[00:00:04] [SPEAKER_08]: It's time to feel the rage! Welcome to Film Rage, where we talk movies in theatre, streaming,
[00:00:12] [SPEAKER_08]: and classic films as well. Directors and actors beware, as you cannot hide from the rage. My
[00:00:17] [SPEAKER_08]: name is Bryce and I'm part of the Film Rage crew, which also includes Jim. Hey there,
[00:00:22] [SPEAKER_08]: Jim.
[00:00:22] [SPEAKER_04]: What? Oh, hey, hey, hey, Bryce!
[00:00:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Hey, hey. And Murray, you're sporting a Calgary Underground Film Festival shirt today.
[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Is there any special reason or just happened to be the one on top in your drawer?
[00:00:35] [SPEAKER_02]: The one that was semi-clean.
[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Ah, semi-clean.
[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Top of the pile.
[00:00:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Did you do the smell test?
[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Nice!
[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_08]: So it didn't smell so bad.
[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It didn't stick together when he pulled it up, so...
[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, sticky clothes are the worst.
[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Most of mine are sticky.
[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I hear you.
[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_08]: So with the introductions out of the way...
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's rage on.
[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, thanks to all the supporters.
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_04]: If you love our independent podcast, please like, subscribe, share, and give us a five-star

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_04]: at BuyMeACoffee.com forward slash Film Rage YYC.
[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_04]: If you cannot commit to a membership, you can still buy us a movie rental and dare
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_04]: us to see a terrible film.
[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_04]: And we'll watch it if it played anywhere in the world.
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_04]: And just throwing some of these out there for you.
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_04]: We really don't like conversion films, kids movies, rom-coms.
[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, just a few ideas.
[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_08]: Why are you giving them ideas?
[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm fine when they're...
[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm just loading...
[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm fine when they're...
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_08]: You know what?
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_08]: I used to be totally against them giving us stuff that I enjoy and now I'm like,
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't care.
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_04]: You just want to...
[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Are things directed by a guy named Knight?
[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Or, you know, here's the thing.
[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Dana just now spoiled us.
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_04]: So, we expect everything that we get dared now to be something that's fabulous.
[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_04]: That's awesome.
[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, gushing about.
[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Right, well, you know what?
[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's get to Raging!
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Alright.
[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_05]: Man!
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_05]: It comes now, better watch out kids.
[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_05]: He is coming swimming to you.
[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_05]: Swim, Murray!
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_05]: Swim, swim, Murray!
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_09]: Swim, Murray!
[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_09]: Swim, swim, Murray!
[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_09]: Swim, Murray!
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_09]: Swim, swim, Murray!
[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Turn it up, William.
[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_04]: This is good stuff.
[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Swim, Murray!
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna seriously cut this off.
[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Alright, so there are three movies.
[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So, TWA!
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Which Jim saw all three in the same day.
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_08]: I did!
[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_08]: That's the way you do it.
[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_08]: That's how you do it.
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Money for nothing?
[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Jim's no lightweight.
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_08]: That's right.
[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Three's a minimum.
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I should have gone home after the first one.
[00:03:21] What?!
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Judging by the fact that I almost had to swim home in my car.
[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Ooh, that's a whole other story.
[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a whole other story.
[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm anxious to see how Bryce got home.
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Did you even get home?
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh yeah, it was easy.
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_08]: No problemo.
[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_08]: I was driving a smart car.
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_08]: I had no problems.
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Did you just put a sail on it and just...
[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Nah, I just plowed through, man.
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm in a smart car.
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_08]: You can't stop those things.
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You're in a tiny smart car.
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Well they're all tiny.
[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: The puddles were like three feet high.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I just plowed through.
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_08]: I was fine.
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what you're talking about.
[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Is there a stretch smart car?
[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_08]: No, there's no such thing as a stretch smart car.
[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Like, like...
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Far as I know they're all smart for two.
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Like there's no other model.
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Because you know how...
[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_04]: What's that other one?
[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_04]: The Austin Minis have like a stretch version.
[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_02]: They do have like a wagon version.
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So smart just didn't...
[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Have you ever seen a smart car that doesn't look like another smart car?
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_04]: No, but I don't...
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_08]: No, they all look the same.
[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_08]: But that doesn't mean they don't have them in the group.
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so if any European listeners are listening to us,
[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_04]: because that's where smart cars originated from,
[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_04]: let us know if there's a stretch...
[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Imagine a stretch limo smart car.
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I've been to England, I've never saw one.
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_04]: There we go.
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyways, it's a fine automobile.
[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_02]: In reverse order, almost.
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_02]: But we actually saw them.
[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_02]: A kneecap, which is the one I didn't see.
[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_02]: The trailer looked kind of interesting.
[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I had Fospender in it, which I didn't know.
[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Fospenda.
[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Fospenda.
[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And a bunch of people who...
[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Speaking Irish!
[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_02]: My favorite part of the whole trailer was one character says,
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Do I look like I want to read subtitles?
[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly why I wouldn't have gone to see it.
[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Makes me think of humor.
[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. That's my character right there.
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it would be fun.
[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's go double Mando on the movie.
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Alright.
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Mando Mando.
[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_02]: We have Harold and the Purple Crayon.
[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Which I confirm was a kids movie based on a kids book.
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Starring like the world's biggest kid.
[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Zachary Levi.
[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Shazam!
[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Shazam.
[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_08]: And Zoe Deschanel.
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_08]: It had...
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Refuses to grow up.
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It had its moments.
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it was a Mando, so let's go double Mando.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Alright.
[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And the one that I am absolutely 100% certain of.
[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause I was there with both of you.
[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You experienced both of us.
[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I experienced it with you.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, trap.
[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_02]: My god.
[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Double rage.
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it only going to be...
[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_02]: If you gave it anything higher than a rage, I will be shocked.
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: You'll be going liar!
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Liar!
[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I will let your dog eat my notes.
[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Put it that way.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause I know he likes that so much.
[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_08]: He loves the paper.
[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_08]: He's like give me paper.
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_08]: I'll eat it.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_08]: I have a prediction.
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's going to be a trifecta on that one.
[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Wow.
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Wow.
[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_08]: This is groovy.
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_04]: You know what?
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_04]: If we could only rap in Irish.
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_08]: I know, right?
[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I kind of want to learn how to rap in Irish.
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Sounds hard.
[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Like they do in kneecap.
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_08]: I'd love to learn but it sounds too hard.
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_04]: It's Irish.
[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what it is.
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_08]: At any rate.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Kneecap.
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_08]: This is the story of an Irish hip hop act called kneecap.
[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Then in their own unique way is keeping the Irish language alive.
[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Predictably this does not sit well with most Irish language activists
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_08]: as kneecaps lyrics celebrate their use of drugs
[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_08]: plus they feel that kneecap writing Brits out on their ass cheeks
[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_08]: may not be the best way to get their point across.
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_08]: Although I would imagine that kneecap may argue
[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_08]: but that singing traditional songs in school
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_08]: from hundreds of years ago
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_08]: that the students have little interest in
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_08]: may not be doing much to keep the Irish language alive either.
[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_08]: And perhaps hundreds of young folks screaming kneecaps lyrics
[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_08]: out in the Irish language at the top of their lungs
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_08]: at sold out shows
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_08]: may be doing more to keep the Irish tongue alive
[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_08]: than any language activists may ever hope to achieve.
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_08]: There is a lot of humor and a lot of heart in kneecap story.
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_08]: The three members of kneecap play themselves
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_08]: which added an authenticity to the project
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_08]: and having them share the big screen with professionals
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_08]: such as Michael Fauspender
[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Michael Fauspender
[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_08]: and Simone Kirby
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_08]: helped elevate everyone involved.
[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_08]: This film shows that kneecap is a movement
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_08]: it is a statement that challenges the powers it be
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_08]: it is a message about free speech
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_08]: and it's essential to keeping the Irish language alive.
[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_08]: All of that is wrapped up in this concept.
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_08]: This was an important movie
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_08]: but it was also a load of fun.
[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_08]: It made me laugh.
[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_08]: It got me angry.
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_08]: It made me think
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_08]: and it taught me a few things along the way.
[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Kneecap was Mondo.
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Nailed it!
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_04]: So far.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Alright.
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Rap meets Ireland
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_04]: meets colonial oppression.
[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_04]: These young Irish boys
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_04]: give a middle finger to the colonial oppression
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_04]: in this fast paced, fast tongued
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_04]: and fast movie about the formation
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_04]: of the hip hop Irish band
[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_04]: called Kneecap as Bryce has already said.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Not a fan, usually, of rap or hip hop
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_04]: but when you can see the origin
[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_04]: of where a movement comes from
[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_04]: it adds to the support
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_04]: and also the support it can gather
[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_04]: and also my appreciation for the cause
[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_04]: just like original hip hop
[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_04]: and how I originally felt about original hip hop
[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_04]: and when it came out
[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I was a fan.
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not a fan anymore
[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_04]: but I was a fan when it originally came out.
[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_04]: This music made me want to get up and sing
[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_04]: traditional rap about taking drugs
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_04]: and telling the brits to fuck off
[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_04]: like all that shit
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_04]: which is good stuff
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_04]: like good good good stuff.
[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_04]: The movie was so much fun
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_04]: and intellectually written
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_04]: it's definitely a movie
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I can see myself watching again and again
[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_04]: and being a beacon
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_04]: for this new trend
[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_04]: seemingly taking hold of the world these days
[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_04]: for fighting for one's culture
[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and not allowing colonial rule to win.
[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_04]: So I want to make a little bit of a comment here
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_04]: because I was at our Heritage Festival
[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_04]: on Monday.
