Welcome back ragers to the best movie review podcast on the planet. The rage rolls on from the Film Rage Studio.
This week the Film Rage Crew attended a couple of films in cinema. One was a ghost story and the other takes place in space. They both seem terrible in concept but lets see if they were as bad as they sound. Stay tuned to the end of the show as Jim had to watch the Sarah Jessica Parker "classic", Did You Hear About the Morgans?

[00:02:49] I am trying it
[00:02:51] That's good
[00:02:52] What would the music mom predict?
[00:02:58] Would he predict the mid or would he predict the mono
[00:03:02] Will he tell us what we thought of movies that we saw
[00:03:06] What would the music mom predict?
[00:03:10] Merman, merman
[00:03:12] Swimming along
[00:03:16] Did you say swimming along?
[00:03:18] I really hate that
[00:03:19] How does that make any sense?
[00:03:21] He's a merman
[00:03:22] Swimming along
[00:03:23] Where are you? Stoopy?
[00:03:25] Stupid
[00:03:27] Duh, he's not called merman
[00:03:30] He's got a giant whale penis
[00:03:33] And he's got fins on his feet
[00:03:35] What the fuck is wrong with you?
[00:03:37] Exactly
[00:03:38] I didn't know any of that
[00:03:40] Where have you been hiding?
[00:03:42] I'm pretty sure I'm going to get one of these right
[00:03:45] I'm not sure about the other two
[00:03:47] We only saw two
[00:03:49] What the hell?
[00:03:50] Don't even talk about the other one
[00:03:52] We're going to see it just not now
[00:03:54] Yes
[00:03:55] What did you see then?
[00:03:57] Just the first two
[00:03:58] We saw the first two
[00:03:59] We didn't see the last one
[00:04:00] It's written on here
[00:04:01] Yeah, don't even talk about the last one
[00:04:02] We'll talk about it later
[00:04:04] That's right
[00:04:05] We'll surprise everybody with it
[00:04:07] So I have a chance of going 50-50 then
[00:04:09] You have a chance of going 100%
[00:04:11] I don't know about that
[00:04:13] Okay, all of us strangers
[00:04:16] Yes
[00:04:17] I'm starting one of my favorite people
[00:04:19] From one of my favorite TV shows
[00:04:21] What?
[00:04:22] I have no idea what you're talking about
[00:04:24] I mean either
[00:04:26] Do you read books at all?
[00:04:28] I do
[00:04:29] Not as many as I used to
[00:04:30] Do you know who James Moriarty is?
[00:04:32] James Moriarty
[00:04:35] He is the villain of Sherlock Holmes
[00:04:38] He is his arch-nemesis
[00:04:40] Okay
[00:04:42] What does that have to do with the TV show?
[00:04:44] Because the character in the book
[00:04:46] This guy played in the TV show
[00:04:49] Oh
[00:04:50] Just saying
[00:04:51] And he was really good
[00:04:53] Andrew Scott
[00:04:54] Nice
[00:04:55] I don't know if anything else
[00:04:56] Alright
[00:04:57] And there seemed to be just a bit
[00:05:01] Of a gay thing to this
[00:05:03] Just saying
[00:05:04] Maybe a little
[00:05:05] There was some gay going on
[00:05:07] I'm not gonna lie
[00:05:09] There's a bit of gay in here
[00:05:10] Look, interesting
[00:05:11] I don't know if it was supposed to be a thriller of any kind
[00:05:14] Or a love story
[00:05:15] Or what the hell it was
[00:05:16] I didn't get it from the trailer
[00:05:18] That is a darn good question
[00:05:20] I don't know if you guys loved it enough
[00:05:22] To give it a mondo
[00:05:23] I think maybe it's just a man
[00:05:27] Alright
[00:05:28] Okay
[00:05:29] Alright
[00:05:30] And the second one which
[00:05:31] Yes, Bryce said
[00:05:33] I was lucky enough to see with you guys
[00:05:35] You were lucky
[00:05:36] And spend my very little
[00:05:38] Harder than money on
[00:05:39] Yes
[00:05:41] I
[00:05:42] S
[00:05:43] S
[00:05:44] Yes
[00:05:45] For those not in the know
[00:05:48] Is
[00:05:49] Is the International Space Station
[00:05:51] Which is exactly what it sounds like
[00:05:54] Wait, did we tell them what the first movie was?
[00:05:56] All of us strangers
[00:05:57] I don't know
[00:05:58] There you go
[00:05:59] Two guys in love
[00:06:00] Yeah, I thought I said it
[00:06:01] The movie's a title
[00:06:02] No, I thought I said it
[00:06:03] Two guys in love
[00:06:04] That's not the name of the title
[00:06:05] No, I'm pretty sure I said it
[00:06:06] Okay
[00:06:07] Just in case you did
[00:06:08] Yeah, ISS
[00:06:10] I like me some action
[00:06:12] Yes
[00:06:13] Bryce, not so much
[00:06:14] Okay
[00:06:15] That's not true
[00:06:16] I like good action
[00:06:17] How about that
[00:06:18] Yeah, but
[00:06:19] I just don't like it to be loud
[00:06:21] And I don't like it to be too fast
[00:06:24] That's pretty much the definition of action
[00:06:27] Or too much action
[00:06:28] Too much action packed action
[00:06:30] No, I like my action to be subdued though
[00:06:32] Yeah, this thing
[00:06:34] I can't see you guys liking it
[00:06:36] Half as much as I didn't like it
[00:06:39] It's gotta be a rage
[00:06:40] It was quite subdued
[00:06:41] Double rage
[00:06:42] Okay
[00:06:43] And yeah, I'm not gonna say the other one
[00:06:45] Because apparently you didn't watch it
[00:06:46] What?
[00:06:47] What other one?
[00:06:48] There is no other one
[00:06:49] There's no other one
[00:06:50] According to our lineup there was
[00:06:52] No one told me otherwise
[00:06:53] I texted you
[00:06:54] So I watched the trailer
[00:06:55] I texted you
[00:06:56] Well, you'll be able to just keep your note there
[00:06:59] And we'll get to it later
[00:07:00] Maybe I'll change my mind
[00:07:01] Maybe
[00:07:02] Maybe
[00:07:03] Anyway
[00:07:04] We gotta go watch it at your favorite theater
[00:07:06] Yeah
[00:07:07] My favorite theater?
[00:07:08] The one that closes half the week
[00:07:10] No
[00:07:11] The Plaza
[00:07:12] The Plaza, it's open all the time
[00:07:13] It's not my favorite
[00:07:14] Seven days a week
[00:07:15] You love the Plaza
[00:07:16] Hasn't been my favorite since they got new management
[00:07:18] Alright, uh oh
[00:07:19] Oh no
[00:07:20] Oh no
[00:07:21] The Plaza listens to our podcast by the way
[00:07:23] Thanks dude
[00:07:24] I just remembered it's sponsored by them
[00:07:26] I don't get too many freebies either at all
[00:07:27] I love the Plaza by the way
[00:07:29] As do I
[00:07:30] Good for you
[00:07:31] I hope they start selling Cove soda
[00:07:33] This moment brought to you by
[00:07:35] The purveyors of Cove soda
[00:07:37] Satisfying your thirst
[00:07:39] Satisfying your gut
[00:07:40] With taste
[00:07:41] Yeah it's got probiotics
[00:07:42] And zero sugar
[00:07:43] That too
[00:07:44] Cove
[00:07:45] You'll help us
[00:07:47] And thank yourself
[00:07:48] By the way I haven't been to a bad movie at the Plaza in like a year
[00:07:51] Yeah
[00:07:52] I don't think I've ever seen a bad movie at the Plaza
[00:07:54] There you go
[00:07:55] There we go
[00:07:56] Alright so uh
[00:07:57] We saw
[00:08:00] All of us strangers
[00:08:01] We did
[00:08:02] Yes
[00:08:03] All of us strangers
[00:08:05] As Murray said
[00:08:06] It had some gay in it
[00:08:07] There was
[00:08:08] There was
[00:08:09] Yeah
[00:08:10] All of us strangers is a story about Adam
[00:08:12] Played by Andrew Scott
[00:08:14] Who apparently played something in
[00:08:16] A Sherlock Holmes TV series
[00:08:18] He's been in a lot of stuff but mostly TV
[00:08:20] Yeah I don't know who he is
[00:08:22] It's the first time I've ever seen him
[00:08:23] Exactly
[00:08:24] I'm pretty sure he didn't exist before this movie
[00:08:26] Yeah I'm sure
[00:08:27] Now Adam lives in an empty
[00:08:30] High-rise apartment building
[00:08:32] And it seems the only other person that lives there
[00:08:35] Is Harry
[00:08:36] Played by Paul Muscal
[00:08:38] That's odd
[00:08:40] A high-rise in London
[00:08:42] Yes
[00:08:43] With two people
[00:08:45] Living
[00:08:47] In it
[00:08:48] Yes
[00:08:49] And it is good thing that you can't see me right now
[00:08:53] As I air quoted one word from that last sentence
[00:08:57] That's right
[00:08:58] Living
[00:08:59] No stop
[00:09:00] That's what she said
[00:09:01] Which may be considered a spoiler
[00:09:03] But I gave the whole sentence
[00:09:05] I might have been that or odd
[00:09:08] But you went and gave it away
[00:09:10] You just spoiled the whole movie
[00:09:13] Is this like a sixth sense situation?
