[00:01:01] Talk about this topic Because I feel that is important especially as a content creator It's not hard to get exhausted Because we're multitaskers especially those of us who are doing it by ourselves I know

[00:01:18] At the end of my seasons I experience mental exhaustion and I'm sure many of you can relate and I definitely Experienced it during this break, which is why I took so long to come back I'll definitely be making my season shorter and

[00:01:35] Mental fatigue is what it's called as well So I'm going to talk about it How you can treat it and how to prevent it Make sure that you are following me on the socials. I'm a Dreas Point of View on

[00:01:49] threads IG Facebook and Pinterest and you can also follow me on X and spill at Dreas Point So there are many ways that you can get mental exhaustion If you have multiple responsibilities at home if you don't take breaks after doing a lot of work and

[00:02:09] If you have mental symptoms You have mental signs like you're less alert than usual You feel depressed and in a hopeless mood You have a hard time caring about things I know I have You find yourself getting angry

[00:02:31] You don't feel as motivated or productive and I definitely felt that I felt like I was In a funk knowing I had certain things to do, but I just Couldn't really bring myself to do it You find it hard to concentrate and put thoughts together

[00:02:52] Physically your head and body hurt You have sleep issues always being tired You get sick often Behavior-wise you procrastinate when it comes to certain tasks around the house or at work You drink alcohol or use other substances to cope Now I did Start drinking more during my

[00:03:22] Break I wasn't an alcoholic. I mainly drank at home You also avoid people that you used to like spending time with What causes this mental exhaustion? Some triggers include working long hours with little time to rest Job dissatisfaction

[00:03:44] Can be a huge factor. I know for a while I was just There and I let certain things Just get to me certain people If you live with a mental health condition There are a few things you can do to treat being mentally exhausted

[00:04:05] The easiest solution is to eliminate what's stressing you Resting is another way I know I was taking more naps than usual, but mainly to avoid doing things You cannot try not spreading yourself too thin Booking less appointments in a day and even setting an hour a day aside

[00:04:29] For yourself to wind down. I know earlier this year when I was having Medical issues Medical issues I would book a lot of appointments. I remember one day in particular I had four appointments. One of them was virtual, but still that was That was a lot

[00:04:47] some relaxation techniques our breathing exercises and self hypnosis yoga Tai Chi and aromatherapy are other ways I remember my dad taking up Tai Chi And then I tried it myself years ago. Maybe I should Take that Up again. It's very relaxing What was interesting? It's usually

[00:05:14] older people that take it. I don't see too many young people Doing that and you definitely feel relaxed afterwards Getting more sleep Is that great suggestion? It says to try and get the recommended seven to eight hours of sleep and don't spend too much time in bed

[00:05:34] When you're not sleepy. Now that was my issue. I didn't get the seven to eight hours, but I did spend A lot of time in bed like I didn't really want to Be anywhere else not sitting up Outside not doing a walk around just basically laying in bed

[00:05:52] Keeping a gratitude journal and I've always been hearing about this. I said this in previous episodes Note one thing that you are thankful for each day Now I do journal, but I don't always mention what I'm thankful for According to some studies done

[00:06:08] in 2017 those who practiced gratitude had reduced stress and weren't sick as often Drinking water throughout the day and getting sunlight can help if you find it hard to rest It's best to seek professional help sooner than later once you recognize mental exhaustion and have tried everything you can

[00:06:34] to overcome it Have you experienced mental exhaustion? If you have I'd love to know What you did about that? You can leave your comments at drayuspointofviewatyahoo.com As well as going to my website the drayuspointofview.com to leave a review I would also appreciate