[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_04]: So interestingly enough
[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_04]: we've seen a few movies
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_04]: that have come out in the last little while
[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_04]: obviously with the same subtext
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_04]: of let's save our language
[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_04]: let's save our culture
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_04]: and it was interesting in that movie
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_04]: that they talked about
[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it was every so many minutes
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_04]: there's another language that dies
[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_04]: so I mean yeah
[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_04]: as Canadians here
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_04]: we've seen it significantly
[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_04]: in our indigenous cultures
[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_04]: and how important that language
[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_04]: and it's not just about language though
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_04]: like it's about the culture
[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_04]: when you lose a language
[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_04]: the culture is absorbed into the colonial rule
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_04]: so there is a movement now about this
[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: and to see this come to life on screen
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_04]: was
[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_04]: and I don't say this very often
[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_04]: and I didn't know that those were the original artists
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_04]: which made it even more poignant
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_04]: those are the guys
[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_04]: those are the guys that made it
[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_04]: so I totally love this movie
[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I was so immersed in this story
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_04]: and Fastbender's character is amazing in this
[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_04]: like Fastbender is one of the son's fathers
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_04]: who was actually internationally known
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_04]: for being one of the most notorious
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't even want to call him a terrorist
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_04]: because he's trying to save his culture
[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_04]: and these are the movements that
[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_04]: this wasn't that long ago
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_04]: like Mecap hasn't been around for
[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_08]: no it was 2018 I think
[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_08]: yeah it's like six years ago
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_04]: they're still not allowing their own language
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_04]: to be spoken in their own country
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_04]: like this stuff is insane
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_04]: this film I think is a must for everyone
[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_04]: and for people who even don't like hip-hop
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_04]: if you watch the story and don't come out of it going
[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I want to rock up with my cock out
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_04]: like these guys do
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_04]: then you're insane
[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_04]: this movie was exceptionally Mondo
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I loved it
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_04]: it may be one of my favorite movies on
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_04]: music on film films that I've seen
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_08]: I want to see these guys act again too
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I want to see them live
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_04]: why aren't these guys touring
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_04]: why can't we see these guys live in Calgary
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I want to understand a freaking word they're saying
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_04]: and thank God they had subtitles for the whole movie
[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_08]: but yeah no for first time actors they were tremendous
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_08]: and they really were and it really was anchored by
[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_08]: by the parents fast pander and Kirby playing the parents of
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_08]: one of them I'm not sure which but
[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_04]: the one that didn't have this at the haircut
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_08]: right
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_08]: so they really
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_08]: every time they were on screen it really anchored this movie
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_08]: and it just made everything better
[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_08]: I was actually really impressed with Simone Kirby
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_08]: who plays the mom she was so good in this too
[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_08]: just a really really good movie
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_08]: and it's great when
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_08]: when really good movies are also important
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_08]: movies and that's the case this time
[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_08]: there's cases where there's important movies
[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_08]: that are bad movies
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_08]: like buddy
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_08]: your favorite director directed last year
[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_08]: that was an important movie
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_08]: no no
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_04]: my second favorite director
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_04]: oh my god
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_08]: it's an important movie
[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_04]: but don't be
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_04]: it was not a good movie
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_08]: and it also wasn't executed well
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_08]: and it didn't make you feel anything
[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_08]: this just hit home so much
[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_08]: I just love this movie
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I was going to say
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_04]: the commitments
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_04]: so
[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_04]: it has not like you've seen the commitments
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Hamer so the commitments
[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_04]: it's nothing like the commitments
[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_04]: but as I was watching it
[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm like
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_04]: well one of the commitments also Irish
[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_04]: okay I think or Scottish
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_04]: there's somewhere from over in the UK
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_04]: but what made me think about it is
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm comparing it in my mind
[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_04]: to say like
[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I remember seeing the commitments
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_04]: and I was like okay whatever
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a real thing
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't feel the same way when I saw the commitments
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_04]: as I saw this
[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_08]: me neither
[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_04]: and I don't know if it was because the movie was bad
[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_04]: because I saw it when it first came out
[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_04]: but yeah it was
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like woohoo
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_04]: the commitments
[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_04]: but I was woohoo
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: kneecap when I got out of this movie
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_01]: that was a long way to get to where I was trying to say
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I want to say no
[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_01]: the commitments didn't make me go woohoo
[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_08]: that's fantastic
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_04]: okay well thank God
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_08]: imagine if I said the wrong thing
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_08]: that would be the worst
[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_08]: anyways go see kneecap
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah see it if you can see it anywhere
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_04]: and one movie that we I had talked about
[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_04]: on social media that we were
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_04]: hopefully going to see
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_04]: which maybe Bryce's rage this week
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_04]: and I don't know
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_04]: but the Coleman Domingo film sing saying
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_04]: did not come to our city
[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_08]: it's still
[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_08]: it's got a staggered release
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_08]: so I think it's still coming
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_04]: well let's cross our fingers
[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_04]: but it hit other Canadian cities
[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_08]: it had a limited release
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_08]: and then it's got a few release dates
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_08]: so it's coming
[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_04]: it's like talked about
[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_04]: in the news
[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_04]: so why aren't you pushing that out
[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_04]: like push
[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_08]: we get that all the time
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_04]: for what's our nexus
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_08]: it gets released in Montreal, Toronto
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_08]: and Vancouver and then it gets the rest
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_08]: of Canada and I don't understand
[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_08]: why that's a thing but
[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_08]: whatever
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_04]: apparently because in the movie we saw
[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_04]: last
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_04]: on the weekend
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_04]: there was only us there
[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe that's what their expecting is going to happen to sing sing
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know there's a lot of buzz
[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_08]: with sing sing this one just kind of snuck up
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_08]: on us I didn't even know what was coming out
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_08]: and then all of a sudden it's like oh we're going to kneecap
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_04]: it's like you just got slapped in the kneecaps
[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_08]: and then I felt foolish because I didn't even know who kneecap was
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_08]: and after watching the movie I'm like how did I not
[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_08]: know this
[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was about Nancy Kerrigan
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: the Irish version of Nancy
[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_02]: oh
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_08]: yes that was actually pretty good
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Murr
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_08]: I gotta give you credit for that one
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_08]: necap the Nancy Kerrigan story
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_02]: no they did Tonya Harding already
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_05]: now we did now we need Nancy
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_08]: but I only want to see it if it's called
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_08]: kneecap
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah kneecap 2
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_04]: the kerrigan
[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_04]: so we also
[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_04]: saw a kids movie as Murray has already
[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_04]: dropped a hint I don't even know
[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_08]: what it was was it a kids movie
[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_04]: this was Harold and the purple
[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_08]: crayon I don't know any kid that would
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_04]: sit through that well then you weren't in the same
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_04]: cinema that we were we had lots of kids
[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Harold and the purple crayon
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_04]: a famous kids book
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_04]: about a young boy who creates
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_04]: a world with his magic crayon
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_04]: including his best friends porcupine
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_04]: and moose
[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_06]: but
[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_04]: in this he loses his narrator
[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_04]: because he died
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_04]: so he goes to the real world
[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_04]: to find him when he arrives
[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_04]: he moose
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_04]: and porcupine
[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_04]: it's right
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Murray is right here Murray is on fire today
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_04]: where was it
[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_04]: oh yeah so when he arrives
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_04]: moose
[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a good game
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_01]: moose
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_01]: porcupine
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_02]: that's moose right there
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_01]: it's
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_01]: become real people and they
[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_04]: fall in with Zoe Deschanel
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_04]: and her son Mel apparently also
[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_04]: after their father
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_04]: slash husband passed away
[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_04]: in this
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_04]: oh what a parallel
[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_04]: in this life which seems to be
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_04]: a shambles
[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_04]: this is one of those films
[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_04]: that I feel would fit well
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_04]: with children between 5 and 10
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_04]: it's focused in an imaginary world
[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_04]: where a purple crayon
[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_04]: can solve all your problems
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_04]: and create new ones as
[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_04]: we find out
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_04]: by our villain in this
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_04]: library Gary
[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_04]: played by the hilarious Jermaine Clement
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_04]: who as usual
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_04]: is hilarious in this
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_04]: if I check my mind at the door
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_04]: and don't look for all the flaws that are inherent
[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_04]: in this film and just sit back
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_04]: and enjoy the funny bits
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_04]: and there are quite a few
[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_04]: both me and the 8 year old boy
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_04]: who was also in the cinema at the same time
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_04]: seemed to laugh
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_04]: at the points parts that we were supposed to
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_04]: although there are
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_04]: a few and I'm putting this in quote
[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_04]: adult humor items
[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_04]: that I laughed at that he didn't get though
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_04]: was there
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah I guess cause
[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I laugh but no one else did
[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I laugh
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_04]: what's happening
[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_04]: what's happening on my phone
[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_04]: like what the heck
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_04]: um
[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_04]: alright now where was I
[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_04]: oh examples like
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_04]: mine's bigger when Harold and library Gary
[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_04]: have a dick measuring contest
[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_04]: oh sorry I mean a crayon measuring contest
[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_04]: you know cause Gary's inadequate
[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah
[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_04]: he's library Gary
[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_02]: weird obsession with Zoe de Chanel
[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_02]: unfortunately they
[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_02]: making her a disina
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_04]: unfortunately
[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_04]: although there is enough funny things in here
[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_04]: for adults as long as you don't
[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_04]: look at all the gaping holes in the story
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_04]: that conveniently happen cause you know
[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_04]: it's an imaginary world
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_04]: and like most kids stories
[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_04]: has a happy ending
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_04]: that being said I found it weird
[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_04]: that again we have a story
[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_04]: that has
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_04]: death in the story somewhere
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_04]: which I'm not sure why
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_04]: there are so many kids stories lately
[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_04]: for kids
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_04]: that want to throw dead people
[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_04]: is that
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_04]: normally should fuck up kids
[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_04]: or moose or porcupine
[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_04]: but the stories they're telling
[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_08]: people were throwing dead people on this I missed that
[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_04]: no they just the stories
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_04]: the stories lately there's been like
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_04]: there's been like 3
[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_04]: there's been like 3
[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_08]: they weren't actually physically throwing dead people
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_08]: cause I would have remembered that scene
[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe not enough
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_04]: um
[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah I just don't know why
[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I just don't know why
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_04]: they need to keep throwing dead people in these kids
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't get it
[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_08]: I didn't recognize this was a kids
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_08]: movie so
[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_04]: not always does shit work out
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know who it was made for
[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah well I'm telling you it's 5 to 10 year old boys
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe girls too
[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_04]: not always does shit work out when people die
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_04]: and definitely kids
[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_04]: and spouses
[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_04]: don't just go back to normal when people die
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_04]: all that being said
[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't hate it
[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_04]: cause I laughed at most of the places I was supposed
[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_04]: to laugh at either as a kid
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_04]: or an adult
[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I would give it a pretty low meh
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I think if you're gonna take your kids to it
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_04]: be prepared it is very kid focused
[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_04]: and very imaginary
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_08]: I think they'll fall asleep
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_08]: no actually they won't
[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_08]: they'll just be
[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_08]: they'll be trying to make their own fun
[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_08]: cause there's none on the screen
[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_02]: that's right and drive
[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_04]: the 8 year old boy
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_04]: that was sitting right behind us
[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_04]: was laughing at all the things that I was laughing at
[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_04]: really
[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't hate it, it was meh
[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_08]: the opening animated sequence was great
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_08]: and had me thinking that perhaps this film would not be so bad
[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_08]: but then they got to the real world
[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_08]: and the silliness of it all was
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_08]: just too overwhelming
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_08]: in what world would you let a couple of strange men
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_08]: that you just met stay the night
[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_08]: and in a world where we were trying to get kids
[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_08]: to read books why are we making the library
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_08]: and the villain in this
[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_08]: although I do not imagine any kid would have
[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_08]: the patience to get through this nonsense
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_08]: or perhaps that is so
[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_08]: perhaps that wasn't such a big deal
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_08]: I really not sure who this was made for
[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't imagine any kid finding this engaging
[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_08]: and the same can be said for any adult
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_08]: but I did like Moose
[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_08]: who was played by Lil Rel Halvery
[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_08]: who continues to be the best thing in every film he is in
[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_08]: I also like Tanya Reynolds
[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_08]: alright Murray
[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_08]: as Porcupine
[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_08]: but Zachary Levi
[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_08]: as Harold was not so good
[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_08]: and I think Zoe Deschanal
[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_08]: needs to reinvent herself
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_08]: as her adorable quirkiness of years gone by
[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_08]: is truly a thing
[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_08]: of the past
[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_08]: as she has gotten older
[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_08]: and I would rather not talk about Jermaine Clement
[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_08]: as he is so much better than this
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Harold in the purple crayon
[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_08]: was a misdirected pile
[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_08]: of nothingness
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_08]: it was a rage
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_04]: what but you like the Porcupine
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_08]: I like Moose the best
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah and you like the Moose
[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_04]: usually that's enough for you to go on
[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_02]: what's his name?