[00:09:15] You're the one that put the air quotes on living
[00:09:18] Nobody saw it though
[00:09:20] You did
[00:09:21] I saw something from the previous sentence
[00:09:24] Yeah but you literally gave it emphasis
[00:09:26] You just
[00:09:27] You literally gave vocal recognition
[00:09:31] To everybody in the world that hasn't seen this
[00:09:34] Way to go Jen
[00:09:36] We're gonna say there may be a couple spoilers in this one
[00:09:39] I'm not gonna lie
[00:09:40] Some of mine review will have spoilers
[00:09:43] Does someone see dead people?
[00:09:45] Well we'll see
[00:09:46] As a relationship develops between Adam and Harry
[00:09:49] Adam finds himself drawn back to his hometown
[00:09:52] Where he hangs out with
[00:09:54] His parents I guess
[00:09:56] Even though they're dead
[00:09:58] Yeah
[00:09:59] That's what they were
[00:10:00] They were dead
[00:10:01] They were just hanging out with him
[00:10:03] And they've been dead for like 30 years
[00:10:05] So this is a unique journey that makes no sense
[00:10:08] And perfect sense all at the same time
[00:10:10] Adam seems to need to resolve his own issues
[00:10:13] Before he can help Harry with his
[00:10:16] This movie seems to exist somewhere between reality
[00:10:19] And spirituality
[00:10:21] And it inhabits that space pretty well
[00:10:23] I liked the film a lot
[00:10:25] It was man
[00:10:26] Okay well
[00:10:27] Bing bing bing
[00:10:28] Looks like
[00:10:29] I'm not gonna spoil anything
[00:10:30] But apparently Jim's just coming
[00:10:31] Coming full bore ahead with spoilers
[00:10:33] I'm coming to town
[00:10:34] Talking to his dead parents
[00:10:35] That's all you're gonna do
[00:10:36] That's right
[00:10:37] Well gonna hear more about it right now
[00:10:39] So pacing in this was very slow
[00:10:42] Moving
[00:10:44] And at times almost drawn out
[00:10:46] The story opens up
[00:10:48] As we get to know both our main characters
[00:10:51] And Adam Scott's character
[00:10:54] Who plays Adam
[00:10:55] As Andrew
[00:10:56] Bryce is already
[00:10:57] Andrew Scott
[00:10:58] Adam Scott's a different actor
[00:11:00] Sorry, Andrew Scott, you're right
[00:11:01] And plays Adam
[00:11:02] Adam Scott's a
[00:11:03] Did I say Andrew Scott?
[00:11:04] Adam Scott
[00:11:05] Adam Scott
[00:11:06] No it's Andrew Scott
[00:11:07] You said Adam
[00:11:08] But he plays Adam
[00:11:09] He does play Adam
[00:11:10] That is confusing
[00:11:11] I never really connected that
[00:11:12] It was a hot tub time machine too
[00:11:14] That's right
[00:11:15] Among other things
[00:11:16] There's not even a hot tub in this movie
[00:11:18] Anyway
[00:11:19] See he existed before this movie
[00:11:20] I guess
[00:11:21] Unlike Andrew Scott
[00:11:22] Who I've never heard of
[00:11:23] Yes
[00:11:24] So the way they introduced his parents
[00:11:30] Was unique
[00:11:31] As he sees them as
[00:11:33] As the age they were when they died
[00:11:37] And him as an adult
[00:11:39] Yeah, like probably older than them
[00:11:41] Yeah, he's actually probably older than them
[00:11:43] Yeah, I think he is
[00:11:44] Because he's got wrinkles
[00:11:46] Which threw me off a bit
[00:11:49] Because it was not a flashback
[00:11:51] Or a memory of his parents
[00:11:53] But of him reintroducing himself to them
[00:11:56] As an adult gay man
[00:11:59] It was like
[00:12:00] It was like what's going on here
[00:12:02] I was watching it
[00:12:03] I literally went
[00:12:04] I also said
[00:12:05] I said double huh
[00:12:06] The story kind of
[00:12:08] Settled into a slump in the middle
[00:12:10] And I started thinking
[00:12:11] The uniqueness and creativity of this film
[00:12:14] Started losing its edge
[00:12:17] But then things started to happen
[00:12:19] And it changes
[00:12:20] I, unlike Bryce
[00:12:22] Am not afraid of ghost stories
[00:12:24] But this didn't feel like
[00:12:27] That type of story
[00:12:29] It was a ghost story
[00:12:30] But more as a cleansing or an awakening
[00:12:32] Also, for anyone who has never seen queer cinema
[00:12:38] This may be a good one to start with
[00:12:40] Because they really make you feel
[00:12:43] That Adam's character did not have a lot of experience
[00:12:46] In the gay community
[00:12:48] So it was almost like a how-to film
[00:12:50] On being gay
[00:12:51] As we are introduced to our other lead
[00:12:55] Paul Miskell
[00:12:56] Who plays Harry
[00:12:57] Harry
[00:12:58] I do not want to spoil this
[00:13:03] For everyone
[00:13:04] I was trying not to
[00:13:06] Yeah, well
[00:13:07] And then you went and spoiled it for everyone
[00:13:08] I'm still having spoiled it
[00:13:09] Yeah, it's coming out
[00:13:10] You already said he was talking dead people
[00:13:11] Well, hi
[00:13:12] We just said
[00:13:13] I would just said living in quotes
[00:13:14] Yeah, so I don't want to really spoil this
[00:13:19] For everybody
[00:13:20] But I will spoil it for some people, I guess
[00:13:27] Just spit it out
[00:13:28] Go ahead and spoil it
[00:13:30] But what I thought was going to happen
[00:13:32] Was not what actually happens
[00:13:34] And as it came out of its slump
[00:13:37] That was the middle of the film
[00:13:39] Right up until the end
[00:13:41] I was like, huh
[00:13:42] See, there it again
[00:13:44] I really like this film
[00:13:46] But as the credits roll
[00:13:49] I'm like, no
[00:13:50] I'm still actually thinking about this film
[00:13:52] And two days later
[00:13:54] I'm still thinking about this film
[00:13:56] It's great to see queer cinema
[00:13:59] That comes from a different perspective
[00:14:01] An angle and shows a solid relationship
[00:14:03] That is love
[00:14:05] But just like M Night Shyamala Madingdong's
[00:14:08] Sixth Sense
[00:14:09] I'm going to again try not to spoil the surprise
[00:14:13] So, but instead of I See Dead People
[00:14:17] The subtext of this film might be called
[00:14:19] I See Dead People Who Fuck
[00:14:21] Exciting
[00:14:23] I'm still processing this film
[00:14:26] Yeah, I'm still not sure what it is
[00:14:28] I feel it's kind of hard to talk about
[00:14:31] So it's not really a thriller
[00:14:33] It's...
[00:14:34] No, it's not a thriller
[00:14:36] Except for some of the sex scenes
[00:14:38] Yeah, I thought there would be some killing
[00:14:40] Or something that would come to a head
[00:14:42] I don't, yeah
[00:14:43] Somebody would be tracing it
[00:14:45] Here's the thing
[00:14:46] No, it was made for me
[00:14:48] It would not a lot happen
[00:14:49] It was slow
[00:14:50] Yeah, you know what
[00:14:51] Because I can't stop thinking about this film
[00:14:53] And I'm still processing it
[00:14:55] It was Mondo for me
[00:14:56] I don't believe you
[00:14:57] I was close
[00:14:58] Yeah, like, you know what
[00:14:59] There is a slump in the middle of the film
[00:15:01] That kind of dragged me into the slumpiness
[00:15:03] Or slumpsville as I like to call it
[00:15:05] But the ending is so good
[00:15:08] That it just brought me to a point of complete joy
[00:15:11] And I can't stop thinking about this movie
[00:15:13] There's a lot of questions I have
[00:15:14] And I kind of don't want to share them too much
[00:15:17] But let's unpack a couple of things
[00:15:19] So don't you think it was kind of creative
[00:15:21] That they had the parents
[00:15:23] Him visiting the parents
[00:15:24] As they were at the age that they died?
[00:15:29] It was the only way they could do it
[00:15:31] How else...
[00:15:32] When were we supposed to visit them?
[00:15:33] They're dead
[00:15:34] Well, but it's not like normal
[00:15:36] It's not like normal films
[00:15:37] Like he would have like a memory of it
[00:15:39] Like he's actually going and
[00:15:40] No, he's going out and he's hanging out with them
[00:15:42] He's talking and he's talking
[00:15:43] It was unique
[00:15:44] He's working a lot of stuff out in this movie
[00:15:46] Yeah
[00:15:47] It's kind of therapy
[00:15:48] It is
[00:15:49] This whole movie is one big therapy session
[00:15:50] Yeah, it is
[00:15:51] And it was...
[00:15:52] I found that unique and refreshing
[00:15:54] So if you like watching the therapy session
[00:15:56] For 90 minutes
[00:15:58] Yeah
[00:15:59] This is a movie for you
[00:16:00] But throw in some good old fashioned gay sex
[00:16:03] And there's some gay sex here
[00:16:05] Yeah, it's pretty good
[00:16:06] This sex is gay
[00:16:07] No, it was a...
[00:16:08] It was a unique ride
[00:16:11] I enjoyed it a lot
[00:16:13] And it does leave you with a bunch of questions
[00:16:15] When the whole thing's over
[00:16:17] Yeah
[00:16:18] I'm still not 100% sure of a bunch of stuff
[00:16:20] Yeah
[00:16:21] I'm like 90% sure of most of it
[00:16:22] Yeah
[00:16:23] But if someone came up with a different argument
[00:16:25] Oh, no, no, this is actually what that meant
[00:16:27] Or this, I'd be like, alright
[00:16:29] But that...
[00:16:30] You know what?
