[00:00:38] So some of us drink tea for anxiety, or maybe even a glass of wine. But there are also plenty of foods that help ease anxiety, and I thought I would share them with you.

[00:00:54] Chamomile can help reduce anxiety. I remember my mom would always give me chamomile tea as a kid, and she would like it as well. It's an herb that helps lower inflammation from anxiety.

[00:01:06] It's believed to help regulate neurotransmitters related to mood. Dark chocolate, which I'm not a fan of, contains plant compounds that act as antioxidants.

[00:01:21] It can increase blood flow to the brain and help you react in stressful situations that can lead you to anxiety. Green tea has positive effects on brain health.

[00:01:35] In a study, those who drank it had lower stress levels.

[00:01:40] Next on the list are blueberries. They have vitamin C.

[00:01:46] There was a four-week study done that says eating wild blueberries showed a decrease in depression.

[00:01:52] Not really a blueberry fan.

[00:01:55] Salmon is on the list to reduce anxiety.

[00:01:59] It can allow you to handle stress better.

[00:02:04] Another item on that list is turmeric.

[00:02:07] It's been known to promote brain health, and I've been seeing that around a lot lately.

[00:02:14] One of my favorite things on this list is yogurt.

[00:02:18] It's been known to improve your well-being.

[00:02:21] It's a probiotic food that reduces inflammation and increases serotonin.

[00:02:26] But, you know, they say that you shouldn't have flavored yogurt.

[00:02:31] I mean, I'm not a fan of plain yogurt.

[00:02:33] And I don't have it often, but I'm definitely going to have some yogurt.

[00:02:38] Almonds have plenty of nutrients that include vitamin E.

[00:02:42] A study was found showing that consuming almonds decreases depression as well.

[00:02:50] Eggs are also helpful to reduce anxiety.

[00:02:53] I know I eat enough of those.

[00:02:55] They contain vitamin D and have the daily recommended intake,

[00:03:02] which actually, okay, let me start that over.

[00:03:05] The daily recommended intake comes in one large egg.

[00:03:10] So is there anything on this list that helps you with anxiety?

[00:03:14] Or is there something that isn't?

[00:03:16] I'd love to hear about it at Dreyer's point of view at yahoo.com.

[00:03:22] My positive news story of the day comes from Walmart.

[00:03:26] Celebrity chef and Black female entrepreneur Lori Rogers entered the Walmart open call,

[00:03:32] and her wine-infused pitch won in 2024.

[00:03:35] So starting the summer of 2025, her signature flavors,

[00:03:40] strawberry blanc, raspberry moscato, and blackberry merlot will be at walmart.com.

[00:03:47] It's actually wine-infused jam, what she has.

[00:03:52] She says it's not just a jam.

[00:03:54] It's an experience.

[00:03:56] Our partnership with Walmart allows us to fulfill our mission of providing everyday luxury to everyday people.

[00:04:03] I definitely wouldn't mind trying some myself.

[00:04:07] You can go to jamvino.com or jam.vino on IG for more information.

[00:04:14] That would make a nice gift for the holidays.

[00:04:17] Of course, you have to make sure that your recipient drinks alcohol.