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Shadow's Guy
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_02]: you like him?
[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Shadow's Guy
[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_08]: I already said that I don't want to talk about Jermaine Clement
[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_08]: because he is better than this
[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_07]: it was still good
[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_07]: now you are making me talk about him and I don't want to
[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_07]: because I like him
[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_07]: he is library Gary
[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_07]: why are we making him a villain
[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_02]: he wasn't the villain he just was misunderstood
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah he was misunderstood
[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_04]: he got to live at the end
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_08]: they made the library look like
[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_08]: a horrible place to go
[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_08]: isn't it?
[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_08]: okay
[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_02]: who reads books I don't read books
[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess
[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_02]: no your audience
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_02]: people that have e-readers they don't go to the library anymore
[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm looking around this
[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_04]: that Bryson's house and I see a lot of
[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_04]: digital media
[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_04]: but I don't see an entire
[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_04]: wall of books
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_04]: you know what our library
[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_04]: he is trying to find a book
[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_04]: oh he's got one
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_04]: book in his entire house
[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_08]: not only a book but it's partly
[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_08]: in French
[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_08]: oh there you go
[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_04]: wee wee
[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_04]: he's got one book and 7000
[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_04]: movies
[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_07]: would you like me to read a section from it?
[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_07]: no not really
[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_07]: I'd rather watch this
[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_08]: I love you especially in the morning on an empty stomach
[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_08]: a dream stuck to the roof of my mouth
[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_08]: and I kiss your imprint on the bedsheets
[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_08]: the presence of a person you love
[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_08]: makes you suffer and live in the state of violence
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_08]: you must look for the
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_08]: presence of a person you do not care for
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_08]: but then your relation is marked by
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_08]: mental hold backs
[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_08]: and you permanently wish you were alone
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_08]: and the skirt you are
[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_08]: just putting on is floating over your legs
[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_08]: like a wreck forgotten upon the waters
[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_08]: so
[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_04]: we basically get
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Bryson's soft-core porn
[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_04]: apparently the only book he owns is soft-core porn
[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_04]: apparently I have got pictures
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_02]: it's not even a book it's got pictures
[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_04]: oh sorry it's not a book
[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a picture book
[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_02]: look at all the pictures
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_04]: there's nudie
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_04]: he's basically
[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_04]: porned
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_04]: wait what were those called when we were younger
[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_04]: blue movies that were in French
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah blue movies that were on the 8mm reels
[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah that's right
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_04]: so
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_04]: that's why they made the library
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_04]: brilliant
[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Gary the library
[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_02]: our library has
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_02]: CDs
[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_02]: DVDs, LP's
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_04]: they're rid of all that stuff
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_04]: when was the last time you were there so the last time I was there
[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I was just books now
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_04]: they don't even just have books
[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_08]: I know Edmonton that my brother
[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_08]: and my mother were borrowing stuff from the library
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_08]: DVDs
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_04]: they had like box sets
[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_04]: because you go to some of the libraries
[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_04]: they don't have it anymore
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_04]: so libraries have changed their whole model
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_04]: they have e-reader
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_04]: access for stuff
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_04]: and they have
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_04]: places for people to meet
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_04]: so it's become more of a community space
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah that explains the
[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_02]: idiotic designer
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_02]: art deco thing downtown
[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_02]: that they call library
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_08]: what did you think of this Murray we're falling off the deep end here
[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_02]: you're going to write the book out
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_02]: the middle of our movie review pod
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_02]: does he accuse me of not having a book
[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_02]: you had one book
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_08]: I got more
[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_08]: there's more in here but I just don't know where they are
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_08]: I think it's occasionally
[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_08]: read by all guys and people
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_08]: we've literally got a bookshelf upstairs packed with books
[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_08]: okay
[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm sure that is you
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_08]: it might not be whatever
[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_01]: he's trying to pretend
[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_01]: he's trying to pretend
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_01]: that he has
[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_01]: he's an elevated scholar
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_04]: who reads important books
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_04]: but instead he
[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_04]: he buys french porn books
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_02]: so yeah he doesn't have time to read
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_02]: he doesn't have time to read
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah okay
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Harold
[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_08]: that passage wasn't treaty was it not
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_08]: no it really wasn't
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I started not off
[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_08]: that tells me that it was probably pretty good
[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I would rather you did it in french
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_08]: there are french pages
[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_08]: don't get him started
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_02]: don't get him started
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_02]: am I getting through this or not
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_02]: alright so Harold
[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't like kids movies
[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: or cartoons
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_02]: don't have kids, don't want them
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_02]: don't like being around them
[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_02]: it's not exactly looking forward to this movie
[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_02]: alright good
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_02]: you know what rage
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't hate it
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_02]: alright cause it is Zachary Levi
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Zachary Levi who was
[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_02]: very annoying in chazam
[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_02]: as a Tom Hanks
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_02]: kid in a man suit
[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I loved him
[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_02]: actually pulled this off
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_02]: his two co-stars moose
[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_02]: and porcupine
[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_02]: played by little rowell and Tonya Reynolds
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_08]: felt like I was watching Will Ferrell
[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_02]: and Elf
[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Reynolds in particular was a delight
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_02]: every scene she was in
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_02]: brought a smile to my face
[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know where the hell she came from
[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_02]: but I love her
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_02]: um
[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Zoe DeShows
[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_02]: TV show is something I can tell
[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_02]: she has done nothing until this point
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_04]: but not too much
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_02]: but I don't know what she's done
[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_02]: in her career
[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_02]: just TV
[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_02]: apparently but yeah I love her now
[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Zoe DeShinelle
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_02]: usually the quirky comic
[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_02]: lead in everything she does
[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_02]: was just okay as the
[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_02]: serious one of these
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_08]: she's not good
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02]: that dude from the flight of the concours
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_02]: and what we do in the shadows was pretty good
[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_02]: as a villain as well
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_02]: library Gary
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_02]: still this was a kids movie
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_02]: based on a kids book
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_01]: yes
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I really like the animated sequence at the start
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_02]: just a man
[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_02]: considering most kids movies for me are a rage
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: that's a big improvement
[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: are you
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_04]: well this is a winner winner
[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_04]: it's like a win for everybody
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I think he did more than ease to me
[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_04]: hmm
[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_04]: there's a new Bryce we have now
[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Murray
[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_04]: he doesn't have one thing in a movie
[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_04]: like he used to
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_04]: about a month and a half ago
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_04]: that would be something that we would say
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_04]: oh but I like this
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I love Laurel Howry
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_02]: if one thing bothers him it's a rage
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_02]: doesn't matter if the rest of the movie works
[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_02]: is that true
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah that's not true
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_04]: well he's turned over in a leaf
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_04]: in the last six weeks he's a completely different person
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_08]: not true
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_08]: not true either
[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_08]: you're speaking untruths left and right
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_04]: hmm
[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_02]: shall we move on to the
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_02]: master piece of the week
[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_04]: so the big winner at the box office
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_04]: this weekend
[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_02]: was deadpool and wolverine
[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_04]: let's talk about that again
[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_04]: let's do that
[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_04]: oh no wait
[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_04]: we have to talk about the thing that
[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_04]: we all got trapped in the cinema
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_02]: it was a trap
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_02]: the trap was you actually had to pay to see the movie
[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_02]: uh
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_02]: amnight shamlamadingdong
[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_02]: decided he wanted to write and
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: direct a movie for the sole
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: purpose of showing off his daughter
[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_02]: singing career
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: the plot such as it was
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_02]: sent it around a pop concert
[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_02]: where a serial killer is trapped by literally
[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_02]: thousands of police
[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_02]: FBI security and apparently
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_02]: special forces dudes
[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_02]: that's the plot
[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_02]: really
[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_02]: sounds pretty good
[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_02]: give away the identity of the killer in the trailer
[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_02]: there's nowhere to go
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_02]: but down
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_08]: we got to it pretty quick
[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_02]: josh hartnett's creepy performance aside
[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_02]: the rest of this movie was ridiculous
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_02]: and idiotic
[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_02]: i guess the mini shamlamas music wasn't
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_02]: too bad either
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_02]: it was just one unbelievable coincidence
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_02]: after another
[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_02]: as the highly trained crack
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_02]: team let this guy
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_02]: get away
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_02]: time after time after time
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_02]: sounds like a
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_02]: cindy loper song even night
