There's something major happening in his life with somebody in his inner circle. Right. And. I understand. Like that. But. Sorry. Sorry. You're 41 years old. You've been in the league for 20 years. You're. Like. If.
[00:38:30] If this is where your head is. And I understand like. You know. Your personal life is your personal life. I'm not criticizing him for. For this. Right. But. Like. To me. Like you're retired. And if I'm the Steelers. I am moving on. Right. Right. Like. No disrespect to him. But it's like. We have to prepare for the season. Right. Like you don't know when you're going to commit. We've got the draft coming up. Like. You know. We don't know what.
[00:38:59] What we need. Right. Because of you. Like. So. Like. And I'm not saying this. You should be trying to draft a quarterback in the first round. God. No. Like. I just have learned my lesson. Like. It. Like. People are talking about like Jackson Dart. You know. He's a first round guy. And. Um. The kid from Alabama. Got invited to the. To the draft by the NFL.
[00:39:30] Like. Jalen Melrose. And it's like. That thing of like. Man. I saw this a few years ago. With the Kenny Pickett draft. I. I mean. Do not get desperate. Just because you need a quarterback. Yeah. You know. Like. Maybe you draft one in the third round. If there's somebody there you like. Yeah. But. Like. I'm just not. Like. I'll run it back with Mason Rudolph. Yeah. You know.
[00:40:01] In all honesty. Like. That's how I feel at this point. Like. It's like. You know. Let's run it back with Mason Rudolph. Maybe. If Atlanta. Decides to. To cut. Kirk Cousins. You. You pick him up. Maybe. You know. Yeah. But like. They're. They're just. It's an odd thing. And. Like. I know Mike T. He probably feels like. Man. I get Kirk. If I can get Aaron Rodgers.
[00:40:31] I'm a Super Bowl winner. Yeah. And. Like. I'm like. I don't know. You know. Yeah. And. Like. You know. Mason's going to get you nine wins. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like. You focus on other areas. Yeah. You draft. Maybe. You draft a tack. Or a guard. I don't know. Like. But you have to focus on other areas.
[00:41:00] You get a defensive tackle. You know. There's a lot of other holes. That you can focus on. And then. Maybe next year. When the draft class is a bit better. Yeah. A bit deeper at the quarterback position. You go and you make a big move for a quarterback. Yeah. But. Like. I'm just not seeing it. And. I said. You just.
[00:41:30] At this point. Like. I would just tell Aaron Rodgers. Hey. I appreciate your position. I appreciate. You know. You saying. You can't commit yourself. Mm. But we have to move on. Yeah. Drafts coming up too. The draft is coming up. OTAs are coming up. Like. In all honesty. We're three months away from training camp. Yeah. You know. Like. It's. It's time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like. You know. And.
[00:42:02] Like. I feel bad for Aaron Rodgers. But like. You can't have one foot in the grave. And one foot out. Yeah. You know what I mean. Like. You're either all in. Or you're all. All out. And it sounds to me like he's all out. Yeah. Because if you're thinking that way. Like. Was it. Bill Parcells used to say. Like. Once you start thinking about retirement. You're retired. Yeah. Yeah. True.
[00:42:32] Bring Ben back. You know. I would not be a puss. He can get you nine wins. You know. Yeah. You just can't move. Yeah. That's. That's Ben's only problem. Like. You know. Don't ask him to run. Yeah. Yeah. That hitch in his giddy up. Has become a big hitch. But. It's a shame. Well. I mean. That's what happens when you. Like. It's gonna.
[00:43:01] It's gonna sound hypocritical to me. But that's what happens when you play the game. The way Ben played the game. Yeah. Like. You know. You can't go from wearing a walking boot on Friday. To. You know. Just taping it up on Sunday. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like. It's. And I respect him. Like. A hundred percent. Like. I salute that performance. Like. I salute. You know. You. You sucking it up. And playing through pain. The way you did. Yeah.
