[00:00:14] Allow me to welcome you to Dreas Point of View. I am your hostess, Dreas, and in the next 10 minutes or less, I will be offering you my perspective on a topic that I feel passionate about.

[00:00:34] It is that time of year for Christmas music. I came across some new music from an ex-American Idol contestant.

[00:00:48] She never won a title, but has had a very successful career and is an EGOT winner. I'm talking about the incomparable Jennifer Hudson.

[00:01:00] In mid-October, she recorded her first holiday CD entitled The Gift of Love. It consists of 15 tracks, some remakes, and a few originals.

[00:01:16] It opens with a moving version of the song Hallelujah. You can definitely tell she got her start in a church.

[00:01:25] Another one of my favorites is Oh Holy Night. That's one of my favorite songs in general, and I don't think I've heard a bad version of it.

[00:01:34] Another one of my favorites on this CD is Go Tell It on the Mountain.

[00:01:39] There was also a track that she did with her partner Common, which kind of expected that, but that was nice.

[00:01:46] She ends a compilation with her rendition of Old Lang Syne.

[00:01:51] I do have to admit, I had to close my eyes the whole time, and it was that moving.

[00:01:55] So I definitely suggest if you're in the mood for some new Christmas music that you definitely check that out.

[00:02:03] It is amazing.

[00:02:05] My positive news story for the day comes from Unique Jones Gibson, the CEO of The Happy Hughes Company.

[00:02:15] It launched with Big Ups, their flagship training pants featuring four diverse characters that embody the vibrancy of various communities.

[00:02:24] With products like these, The Happy Hughes Company is not just another brand.

[00:02:27] It's a celebration of diversity and joy in the world of baby essentials.

[00:02:33] The success of The Happy Hughes Company isn't just about providing quality products, but about challenging industry norms and creating space for underrepresented voices.

[00:02:45] Reflecting on her journey, Gibson shared, we've been putting in the work for over four years.

[00:02:52] So to see our products on target shelves just 18 months later is surreal.

[00:02:59] The brand has launched a 3D animated series featuring diverse characters, making sure that children not only see themselves in the products they use, but also in the content that they consume.

[00:03:12] I love to hear that.

[00:03:14] Gibson explained, The Happy Hughes Company is more than a brand.

[00:03:17] It's a movement that affirms the journey of every child.

[00:03:21] Models?