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_02]: said there was no twist ending for this film
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_02]: i like the gandarvis camera of it
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_02]: so he's not even trying anymore
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_02]: such a hard rage hard
[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_04]: oh i got lots to say here
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_04]: i know you do
[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_08]: i'm gonna keep it short and sweet
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: i've said this before in fact
[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_04]: it's kind of like a mantra for me now
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_04]: with his films in particular
[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_04]: let's go back
[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_04]: to man knight shamlam's film old
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_04]: this is
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_04]: now his model
[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_04]: he puts details into a film
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_04]: that are
[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_04]: detailed in certain places
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_04]: that in my opinion aren't adding any value
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_04]: to the film but then forgets
[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_04]: every single important detail
[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_04]: to make a cohesive story that is
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_04]: just
[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_04]: ridiculous just like old was
[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_04]: his new movie
[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_04]: is truly
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_04]: horrible
[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_04]: and tells me a few things
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_04]: about man
[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_04]: knight basically
[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_04]: and i'm gonna tell you a couple things
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_04]: about those right now
[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_04]: number one he has never
[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_04]: ever in his life
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_04]: been to a concert
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_04]: ever
[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_04]: because apparently no one at
[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_04]: this concert was watching the concert
[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_04]: plus he is never
[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_04]: he has never
[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_04]: talked to a police officer
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_04]: about how police work
[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_04]: happens in real life
[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_04]: that's my observation
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_04]: okay now here's a few more of my observations
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_04]: about this movie
[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_04]: sometimes our villain
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_04]: is in a seat
[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_04]: that is beside the aisle
[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_04]: and then sometimes he's in the middle of the aisle
[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_04]: yes that's right
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_04]: i have no clue why
[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_04]: but sometimes
[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_04]: his seat that's assigned to him
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_04]: is in the middle of the aisle
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_04]: but sometimes he's beside the aisle
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_04]: now do we know why
[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_04]: no because it makes no sense
[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_02]: why is josh
[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_04]: why is josh hartnett's
[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_04]: suspicious from the very start
[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_04]: there's no reason he should be suspicious
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_04]: but right from the beginning
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_04]: he's suspicious
[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_02]: there's thousands of cops in
[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_04]: everything
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_04]: not a teeny bobber concert
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_04]: whatever like there was nothing that was
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_04]: delivered that would make us think he should
[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_04]: think that until he talks
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_04]: to the shirt guy
[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_04]: at no concert ever
[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_04]: has a person
[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_04]: risen out of an aisle
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_04]: and then they leave the riser up
[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_04]: for like 20 minutes
[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_04]: 20 minutes
[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_08]: that's not a thing anyway
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_04]: i know that's what i'm saying
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_04]: in an obvious safety
[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_08]: there's not the middle of an arena
[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_04]: no not in the aisle
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_04]: mary they don't
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_04]: they do it on the stage
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_04]: even if they do
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_04]: let's say pretend that they do
[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_08]: they do not
[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_04]: do it
[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_04]: and leave the thing up
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_04]: with no security
[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_04]: no safety precautions
[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_04]: which is obviously a safety violation
[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_04]: yep
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_04]: or as an easy escape access
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_04]: for an escape maybe
[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe that's why
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_04]: i was there oh that was our
[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_04]: that we were supposed to think maybe he's going to escape through there
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_08]: maybe they just built it for the concert
[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe or just for that
[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_04]: ripped out the floor
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_04]: plus no one
[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_04]: through this entire movie
[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_04]: is protecting raven who is supposedly
[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_04]: a huge star
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_04]: and i mean never
[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_04]: throughout this entire movie
[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_04]: the police know he's there
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_04]: many times and are checking every
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_04]: white male that they bump into
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_04]: in fact you can hear them going
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_04]: there's another white male and they go and grab the white male
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_04]: and they take them away
[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_04]: but they never check him ever
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_04]: and even if he knows a secret
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_04]: password he's been spotted
[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_04]: outside of the theater
[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_04]: 72 times
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_04]: before anything happens
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_04]: so like
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_04]: what the actual fuck is happening
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_04]: not sure anyone else
[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_04]: has been to a concert
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_04]: but with 20,000
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_04]: plus people how does his
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_04]: daughter's mother
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_04]: or his girl
[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_04]: his daughter's friends
[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_04]: mother bump into him
[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_02]: every time keep finding him
[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_04]: and they're both not watching
[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_04]: the concert so i'm like
[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_04]: okay so
[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_04]: it could be okay that maybe he's not watching the concert
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_04]: but why is there so many people
[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_04]: and he always bumps into this lady
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_04]: because parents don't give a shit about this stuff
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_04]: but that's not how
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_04]: the kids drag on her
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_04]: that's not how they portrayed this mother
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_08]: fresh prince told me that parents just don't understand
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_04]: that's true they're 100%
[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_04]: heartenet's daughter
[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_04]: leaves the singer
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_04]: but also
[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_04]: leaves every other minute
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_04]: to go find her dad all of a sudden
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_04]: near the end of the movie this is her favorite
[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_04]: singer of all time
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_04]: but then it's like oh dad
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_04]: where dad where
[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_04]: he would tell her every time you left
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_04]: that's what i'm saying she would not care
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_04]: movie magic
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_04]: makes convenience happen at every turn
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_04]: like when he escapes from his house
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_04]: the whole scene with the limo
[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_04]: at the end the box
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_04]: of t-shirts that are
[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_04]: so heavy
[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_04]: man you're strong
[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_04]: then the dude is supposed to be restocking
[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_04]: because they ran out of small t-shirts
[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_04]: but no he brings three back with him
[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_04]: he leaves the entire other box
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_04]: this movie just goes from
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_04]: one scene to the next
[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_04]: that makes no logical sense
[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_04]: in any universe
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_04]: that has ever existed
[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_04]: my guess is that
[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_04]: i was gonna say men night shamalan
[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_04]: but i'm just calling him m night shamalan
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_04]: now because
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_04]: he doesn't even worthy of a man anymore
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_04]: but i think he's created
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_04]: a universe it's make believe
[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_04]: if you watch this movie and you think
[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_04]: none of this is in reality
[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_04]: of today imagine this imaginary
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_04]: what do we have going on
[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_04]: in every movie you know a multiverse
[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_04]: this is a multiverse where police are completely
[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_04]: inept nothing makes sense
[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_04]: and then this movie would make perfect sense
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_04]: this is the worst movie
[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_04]: m has ever done
[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_04]: i now am officially convinced
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_04]: he is no longer
[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_04]: m night shamalan
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_04]: this is the worst movie i've seen this year
[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_04]: i absolutely hated every single thing
[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_04]: about it
[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_04]: i was in
[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_04]: i don't know why it wasn't rage
[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_04]: i just wanted to keep screaming make it stop
[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_04]: this movie was so
[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_04]: so horrible
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_04]: now what do you think about it
[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_08]: there's gonna be a lot of repetition in my review
[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_08]: what you pretty much touched on most things
[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_08]: that i'm gonna say
[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_08]: i just gotta say it again anyway
[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_06]: alright
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_08]: my god this was an awful film
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_08]: it is a series of fortunate occurrences
[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_08]: for our serial killer as he evades
[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_08]: the authorities in a trap
[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_08]: that was set for him
[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_08]: every police officer in the state seems to be
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_08]: at this concert to catch one man
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_08]: catch one man that they do not
[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_08]: know what he looks like
[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_08]: but they have hailey mills
[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_08]: who you might recognize from another
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_08]: famous trap movie
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_08]: playing a profiler
[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_08]: so she can obviously
[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_08]: find him in this crowd of thousands
[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_08]: man she was miscast
[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_08]: i think he did it because
[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_08]: he thought it was funny
[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_08]: oh he was in the parrot trap
[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_08]: i'm gonna miss her the profiler
[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_08]: he's an idiot
[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_08]: there is so much dumb in this from the t-shirt guy
[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_08]: just giving our killer the password
[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_08]: to get by the cops because our killer
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_08]: is a fireman he loves fireman
[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_08]: to there being a trap door
[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_08]: in the middle of the arena floor
[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_08]: there is no way that's a thing
[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_08]: to this concert seeming to have an intermission
[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_08]: between every song
[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_08]: and even when the concert is going on
[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_08]: everyone seems to be in the concourse
[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_08]: instead of in their seats
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_08]: plus our killer keeps on running into the same women
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_08]: at a packed arena i told there would be a lot of
[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_08]: competition rinse and repeat
[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_08]: and don't even get me started
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_08]: on the dialogue in this this is a poorly