[00:43:32] But at the same time. Like. You. You know. You. You kind of like. Have to say. Like. Well. You know. When you. When you see the guy. Kind of like. Walking with a bit of a. A limp. Oh. There's a reason for that. Yeah. You know. Time will tell. Yeah. But. When's the draft? Next weekend. Next weekend. Thursday. Friday. Saturday. Here. Pittsburgh. No. Next year's in Pittsburgh. No. I thought this year was in Pittsburgh. No. This year's in Green Bay.
[00:44:02] Next. Next year is Pittsburgh. That's cool. Will you go down for the draft? No. Neither will I. I have no interest. There's a time where I would have been interested. Yeah. Like. Like 15 years ago. I would have been like. Fuck yeah.
[00:44:31] I'm going out for all three nights. Yeah. You know. Today Sean is like. Yeah. I ain't. I ain't doing that. I am not dealing with that crowd. Right. You know. Mm-hmm. 50,000 people down on the north side. That just does not sound entertaining at all. Yeah. I don't. I would. I don't think I'd do it. No.
[00:45:01] I'm not going to. I just don't have any interest in my. I don't know. Like. I mean. There was a time where I. Like. I always wanted to go to New York for the draft. Yeah. Like. I always wanted to do that. I always thought that would be cool. Like. Yeah. Go to New York for the draft. Like. And that was back when it was like. Saturday and Sunday. All fucking day. Yeah. Yeah. You know. I always thought that would be cool. Yeah. But. Now.
[00:45:30] Like. Even going down for like. The. Like. Rounds. Four through seven on Saturday. Just sounds like. Exhausting. Okay. It's a funny. Yeah. Find a place to park. Yeah. And you haven't paid to park wherever you're fucking parking. Yeah. And then. You know. Who knows how far you have to travel from that parking spot to get to the event. Yeah. And then. Yeah. It just. It all. It's just. The convention center. I. They haven't announced where they're actually having it.
[00:46:00] I mean. My thought process would be. It would be on the North Shore. Yeah. Like. That makes the most sense. Like. You have it down there in front of the stadium. Or. On the side of the stadium. You know. Because you have all that parking area. That you just. You turn into the. The event area. Yeah. Like. All that gold parking. Yeah. And then. You know. You've got the city to the side. Like. So you got like. Plenty of great shots for ESPN.
[00:46:29] And the NFL network. To get pictures of the city and stuff. Yeah. Overall. Like. It's like. There's nowhere downtown to really do it. Right. Like. You know. Like. There's. There's nowhere. Like. I mean. Unless you like. Shut down. Like. The south side. And like. Did it from like. There. But I mean. Like. That's a major.
[00:47:00] Yeah. Throwaway. So it's just. It becomes that thing. Of like. Well. Where's the best place to do it. Well. Somewhere on the north shore. Like. You know. They could probably even do it in the fucking stadium. Yeah. You know. Could. I don't know either. You should know it paints. Well.
[00:47:29] They're usually outdoor events. Okay. Like. They'll do. Like. If you look at what they've been doing. Like. Like. It's always like. Like. In Kansas City. It was in front of like. The big train station. And. I can't remember what they did in Philly. Um. You know. Uh. Detroit. A couple years ago. It was. You know. In a major.
[00:47:59] Area. Like. It. It's always like this outdoor event. Where they basically shut part of the city down. Yeah. To do it. So like. I'm looking at it. Like. Like. Like. Market Square is not that big. Yeah. Like. There's nowhere big enough that you could like. In the city where you can be like. Okay. This is where we're doing it. Except for the north shore. Yeah. You know. Like. I can see where you could. You know. Like. Like I said. You just shut down the north shore. Like. Between the stadiums.
[00:48:29] And. You just. You know. You build your. Your pavilion and everything. It covers everybody. And. Then you just kind of like. Let. Everybody filter in from there. Yeah. But. I mean. The places that have held it. I mean. It's. They're talking like. You know. 150,000 people total. Yeah. Showing up for these things. Yeah. Like. You watch. You. Especially like night one.