[00:16:31] That's what I like
[00:16:32] As long as they make a compelling argument
[00:16:33] But I think you could make a few compelling arguments
[00:16:34] About what went on in this movie
[00:16:35] Yeah, I agree
[00:16:36] And...
[00:16:37] Yeah, that's why I love this film so much
[00:16:38] Which adds to why it was good
[00:16:39] Yeah, I really think
[00:16:43] We need more queer cinema
[00:16:46] That stretches people's imaginations and boundaries
[00:16:49] And this totally did that for me
[00:16:51] And it had...
[00:16:53] You know, there's pretty much only
[00:16:55] Sort of four characters through the whole movie
[00:16:58] Wasn't there a girl at some point?
[00:17:00] Yeah, there was
[00:17:01] I saw a girl in the trailer
[00:17:02] And it wasn't an old person
[00:17:03] That was his mom
[00:17:04] You were early?
[00:17:05] Yeah
[00:17:06] She was younger than him
[00:17:08] Yeah, she was the same as him
[00:17:10] I think there's only four people in this movie
[00:17:12] Whatever
[00:17:13] Anyway
[00:17:14] There's some people in the background occasionally
[00:17:16] By the way, Bryce
[00:17:18] Yes?
[00:17:19] Andrew Scott did exist before this movie
[00:17:21] No, he didn't
[00:17:22] He was in 1917
[00:17:25] Ah, probably
[00:17:26] As like an extra
[00:17:27] He was a lieutenant
[00:17:28] He had lines
[00:17:29] He had lines
[00:17:30] Diddy
[00:17:31] He didn't just stare off
[00:17:33] No
[00:17:34] He was in Alice with a looking glass
[00:17:37] He was in Victor Frankenstein
[00:17:40] He's everywhere
[00:17:41] And he was in Specter
[00:17:42] He's practically been in everything, Bryce
[00:17:44] Specter
[00:17:45] Everybody was in Specter
[00:17:46] He's like a cast of thousands
[00:17:48] So he's been in movies too
[00:17:50] Mostly a TV actor
[00:17:52] I don't know who this guy is
[00:17:54] Well, you do now
[00:17:56] The important thing to know that there was one other character
[00:17:58] It was a waitress
[00:17:59] There you go
[00:18:00] Oh, yeah
[00:18:01] It was a waitress
[00:18:02] I didn't remember that now
[00:18:03] Yeah
[00:18:04] She came in
[00:18:05] Yeah, she gave him food
[00:18:06] Yeah, that was
[00:18:07] Yeah, that's right
[00:18:08] I don't know
[00:18:09] But there's pretty much just
[00:18:11] Wonder if she was
[00:18:13] So, Dusty's 2Gay guys
[00:18:15] I know
[00:18:16] Right?
[00:18:17] You know, we didn't
[00:18:19] We didn't totally spoil this
[00:18:21] I'm still not sure where this took place to be honest
[00:18:23] Yes, me neither
[00:18:24] This is, you know what
[00:18:25] I can't believe you didn't love this movie
[00:18:27] Like it is a lot
[00:18:28] It is written for you, actually
[00:18:30] Yeah, no
[00:18:31] I can see that
[00:18:32] I highly suggest people see this film
[00:18:34] It was good
[00:18:35] And if you're afraid of queer cinema
[00:18:38] This would be one to start with
[00:18:39] Because you kind of get to learn a little bit about some stuff
[00:18:41] And I liked it
[00:18:43] I love this movie
[00:18:44] That's what I hear
[00:18:45] Yeah, I'm really loving it
[00:18:47] I'm still thinking about it
[00:18:48] I thought it was good
[00:18:49] I want to see it again, actually
[00:18:51] I don't
[00:18:53] Alright
[00:18:54] That's enough
[00:18:55] Alright
[00:18:56] So we also saw a movie
[00:18:58] Called I
[00:19:00] Period
[00:19:02] S
[00:19:03] Period
[00:19:05] S
[00:19:07] Period
[00:19:08] S
[00:19:09] Period
[00:19:10] I didn't notice the periods
[00:19:12] I thought it was this
[00:19:13] S
[00:19:14] Period
[00:19:15] There's so many periods and answers in this movie
[00:19:18] There's only three periods
[00:19:19] Okay
[00:19:20] One after each of the
[00:19:22] Letters
[00:19:23] Because it stands for something
[00:19:24] It does stand for something
[00:19:25] So, um
[00:19:26] It stands for
[00:19:28] Here's my take on ISS
[00:19:30] Some space stuff happens
[00:19:32] That's obvious foreshadowing
[00:19:34] Followed by some comradery
[00:19:36] Between the Russians and the Americans
[00:19:38] Then Nuke start exploding
[00:19:40] A dude goes outside
[00:19:42] And then untethers himself
[00:19:44] For no real reason
[00:19:46] All the while
[00:19:48] No one
[00:19:50] No one in the ship is following any protocols
[00:19:54] And no one knows where anyone is
[00:19:57] During the entire time
[00:19:59] When someone goes outside
[00:20:01] A space station
[00:20:03] When a war breaks out
[00:20:05] They had communication
[00:20:07] They cut the communication
[00:20:09] They sabotaged it
[00:20:10] Nobody knew where anybody was
[00:20:13] Everybody's sitting...
[00:20:15] You would think with all the cameras
[00:20:17] About that station they would have had
[00:20:19] Somebody was watching something
[00:20:21] There was so much of something
[00:20:22] But nothing was happening of anything
[00:20:23] So protocols is absolutely
[00:20:25] Nothing anybody would be doing
[00:20:27] During any point in this movie
[00:20:29] It's boring for most of the movie
[00:20:31] Everything gets predictable
[00:20:33] And annoying
[00:20:35] Just like you two are being right now
[00:20:37] And science doesn't apply
[00:20:39] No characters are developed
[00:20:41] What so ever
[00:20:43] So I don't know anything about
[00:20:45] Anybody
[00:20:47] One guy had a family
[00:20:49] Two of them were bonkin
[00:20:51] That's what I call development
[00:20:53] For sure
[00:20:55] It was more than it needed
[00:20:57] I don't know
[00:20:59] Or care if anyone
[00:21:01] Was going to live or die as I watch this movie
[00:21:03] Not just because I'm Canadian
[00:21:05] But because I didn't know enough about anyone
[00:21:07] Or care enough about any of them
[00:21:09] They used to try to arm them
[00:21:11] They didn't identify it as Canadian
[00:21:13] Isn't that where it is now?
[00:21:15] There should have been a Canadian flag on that
[00:21:17] It used to be in the shuttle way
[00:21:19] That just proves that it's not real
[00:21:21] Sorry can I finish?
[00:21:23] Sure
[00:21:25] Can I finish?
[00:21:27] Then common sense prevails
[00:21:29] Did it?
[00:21:31] No
[00:21:33] And the ending is stupid
[00:21:35] And I didn't care about anything
[00:21:37] And it's a space movie
[00:21:39] Which are normally always boring and dumb
[00:21:41] And this movie was terrible
[00:21:43] I hated literally every second of it
[00:21:45] It was a total rage
[00:21:47] Every second
[00:21:49] I can't think of a
[00:21:51] Please convince me there was a second
[00:21:53] That I could have enjoyed anything
[00:21:55] Let's see what Mar-Man has to say
[00:21:57] Oh I get to talk? Awesome
[00:21:59] Oh I don't know
[00:22:01] You guys didn't shut the fuck up
[00:22:03] I'll be brief because I agree with everything you said
[00:22:05] My favorite line
[00:22:07] From the numerous reviews I read
[00:22:09] After watching this
[00:22:11] In space
[00:22:13] No one can hear you snore
[00:22:15] Yeah
[00:22:17] Pretty much sums it up
[00:22:19] There is one line
[00:22:21] It's scream
[00:22:23] If it was exciting I would have screamed
[00:22:25] It wasn't
[00:22:27] As I said on our social media
[00:22:29] In space
[00:22:31] Everyone hears us rage
[00:22:33] This movie is so dumb
[00:22:35] How dumb is it?
[00:22:37] It actually tricks itself into thinking that it's trying to be intentionally stupid
[00:22:41] This movie is a waste of space
[00:22:43] Waste of outer space
[00:22:45] Waste of outer space
[00:22:47] The premise is ridiculous
[00:22:49] Defies all logic
[00:22:51] The whole world is destroyed by nukes
[00:22:53] Who the hell cares about
[00:22:55] A piece of junk up in space
[00:22:57] And as
[00:22:59] The plot furthers
[00:23:01] We discover it's falling down to the earth
[00:23:05] There's six people on board
[00:23:07] Because they have no support
[00:23:09] From their Houston
[00:23:11] Or Russia or whatever
[00:23:13] There's no one to help them
[00:23:15] And the stupid space station
[00:23:17] Is basically falling out of the sky
[00:23:19] So they're gonna be dead anyway
[00:23:21] So who cares if they kill each other
[00:23:23] They should have just beamed down
[00:23:25] Or used the force
[00:23:27] Or something
[00:23:29] The ending was awesome
[00:23:31] Where the surviving people
[00:23:33] After all the carnage
[00:23:35] They get onto the shuttle
[00:23:37] And head down to earth
[00:23:39] Which has been destroyed by nukes
[00:23:41] Our blue and green planet
[00:23:43] Is now all red
[00:23:45] There's a couple little spots
[00:23:47] I thought they floated off and they were on Mars
[00:23:49] Antarctica maybe
[00:23:51] Maybe they went to Mars
[00:23:53] Or the moon, I don't know
[00:23:55] But anyway, this is
[00:23:57] A tremendous range
[00:23:59] It was so bad
[00:24:03] I'm just anxious to find
[00:24:05] One thing that Bryce liked about this
[00:24:07] Was he awake?