[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_08]: written and even more poorly executed series
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_08]: of convenient occurrences
[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_08]: that leaves a door open for
[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_08]: a sequel that better never
[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_08]: come em night shamalan has
[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_08]: officially made the worst movie he has ever
[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_08]: made and it is not even close
[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_08]: this is currently the leading candidate
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_08]: for the worst movie of the year
[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_08]: trap was crap it was a rage
[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_08]: trap was crap trap was crap
[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_08]: that's hashtag i also didn't
[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_08]: see might be that might
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_08]: be the name of our about
[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_02]: finally i also didn't see it this concert
[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_02]: which if anybody's ever been to a concert
[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_02]: that has adults at it
[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_02]: is idiots getting up every
[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_02]: five minutes to go get beer
[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_02]: not one single person had a beer
[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_02]: in their hand not one adult had a beer
[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_02]: in their hand like if you're going to get up
[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and go to the concourse then go get
[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_08]: the bet i've never i've got corn
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_08]: i've never had a beer murray the most
[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_04]: the most ridiculous the most
[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_04]: ridiculous thing about this whole movie
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_04]: okay i would like to know no no
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_04]: as much as i thought there there was a lot
[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_04]: of other ones this stat
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_04]: was the one that got me the most
[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_04]: right so you imagine
[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_04]: the people that are in love with this
[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_04]: raven so most of the time
[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_04]: it's like 13 year old girls
[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_04]: girls okay
[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_04]: so that's that's the audience
[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_04]: so of 20,000 people
[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_04]: the stat they gave was there's
[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_04]: 3,000 white males
[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_04]: so you're trying to tell
[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_04]: me that is that high a percentage
[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_04]: of white males
[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_04]: yes like how many
[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_04]: white males
[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_04]: first off
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_04]: even if even if you're married
[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_04]: and you have a kid and you're bringing them
[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_04]: the dad is not going to go see this
[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_04]: if my daughter begged me
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_04]: to go see this if you're
[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_08]: paying attention and you're looking at
[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_08]: the crowd every time there's no white
[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_08]: males in there only when
[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_08]: when he looks up and a cop is dragging
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_08]: one away yeah and then there's like one
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_08]: white male surrounded by
[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_08]: 10,000 screaming girls
[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_04]: so yeah so where are these
[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_04]: wait you know what we didn't
[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_04]: look at maybe was
[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_04]: the 3,000 white males
[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_04]: just wandering the halls
[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_04]: that could be just wandering the concourse all the time
[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe the 3,000 white males
[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_08]: I didn't see any there either
[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_08]: he didn't run into
[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_08]: or talk to any white males
[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_08]: that didn't work there
[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_08]: well did he even talk to any white males
[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_08]: no because there were none
[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_08]: well they just appeared when they needed to drag
[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_04]: one yeah this is like oh there's one
[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_04]: it's like it took them the entire concert
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_04]: and I think from what they showed us
[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_04]: there was five
[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_04]: five out of 3,000 and then
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_04]: what are they going to do when they drag these
[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_04]: white males into there where were you
[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_09]: where were you are you the guy
[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_09]: no okay
[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_08]: well apparently they've got Hailey Mills
[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_08]: as the profiler and she'll know
[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_04]: she's got psychic power
[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah this she's
[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_08]: world-class profiler
[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I am begging you to rewatch or
[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_04]: for whatever reason that you think
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_04]: that that movie was good
[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_08]: I like the scene where her
[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_08]: her elbows like been backwards
[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_02]: oh don't worry his next movie will be a rage I'm sure
[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_02]: oh yeah I have two more things
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_02]: to add about this they really bothered me
[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_02]: the first one was
[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_02]: towards the end
[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_02]: when you know they're basically close to capturing him
[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_02]: and he's like
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_02]: first of all his wife gives him like enough
[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_02]: drugs to like drop a moose
[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_02]: and
[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_02]: he gets up and then he gets
[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_02]: fucking tasered by 20 people at once
[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah you get that many
[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_02]: jolts of the body you're not getting up in 30 seconds
[00:42:35] [SPEAKER_02]: like that was stupid
[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_02]: plus the drugs that would
[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_02]: drop on me and the other thing
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_02]: was this is the spoiler alert
[00:42:42] [SPEAKER_02]: if there was such a thing
[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_04]: here's the spoiler before you say the spoiler
[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_04]: the spoiler is this movie
[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_04]: is horrible and you should know that already but
[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_02]: the wife
[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_02]: is the one who called the cops in the
[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_02]: first place who gave the description
[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_02]: to the police but didn't provide
[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_02]: a photo no she didn't
[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_08]: give up but she didn't all she did was lead
[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_08]: them that the whole thing was that they
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_08]: she planted stupid
[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_07]: she just gave them a receipt
[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_08]: she just gave them the
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_08]: a part of the receipt and that was
[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_08]: all she gave them just so they would know
[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_02]: well yes but so
[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_08]: she was given a picture to the cops
[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_08]: she didn't though she had no one
[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_08]: because she she was torn
[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_08]: that was the whole thing
[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_04]: she thought that the cops could figure but ok so
[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_08]: but on top of that and she didn't want it to be true
[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_04]: how did they know that was his like
[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_04]: he even says about that space
[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_04]: he never killed anybody there
[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't want to argue with the audit Marie
[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_08]: because it's dumb like the whole thing is dumb
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_02]: no I'm just saying is that was
[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_02]: the big twist at the end
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_02]: was that she's the one who called the cops in the first place
[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_02]: about the whole thing
[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah that doesn't even deserve a
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_02]: what a twist they spent millions
[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_02]: and millions of dollars
[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_02]: on resources to trap this one guy
[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_02]: at a concert
[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_02]: and they could have resolved it
[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_08]: which would never happen
[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_08]: anyway yeah
[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_04]: this is what I'm saying
[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I think this is a science fiction movie
[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah that takes place in a multiverse
[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a fantasy movie in multiverse
[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a fantasy with no fantasy
[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_02]: he doesn't do realistic movies
[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_02]: he does
[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_02]: parallel universe movies
[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah this is a multiverse
[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_04]: this is M Knights version
[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_04]: of the MCU
[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_04]: or Loggerkin
[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_04]: and he's super killer
[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_04]: or psycho killer
[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_04]: kesskase
[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_02]: he's like Freddy or Jason
[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_04]: no no he's like a new superhero
[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_04]: he's like M Knights
[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought this was going to somehow tie into
[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_04]: his superhero trilogy
[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_04]: but I didn't
[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_04]: so maybe this is the start
[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah
[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_04]: unbreakable and split
[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I guess I don't call them superheroes
[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_04]: well that's what they are they're superheroes
[00:44:52] [SPEAKER_02]: maybe Bruce Willis is character
[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_02]: two revealing torrentaise
[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_04]: they're both super hero
[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_04]: McAvoy sure as hell wasn't
[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_04]: he had 20 personalities
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_08]: one of them was
[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_08]: one of them was nice
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_02]: terrible movie
[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah you know what
[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_04]: let's move on
[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah I got nothing
[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_04]: what you got nothing
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_04]: at least tell our listeners your favorite M Knight movie
[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_02]: first one
[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_02]: sixth sense
[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_04]: is there anyone since then that you actually thought
[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_04]: that you liked
[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_02]: didn't mind the village except for the end
[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_02]: okay
[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and you did like
[00:45:50] [SPEAKER_02]: knock at the cabin door
[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I like signs
[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_02]: despite the phoenix
[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_02]: he wasn't the worst thing in it
[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_04]: that's the reason why it's likeable
[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_02]: um yeah
[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_02]: knock at the cabin I don't know
[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_02]: it was okay it was a man it wasn't great
[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_02]: but yeah no it's getting
[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_02]: worse I didn't mind
[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_02]: parts of old basically up until again
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_02]: the last third of the movie
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_02]: every movie he does he ruins
[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_02]: the last third of the movie with stupid shit
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_02]: just when he starts to get interesting
[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_02]: he does something just stupid to ruin it
[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_02]: so yeah I guess
[00:46:22] [SPEAKER_02]: there you go there is my minute
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I love it
[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_02]: because yeah I'm not making a list he's not worthy of a list
[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_01]: temperature rising
[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_01]: vision blurring
[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_01]: rage taking over
[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_04]: rage now
[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_04]: you might think that my rage this week
[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_04]: was going to be something
[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_04]: related to rage night samala
[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_04]: but that's not the case
[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_04]: no my rage this week
[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_04]: is
[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_04]: and the first time I saw it
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought okay that's kind of a cool concept
[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_04]: but now that it seems
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_04]: to be a trend in movies
[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know
[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_04]: why they want to keep
[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_04]: throwing death
[00:47:25] [SPEAKER_04]: into kids movies
[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean
[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_04]: it seems like
[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_04]: every kids movie we've seen
[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_04]: in the last
[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_04]: last six months
[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_04]: has had a death in it
[00:47:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't understand it
