[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was very PG-13 which is fine but if you're going to be PG-13

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_00]: you have to be funny.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Well if you're going to have a PG-13 horror movie you've got to have something

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I think one of the songs in this kind of sums it up pretty good.

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_00]: There was that too.

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah because there is a lot of Christmas and a lot of murder

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_03]: but not nearly enough just in long.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry the mesmerizing just in long.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_03]: It was still the most mesmerizing thing in this movie.

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_03]: You get on the poster but you don't get the screen time.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Why is this still playing?

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_03]: This has all the great things you want in a slasher.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_03]: homage to a classic Christmas movie including but not limited to references to the original

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_03]: plus it's kind of doing a parent trapped version of It's a Wonderful Life.

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Right?

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a wonderful life.

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure.

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_03]: This has some pretty violent murders and the story ideas is fun but the comedy points hit

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_03]: not so well.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_03]: The story has all the typical teenage tropes because it's a story based in high school or

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_03]: universe.

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_03]: So you get the jocks, the cool kids and of course the weirdo which is kind of the

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_03]: traditional high school universe which also makes it the story a little bit predictable

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_03]: and just like most slasher's they're predictable.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Any high school universe films you just seem to have not only the tropes but also this

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_03]: fantastic predictability that we get and also just like most slasher's it's fun

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_03]: to scream at the screen don't be stupid or run faster or kill your dad etc.

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to give away too many spoilers but they throw in a little bit of a red herring

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_03]: that is also so predictable but the kills are fun and we got just enough

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_03]: just and long and even though there was no angel named Clarence in this the

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_03]: weirdo who takes their place of the role of Clarence did a pretty good job and a pretty

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_03]: good job of helping our heroine to learn the value of

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_03]: maybe it's whoever murders the murderer has a value and should never wish to have been

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_03]: never been born because murdering murders is a good thing is that the moral Murray sure

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Bryce would you think something pretty good moral that's not a moral sounds like it

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't love the ending part that kind of wraps this up but this is a film that

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_03]: still gets a memory Christmas panda verse man is terrible I wish it had less

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_03]: story and more murder but for a slasher Christmas film I'm not those worth the watch

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_03]: and but if your favorite film that is happens to take place in Christmas time is

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_03]: a wonderful life you maybe maybe like it a little more I'm not sure what you think

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Mer well just and long was awesome he was I loved him being bad because yes

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_01]: he had this whole Donald Trump thing going on with the bad hair and the too much tanning

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_01]: spray spray yep and just being just an asshole the whole movie and he hasn't

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: usually do that usually easy he's a nice guy yeah he plays that kind of awkward

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_01]: nice guy yeah no he's always been like the nerdy you know lovable guy yeah

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: last two movies I've seen him in he hasn't been that so he's had been

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_03]: stretching his his acting chops a little I wish I could say the same for the rest

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_01]: of the movie what Murray yeah I appreciate the fact they actually didn't shy away

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_03]: from the violence yeah I thought the violence was pretty good as I keep

[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_01]: saying PG horror movies are horrible and I I just I hate watching them at least

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_01]: this one John Murray at least this one even if the story obviously wasn't that

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: great I did enjoy the kills yeah kills were good when they happen and we're no

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_01]: weirdo was weird yeah she was weird she's awesome I liked her and the whole

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_01]: lesbian love angle was interesting yeah not really it's kind of sprinkled in for

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_01]: pandiverse yeah the whole panda pandiverse tits a little bit

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah I and I'm probably one of the few people on the planet who didn't like it's

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_01]: a wonderful life I just I don't that's one of the few curse movies I don't

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_01]: like hmm I don't know I just because it's depressing for three quarters of the

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_00]: movie yes that's why it's so good so good so I bring you down but then it

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_00]: lifts you see I don't like me down but it doesn't it lifts you up at the

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_00]: end or yeah well but it was down for a lot of the movie it's down for a lot

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_00]: of the murder that's what makes it up so effective I enjoy Christmas movies that