[00:24:09] I don't know
[00:24:11] I think he might have slept throughout this
[00:24:13] He's actually sleep singing
[00:24:15] Maybe I'll move to Mars
[00:24:19] Yeah, wake up
[00:24:21] It's from a gentle lane
[00:24:23] I like that album
[00:24:25] They kind of sound like the Beatles
[00:24:27] Only they're from the east coast of Canada
[00:24:29] Let's keep this international space station
[00:24:31] Falling towards Earth
[00:24:33] I didn't even know they were from the Maritimes
[00:24:35] Until recently
[00:24:37] Just another example of your idiocy today
[00:24:39] I was like, wow
[00:24:41] I did not know that
[00:24:45] So there was actually
[00:24:47] Another review that actually said
[00:24:49] Something different
[00:24:51] In the trailer for ISS
[00:24:53] And it's the one that's on the trailer
[00:24:55] Oh, because then you know it's accurate
[00:24:57] It quotes
[00:24:59] The quote from their view says
[00:25:01] That turns out they can hear
[00:25:03] You scream in space
[00:25:05] And you're screaming because the movie's so terrible
[00:25:07] That's all well and good
[00:25:09] But a better question is
[00:25:11] As Maria did alluded to
[00:25:13] Can you hear me snore from space
[00:25:15] Because if you can, then you may have heard me
[00:25:17] During this film
[00:25:19] And it is too bad
[00:25:21] As the film looks pretty good
[00:25:23] And the music was outstanding
[00:25:27] Albeit completely wasted
[00:25:29] On this boring piece of cinema
[00:25:31] By the way
[00:25:33] When I say great music
[00:25:35] The
[00:25:37] What that means is
[00:25:39] Not having to suffer
[00:25:41] Through the scorpions winds of change
[00:25:43] I mean the musical score
[00:25:45] By Ann Nickiton
[00:25:47] Alright
[00:25:49] Just so we got that straight
[00:25:51] Yeah, of course, because they did play scorpions
[00:25:53] And I think I threw up a little bit
[00:25:55] I hate the scorpions at the best of times
[00:25:57] To be honest
[00:25:59] I'm not into things
[00:26:01] You do, it's all terrible
[00:26:03] I think Canadian
[00:26:05] No
[00:26:07] You know what, there's still a lot of Canadian bands
[00:26:09] That are bad, just scorpions aren't one
[00:26:11] I know, I hear them on the radio pretty much every day
[00:26:13] I would say that ultimately
[00:26:15] This movie wasn't actually as horrible
[00:26:17] As you guys are making out to be
[00:26:19] But it bored me to the point
[00:26:21] Of mild rage
[00:26:23] But that's still rage
[00:26:25] It had a pace about it
[00:26:27] It had no pace, nothing made any sense
[00:26:29] I only dozed off
[00:26:31] Like twice
[00:26:33] It was only 90 minutes long
[00:26:35] Yeah, but when you fell asleep
[00:26:37] They could have stretched this piece of crap
[00:26:39] Into two hours, so thank you
[00:26:41] To whoever made this 90 minutes
[00:26:43] Who made that call
[00:26:45] Because that's a perfect amount of time
[00:26:47] For this 80 minutes would have been better
[00:26:49] I think 20 minutes
[00:26:51] Could they have done it as a short
[00:26:53] Yeah
[00:26:55] You know
[00:26:57] It was terrible
[00:26:59] I thought the special effects were decent
[00:27:01] Okay
[00:27:03] I thought the music was good
[00:27:05] The performances were fine
[00:27:07] Yeah
[00:27:09] It was just not a good movie
[00:27:11] It's terrible, this movie is awful
[00:27:13] It's just a mild rage
[00:27:15] All the story
[00:27:17] That they kind of tried to put in there
[00:27:19] Made no sense
[00:27:21] All the science was terrible
[00:27:23] No sense, I'm not even into science
[00:27:25] And I don't get through shits about space
[00:27:27] I'm 53 years old
[00:27:29] I'm not getting to another planet
[00:27:31] Like I'm dying on this one
[00:27:33] So I don't give a crap what I do up there
[00:27:35] Yeah
[00:27:37] You know, the more I was thinking about it
[00:27:39] I can't decide which one I hated more
[00:27:41] Gravity or this one
[00:27:43] Gravity was awesome
[00:27:45] I didn't like gravity
[00:27:47] Gravity was fantastic
[00:27:49] Oh you mean when they landed it
[00:27:51] Gravity wasn't awesome
[00:27:53] But it was good
[00:27:55] It was 90 minutes of Sandra Bullock
[00:27:57] Sandy
[00:27:59] Get your Sandy on
[00:28:01] And like 5 minutes of who else was it
[00:28:03] I remember seeing this
[00:28:05] That would be Rosemary's
[00:28:07] Clooney's nephew
[00:28:09] Rosemary Clooney's nephew
[00:28:11] That's correct
[00:28:13] Otherwise people don't know who you're talking about
[00:28:15] Of course, nobody knows who he is
[00:28:17] Space movies
[00:28:19] They're like oh yeah, that George kid
[00:28:21] Our listeners don't even know who Rosemary Clooney is
[00:28:23] Yes they do
[00:28:25] I've been in a movie for like 40 years
[00:28:27] Give them some credit
[00:28:29] Whatever
[00:28:31] That's all they know
[00:28:33] That's true
[00:28:37] The only
[00:28:39] Space movie
[00:28:41] That could be possibly good
[00:28:43] Is one that has an alien eating or killing people
[00:28:45] Yeah I was waiting for the alien
[00:28:47] If there was an alien on board the space station
[00:28:49] Stupid
[00:28:51] Or one of those rats would have mutated
[00:28:53] And like started killing
[00:28:55] Then I would have been on board with that
[00:28:57] That would have been poopy
[00:28:59] I'm sorry because the science was so good
[00:29:01] Science was terrible
[00:29:03] He untethers himself
[00:29:05] When he untethered himself I was like
[00:29:07] Yeah you had to reach the thing
[00:29:09] Did he have to reach it?
[00:29:11] Why would a space station
[00:29:13] Have a short tether
[00:29:15] Instead of the tether
[00:29:17] That could make him go to any place on the space station
[00:29:19] Everything you're saying is dumb
[00:29:21] Human error my friend
[00:29:23] Human error it exists
[00:29:25] It exists
[00:29:27] It doesn't happen in space
[00:29:29] It doesn't happen in space
[00:29:31] These guys have lived on it for like a year
[00:29:33] And I think they would know
[00:29:35] Shit by now
[00:29:37] Hey by the way did you bring
[00:29:39] The big tether
[00:29:41] Or did you bring the short tether
[00:29:43] That only reaches
[00:29:45] It reaches almost there
[00:29:47] Why would you have a short tether
[00:29:49] Because sometimes you don't need a whole lot of tether
[00:29:51] You don't want a bunch of tether
[00:29:53] They forgot the extension cord
[00:29:55] On the other ship
[00:29:57] I wanted to tether something around my neck
[00:29:59] Anyway yeah no it was terrible
[00:30:01] Movie was bad but it wasn't bad
[00:30:03] One of the only movies that came out this weekend
[00:30:05] Lucky us
[00:30:07] That's enough of that
[00:30:09] Oh yeah here's what we want
[00:30:11] Well I got two
[00:30:13] This week
[00:30:15] Two fold
[00:30:17] Twofer we're getting a twofer
[00:30:19] Make it quick I'm watching switchback
[00:30:21] Fuuuuck
[00:30:23] Ha ha ha
[00:30:27] Don't
[00:30:29] Don't ask him to explain that again
[00:30:31] I had to answer the morning
[00:30:33] That's how you had to answer the phone
[00:30:35] On Sunday mornings
[00:30:37] That's literally one of his stupid catchphrase
[00:30:39] Because switchback was on cbc
[00:30:41] And if they phoned you during the switchback show
[00:30:43] You say make it quick I want you to switchback
[00:30:45] And they give you a prize
[00:30:47] That's just stupid
[00:30:49] I can't believe you actually watched TV
[00:30:51] I was a kid I didn't know any better
[00:30:53] Anyway the first thing
[00:30:55] Is a rage and disappointment
[00:30:57] Well we went to a movie
[00:30:59] On Monday night at my local cinema
[00:31:01] The one that I usually go to
[00:31:03] Which is close to both me and Bryce
[00:31:05] And newly renovated
[00:31:07] These fancy seats and everything
[00:31:09] Discovered
[00:31:11] That
[00:31:13] The theater on Mondays
[00:31:15] Wednesdays and Thursdays
[00:31:17] Closes down at 7.30
[00:31:19] Basically as soon as the movie starts
[00:31:21] At 7 they close the concession
[00:31:23] Shut down the arcade
[00:31:25] Everything
[00:31:27] I'd like to say this is a new concept
[00:31:29] But it is disturbingly
[00:31:31] Become more popular
[00:31:33] We started with the downtown one
[00:31:35] Which is probably going to be closed in the next
[00:31:37] What two months when they bulldoze it
[00:31:39] But they only had like
[00:31:41] Movies
[00:31:43] Four nights a week
[00:31:45] They didn't have late shows anymore
[00:31:47] Our favorite art house
[00:31:49] Cinema
[00:31:51] Which we spent a lot of time at
[00:31:53] Our buddies at the globe
[00:31:55] I think they only have movies like three nights out of the week
[00:31:57] And how long before
[00:31:59] Most of these theaters are going to be like that
[00:32:01] Preaching the choir mister
[00:32:03] They're only going to be open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays
[00:32:05] That's it
[00:32:07] This is stupid
[00:32:09] So yeah
[00:32:11] I'm disappointed by that
[00:32:13] And of course replacing that
[00:32:15] Is streaming services
[00:32:17] They're slowly taking over the world
[00:32:21] These are not paying attention
[00:32:23] They're playing the dog
[00:32:25] Recently
[00:32:27] I'm trying to get the dog to not destroy the place
[00:32:29] Recently an NFL playoff game
[00:32:31] In the US was streamed only
[00:32:33] On Peacock
[00:32:35] Anybody who wanted to see it had to sign up
[00:32:37] For their streaming service
[00:32:39] To watch a football game that used to be on their regular TV
[00:32:43] What?