[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_04]: no but here's the thing
[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_04]: it's your rage
[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah my rage is
[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_04]: no it's like there's
[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_04]: some kind because again
[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_04]: going back to Hollywood
[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_04]: and it's agenda hidden agenda
[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_04]: or maybe it's not an agenda
[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_04]: to whitewash
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_04]: our society into believing
[00:48:01] [SPEAKER_04]: that nostalgia is the only thing that's got value
[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_04]: so now what's the purpose
[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_04]: of people having kids
[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_04]: that are surviving death
[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_04]: like I get it that kids
[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_04]: will be affected when death happens to them
[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_04]: but let's not have every movie
[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_04]: and I think the reason
[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm
[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_04]: it's coming to the rage don't just you wait
[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_04]: I think the reason for it is
[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_04]: is it becomes
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_04]: lazy writing
[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_04]: that's what I think it is
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I think they're throwing death in there
[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_04]: because they couldn't come up with a better reason
[00:48:33] [SPEAKER_04]: why Zoe Deschanel's
[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_08]: family member isn't there
[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_08]: or it's a cheap way of getting you
[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_08]: emotionally involved
[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_04]: yes that's my rage
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_04]: thank you you put it into words
[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_04]: thank god you're here
[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_04]: normally you piss me off when it comes to my rage
[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_04]: and I'm still not saying I'm not going to be pissed off
[00:48:50] [SPEAKER_04]: when you start talking
[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_04]: but I thank you implicitly
[00:48:55] [SPEAKER_08]: now I don't think your rage
[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_08]: is so stupid now that I've explained
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_08]: what it is exactly
[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_04]: now that you've explained what my rage is
[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_04]: it makes perfect sense
[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_04]: does it not? it's like weak writing
[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't get it it's like
[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_04]: it started with up and I thought
[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_04]: okay that's great
[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_04]: best thing best 20 minutes
[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_04]: as I bawled my eyes out
[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_04]: it was so good
[00:49:17] [SPEAKER_08]: it was so much more
[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_08]: better executed enough
[00:49:21] [SPEAKER_04]: yes of course because
[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_04]: you really invested in these characters
[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_04]: and then what do they do they pull a rug out
[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_04]: right from under you but it's like
[00:49:29] [SPEAKER_04]: well let's start off the movie
[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_04]: by feeling sorry for these characters
[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_04]: and then to your point
[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_04]: they're sucking you in
[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_04]: just cut it out stop making
[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_04]: kids have to deal with death in every kids movie
[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_04]: if the next fucking kids movie that comes out
[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_04]: someone's died in it I'm gonna be fucking pissed
[00:49:47] [SPEAKER_04]: more pissed than I am now
[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_08]: I want to see them die
[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_04]: yes let's have that
[00:49:52] [SPEAKER_08]: let's make it rated R kids movie
[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_08]: rated R kids movie
[00:49:56] [SPEAKER_08]: of a massacre at the start
[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_08]: that's right
[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_04]: well I mean
[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I watched those kind of movies
[00:50:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I watched the exorcist when I was 10
[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah that's a kids movie
[00:50:08] [SPEAKER_07]: that was kids movie totally
[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_07]: he was a kid when he watched it how is it not a kids movie
[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_02]: exactly because he saw it when he should know
[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_02]: what are you talking about
[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_08]: that was the perfect time to see it
[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_08]: that way it scars you for life
[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_01]: that's the way I feel
[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_01]: it's made me a better person
[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_01]: it's made me appreciate
[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_01]: William Friedkin for the master he is
[00:50:30] [SPEAKER_08]: indeed
[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_04]: don't have anything else to add to that
[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_04]: no are you pro death in kids movies
[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_04]: or anti
[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_02]: death is part of life
[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_02]: there you go
[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I was going to funerals when I was like 4
[00:50:43] [SPEAKER_02]: because my parents didn't shield me
[00:50:45] [SPEAKER_02]: they didn't lie to me about stuff
[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_08]: your puppy
[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_02]: your puppy's gone to a fuck right
[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I saw my dog get hit by a car
[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I know what life is about
[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_02]: there you go
[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll be why I'm so cold today
[00:50:59] [SPEAKER_02]: there you go
[00:51:02] [SPEAKER_02]: this sucks
[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_02]: for kids
[00:51:24] [SPEAKER_08]: so
[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_08]: over the last two weeks
[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_08]: I've been to two different
[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_08]: movies
[00:51:31] [SPEAKER_08]: where
[00:51:33] [SPEAKER_08]: we got a little bit of commercial action
[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_08]: yes and it goes right into the feature presentation
[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_08]: yeah so I get no trailers
[00:51:40] [SPEAKER_08]: what
[00:51:40] [SPEAKER_08]: and that's fine but if you're not going to give me
[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_08]: trailers at least give me double the commercials
[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I need I need that time
[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_02]: you need to see Ozepic click three times
[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_08]: I need that time to build up the
[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_08]: anticipation
[00:51:55] [SPEAKER_08]: for the film and when it gets right
[00:51:57] [SPEAKER_08]: into it I'm not ready to watch the movie
[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_08]: yet they should at least have
[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_08]: a warning that there are no trailers
[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_08]: so the commercials are going to lead right into
[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_08]: the feature so get ready
[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_08]: because the trailers give me time
[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_08]: to get ready
[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_08]: to watch the film and if it just jumps
[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_08]: in I feel like I'm playing catch up
[00:52:16] [SPEAKER_08]: for the first 10 minutes he needs time
[00:52:17] [SPEAKER_02]: to finish his first bag of popcorn so he can go back
[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_08]: and get the refill so that's my rage
[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_08]: is it
[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_08]: is that there was like no warning it's like
[00:52:26] [SPEAKER_08]: bang commercials and right he obviously didn't
[00:52:28] [SPEAKER_02]: didn't see the Harold one because there was
[00:52:29] [SPEAKER_02]: like trailers like 10 different kids movies
[00:52:32] [SPEAKER_02]: on that one that's good
[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_02]: no really wasn't no it is
[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_08]: no I think there should be
[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_08]: I think there should be
[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_08]: between the commercials and the trailers
[00:52:42] [SPEAKER_08]: they should equal about half the movie
[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_08]: like there's an hour and a half
[00:52:46] [SPEAKER_08]: movie there should be 40 there should be
[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_08]: 45 minutes of trailers and commercials
[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah you like watching
[00:52:51] [SPEAKER_02]: three-hour films I don't
[00:52:53] [SPEAKER_01]: you're the biggest idiot that's ever
[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_01]: gone to a movie theater I second that
[00:52:57] [SPEAKER_08]: if it's if it's like a Marvel
[00:52:59] [SPEAKER_08]: movie and it's two and a half hours are you
[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_08]: an hour and 15 minutes of
[00:53:03] [SPEAKER_01]: trailer commercials I just want to know
[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_01]: do you do this to me
[00:53:08] [SPEAKER_01]: every week so that I change my rage
[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_01]: that my rage is price again because
[00:53:12] [SPEAKER_01]: it's rage is so stupid
[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_08]: I'd be super serious right now
[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to change my minute
[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_02]: to raging at Bryce to
[00:53:21] [SPEAKER_02]: just say
[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_02]: stupid things
[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_01]: stupid things
[00:53:25] [SPEAKER_01]: you know what I have almost
[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_01]: a lot of respect for people that come
[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_01]: in when the trailers are done but what I
[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_01]: don't like is when they come in and disrupt
[00:53:33] [SPEAKER_02]: the movie yes awful unless they come in
[00:53:35] [SPEAKER_02]: they come in 10 minutes into the movie
[00:53:37] [SPEAKER_02]: that's after 20 minutes of trailers and
[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_02]: commercials that's right
[00:53:40] [SPEAKER_02]: and I see they're half an hour late for
[00:53:42] [SPEAKER_08]: the movie so maybe we should have
[00:53:43] [SPEAKER_08]: more time unless
[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_04]: unless they come in and it doesn't matter
[00:53:47] [SPEAKER_04]: what seven come in at seven that's
[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_08]: the fucking time I agree because if
[00:53:52] [SPEAKER_08]: you don't you're gonna miss it's a
[00:53:54] [SPEAKER_04]: commercial the only pass I'm given
[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_08]: time just so yes we can see the
[00:53:58] [SPEAKER_04]: commercials can we please just all agree
[00:54:00] [SPEAKER_04]: on one thing okay that
[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_04]: someone came in late and just as the
[00:54:04] [SPEAKER_04]: credits are starting to roll up on
[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_04]: the feature presentation
[00:54:07] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah they someone in the
[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_04]: movie theater usually a drunk idiot
[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_04]: that sits in the front row
[00:54:13] [SPEAKER_04]: says let's fucking go
[00:54:15] [SPEAKER_04]: now that's gonna get a pass
[00:54:17] [SPEAKER_04]: because that's what happened at the dead pool
[00:54:19] [SPEAKER_04]: that's right
[00:54:21] [SPEAKER_02]: well in other
[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_02]: times of theater like
[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_02]: the live theater ones
[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_02]: if you arrive after it started
[00:54:29] [SPEAKER_02]: you don't get seated that's right
[00:54:31] [SPEAKER_02]: you gotta fucking wait outside
[00:54:33] [SPEAKER_02]: so yeah get there on time
[00:54:35] [SPEAKER_02]: that that there there's my minute rage
[00:54:37] [SPEAKER_02]: there you go let's fucking go
[00:54:39] [SPEAKER_02]: that's fucking go so more commercials
[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_08]: please sure
[00:54:43] [SPEAKER_02]: rage
[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_02]: boss
[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_02]: sign
[00:54:49] [SPEAKER_05]: anger
[00:54:49] [SPEAKER_01]: thinking about the
[00:54:53] [SPEAKER_01]: is that big commercials
[00:54:54] [SPEAKER_01]: like air 20 times
[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_01]: it's like the only person that's doing commercials
[00:54:59] [SPEAKER_01]: now is fucking yeah I watched the olympics
[00:55:01] [SPEAKER_02]: like seriously every commercial break is
[00:55:03] [SPEAKER_02]: those in three times
[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_01]: same one like
[00:55:07] [SPEAKER_08]: everybody's so happy in that
[00:55:09] [SPEAKER_08]: they're happy and gay it's
[00:55:10] [SPEAKER_01]: drugs
[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_01]: and they're starving because

[00:55:45] [SPEAKER_04]: and repulsive

[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_04]: repulsive and in that movie
[00:56:17] [SPEAKER_04]: she was and and so
[00:56:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Bryce and I set a challenge
[00:56:21] [SPEAKER_04]: to ourselves unbeknownst
[00:56:23] [SPEAKER_04]: to the mirror I agreed
[00:56:25] [SPEAKER_04]: that I would go back and watch beaches because
[00:56:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought because you remember liking it
[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah I remember liking beaches and
[00:56:31] [SPEAKER_04]: that if
[00:56:33] [SPEAKER_04]: she couldn't do beaches right
[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_04]: then there's no hope
[00:56:37] [SPEAKER_04]: and you said you were going to see ruthless people
[00:56:39] [SPEAKER_08]: because I remember enjoying ruthless
[00:56:41] [SPEAKER_08]: people as a young sir member laughing my
[00:56:43] [SPEAKER_08]: butt off although it's always a little
[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_08]: different experience when I watch movies with
[00:56:47] [SPEAKER_08]: my father because his laugh
[00:56:49] [SPEAKER_08]: is infectious was infectious
[00:56:51] [SPEAKER_08]: yeah well he's no longer with us
[00:56:53] [SPEAKER_08]: but uh yeah
[00:56:55] [SPEAKER_08]: he uh he thought it was
[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_08]: hilarious he has a thing for Danny
[00:56:59] [SPEAKER_08]: DeVito he just I don't know
[00:57:01] [SPEAKER_08]: why he finds them so funny but he does
[00:57:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Murray loves John Candy there you go
[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_08]: and it uh it was
[00:57:07] [SPEAKER_08]: uh it I remember it was a
[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_08]: tremendously enjoyable experience with
[00:57:11] [SPEAKER_08]: my father but then I had to
[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_08]: watch this again with the sole purpose
[00:57:15] [SPEAKER_08]: of seeing whether or not that middler
[00:57:17] [SPEAKER_08]: is truly repulsive
[00:57:20] [SPEAKER_08]: you go first
[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_04]: so here's the
[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_04]: thing about bet middler in this film
[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_04]: yep
[00:57:28] [SPEAKER_04]: 80% of the movie she was
[00:57:30] [SPEAKER_04]: completely repulsive
[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_04]: but it's also intentional
[00:57:34] [SPEAKER_04]: that her character is repulsive
[00:57:35] [SPEAKER_02]: half of it the child version of her
[00:57:37] [SPEAKER_04]: no there's not a lot of there's
[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_04]: some of the child of her but it's not
[00:57:42] [SPEAKER_04]: it's not the majority of it
[00:57:44] [SPEAKER_04]: she's still the majority
[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_04]: the majority of the star in this film
[00:57:48] [SPEAKER_04]: and 80% of it
[00:57:50] [SPEAKER_04]: she is repulsive intentionally
[00:57:52] [SPEAKER_04]: but also because of her acting
[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_04]: okay but 20%
[00:57:56] [SPEAKER_04]: she was not so
[00:57:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't say
[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_04]: she's fully repulsive because there was 20 minutes
[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_04]: or not 20
[00:58:04] [SPEAKER_04]: 20% of her time on screen
[00:58:06] [SPEAKER_04]: that she was not repulsive
[00:58:08] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah so
[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_04]: unfortunately Batman is not repulsive
[00:58:12] [SPEAKER_08]: and I'll be honest
[00:58:14] [SPEAKER_08]: she
[00:58:16] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean she wasn't great in ruthless people
[00:58:18] [SPEAKER_08]: but was she bad enough to be
[00:58:20] [SPEAKER_08]: repulsive?