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_00]: are uplifting the whole my no sweet is not the way to go yeah yeah yeah don't you

[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_03]: like earnest saves Christmas because they say Christmas there was some down in

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_01]: there's a lot of down in it there was yeah there was cuz Ernest is always up

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_01]: everybody else around it may be jerks but he Ernest is always Ernest all right

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_01]: no I just can't give anything more than a rage all right double rage here we got a

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_03]: we got a rage sandwich no we got a mess sandwich with some rage bread hmm ho

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_03]: hoar hoar all right we also got to see for our crampus movie this year in Fondo

[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_03]: El Bosco or as known in English deep in the woods that's incorrect it's actually

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_03]: deep in the wood oh there's not plurally woods it's just a wood yeah all

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_03]: right fantastic aren't you glad that I corrected you know well now I know

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_03]: because I thought it was deep in the woods knowing the battle knowing is half

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_03]: knowing is half the battle it's true if you have a crampus festival in your town

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_03]: and then crampus does what he does best take children is this really crampus's

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_03]: fault you're literally asking crampus to show up to steal your children

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_03]: hmm right true well according to this film no no it isn't his fault it's his

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_03]: father's fault and not just because he is suspicious but because they showed the

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_03]: father as a total dick for the entire movie was he pretty much yeah I don't

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_00]: understand that well I didn't watch the same movie I didn't think he was a

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_01]: total dick yeah he was told it's a pretty much the whole movie five

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_01]: minutes in he basically pushed his own kid down on the ground yeah a few yeah he

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_01]: was a dick for the whole basically you wanted his didn't want anything to do with

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_01]: this kid that's right so he basically gave basically what his fault the kid ran away

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_03]: and got that's right and got crampus so who brings a four-year-old obviously

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_03]: naughty because this kid was a little brat to a festival where crampus is

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_03]: the victim here and here comes a bit of a spoiler so get ready for this if you

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_03]: haven't seen this movie on top of that every single person in the town kills

[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_03]: this kid at least once yes where I was expecting crampus to be the evil one but

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I think crampus came to see how evil one town could truly be although

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_03]: crampus plays sort of a small part in this film he is by far the victim and

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_03]: also the hero of this tale hmm this I'm gonna call it in quotes but crampus

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_03]: crampus universe film is not ultimately much about our sovereign lord of evil

[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_03]: it's about a town that lives with the lore of crampus and apparently a lot of

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_03]: kids in Europe die every minute but not by crampus unfortunately this was a really

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_03]: fun little mystery that happens to take place in a town by a crampus festival

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_03]: where apparently a lot of fathers get drunk and lose their kids yep or if

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_03]: that's not what's happening the kids get killed by town folk because they're

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_03]: all fucking idiots I really really like this movie I thought it was great it was

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_03]: it was good a lot of good it was man nice what do you think where this was not a

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_01]: crampus movie what yeah no crampus was in there right at the beginning it was

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_01]: idiot adults dressed up in costumes oh yeah see the definition of crampus that's

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_01]: this evil Christmas spirit who punishes naughty children that's the problem I

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: have right there what the children were not the naughty ones it was the parents

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_01]: if crampus had come back to exact revenge and killed the asshole parents

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: and all the other then I wouldn't be actually enjoyed this and as far as I

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_01]: can tell nobody actually died in this movie there was no carnage there was

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_01]: no slicing open of organs there was nothing that is supposed to be a crampus

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: movie no just except for a kid good story tell 90 minutes a boring ass crap what

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_01]: where at the end oh this person actually was the person that falls yeah it was a

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_01]: rage I hated it in Fondo al Bosco whatever and

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_00]: subtitles yeah I hate subtitles you know what this was a really well developed

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_00]: character driven movie you got to know every single character you got to know

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00]: their motivations the twist is caught me off guard I did not see it coming the

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_00]: fact that we had all these red herrings and they were all effective in my eyes

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah this was some superior writing it was the second best crampus movie that's

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_00]: ever been made that we've seen so far the acting was tremendous even the

