[00:00:14] Allow me to welcome you to Dreas Point of View. I am your host, Drea, and in the next 10 minutes or less, I will be offering you my perspective on a topic that I feel passionate about. I'd love for you to follow the show at Dreas Point of View on IG, Pinterest, Threads, and Facebook. You can also find me at Dreapoint on Exxon Spill. The days are getting longer, but many of us are still very busy.
[00:00:41] I came across an article on MoneyTalksNews.com that listed 14 products that will save you time each day, and that I will share a few of those with you.
[00:00:52] Let me start by saying that it should be of no surprise that you can get most of these on Amazon.
[00:00:57] The first item that is helpful for many people who hate the chore of putting your clothes away after you wash them is a clothes folding board. I didn't even know this existed.
[00:01:14] It clothes is small for easy storage, and it's only $14.99. I think that makes for a good gift for just about anyone.
[00:01:28] Next on that list is a one-cup freezing tray by Super Cubes. You can defrost perfectly portioned soups, sauces, and more with this tray.
[00:01:41] It's safe to put in the dishwasher, and it comes at a cost of $20.
[00:01:48] The next item I may invest in, because I care about my socks not coming out of the wash, is a sock laundry helper.
[00:01:59] It holds nine pairs of socks together through the wash and dry cycles.
[00:02:04] It comes in a two-pack, one for your clean socks and one for your dirties.
[00:02:09] Now, I don't have a problem once they're in the drawer. I usually roll them up together, but it's just coming out of the wash why I only seem to get one.
[00:02:20] This gift costs $25. I might look into that.
[00:02:28] Another product that can save time is a beverage chiller.
[00:02:32] If you want something cold, like coffee or tea, in less than a minute, this will be helpful.
[00:02:39] A robot vacuum cleaner makes a good gift.
[00:02:42] I actually saw one at an airport recently.
[00:02:45] Took a video.
[00:02:46] The robot Roomba 17, I believe, or J17, empties itself.
[00:02:53] You don't have to do a lot of work with that, so you know it's on the pricey side.
[00:03:00] For those of you who like to eat on the go, something that can save time through a drive-thru is a breakfast sandwich maker.
[00:03:13] It's dishwasher safe and lets you customize your sandwich.
[00:03:17] Now, that is around the $25 range.
[00:03:22] One of the least expensive products on this list are no-tie shoelaces.
[00:03:27] You can turn your sneakers into slip-ons.
[00:03:31] These can definitely be helpful going through some airports internationally because, yes, some still require that you remove your shoes.
[00:03:39] They work with sneakers of all sizes and are less than $10.
[00:03:50] There's also a quick dry towel wrap.
[00:03:53] I'm not sure how little it takes for you to dry your hair completely, but it's microfiber and it costs less than $10 as well.
[00:04:04] For those of you who wanted to prep your meals in a few minutes, you can use a large vegetable chopper.
[00:04:11] It has four blades and a fine dicer.
[00:04:15] And this comes around $30.
[00:04:19] You can see the rest of that list on Money Talks News.
[00:04:24] Are any of these products something on your gift list?
[00:04:27] I'd love to know.
[00:04:29] At Drea's point of view at yahoo.com.
[00:04:33] My positive news story of the day comes from Whoopi Goldberg.
[00:04:38] She starred the All Women's Global Network.
[00:04:42] If a woman is playing it, we're showing it.
[00:04:44] The network has partnered with a Chicago-based hospital, Common Spirit, to promote women's health.
[00:04:50] The channel has already launched in certain parts of the world, including the Middle East.
[00:04:55] It will show both past and current broadcast games.