[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_08]: no she wasn't she was there
[00:58:24] [SPEAKER_08]: yeah it was fine
[00:58:26] [SPEAKER_08]: she said a few things that made me laugh
[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_08]: it wasn't terrible
[00:58:30] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah and you know what she got me to cry
[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_04]: in beaches I knew I was
[00:58:34] [SPEAKER_04]: gonna cry
[00:58:35] [SPEAKER_04]: but it was because of Bet's performance that I did
[00:58:38] [SPEAKER_08]: yeah she's
[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_08]: every now and then she's okay
[00:58:42] [SPEAKER_08]: so that's
[00:58:44] [SPEAKER_08]: not consistently repulsive
[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_08]: and that's why she can't be on the list
[00:58:47] [SPEAKER_08]: even though she was
[00:58:49] [SPEAKER_08]: 100% repulsive
[00:58:51] [SPEAKER_08]: in that last piece of crap we saw
[00:58:53] [SPEAKER_04]: yes what was that called again so we remember
[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_08]: the four
[00:58:57] [SPEAKER_08]: four tops I don't know
[00:58:59] [SPEAKER_04]: fabulous four
[00:59:01] [SPEAKER_04]: was it the fabulous four?
[00:59:03] [SPEAKER_04]: something like that
[00:59:05] [SPEAKER_04]: here's a clue for those people who haven't seen that yet
[00:59:08] [SPEAKER_04]: they're not fabulous
[00:59:09] [SPEAKER_04]: just old
[00:59:11] [SPEAKER_04]: most of them are
[00:59:14] [SPEAKER_08]: two of them are really old
[00:59:16] [SPEAKER_08]: one of them is kind of old and the other one is
[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_08]: not that old
[00:59:20] [SPEAKER_04]: that's about it
[00:59:22] [SPEAKER_04]: so have you got a challenge for us
[00:59:24] [SPEAKER_04]: well you know what I'm going on holidays
[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_04]: so I'm just preparing everybody
[00:59:27] [SPEAKER_04]: that I will not be here next week
[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Bryce is gonna hold down the fort
[00:59:31] [SPEAKER_02]: and there's
[00:59:34] [SPEAKER_04]: two very exciting movies
[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_04]: he'll be talking about
[00:59:38] [SPEAKER_08]: so is nobody gonna
[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_08]: fire me like a brief
[00:59:42] [SPEAKER_08]: synopsis of what they thought
[00:59:43] [SPEAKER_04]: we will
[00:59:45] [SPEAKER_04]: talk about your line
[00:59:46] [SPEAKER_08]: I know you're seeing one of the movies
[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_08]: can't you put something together and email it to me
[00:59:51] [SPEAKER_08]: and I'll read it in your
[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_08]: squeaky voice
[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I will
[00:59:57] [SPEAKER_04]: take that with you offline I have an idea
[00:59:59] [SPEAKER_04]: oh he's got an idea
[01:00:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I want your opinion
[01:00:01] [SPEAKER_08]: I know
[01:00:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and you'll all have to tune in next week
[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_04]: to see how Bryce does by himself
[01:00:07] [SPEAKER_08]: we already know that I do just fine by myself
[01:00:13] [SPEAKER_04]: oh that's right
[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_08]: kudos
[01:00:18] [SPEAKER_01]: let's see if he's
[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_01]: prepared
[01:00:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I was prepared today
[01:00:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I know this is like I told you there's a new Bryce
[01:00:25] [SPEAKER_02]: well it's because I had the day off
[01:00:26] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah well there you go
[01:00:27] [SPEAKER_04]: and yet he still kept us waiting
[01:00:30] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah there we go
[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_04]: alright well the list
[01:00:34] [SPEAKER_04]: the list was successful
[01:00:36] [SPEAKER_04]: we didn't get anybody repulsed
[01:00:39] [SPEAKER_02]: say so
[01:00:44] [SPEAKER_00]: last week on
[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Rage or dare
[01:00:48] [SPEAKER_00]: our little Jimbo
[01:00:50] [SPEAKER_00]: who apparently now is known in some circles as
[01:00:52] [SPEAKER_00]: nope
[01:00:54] [SPEAKER_00]: not gonna read that nickname
[01:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I have a reputation to maintain gentlemen
[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_00]: anyway
[01:00:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Jim felt compelled
[01:01:01] [SPEAKER_00]: to pull from the Merman's
[01:01:03] [SPEAKER_00]: ice creamy bucket of rage
[01:01:04] [SPEAKER_00]: and pulled a film rage favorite
[01:01:06] [SPEAKER_00]: in the 2001
[01:01:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Martin Lawrence film
[01:01:10] [SPEAKER_00]: what's the worst that can happen
[01:01:13] [SPEAKER_00]: this week
[01:01:14] [SPEAKER_00]: our boys can rage or dare
[01:01:16] [SPEAKER_00]: or Casey
[01:01:18] [SPEAKER_00]: wink wink
[01:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: come up and see me sometime big boys
[01:01:22] [SPEAKER_00]: now let's check in with
[01:01:24] [SPEAKER_00]: seriously I'm not gonna read everything you put
[01:01:26] [SPEAKER_00]: in front of me I'm not Ron Burgundy
[01:01:29] [SPEAKER_00]: let's see if the power
[01:01:30] [SPEAKER_00]: of Danny DeVito can act
[01:01:32] [SPEAKER_00]: as an antidote to what surely will be
[01:01:34] [SPEAKER_00]: the worst that can happen
[01:01:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it that we
[01:01:42] [SPEAKER_01]: was able to test Casey to see
[01:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: if there's certain things
[01:01:46] [SPEAKER_04]: there's certain things that Casey will not
[01:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: say and it looks like it hit
[01:01:50] [SPEAKER_04]: that wall there you know apparently
[01:01:52] [SPEAKER_04]: my porn star nickname isn't carrying
[01:01:54] [SPEAKER_04]: any weight around here
[01:01:55] [SPEAKER_04]: so we'll have to try that a little bit
[01:01:59] [SPEAKER_04]: on socials
[01:02:00] [SPEAKER_04]: see how it goes what do you think
[01:02:02] [SPEAKER_08]: nah I'd say that's probably
[01:02:04] [SPEAKER_08]: a bad idea alright
[01:02:06] [SPEAKER_04]: okay yeah we might get
[01:02:07] [SPEAKER_04]: blows over our accounts might get blocked
[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah alright so
[01:02:11] [SPEAKER_04]: my question to everybody is
[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_04]: how does Martin Lawrence have the ability
[01:02:17] [SPEAKER_04]: to suck the life
[01:02:19] [SPEAKER_04]: and fun out of every single
[01:02:21] [SPEAKER_04]: scene in every single movie that he
[01:02:23] [SPEAKER_04]: appears in be it when he is
[01:02:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I think trying to be funny
[01:02:27] [SPEAKER_04]: or even more so
[01:02:29] [SPEAKER_04]: when I think he's trying to be
[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_04]: cute and sexy yes that's
[01:02:33] [SPEAKER_04]: right in this movie
[01:02:35] [SPEAKER_04]: he tries
[01:02:37] [SPEAKER_04]: to be sexy
[01:02:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and this movie starts out with
[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_04]: both these forms of torture
[01:02:43] [SPEAKER_04]: in this he is supposed to be a thief
[01:02:45] [SPEAKER_04]: and after
[01:02:46] [SPEAKER_04]: he has and I'm putting this in
[01:02:49] [SPEAKER_04]: strong quotes sexy time
[01:02:50] [SPEAKER_04]: with this lady who he meets
[01:02:52] [SPEAKER_04]: at an auction where they fall
[01:02:55] [SPEAKER_04]: in love after one date
[01:02:57] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah you can guess
[01:02:59] [SPEAKER_04]: how it goes downhill
[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_04]: from here or should I say
[01:03:03] [SPEAKER_04]: this can't be that bad right
[01:03:05] [SPEAKER_04]: what's the worst that could happen
[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_04]: well let me tell you
[01:03:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Danny DeVito plays
[01:03:11] [SPEAKER_04]: a crooked businessman
[01:03:12] [SPEAKER_04]: on the brink of bankruptcy
[01:03:14] [SPEAKER_04]: John Legazamo plays
[01:03:16] [SPEAKER_04]: one of Martin Lawrence's
[01:03:18] [SPEAKER_04]: crooked friends who they decide
[01:03:21] [SPEAKER_04]: to rob DeVito after he claims
[01:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: chapter 11
[01:03:24] [SPEAKER_04]: as they don't think he's
[01:03:26] [SPEAKER_04]: allowed to be in his house
[01:03:28] [SPEAKER_04]: but he's there and when
[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_04]: they come in he pulls a gun
[01:03:32] [SPEAKER_04]: and then he stalls so that the cops
[01:03:34] [SPEAKER_04]: can come and then they come
[01:03:36] [SPEAKER_04]: and DeVito says hey that
[01:03:38] [SPEAKER_04]: ring that Martin Lawrence is wearing that's my ring
[01:03:40] [SPEAKER_04]: he stole it so he steals
[01:03:42] [SPEAKER_04]: it from Martin Lawrence then Lawrence
[01:03:44] [SPEAKER_04]: escapes from the police now
[01:03:47] [SPEAKER_04]: goes back
[01:03:48] [SPEAKER_04]: and steals stuff
[01:03:50] [SPEAKER_04]: but ultimately all he wants
[01:03:52] [SPEAKER_04]: is this ring back
[01:03:54] [SPEAKER_04]: cause it was his new girlfriend
[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_04]: you know the one that's the love of his life
[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_04]: that he met at an auction
[01:03:59] [SPEAKER_04]: and they fell in love instantly
[01:04:02] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah think
[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_04]: of the two, remember we just
[01:04:05] [SPEAKER_04]: talked about how stupid the cops were
[01:04:07] [SPEAKER_04]: in the movie trap well think that
[01:04:09] [SPEAKER_04]: but put it onto a Martin Lawrence level
[01:04:12] [SPEAKER_04]: of stupid so
[01:04:13] [SPEAKER_04]: on one hand you have DeVito
[01:04:16] [SPEAKER_04]: who thinks the ring has
[01:04:18] [SPEAKER_04]: magic mojo power and on the other side
[01:04:20] [SPEAKER_04]: you've got Martin Lawrence who wants the ring back
[01:04:22] [SPEAKER_04]: cause ultimately no one
[01:04:23] [SPEAKER_04]: in the story is likable in any single way
[01:04:26] [SPEAKER_04]: the fact they want us to
[01:04:28] [SPEAKER_04]: feel for a douchebag
[01:04:30] [SPEAKER_04]: like Martin Lawrence who's a thief
[01:04:32] [SPEAKER_04]: who is repulsive who's
[01:04:34] [SPEAKER_04]: now in love with you know this lady
[01:04:36] [SPEAKER_04]: after one date and
[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_04]: nothing is likable with DeVito's character
[01:04:40] [SPEAKER_04]: either but
[01:04:42] [SPEAKER_04]: William is it
[01:04:44] [SPEAKER_04]: pronounced fitcher?
