[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Now I've mainly seen men do this and I recently read a post from one man who actually bragged about doing it.
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Now when I'm on planes, I bring my headsets, I may watch a movie or I'll go to sleep.
[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I can sleep on planes no matter what seat I'm in and I don't need to take anything.
[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't sleep with it. Just watching the seat map would put me to sleep, so I don't think I could do that.
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Michael Seely, a therapist in California says that men see it as a challenge.
[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It can be a form of meditation or digital detox.
[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Some men even decline snacks so they don't have to go to the restroom during the flight.
[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, where did this come from?
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: According to GQ, a reporter said that one origin is from the movie High Jack where Idris Alba didn't have any devices.
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Apparently it's all over TikTok where travelers are staring into space.
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: An article in The New York Post written by Ben Cost talks about the dangers of rawdogging.
[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Experts say that it's unhealthy to go without drinking for a long period of time because it can create headaches and dizziness.
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_00]: It's important to stay hydrated. Eating also helps you be energized when you reach your destination.
[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Sleeping also allows your body time to rest and helps with jet lag.

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never taken Spirit and have never heard anything good about them.
[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: However, they are going through a revamp this month so I may consider taking them at least for a short flight.
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_00]: They are offering four affordable travel options.
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_00]: The first includes snacks and drinks, a carry-on and checked bag, and streaming access along with a big front seat.
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_00]: The second option is a snack and non-alcoholic drink and a blocked middle seat.
[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_00]: The third option is having a checked in bag or carry-on and selecting your seat during boarding.
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_00]: The last option is to purchase wifi, snacks, drinks and checked bags as well as seats.
[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_00]: They'll also offer priority boarding to certain customers and an enhanced boarding process.
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Sounds like things are looking up for Spirit Airlines.