[00:32:45] Like in the US they have like four basic channels you can get with an antenna
[00:32:47] They took it off of that
[00:32:49] And put it on a streaming service
[00:32:51] And it was like the chiefs
[00:32:53] Like the most popular team right now
[00:32:55] The chefs
[00:32:57] So basically
[00:32:59] That was one of them
[00:33:01] I just recently read
[00:33:03] That the US is currently playing
[00:33:05] WWE
[00:33:07] As of
[00:33:09] 2025
[00:33:11] Is moving to Netflix
[00:33:13] What?
[00:33:15] It's moving from
[00:33:17] I think now it's on
[00:33:19] USA Network or something
[00:33:21] But it's on Sportsnet here in Canada
[00:33:23] But it's now
[00:33:25] It's not going to be on a streaming service
[00:33:27] I thought it was already on Peacock
[00:33:29] Well not on
[00:33:31] Peacock
[00:33:33] I know but they already are doing that
[00:33:35] But they're moving
[00:33:37] To Netflix
[00:33:39] Which means you gotta spend 20 bucks a month
[00:33:41] Didn't they sign like a zillion year contract with
[00:33:43] Yeah like 5 billion dollars or something
[00:33:45] No they sign it with Netflix
[00:33:47] Like 5 billion dollars or something
[00:33:49] What happened to their contract with NBC
[00:33:51] No idea
[00:33:53] So basically
[00:33:55] People are being forced to sign up
[00:33:57] To watch things they used to watch
[00:33:59] For free
[00:34:01] Yeah when commercials used to pay stuff
[00:34:03] And yeah they don't even have commercial free
[00:34:05] That NFL game which
[00:34:07] You had to pay whatever
[00:34:09] 10-15 dollars to sign up for Peacock to watch
[00:34:11] They still had commercials
[00:34:13] But the
[00:34:15] Point of commercials
[00:34:17] Is to pay for the broadcast
[00:34:19] If you're already signed with a pay for the damn streaming service
[00:34:21] You just listen to the damn
[00:34:23] Announcers talk for two months
[00:34:25] Oh dude you uh
[00:34:27] You just talk about my bitch with stack TV
[00:34:29] So anyway I
[00:34:31] Freakin hate streaming services
[00:34:33] I don't know if I'll ever pay for one
[00:34:35] Uh anyway
[00:34:37] My second minute
[00:34:39] Which is gonna make you guys rage
[00:34:41] I already am raging
[00:34:43] But you know it's coming
[00:34:45] Yes it is of course
[00:34:47] The Oscar nominations
[00:34:49] Which came out on Tuesday
[00:34:51] What are the Oscars
[00:34:53] Is that like a television program
[00:34:55] It's an award show you don't like
[00:34:57] Anyway
[00:34:59] So just to try to make it brief
[00:35:01] Uh of course
[00:35:03] Oppenheimer leads the pack with 13 nominations
[00:35:05] How many nominations has it been
[00:35:07] Affleck have
[00:35:09] Zero because he sucks
[00:35:11] Now we know the Oscars are a shame
[00:35:13] Poor things got 11
[00:35:15] Deserved
[00:35:17] Barbie got 8
[00:35:19] Killers of the flower moon got 10
[00:35:21] Shoulda got 0
[00:35:23] Deserved
[00:35:25] And Maestro got
[00:35:27] 7
[00:35:29] Holdovers American fiction both got
[00:35:31] 5
[00:35:33] Holdovers
[00:35:35] That was excellent
[00:35:37] Just to briefly break it down
[00:35:39] Best actor Brad and Cooper got
[00:35:41] 5,555
[00:35:43] Your guy Coleman Domingo
[00:35:45] Yes
[00:35:47] Paul Giamatti
[00:35:49] He wasn't that good in it
[00:35:51] He's been a way better performance
[00:35:53] By the way I've seen the color purple now
[00:35:55] And Jeffrey Wright got nominated
[00:35:57] Oh yes
[00:35:59] Jeffrey Wright always deserves to be nominated for everything
[00:36:01] Best actress we got Annette Benning from NIAD
[00:36:03] Oh yeah
[00:36:05] And her co-star got nominated
[00:36:07] Jody Foster
[00:36:09] Oh yeah she was good in that
[00:36:11] Jody Foster
[00:36:13] From that Jody Foster movie
[00:36:15] Lily Gladstone would probably win
[00:36:17] Sandra Heuler from Anatomy of a Fall
[00:36:19] Carrie Mulligan
[00:36:21] And Emma Stone from Poor Things
[00:36:23] Nice
[00:36:25] Who I would like to see win but probably won
[00:36:27] Best supporting actor
[00:36:29] Certainly K Brown
[00:36:31] The Nero
[00:36:33] No
[00:36:35] Mr. Downey Jr
[00:36:37] I'm actually
[00:36:39] Sad to say
[00:36:41] He would actually deserve it
[00:36:43] He was so good that for about
[00:36:45] 30 seconds in that when I didn't know
[00:36:47] He was in it I thought he was Jeremy
[00:36:49] There you go
[00:36:51] And as I've said before
[00:36:53] It's probably the only part of that movie I enjoyed
[00:36:55] Was actually Robert Downey Jr
[00:36:57] Which was weird to say because I hate the guy
[00:36:59] And of course
[00:37:01] You know who else has dominated
[00:37:03] Mr. Potato
[00:37:05] In my opinion the only person who deserves to win it
[00:37:07] Because he's never been good in anything
[00:37:09] And he's great in that movie
[00:37:11] And let's not forget our can con
[00:37:13] Which to me will be the highlight
[00:37:15] Of the whole ceremony
[00:37:17] Mr. Ryan Gosling
[00:37:19] Was nominated
[00:37:21] For Best Supporting Actor
[00:37:23] And his song also got nominated
[00:37:25] I swear if they let him sing
[00:37:27] That song at the Oscars
[00:37:29] That will be the best part of the show
[00:37:31] As long as Seemu Liu is on there I don't care
[00:37:33] Wait I'm not even watching it
[00:37:35] Best supporting actress
[00:37:37] Blah blah
[00:37:39] Wait did Alan get anything?
[00:37:41] By the way I don't think it's Best Supporting Actress anymore
[00:37:43] Isn't it Best Supporting Female
[00:37:45] And Supporting Role whatever
[00:37:47] Blah blah blah who cares
[00:37:49] Anyway it's Actress
[00:37:51] Why did Actress become a derogatory mark
[00:37:53] I'm not sure about that one
[00:37:55] I get a lot of stuff but
[00:37:57] I feel sad for the people
[00:37:59] That identify as they
[00:38:01] Whatever they don't have a category
[00:38:03] Yeah well see this is what makes the Oscars
[00:38:05] Still completely stupid
[00:38:07] Besides Jody Foster America forever got nominated
[00:38:09] For Barbie
[00:38:11] No Margot Robbie she missed it
[00:38:13] And also
[00:38:15] For director no Greta Groeweig
[00:38:17] Which was also big slight
[00:38:19] Best animated
[00:38:21] It was actually a two
[00:38:23] Film race between Boy in the Heron
[00:38:25] And the spider-verse
[00:38:27] I can't see the other ones winning
[00:38:29] What are the other ones? They're both good
[00:38:31] I don't know much stuff I never heard of
[00:38:33] Probably stuff I liked
[00:38:35] Maybe I don't watch cartoons
[00:38:37] And of course director we got
[00:38:39] We got Nolan
[00:38:41] We got Lantemos
[00:38:43] But no Greta Groeweig
[00:38:45] And it was a man movie anyway
[00:38:47] Your guys favorite category
[00:38:49] Perfect Days
[00:38:51] Society of the Snow
[00:38:53] I was looking forward to seeing it
[00:38:55] Society of the Snow yeah
[00:38:57] Teachers lounge
[00:38:59] was excellent
[00:39:01] That I don't know what that is
[00:39:03] And this one that hasn't even come out yet
[00:39:05] Zone of interest
[00:39:07] It's been out
[00:39:09] Just not here in our city
[00:39:11] And musical score we got
[00:39:13] 91 year old John Williams
[00:39:15] nominated
[00:39:17] For Indiana Jones
[00:39:19] And American Fiction
[00:39:21] And Killers of the Flower Moon
[00:39:23] And Oppenheimer and Poor Things
[00:39:25] Actually I would say
[00:39:27] The only thing I liked about
[00:39:29] Killers of the Flower Moon was this
[00:39:31] Music
[00:39:33] And lastly
[00:39:35] Best Picture
[00:39:37] American Fiction
[00:39:39] Anatomy of the Fall
[00:39:41] Barbie
[00:39:43] The Holdovers
[00:39:45] Maestro
[00:39:47] Oppenheimer
[00:39:49] Past Lives
[00:39:51] Poor Things
[00:39:53] And Zone of Interest
[00:39:55] We're looking forward to seeing it
[00:39:57] Watch or not
[00:39:59] That's your peril I'm probably
[00:40:01] Watching except I have to work for an hour and a half
[00:40:03] Whatever
[00:40:07] What?