[00:48:59] Yeah. Like. It is just a sea of people. Yeah. You know. Money that'll burn. It would. It absolutely would. Like. People travel for this. This is an event that people travel for. Yeah. So. Yeah. I mean. It's going to bring. Big money to the city. And. I mean. It's a great thing. You get it once every. 32 years or something. Yeah. You know. But. It's just. It's that thing. It's like. Whew.
[00:49:30] No. Thank you. Right. Right. Right. There's some Star Wars stuff. I'm having a hard time keeping track of what's going on. Yeah. Because they're doing. It's. It's. It's. Star Wars celebration in Japan. Uh huh. So like. They're announcing stuff at like. Two o'clock in the morning. Nice. You know. And I'm like. Now I'm trying to keep up and try to find it. I.
[00:49:59] I know they announced you're going to do a mall. Cartoon. Uh huh. Uh huh. And uh. They released some stuff from. Like just stills from. The Mandalorian and Groku. Mm. And they announced that they're going to be doing a. A. A starfighter film. For 2027. Starring Ryan Gosling.
[00:50:30] A Soka season two. Is. Has begun production. Mm. Mm. And uh. That's all I could think of off the top of my head. Okay. Because this has been difficult. Because it's like I said. Like you know. Because usually you like go on Twitter or something. You could like. It's like. This was just announced. This was just announced. This was just announced. So with it coming out like. One two o'clock in the morning. It's like. Oh.
[00:50:59] How did I miss this? Right. You know. So. I do have a write in from our good friend. Super fan Thad. Okay. Um. He writes in. It's time. Again for. Super fan Thad's Kennywood review. Wow. What a sight.
[00:51:29] Kennywood is looking amazing again this year. The coasters were a screaming. The turtles were a bobbing. And super fan Thad. Was enjoying. Himself. In a non-perverted type way. On the Kitty Land train. Okay. What a nostalgia for Kennywood. To bring back the classics. On the new Kennywood railroad. Okay. I heard they were. They were going away from the Thomas the Tank engine stuff to. Oh really? Yeah. Back to. The old school Kennywood ride.
[00:51:59] Okay. Uh. They had. The old Kitty. And adult turnpike cars. A log from the log jammer. Um. They even brought back that stationary train with the rolling track. I was in love. Thank you Kennywood. I mean Dolly Parton. Hmm. What a great time I had. I was first on the racer for the day. I think I was even. Uh. No.
[00:52:28] This was one heck of an experience for all the good boys and girls and adult boys and girls. Thank you Kennywood for caring about my experience. I bet eat an even soulless. Evil soulless villain Grinches like Sean would actually smile if he went. Um. Um. I got to eat some of my favorite things. Some potato patch fries and gravy. Okay. And I washed it down with some free lemonade in my souvenir cup.
[00:52:59] I also had some pulled pork tacos. And the dipped ice cream cone. Uh. Nobody needs to know about that. The park was clean and safe. No. I'm not getting into all that. Uh. Thank you Kennywood for caring about my experience. Okay. Well. That is Thad's paid endorsement. For Kennywood. Yeah. I mean literally this is what.
[00:53:29] Thank you Kennywood for my wonderful experience. It was amazing. I just had no so far into Kennywood's asshole. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. But I mean this is. Up there. Yeah. This is being a corporate shill if I've ever heard it. Right. So. I will say like.
[00:53:59] The day he went. Unlike today which is like. 85 degrees outside and sunny. Like he went last Sunday. And it was like. 40 degrees. Okay. So like. That. Those potato patch fries with the brown gravy. They made sense. You had to warm yourself up. Yeah. You know. Sitting there. Wearing gloves and shit. So.
[00:54:27] Any other day you talk about having the potato patch fries. I'm like you know. That's got to be sitting wrong in your tummy. That can't be good. In your tummy. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well.