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_03]: little kid I liked yeah because you know what he's not an American kid yeah and

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_00]: the hope of him being a good actor what you're talking about it wasn't the worst

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_00]: father ever why is everybody piling on the father who's the mother was terrible

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_00]: talking about she was a drug he was horrible every adult this movie well

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_00]: they were not very much everybody in this town was terrible painted this town

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_03]: with a pretty negative brush that's right crampus should be coming here is

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_00]: what I'm hearing yeah no I actually enjoyed this a lot not to the point

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_00]: where it's Mondo yeah but it was close it was very close really really close for

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_00]: me because it was in it was such a well-made movie too I mean this wasn't

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_00]: something that was just slapped together this this was yeah this was a good this

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_03]: was a good mystery actually it was it was out and you know actually what I think

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I'd liked about the end is cuz you still don't know if crampus is part

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_00]: of this or not well I don't know about that but anyway there's he did a bunch of

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_03]: stuff that was pretty crampus he before they got to the part where they you don't

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_00]: know where these crampus are not in and at the end of the day in Fondo El Bosco

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_00]: deep in the wood is is a man it's a it's a high man I really really quite

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_00]: enjoyed it I also would have enjoyed it more if you know towards the end I

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_00]: didn't get like nine phone calls and people pounding on my door excuse us

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_03]: wanting to actually do the broadcast yeah exactly or how about how about the

[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_01]: person knows we're coming over someone's this movie yeah before right before

[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_03]: exactly ever six days that's right he only had like no no he had a lot longer

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_00]: than I've got days I've got stuff on my plate man yeah huge yeah huge things on

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_00]: his plate yeah none of us have anything I live a big life our unfortunately we

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_03]: know your life it's not that big you know what I want to say this is a hashtag

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_03]: team crampus film for sure yeah all right so we as our okay so far can I just do a

[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_03]: little bit of a recap here because usually we have one designated rage film

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_03]: but this year we got it's a wonderful knife which got two rages and a man we

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_03]: got El Fondo El Bosco which got a man another man and a rage yes and now we

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_03]: have our chosen rage crampus film of the of the year yes the mean one the mean

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_01]: one all right Mer take it away I have to yes it's the Grinch if you've seen the

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_01]: cartoon or the Jim Carrey film this is the exact same plot except with killing

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: you know basically there's this creature that's the mountain that looks like the

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Grinch except instead of just hating Christmas the mean one kills everybody

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_01]: who even talks about Christmas has a part of it and he's got super good

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_03]: hearing because it doesn't matter where in the town you are and the lead

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_01]: character who as Jim said is a little short on looks you guys are so focused

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_00]: on her look she was very pretty young lady I don't know what your problem is fighter

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_01]: who does not act she had some guns but yeah she do us a much in the acting

[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_04]: category yeah she had both kinds of guns there you go I don't know what that means

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_01]: but so yeah it's short and sweet I hated this are you hated this as someone

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_01]: who loves Christmas movies and especially likes the Grinch which one both all

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_01]: right especially the Ron Howard director one as you know my favorite director yes

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_01]: this is a complete insult to me I hated every minute of this except for maybe five

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_01]: minutes where the where the mean one was killing all those Santas because

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_01]: they were all assholes anyway that was a good scene in the diner the rest of

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_01]: it yeah I know I I hated it so rage okay so are you a Jim Carrey fan I didn't

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_01]: used to be okay that's what I thought I was I didn't like him and they're I didn't

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_01]: like when he was being over the top ridiculous so the mask like a nice

[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_01]: rancher but when he actually the grinch when he actually actually develop some

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_01]: acting skills I started to well he always had acting skills he sure did

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_01]: he was smoking like your precious Adam Sandler yes Adam Sandler actually takes

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_01]: himself seriously apparently he can act he can I also time he's a doofus yeah he's

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_03]: terrible same thing he's got range no he's got no he's got dramatic range no

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_01]: zero comedic talent this movie almost ruined my Christmas spirit almost so

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_03]: there yeah I hated it nice all right you so that's that's that's one rage