[00:40:09] I don't think you did
[00:40:11] I just thought it was funny
[00:40:13] Funny you went in your head
[00:40:15] Are you going to share with the class or no?
[00:40:17] I could if you want to
[00:40:19] Yeah sure tell us
[00:40:21] Apparently when they were making
[00:40:23] We Are the World
[00:40:25] Oh you're talking about this again
[00:40:27] I didn't hear it
[00:40:29] Paul Simon says
[00:40:31] If they dropped a bomb on this place
[00:40:33] John Denver would be at the top of the charts again
[00:40:37] What?
[00:40:39] Because all the talent was in one room
[00:40:41] Ouch that was an insult
[00:40:43] That is an insult
[00:40:45] Whoa
[00:40:47] Paul Simon
[00:40:49] Paul Simon you're terrible
[00:40:51] I could be misquoting it
[00:40:53] I'm pretty sure it was Paul Simon
[00:40:55] I'm like a hundred percent sure
[00:40:57] Those are only Americans
[00:40:59] There's a whole series
[00:41:01] Yeah there was Band-Aid going on
[00:41:03] Exactly
[00:41:05] Wait wasn't there a Canadian song
[00:41:07] They put out to?
[00:41:09] Yeah it's not enough
[00:41:11] Don't you know
[00:41:13] The teams are not enough
[00:41:15] That was a better song
[00:41:17] Exactly totally was
[00:41:19] I don't know who wrote it
[00:41:21] Of the three songs they were all pretty awful
[00:41:23] So
[00:41:25] I'm gonna go with
[00:41:27] None of them
[00:41:29] Yeah okay
[00:41:33] Moving on
[00:41:35] Temperature rising
[00:41:37] Dition blurring
[00:41:41] Rage taking over
[00:41:43] But they all did a lot of good
[00:41:45] I'm glad they raised a lot of money
[00:41:47] They did they raised us
[00:41:49] Even though they were awful
[00:41:51] And Bob Geldorf
[00:41:53] Geldorf is amazing
[00:41:55] He is amazing
[00:41:57] He actually yeah I never mind
[00:41:59] I feel like I'm talking too much
[00:42:01] Gaur
[00:42:03] And most of the stuff you're saying is pretty stupid
[00:42:05] Tonight
[00:42:07] Which actually makes me laugh
[00:42:09] That is to be debated
[00:42:13] I would sign on the fact that
[00:42:15] What I'm saying today is actually rather intelligent
[00:42:19] People will share it with us
[00:42:21] And play back
[00:42:23] Okay so my rage this week
[00:42:25] Is space movies without aliens
[00:42:29] Like why bother
[00:42:31] I actually hate
[00:42:33] Science based space movies
[00:42:35] I like science fiction
[00:42:37] Space movies
[00:42:39] I like fantasy movies also
[00:42:41] But I don't like science
[00:42:43] But it's a science fiction
[00:42:45] Fantasy movie
[00:42:47] That's why I love it so much
[00:42:49] I also like the book
[00:42:51] And I like the original with Sting
[00:42:53] Um yeah my
[00:42:55] My rage this week is space movies
[00:42:57] Like that are based on science
[00:42:59] First off
[00:43:01] I've never seen one that is
[00:43:03] Potentially accurate
[00:43:05] How do you know
[00:43:07] You're no space expert
[00:43:09] I know science because I was a science
[00:43:11] Genius as a child
[00:43:13] I was one of those children that traveled the world
[00:43:15] Doing science facts
[00:43:17] I think I was actually
[00:43:19] Pretty close to Bill Nye
[00:43:21] Once
[00:43:23] At an event I went to
[00:43:25] Steel's bow tie
[00:43:27] But I got to brush my hand
[00:43:29] Against his pant leg
[00:43:31] You know the
[00:43:33] Ring announcer Michael Buffer
[00:43:35] Let's get ready to rumble
[00:43:37] One time when I was in Vegas
[00:43:39] I actually crossed right in front of his row
[00:43:41] And the guy like breathed in my nose almost
[00:43:43] Nice
[00:43:45] And he has the mintiest fresh breath
[00:43:47] You've ever smelled in your life
[00:43:49] It's been fresh
[00:43:51] He has to care of his mouth
[00:43:53] And he had like a beautiful blonde
[00:43:55] On each arm
[00:43:57] I was like I think I was 18 at the time
[00:43:59] Sure it was one of his brothers
[00:44:01] I wish I was an announcer
[00:44:03] This guy is my hero
[00:44:05] Fresh breath and two young ladies
[00:44:07] And a hot girl on each arm
[00:44:09] That's right
[00:44:11] But man that was the mintiest fresh breath I've ever smelled
[00:44:13] If it was in Vegas
[00:44:15] Sorry what were you talking about
[00:44:17] If it was in Vegas they may have been working girls
[00:44:19] Just saying
[00:44:21] But you know what I know
[00:44:23] Science movies
[00:44:25] Science based
[00:44:27] Science fiction
[00:44:29] Science movies
[00:44:31] Here's a question I have for you
[00:44:33] How did we get from there to Michael Buffer's breath
[00:44:35] You don't want to mention it
[00:44:37] Cause I said I touched
[00:44:39] The pant leg of Bill Lye
[00:44:41] I knew he tried to one up me
[00:44:43] Which doesn't even come close
[00:44:45] To anything
[00:44:47] Bill Nye's pant leg
[00:44:49] Did it smell minty fresh
[00:44:51] You know what it didn't need to smell
[00:44:53] It was Bill Nye's pant leg
[00:44:55] I got his pant leg
[00:44:57] And he became smarter
[00:44:59] That's right just by being in his presence
[00:45:01] Wow
[00:45:03] I hate to see if you didn't touch his pant leg
[00:45:05] Exactly
[00:45:07] And here you are walking around
[00:45:09] With not even fresh minty breath
[00:45:11] No my breath smells horrible
[00:45:13] You gotta quit making up with your dog
[00:45:15] Wait I want to change my rage this week
[00:45:17] It's Bryce
[00:45:19] Bryce's breath
[00:45:21] No it's just Bryce
[00:45:23] His diarrhea of the mouth tonight
[00:45:25] I don't know what you're talking about
[00:45:27] Well cause it stopped coming out his ass
[00:45:29] And now it's clear
[00:45:31] Genius is coming out
[00:45:37] My rage is the same as Murray's
[00:45:39] Just to let you know if theaters are like closing down on weird nights
[00:45:41] And no late shows
[00:45:43] And gaps in the schedule
[00:45:45] And I just want to get back
[00:45:47] Everybody go to the theater
[00:45:49] My rage is that you're not going to the theater
[00:45:51] I know I've rage about it before
[00:45:53] But go watch a movie in the theater
[00:45:55] It's just so much better
[00:45:57] Just go
[00:45:59] Go right now
[00:46:01] Wait until the end of the podcast
[00:46:03] And then go right to a movie
[00:46:05] Even if it's ISS
[00:46:07] Don't go to the ISS
[00:46:09] Whatever
[00:46:11] Whatever
[00:46:13] Just go
[00:46:15] Go to the freaking
[00:46:17] Some piece of garbage
[00:46:19] Aquaman
[00:46:21] I don't care
[00:46:23] I just want to see butts in seats
[00:46:25] Although let's maybe
[00:46:27] Stay away from the Marvel DC stuff
[00:46:29] Disney has enough money
[00:46:31] They don't need anymore
[00:46:33] Exactly
[00:46:35] Anyway
[00:46:37] I forgot what my rage was
[00:46:39] So not everything you said tonight
[00:46:41] That's good
[00:46:43] He stole from me
[00:46:45] I just regurgitated what Murray said
[00:46:47] So he still stood because he didn't have an original idea
[00:46:49] I love it
[00:46:51] Rage subsiding
[00:46:53] Pulse
[00:46:55] Slowing
[00:46:57] Finger feeding
[00:47:01] Alright
[00:47:03] We're back with the lists
[00:47:05] For those of you who
[00:47:07] Are just listening for the first time
[00:47:09] Welcome aboard
[00:47:11] This week is exceptionally
[00:47:13] Feels like the very first time
[00:47:15] Feels like the very first time
[00:47:17] Is that a crappy band too?
[00:47:19] It's another crappy band
[00:47:21] Is it Forerunner?
[00:47:23] It's either Forerunner
[00:47:25] They're all the same
[00:47:27] They're all crappy
[00:47:29] Chicago
[00:47:31] Go to our website
[00:47:33] And look at
[00:47:35] The list page
[00:47:37] I think it was the 4th of July
[00:47:39] That's Chicago
[00:47:41] Yeah that's a good song
[00:47:43] This is not a music broadcast
[00:47:45] We're not talking like 84 on Chicago
[00:47:47] We're talking pre-84
[00:47:49] Chicago and they were good
[00:47:51] With the horns and the whole deal
[00:47:53] Back when they only had one album?
[00:47:55] No, no, they had a few
[00:47:57] What are you talking about?