[01:04:45] [SPEAKER_04]: is priceless in this
[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_04]: as the cop who is investigating
[01:04:50] [SPEAKER_04]: the robberies and Danny DeVito
[01:04:52] [SPEAKER_04]: who's annoying as a character
[01:04:54] [SPEAKER_04]: is still good as
[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_04]: that character playing the man
[01:04:57] [SPEAKER_04]: however the story is ridiculous and also
[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_04]: not funny or funny ridiculous
[01:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: just stupid ridiculous and
[01:05:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Martin Lawrence as usual is horrible, annoying
[01:05:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and super repulsive
[01:05:07] [SPEAKER_04]: and is literally the worst
[01:05:09] [SPEAKER_04]: actor who's ever lived there
[01:05:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I've said it put it out there
[01:05:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Martin Lawrence can't act he's the absolute worst actor
[01:05:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I wish I could do a Trump voice
[01:05:18] [SPEAKER_04]: right now he's the worst whatever
[01:05:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Trump does he says it's the best but no
[01:05:21] [SPEAKER_04]: it's the worst how he still gets
[01:05:23] [SPEAKER_04]: roles rather than
[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_04]: at playing a mascot on the
[01:05:27] [SPEAKER_04]: corner dressed in a chicken suit spinning
[01:05:29] [SPEAKER_04]: signs for perhaps chicken on the way
[01:05:32] [SPEAKER_04]: or something like that is completely
[01:05:34] [SPEAKER_04]: beyond me
[01:05:35] [SPEAKER_04]: some of this would not be so bad
[01:05:38] [SPEAKER_04]: if it was funny or well
[01:05:39] [SPEAKER_04]: written or Martin Lawrence wasn't in it
[01:05:41] [SPEAKER_04]: but none of these are present so it's like
[01:05:44] [SPEAKER_04]: literally the worst Martin Lawrence I've seen
[01:05:46] [SPEAKER_04]: and it had Danny DeVito in it
[01:05:48] [SPEAKER_04]: and William Fitcher who is
[01:05:49] [SPEAKER_04]: fantastic in this if this movie was just
[01:05:52] [SPEAKER_04]: a movie about William Fitcher's character
[01:05:53] [SPEAKER_04]: who I have no clue
[01:05:55] [SPEAKER_04]: where he pulled that character out of but
[01:05:57] [SPEAKER_04]: that his character in this was brilliant
[01:05:59] [SPEAKER_04]: do you remember this movie by the way
[01:06:01] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah he's the only good thing
[01:06:03] [SPEAKER_04]: in this he's getting most things he does
[01:06:05] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah he's he's he's brilliant in this
[01:06:07] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah this movie was horrible
[01:06:10] [SPEAKER_04]: like
[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_04]: how can you make a movie that nobody's
[01:06:13] [SPEAKER_04]: likeable and like
[01:06:15] [SPEAKER_04]: who are you supposed to be rooting for
[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't get I don't I don't get it
[01:06:19] [SPEAKER_04]: like if it's
[01:06:21] [SPEAKER_04]: and it wasn't funny there wasn't anything funny
[01:06:24] [SPEAKER_04]: no
[01:06:24] [SPEAKER_04]: nothing nothing was funny
[01:06:27] [SPEAKER_08]: it's not a good movie
[01:06:28] [SPEAKER_04]: no it's terrible
[01:06:30] [SPEAKER_04]: how dare you how dare that's the point
[01:06:33] [SPEAKER_04]: oh that's right you did it was a dare
[01:06:36] [SPEAKER_06]: mm-hmm damn
[01:06:37] [SPEAKER_04]: alright so bricey when we come
[01:06:39] [SPEAKER_04]: back from my vacay
[01:06:41] [SPEAKER_04]: mm-hmm we have to watch something
[01:06:43] [SPEAKER_04]: so who do we want to pull from
[01:06:44] [SPEAKER_04]: do we want to pull from Casey
[01:06:46] [SPEAKER_04]: or our listeners dare bag
[01:06:48] [SPEAKER_08]: we just did merman so
[01:06:50] [SPEAKER_04]: we did yeah I did
[01:06:52] [SPEAKER_04]: what do we do our listeners we haven't done
[01:06:54] [SPEAKER_04]: them for a while
[01:06:55] [SPEAKER_04]: spend them over this ice creamy bucket
[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_04]: and see what we get from them
[01:06:59] [SPEAKER_08]: let's see what the listeners have in store for us
[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_08]: something good I bet
[01:07:04] [SPEAKER_04]: oh I hope it's
[01:07:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I hope it's like something David
[01:07:08] [SPEAKER_04]: would dare us to see
[01:07:10] [SPEAKER_04]: yes alright here we go
[01:07:12] [SPEAKER_04]: we will be watching
[01:07:14] [SPEAKER_04]: circle of fear
[01:07:16] [SPEAKER_04]: alibi perfecto
[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_04]: from 1992
[01:07:19] [SPEAKER_08]: circle of fear
[01:07:22] [SPEAKER_04]: yes sounds awesome
[01:07:24] [SPEAKER_08]: does it
[01:07:26] [SPEAKER_08]: circle of
[01:07:28] [SPEAKER_08]: here I don't know that I know this
[01:07:30] [SPEAKER_08]: movie
[01:07:32] [SPEAKER_04]: oh alibi perfecto
[01:07:35] [SPEAKER_04]: alibi perfecto
[01:07:37] [SPEAKER_04]: an amazing Italian
[01:07:39] [SPEAKER_04]: thriller directed by
[01:07:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Aldo Lado
[01:07:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Tony and Lisa both policemen
[01:07:44] [SPEAKER_04]: want to capture a drug
[01:07:46] [SPEAKER_04]: trafficker named
[01:07:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Mancini in the meantime
[01:07:50] [SPEAKER_04]: they all have to deal with
[01:07:52] [SPEAKER_04]: a maniac known as the full moon killer
[01:07:55] [SPEAKER_02]: this sounds awesome it's Italian
[01:07:57] [SPEAKER_02]: is it called alibi perfecto
[01:08:00] [SPEAKER_04]: alibi perfecto
[01:08:01] [SPEAKER_04]: alibi perfecto from
[01:08:02] [SPEAKER_08]: 1999 1992 right
[01:08:04] [SPEAKER_04]: it's Italian it's got to be alibi perfecto
[01:08:06] [SPEAKER_04]: not alibi perfecto
[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_02]: so basically it's perfect
[01:08:10] [SPEAKER_02]: alibi in Italian
[01:08:13] [SPEAKER_03]: alibi perfecto
[01:08:14] [SPEAKER_03]: it's directed by Aldo Lado
[01:08:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I got a 4.6 on
[01:08:18] [SPEAKER_02]: 90p there you go
[01:08:20] [SPEAKER_03]: now if we can find this anywhere
[01:08:22] [SPEAKER_03]: yeah let's see
[01:08:26] [SPEAKER_08]: apparently
[01:08:26] [SPEAKER_08]: it's on prime video
[01:08:28] [SPEAKER_08]: but that may or may not be accurate
[01:08:30] [SPEAKER_08]: in the great white north
[01:08:32] [SPEAKER_02]: in the great white north
[01:08:33] [SPEAKER_05]: take off to the great
[01:08:36] [SPEAKER_05]: white north
