[00:00:34] So for those of you who travel often, I do have a new helpful tool for you, new to me.
[00:00:47] And that is a travel app called Flighty. Now, I prefer to download my airlines app.
[00:00:58] That's usually, at least I thought, good enough for me.
[00:01:01] It lets me know the gate when something is delayed.
[00:01:11] And every now and then, it'll update with the boarding process. It's pretty good.
[00:01:22] But then I was reading something that said there's another app that got a lot of good ratings, a lot of good reviews.
[00:01:32] So I figured, why not? I'll try it out. Now, I haven't, to be honest, I haven't used it long enough to give an all-around review, but it's pretty good.
[00:01:46] I think it would help someone.
[00:01:49] So the Flighty app, I'm going to tell you what it does.
[00:01:53] Well, first off, it's free.
[00:01:55] Well, there's a free version and there's a paid version.
[00:01:57] And I don't think it's that serious for me to download a paid version because I have my airline app as well.
[00:02:05] I can compare notes.
[00:02:06] But apparently, this app is known to be faster than most airline apps.
[00:02:18] It gives you quicker information as far as cancellations and schedule changes.
[00:02:29] I know I used it the other day and it did let me know.
[00:02:37] It was supposed to leave at a certain time and it did let me know when it was delayed.
[00:02:40] And it let me know when, how late we were.
[00:02:44] It also let me know, obviously, what gate we were at, what gate we were coming into, the weather in both places.
[00:02:53] It let me know.
[00:02:56] I don't know.
[00:02:57] I mean, it was, it wasn't too bad.
[00:02:59] It, it lets you know why your flight's delayed, where your airplane is, I guess where it's coming in from.
[00:03:10] It gives the taxi times.
[00:03:12] I don't really care about that, but I know most people do.
[00:03:15] You know, when the captain comes on and says, we're numbers so and so in line.
[00:03:19] Certain times a day out of a certain airport, you just know that you're going to have a long taxi.
[00:03:24] And it gives you the ground radar as well.
[00:03:28] It syncs fully with your calendar.
[00:03:30] So any upcoming trips that you have coming up, it'll automatically sync to that app.
[00:03:38] And it'll forward your email to someone you'd like to know.
[00:03:43] If you want to give them your itinerary, it'll let you know, let them know.
[00:03:47] And you can also get your friends information as well.
[00:03:55] You can get alerts on canceled inbound aircraft and about airport weather or traffic.
[00:04:08] Now, I haven't had any serious delays and fortunately no cancellations, but I do intend to update this soon to let you know if it's still legit to have.
[00:04:24] It also says that it is a connection assistant.
[00:04:34] It also your check in.
[00:04:38] It gives you a reservation number and checks you in at the right time.
[00:04:44] I've got to see about that.
[00:04:45] I wonder if that's an advanced stage.
[00:04:48] I don't remember it doing that.
[00:04:50] But it gives you global coverage.
[00:04:52] It covers every airline.
[00:04:55] There are no ads.
[00:04:58] Okay.
[00:04:59] And like I said, it gives you weather information.
[00:05:02] It there's an applicant use for your Apple Watch as well.
[00:05:09] And it has an iCloud backup and sync and the actual flight route, which is pretty cool.
[00:05:22] I don't really pay attention to that.
[00:05:24] I don't really care.
[00:05:25] So certain things I don't really care about.
[00:05:27] All I really care about, it was important to me, is the time that it departs.
[00:05:32] Am I going to be late or not?
[00:05:34] I normally head to the airport anyway, and that's my issue.
[00:05:38] I normally head because sometimes things change.
[00:05:42] You know, it could say it's leaving two hours later.
[00:05:46] Maybe it might leave a little bit early.
[00:05:50] But yes, it does that.
[00:05:53] Now there is another part of it.
[00:05:57] It's like I said, there is a pro.
[00:05:59] It is flighty pro.
[00:06:04] And that really has a lot more.
[00:06:07] I can't see what else it would give.
[00:06:09] It says it gives your the tail number.
[00:06:14] FAA delay reasons.
[00:06:18] It gives you live activities.
[00:06:21] It gives you why your flight is delayed.
[00:06:24] 25 hour.
[00:06:26] Where's my plane?
[00:06:27] Pass flight.
[00:06:29] Look up.
[00:06:29] So those who are really anal about it, then I would say flighty pro is for you.
[00:06:36] But I think flighty is appropriate enough for me.
[00:06:43] So yeah, try it out.
[00:06:45] Download it.
[00:06:46] This is like I said, this is for those who travel often.
[00:06:49] If you don't, I wouldn't worry about it.
[00:06:52] Just stick with your airlines app.
[00:06:55] At least have that much though.
[00:06:56] I wouldn't just go to the airport with nothing.
[00:07:00] Now, I do have a positive news story for you today.
[00:07:06] And this is about a bill passed by a or waiting to.
[00:07:12] Yes, waiting to be passed.
[00:07:15] And this, it needs approval from the House of Representatives.
[00:07:21] But it passes from the US Senate.
[00:07:24] And that is a bill from Paris Hilton.
[00:07:27] This is, has to do with her fight for civil rights.
[00:07:33] It was passed by the Senate.
[00:07:35] It's the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act.
[00:07:40] And all 100 senators voted in favor.
[00:07:44] It helps to protect kids in youth residential treatment facilities.
[00:07:51] Still needs to be approved, like I said, before heading to the president's desk.
[00:07:55] But it still is a step forward.
[00:07:59] She's been working hard for this for over a year.
[00:08:03] And hopes to continue her mission to make sure that no child has to go through what she did.
[00:08:07] So good for her.
[00:08:09] I know a lot of people don't take her seriously.
[00:08:11] But that's good news to hear about anyone who cares about the youth, especially a celebrity.