[00:47:59] They've been around a lot longer
[00:48:01] Oh no it was Boston
[00:48:03] That only had one album
[00:48:05] That was literally called Stage 3 or something
[00:48:09] That was the first one
[00:48:11] No, no, the first one
[00:48:13] It's called Boston
[00:48:15] Okay let's get back to what we were talking about
[00:48:17] Everybody go look at our website
[00:48:19] FilmRageYYC.com
[00:48:21] Let's get advice here
[00:48:23] Look at the page called The Lists
[00:48:25] On there you will find 5 lists
[00:48:27] One is the mesmerized
[00:48:29] One is the repulsive
[00:48:31] One is doubted and one is undoubted
[00:48:33] And the last list
[00:48:35] Fairly new is people that were once mesmerizing
[00:48:37] Who got punted and then who punted them
[00:48:41] And last week
[00:48:43] Emma Stone got punted
[00:48:45] By Olivia Coleman
[00:48:47] Oh yeah
[00:48:49] That's right
[00:48:51] It seems like a waste to me
[00:48:53] And so Murray dared us
[00:48:55] Well Bryce thought it was a dare
[00:48:57] Asked us to see the mesmerizing
[00:48:59] Russell Crowe
[00:49:01] Completely mesmerizing for life
[00:49:03] So he didn't count
[00:49:05] Who was left
[00:49:07] Was Joaquin Phoenix
[00:49:09] And Dement Honsu
[00:49:13] And I'll let Bryce
[00:49:15] I will let Bryce tell you
[00:49:17] Who is more mesmerizing
[00:49:19] In his opinion
[00:49:23] It was
[00:49:25] Joaquin Phoenix
[00:49:27] Yeah
[00:49:29] I'm sorry
[00:49:31] Dement Honsu just had kind of a
[00:49:33] You know they both had
[00:49:35] Joaquin Phoenix had more screen time
[00:49:37] But they both had enough screen time
[00:49:39] And
[00:49:41] Dement Honsu was just
[00:49:43] He was just there
[00:49:45] Like he was just there
[00:49:47] He didn't sink his teeth into the roll
[00:49:49] He didn't make an impression on me
[00:49:51] He warms your cockles of your heart
[00:49:53] He has a smile that is genuine
[00:49:55] But you know what
[00:49:57] Dement Honsu just set out to make
[00:49:59] You absolutely hate him
[00:50:01] And you know what
[00:50:03] You did and he absolutely succeeded
[00:50:05] And why?
[00:50:07] Because he was so damn mesmerizing
[00:50:09] That's a back ass word
[00:50:11] Opinion though
[00:50:13] He did exactly what the roll called for
[00:50:15] So I don't understand how you could
[00:50:17] How can you hate somebody who's so good at it
[00:50:19] Do you want no villains in movies
[00:50:21] So if someone plays a villain
[00:50:23] You no longer like them
[00:50:25] I've hated him in everything he's been in
[00:50:27] I kid you not
[00:50:29] Because he plays a good
[00:50:31] There was one movie
[00:50:33] Sorry that wasn't even him
[00:50:35] It was his brother nevermind
[00:50:37] Except okay one thing
[00:50:39] I ever liked Joaquin Phoenix
[00:50:41] Ever
[00:50:43] As Johnny Cash
[00:50:45] He was okay as Johnny Cash
[00:50:47] It wasn't his best movie
[00:50:49] That's it
[00:50:51] I've hated him in everything else
[00:50:53] I'm going to agree with Bryce
[00:50:55] That he was more mesmerizing
[00:50:57] However Murray his first scene
[00:50:59] He was not as mesmerizing as I was expecting
[00:51:01] Because he was a twerp back then
[00:51:03] Uh
[00:51:05] No he was like the emperor's son
[00:51:07] Or whatever
[00:51:09] Joaquin Phoenix is the
[00:51:11] What emperor is he the son of
[00:51:13] Whoever you took over from
[00:51:15] I didn't understand Joaquin Phoenix
[00:51:17] Came from royalty
[00:51:19] His character Max
[00:51:21] What's his name
[00:51:23] Commodius
[00:51:25] Commode
[00:51:27] The Commodores
[00:51:29] Whatever his shit character was
[00:51:31] Was a little shithead
[00:51:33] That was risky
[00:51:35] They paid off
[00:51:37] They didn't even give an asshole
[00:51:39] The first scene he was in
[00:51:41] He was a little shithead
[00:51:43] You have to be thinking
[00:51:45] There's no way that he's going to have the success
[00:51:47] He had with the Commodores
[00:51:49] He actually surpassed it
[00:51:51] And at that off of that
[00:51:53] All Night Long album
[00:51:55] I think he got like 6 or 7 Grammys
[00:51:57] It was crazy
[00:51:59] Murray is there a way you can reduce Bryce out of the
[00:52:01] Mix
[00:52:03] I would love to get rid of him
[00:52:05] I said Diarrhea the mom
[00:52:07] I'm bringing the info today
[00:52:09] You're just rambling
[00:52:11] You're just talking about
[00:52:13] Random thoughts come to your head
[00:52:15] I'm spouting on things you guys are bringing up
[00:52:17] Guys you don't have to watch
[00:52:19] Did Mahansu anymore
[00:52:21] Honsu in his next matchup
[00:52:23] Which would have been Constantine
[00:52:25] Constantine
[00:52:27] We already watched Constantine
[00:52:29] Did you compare him to Peter Stormer
[00:52:31] He wasn't in it long enough
[00:52:33] That's where we lost Tilda Swinton
[00:52:35] That's where we lost Tilda Swinton
[00:52:37] We lost Tilda Swinton against
[00:52:39] Peter Stormer
[00:52:41] He is actually still around
[00:52:43] In a few movies
[00:52:45] Yeah, because he's mesmerizing
[00:52:47] I could really do this to you guys
[00:52:49] I'm not going to
[00:52:51] You do whatever you think is best
[00:52:53] I'm gonna do it then
[00:52:55] Okay
[00:52:57] Bring it on
[00:52:59] Yes
[00:53:01] There was quickly running out of things to be in here
[00:53:03] Let's do it then
[00:53:05] Jeff Goldblum
[00:53:07] Is Jeff still on our list
[00:53:09] As far as I know he was
[00:53:11] Yeah, he's in like 3 movies here
[00:53:13] Yeah, but is Jeff Goldblum
[00:53:15] Did he survive
[00:53:17] I don't think he got taken off
[00:53:19] This is the last time I printed off
[00:53:21] As of November
[00:53:23] I don't remember him being off
[00:53:25] I don't remember watching a Jeff Goldblum movie
[00:53:27] I don't think he's ever been challenged
[00:53:29] He's still on it
[00:53:31] Anyway
[00:53:33] Lost World Jurassic
[00:53:35] They are both in it and they both have more than 5 minutes
[00:53:37] Yeah
[00:53:39] So there
[00:53:41] Is kind of a biscuit
[00:53:43] I think I've watched this like in the last couple years
[00:53:45] Like in the last couple years
[00:53:47] So I gotta watch it again
[00:53:49] What is that?
[00:53:51] Is that Jurassic Park 3?
[00:53:53] 2
[00:53:55] The second one
[00:53:57] Oh yeah, that was one more
[00:53:59] Jeff Goldblum
[00:54:01] Lisa wasn't Jurassic Park 3 because that was
[00:54:03] Really awful
[00:54:05] They're all awful
[00:54:07] There's levels of awfulness though
[00:54:09] Yeah, it sure did
[00:54:11] And Taillione
[00:54:13] Yeah, Taillione was enough to murder
[00:54:15] He didn't want to be eaten by dinosaurs
[00:54:17] Speaking of repulsive
[00:54:19] And she's not in this one right
[00:54:21] So the
[00:54:23] These things are looking up
[00:54:25] Thanks for looking up
[00:54:27] Okay, well I'm excited
[00:54:29] And Jeff Goldblum
[00:54:31] So when do I have to watch this by?
[00:54:33] For next week
[00:54:35] Oh for crying out loud
[00:54:37] Perfect, let's do it
[00:54:41] Alright then
[00:54:43] But I don't have to do a Rage or Dare this week
[00:54:45] Oh yes, you're gonna find out
[00:54:47] You're gonna find out
[00:54:55] Last week on
[00:54:57] Rage or Dare
[00:54:59] Jim decided to chance fate
[00:55:01] And pull from Bryce's evil bag of musicals
[00:55:03] And rom-coms
[00:55:05] Where he pulled the 2009 film
[00:55:07] Did you hear about the Morgans?
[00:55:09] This week
[00:55:11] Our two little masochists don't get a choice
[00:55:13] They are pulling from our listener
[00:55:15] Dare bag or lately what they are fond of calling
[00:55:17] The listener bag of me
[00:55:19] Cause apparently
[00:55:21] They like to dare us to see movies that
[00:55:23] Aren't that terrible, they're just
[00:55:25] Eh
[00:55:27] Eh
[00:55:29] Now let's check in with Jim and find out
[00:55:31] If the great and powerful sex kitten
[00:55:33] Hugh Grant can overpower
[00:55:35] His purely repulsive feelings for
[00:55:37] SJP
[00:55:39] What say you Jim?
[00:55:41] Oompa loompa doompe dee doo
[00:55:45] I've got a tragic tale for you
[00:55:49] Oompa loompa doompe dee dee
[00:55:52] If you are wise you'll listen to me
[00:55:56] Mwahahahaha
[00:55:59] Come on, I want more of that
[00:56:01] Alright, alright
[00:56:03] Do not get enough oompa-loopa singing from the Casey
[00:56:05] Good job, Casey
[00:56:06] That was awesome
[00:56:07] Casey is always awesome
[00:56:08] Don't question the power
[00:56:10] Wait a second
[00:56:12] So you actually did a
[00:56:14] Rage your dare movie for like the first time in a year
[00:56:16] Like by yourself it wasn't like a
[00:56:18] First time this year? Yeah
[00:56:20] Cause I don't remember like
[00:56:22] The last time you did a rage your dare
[00:56:24] Seems to be me every week
[00:56:26] All you have to do is go on our website
[00:56:28] And see who does what
[00:56:30] That would require him actually using computers
[00:56:32] Yeah we know what happens
[00:56:34] It never ends well
[00:56:36] Well let me tell you
[00:56:38] I hooked up an Apple 4K the other day
[00:56:40] That was a nightmare
[00:56:42] Did either of you
[00:56:44] Hear about the Morgans?
