[00:01:47] It is a seven week reality show that revolves around him coming out and His friends are in it as well as his dysfunctional family his mom's a devout Christian who's trying to accept him for being gay and
[00:02:10] His dad has a strained relationship with him after having a family outside of his marriage And all of that is played out in episodes so each episode it details his interactions with people in his life and the most consistent person throughout is his
[00:02:32] boyfriend who he has cheated on repeatedly Because he is an alleged sex addict at least that's what I read. That's what it's portrayed as so two episodes really stuck out to me and
[00:02:48] One was when he and his dad went on a road trip and he shows him a picture of his boyfriend While his dad is driving. Okay, his boyfriend having a behalf naked and You see his father's expression When they're at the campsite
[00:03:05] He decides to ask him about the woman he had kids with if he ever loved her And you can see his dad was like visibly embarrassed. I was embarrassed for him. Can you imagine like that's really
[00:03:18] Not the time you can't do that off camera and he pressed him about it because His kids Wanda going or at least one of them want to go into the same high school as He and he didn't learn of it Until someone told him So
[00:03:38] Yeah, that's when it ended when his dad got frustrated and he wanted to go home It was really one of the most awkward things I've ever seen because and Even the post after it online were like I couldn't believe what I saw
[00:03:54] He was wrong for asking him that then so it's like he was Embarrassing pretty much ever someone in every episode you could basically look for that I didn't see his dad anymore of the season except in the background the last episode and you can't blame him would you
[00:04:17] Want to take part in that? another episode was talked about him being a bad friend and He this this really I It was okay. He was invited to be in his friends wedding and And the best man I believe
[00:04:38] But he was invited to be in his friends wedding and his friend requested that he Gets a black shirt from men's warehouse Okay, so we'll request and I didn't think that was too much to ask considering he was part of the wedding party
[00:04:54] I mean, I know I've never been asked to be in one Anyway, he decides that he wanted to wear a Tom Ford shirt He stops for food along the way is Mrs. The wedding but is there for the pictures and he showed up in a white shirt
[00:05:12] so how Bold can you be? Like that's not disrespectful if you didn't want to comply then you should have said that So after the fact towards the end of the episode
[00:05:25] He apologized and read his friend the speech that he was going to read and it looked like his friend was okay with him I don't know how they are now, but I would have to I don't know if I'd be able to forgive that and
[00:05:39] Then I do remember another episode. Well Like I said, there's only seven so I won't really go through each one but In each episode he's telling the story during but they cut to his stand-up routines and
[00:05:59] And although some of the things are funny it still leads you to believe that It wouldn't really hurt if he Went to therapy. I mean the last episode He actually does go to therapy with his boyfriend so that they can have an open relationship They have a contract
[00:06:17] And everything it really makes for good TV. Honestly, it sounds really crazy But it makes for a good TV matter of fact, let me backtrack that first episode He has Tyler the creator on there and he
[00:06:31] Actually tells him that he's interested in him. It's really awkward. It's just the whole And I guess that was the point of it all Not sure if I would rewatch it Because most things, you know, I rewatch I'm not sure if I would rewatch any of that
[00:06:46] It was interesting But it yet uncomfortable if that makes sense Not even sure if it's going to come out with another season but Yeah, after reading the posts No one really seemed to Very few people actually seem to like him yeah, so The final episode
[00:07:12] It seems to be a kumbaya with his boyfriend going to see his family And his mom welcoming him and I don't know she it looked like she just Finally came around and
[00:07:25] I'd be curious to know how that comes out, especially with his mom because you you want your mom Or any of your parents I would think to accept your lifestyle And there's one episode where she's actually praying with him to
[00:07:40] Not be gay. So it's yeah, I mean it's it's very Wow I mean, I recommend it but like to just be Yeah, expect the unexpected don't expect that you're just watching a regular reality show because that is not If you have seen it
