[00:00:30] You have never been to a show taping then you are definitely missing out. I have been to my share of shows, I've been to judge shows, I've been to talk show.

[00:00:58] been to TV shows. And for the first time, I went to a concert show taping.

[00:01:07] And I'd like to share that experience with you, especially since it was in Las Vegas.

[00:01:13] I am Dreia, the hostess of this short form podcast, Dreia's Point of View.

[00:01:18] And I want to welcome you to the show. Make sure that you're following me on the socials.

[00:01:21] You could find me at Dreia's Point of View on IG, Pinterest, Threads and Facebook as well as on

[00:01:36] It comes out on Saturdays and it tells you about my upcoming episodes as well as

[00:01:40] upcoming podcast events and recommendations that I have for podcasts. So super bowl week,

[00:01:49] I like going to the events in most cities and especially since it was in Vegas. I was there.

[00:01:55] Nothing goes out of me from going. So I did a lot in the short time that I was there.

[00:02:00] And one of the things I did was attend a show taping, soulful celebration.

[00:02:04] It was hosted by Tisheena Arnold and Senator DeEntertainer. They're both stars on the talk,

[00:02:11] the talk. They're both shows on they're both hosts on the show neighborhood.

[00:02:17] And they've been around forever too. You know both of them. Anyway,

[00:02:21] they really were the perfect hosts because although there were mainly

[00:02:28] it was there were a lot of big name artists at the show. Some of them gospel, they really provided

[00:02:34] the comic relief. They were hilarious. I'm telling you, I would have been happy watching just the two

[00:02:40] of them. So the show aired that weekend. It was on for an hour but the show taping itself took

[00:02:48] about three which was great for a concert. You think about it. I was expecting to be there at least

[00:02:52] two hours and I definitely got my money's worth. It was off the strip, the Palms Casino at... I can't

[00:02:59] think of the name Pearl, Pearl Theater. I believe that was what it's called. Now the Palms is very nice hotel

[00:03:08] and where the event was was a small venue inside of the hotel.

[00:03:18] Security was great, it was smooth sailing going in there and yeah I was thinking it was pretty

[00:03:24] organized. Small intimate venue, no bad seats, signage was great so you didn't really need an

[00:03:29] usher but of course some people did still sit where in the wrong seat. But the venue itself

[00:03:36] yes, pretty good. You can get your internet fine because a lot of times the internet is choppy.

[00:03:43] Plenty of legroom. That's what really I live for being someone with long legs. You're always crunched

[00:03:49] up in these seats and yeah it was great comfy seats. There was even a... I guess you want to call her

[00:04:00] I don't know would you not a bartender or server I guess she even came up taking orders and usually

[00:04:06] they don't come up to the mezzanine or balcony section. So someone came up and took orders if you

[00:04:12] wanted it but yeah so it was very nice event and we got to see the director and hear the director

[00:04:19] give directions so it stopped and started a couple times but everything for the most part.

[00:04:25] Rand pretty smooth, you know we applauded when we needed to applaud and it was just a really

[00:04:31] cool experience. Some of the artists who showed were Earthwinen fire Kirk Franklin,

[00:04:37] there was Mary Mary Robin Thick and we got to see some of the actual NFL players receive awards

[00:04:48] and give their speech and we got to watch a montage of them. They definitely had to cut out a lot

[00:04:52] because like I said the show was only an hour when you watch it on TV but yeah it was...

[00:04:58] I was... we were there for hours and it was worth every penny. I'm telling you it wasn't a dull moment

[00:05:04] it was energetic everyone dressed to kill and it's definitely... it was definitely a treat but the

[00:05:14] great treat also was getting a goodie bag when you left. One of the sponsors I believe it was

[00:05:22] between Fabriz and one of the hair products gave us cute goodie bags to take home so that's always

[00:05:30] nice. Of course I had to leave the Fabriz in my hotel room because I was flying and I wasn't

[00:05:34] checking my bag for Fabriz can't. So yeah it was really a good experience and I highly recommend

[00:05:42] everyone checking it out and showtapings are usually in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Atlanta

[00:05:48] but if you couldn't get to go to a concert taping that's I don't know that's a little different. It takes

[00:05:58] less of your time I'll tell you that so hopefully you enjoyed this episode enough to continue listening

[00:06:06] and tell others about it and also I could use some subscribers so please make sure you are

[00:06:11] subscribed to the show as well as that free newsletter I told you about and if you've attended

[00:06:16] a show taping I'd love to hear about it at 3ispointofview at Yahoo.com as always I thank you for

[00:06:21] listening and don't forget you can leave a review check out my merch and Theedra is one of you.com