[00:56:46] I did not
[00:56:47] I heard about them
[00:56:48] Alright, well at what point in the universe
[00:56:50] Did anyone think that seeing
[00:56:52] Sarah Jessica Parker
[00:56:54] Doing anything would be anything
[00:56:56] But repulsive
[00:56:58] I mean I've seen her
[00:57:00] Repulsive before in movies
[00:57:02] I mean we were forced to watch her
[00:57:04] In both Sex and the City films
[00:57:06] But this film
[00:57:08] Takes her level of annoying
[00:57:10] To a whole new level
[00:57:12] Yeah it does
[00:57:14] When you throw one of the most
[00:57:16] Adorable and likeable people
[00:57:18] You grant
[00:57:20] Into a movie with her
[00:57:22] Just imagine what the cold dead moons
[00:57:24] Of Saturn would feel like
[00:57:26] Circling a gaseous poisonous
[00:57:28] Mass of deadness
[00:57:30] First to know
[00:57:32] This starts out where our hero
[00:57:34] Is the flash most adorable
[00:57:36] Oompa Loompa that's ever lived
[00:57:38] Trying to get back
[00:57:40] With SJP
[00:57:42] Cause he cheated on her
[00:57:44] And they are separated
[00:57:46] So right away I'm like
[00:57:48] How believable is this
[00:57:50] That he would want
[00:57:52] To get back together with her
[00:57:54] Mmm
[00:57:56] When logic dictates
[00:57:58] That he had the opportunity to run as fast
[00:58:00] Away from her
[00:58:02] And he would be like
[00:58:04] A trash or potentially a Superman
[00:58:06] Or any other superhero could take him
[00:58:08] Cause you know he's Hugh Grant
[00:58:10] He's like a superhero of awesomeness
[00:58:12] But once I got over that fact
[00:58:14] That they were
[00:58:16] Spending the entire movie together
[00:58:18] And not away from each other
[00:58:20] Which is what I thought it was going to happen
[00:58:22] I get to see him by himself
[00:58:24] And then I settle into the story
[00:58:28] I was just as repulsed
[00:58:30] They see some guy get killed
[00:58:34] And then the killer is a professional killer
[00:58:36] So he tries to kill SJP
[00:58:38] And not Hugh Grant for some reason
[00:58:40] Smart man
[00:58:42] So I'm already on team killer
[00:58:44] That's what I'm saying right there
[00:58:46] So they get put into witness relocation
[00:58:48] In Wyoming
[00:58:50] But not before SJP spends some time
[00:58:52] Trying to be funny by saying
[00:58:54] She would rather die in New York
[00:58:56] Before going anywhere else
[00:58:58] Like isn't that funny?
[00:59:00] That makes perfect sense
[00:59:02] Isn't that funny?
[00:59:04] Doesn't that make you laugh?
[00:59:06] When she delivers a line I'm sure it was
[00:59:08] You're probably not doing it justice
[00:59:10] No I think I am
[00:59:12] Her whole stick in this
[00:59:14] Is that she is a New York socialite
[00:59:16] I know that's her stick in a lot of things
[00:59:18] Does that sound familiar actually?
[00:59:20] Yeah I think it does
[00:59:22] And her going to Wyoming
[00:59:24] Is going to be funny right?
[00:59:26] That's where Hicks are right?
[00:59:28] Fish out of water
[00:59:30] This then takes the rest of the movie
[00:59:32] With this one note
[00:59:34] As the entire premise
[00:59:36] It's like reverse Beverly Hillbillies
[00:59:38] Here's a clue it's not funny
[00:59:40] She's repulsive through the entire movie
[00:59:42] And if you have to go with her
[00:59:44] Anywhere I would prefer
[00:59:46] I was killed in New York as well
[00:59:48] The sad thing in this
[00:59:50] Is the music is pretty good
[00:59:52] And Hugh
[00:59:54] Being caught in her orbit
[00:59:56] Didn't have much chance to be adorable
[00:59:58] But Mary Steenburgen
[01:00:00] Michael Kelly Vincent
[01:00:02] And Sam Elliott did a pretty good job
[01:00:04] In their roles because they did not
[01:00:06] Have to be in her orbit nearly as much
[01:00:08] Really Mary Steenburgen that's surprising
[01:00:10] Because she's
[01:00:12] Not terrific
[01:00:14] She's actually not bad in this
[01:00:16] How do you judge anything?
[01:00:18] Everything above SJP
[01:00:20] Is like 27%
[01:00:22] More better
[01:00:24] But just like fate
[01:00:28] Nothing could save this film from being
[01:00:30] Anything but annoying
[01:00:32] With the power of the most annoying and repulsive
[01:00:34] Actor that has ever lived
[01:00:36] Well maybe tied with Julia Roberts
[01:00:38] But well played Bryce
[01:00:40] This was complete
[01:00:42] Torture
[01:00:44] And again I subjected my wife
[01:00:46] To the first 15 minutes of it
[01:00:48] To what point she said
[01:00:50] This is repulsive
[01:00:52] I have left words
[01:00:54] I saw it in the theater by the way
[01:00:56] Yeah so did I
[01:00:58] Originally I forgot that I had actually
[01:01:00] Seen it
[01:01:02] Also this is a rage by the way
[01:01:04] It was so painful and it's hurting
[01:01:06] My insides
[01:01:08] I was pretty happy when you pulled it
[01:01:10] But here's an example of some humor
[01:01:12] So
[01:01:14] I can't breathe
[01:01:16] The air's too clean
[01:01:18] You picture her saying it
[01:01:20] She's a socialite from New York
[01:01:22] She's in the country
[01:01:24] That's funny
[01:01:26] Here's another one
[01:01:28] Should get you
[01:01:30] That's funny a week ago
[01:01:32] She was basically Amish
[01:01:34] Yeah I get it
[01:01:36] Neither did I
[01:01:38] And that's why it wasn't funny
[01:01:40] This movie is terrible
[01:01:42] Yeah it is
[01:01:44] I knew there was another reason
[01:01:46] Why I hated you this week
[01:01:48] And not just because you're annoying
[01:01:50] Because you made me watch that
[01:01:52] Adoying, entertaining
[01:01:54] Potato, potato, potato
[01:01:56] Little Columbi
[01:01:58] Okay so we get to choose from our
[01:02:00] We haven't got much from our audience anymore
[01:02:02] I might have to reach out to some audience
[01:02:04] And say hey we need some
[01:02:06] Rages
[01:02:08] Brace and I will be watching
[01:02:10] Oh
[01:02:12] Fast and the Furious 6
[01:02:14] Off
[01:02:16] Okay I think there should be a new rule
[01:02:18] That we can't just
[01:02:20] Put Fast and the Furious movies
[01:02:22] Here's the thing okay
[01:02:24] We'll do the Fast and Furious 6
[01:02:26] And then like six weeks later
[01:02:28] We'll do Fast and Furious 4
[01:02:30] And then we'll pull Fast and Furious 6 again
[01:02:32] And we won't know the difference
[01:02:34] We'll just watch it again
[01:02:36] Because we have no freaking clue
[01:02:38] That we'd already watched the other ones
[01:02:40] Because they're all the same
[01:02:42] No 9 they went to space
[01:02:44] You gave Fast and the Furious 10
[01:02:46] A man
[01:02:48] So no one's gonna dare us to see that one
[01:02:50] Is that the one with Momoa?
[01:02:52] No Momoa was the last one
[01:02:54] That was 10
[01:02:56] Didn't I give it to the man?
[01:02:58] I didn't give the 9 to the man
[01:03:00] I gave that a rage
[01:03:02] 10 I gave him that
[01:03:04] It is by far the best Fast and the Furious movie
[01:03:06] Ever Made
[01:03:08] I don't know how do you judge that
[01:03:10] It's like you and your
[01:03:12] What's his name?
[01:03:14] Curve that you've got
[01:03:16] Affleck
[01:03:18] Affleck doesn't need a curve
[01:03:20] He's terrible in everything
[01:03:22] So what's his name again?
[01:03:24] I don't know
[01:03:26] Oh, Gerard Butler Curve
[01:03:28] That's why I've got a Gerard Butler Curve
[01:03:32] Just for me?
[01:03:34] Well partly
[01:03:36] Because I don't want you to make a poo poo face every time I give him a rage
[01:03:38] Oh it's a Gerard Butler Curve
[01:03:40] He gets the occasional math
[01:03:42] What you did in the last movie
[01:03:44] Mission Kandahar
[01:03:46] Because here's the thing Murray
[01:03:48] I think that Gerard Butler is a good actor
[01:03:50] I do too
[01:03:52] I just think he chooses awful awful awful awful movies
[01:03:56] And I don't understand why
[01:03:58] Because I don't think he's a bad actor
[01:04:00] I find him highly entertaining
[01:04:02] So I have decided to now rate his movies on a curve
[01:04:04] And I love his accent
[01:04:06] The Gerard Butler Curve
[01:04:08] Yeah, hashtag the Gerard Butler Curve
[01:04:10] Alright well
[01:04:12] We got our assignments for next week
[01:04:14] And who knows what we're going to be coming back with
[01:04:16] In new and cinemas
[01:04:18] Probably something surprising
