[00:00:05] What's the most exciting and most watch sport in the United States? If you said anything else but football, you lose. Welcome to the Air Raid Attack Podcast! Nothing's more exciting than college or pro football. And when we say football, we don't mean soccer. Oh, no.

[00:00:39] Will hang, we'll give you in-depth analysis. And you know what? Football and life have a lot in common. So you'll hear us tackle life topics sometimes too. So let's do it. This is the Air Raid Attack Podcast. Here we go. Here we go.

[00:00:56] And this is your host, Air Raid Micah. What is up, everybody? Whoa, I'm really close to this thing. What is up, everybody? As I'm readjusting the live screen, that was really up close to not like that. What is up, everybody? You're a truly air-en-mike here.

[00:01:44] You are listening to the unscripted unfiltered 100% authentic. I have a fun show for you all tonight. It's getting close to the week and for some, maybe the week has already kicked off for you. Congrats on that.

[00:02:00] Good buddy, a man who has been on the show before if you can go back to the fan control football. Believe and he might quote me on better on this. Might have been season two. I can't remember if it was exactly my grandmother passed or right afterwards.

[00:02:19] You can't remember that. But he is the coolest dude of all upon coolest dudes. Let me introduce you, Big Dog, Mr. Keith Wayne right. Let's go on my dude. What's going on, man? I love the intro.

[00:02:34] Hey, I appreciate, you know, it's a working progress but it's getting there. It is getting there. Yeah, that was smooth, man. That was smooth. No, I appreciate it. Dude, what's been going on with you? I know it's been a while.

[00:02:47] I know I think it was season two point of, you know, truthfully not to bring up but I don't know if it was right before my grandmother passed or afterwards when you were on. But nonetheless, dude, I'm excited that you're back on.

[00:03:03] Yeah, I was, I think it was after, No, no, no, no, no, no, no. It was before. Was it? I can say that. Yeah, I was before it. Before you come out fast because you were just back on Twitter and told me, you know, the back side,

[00:03:17] I think it was probably a month after we said to interview him. And I just wanted to stay in touch and, you know, that kind of thing. But no, but I'm glad to, I'm glad to have been good spirits. I've been prayer for you for a while.

[00:03:30] It's always in my prayers, man, because I take family's here. So again, I'm sorry to hear that happening. But I'm seeing my game better spirits. He's still doing what you love to do. So, you know, God is still good. Oh, absolutely. I mean, you know, Mike, Mike,

[00:03:45] you know, Mike Gremel said that and I was at peace with it, you know, she says she was ready to go home and God's gonna take care of her. So I left it in that and it's firmly, but leave that's where she's at right above.

[00:03:58] So definitely miss her. But the way she left was peaceful and the illness she had was deadly and I do not wish that on anybody. But anyway, dude, it's been great. You know, I've been keeping tabs up with you. You know, you've been working out doing some,

[00:04:17] some workout videos and what have you. What's life been like since FCF. I know FCF has kind of took a break. It should be back up and running. I believe this summer is what I keep hearing. But what you've been up to since the season 2.0.

[00:04:37] Man, that's an excellent question, man. I found myself more or less being a father than a husband more than you know, a functional football. But you know, once being having a passion for this sport it doesn't go away at all so absolutely.

[00:04:52] I got a great support system, my wife, my trainer. Everybody around me always says, stay active, stay ready. You never know, you know, that kind of thing. And I've, you see stories all the time with guys where, you know, like Kurt Warner, whatever case may be.

[00:05:07] Send back and just, you know, thinking that is all over in seven dollars. You know, get a phone call. So I don't want to be putting the position where I do get a phone call and, you know, I haven't done anything.

[00:05:18] So that's, that's why you see all this workout videos and staying positive. But I've, I'm in a better space. I say that. And the reason why I say that, I'm in a better space mentally is because I've grown a lot. And last time I spoke to you.

[00:05:31] I think that coaching has been a major part of my transition to face, I want to say out of football yet. I still have that fire that burning desire. And I say a lot of opportunities lined up for me.

[00:05:45] Just a way to know a couple of phone calls. But coaching is kind of like that in between face. Everybody has to in between face with after going to. And I think that's important for, you know, just life and general.

[00:05:57] You always have to have that in between face. So you can, you know, stay stay keep a sanity. Yeah. So yeah. Yeah. So I've been, I've been, you know, doing a lot. I mean, I'm going to keep out with the weather here in Huntsville, Alabama.

[00:06:10] And it's like, it feels like I may call a rattle right now honestly. Like I do. It's crazy. I will say this. No, I, I feel, yeah. I don't know what it is right now. I know we were above 40 something here today in Oklahoma City.

[00:06:27] But tomorrow is going to be right back to where we were last week and how we started off this week was in the 20s. Feeling like it in the negatives with the wind chill. But I think the whole, literally I do believe the whole country beside Florida.

[00:06:41] I think it's getting some thought. I think Florida got a little bit of flours. Why won't you? Yeah. I do like we don't have any, we don't have any trucks. No, like slow trucks or no salt. Yeah. Anything to plow. It's no so all the back rows.

[00:06:58] If it's not the major highways for, you know, law enforcement government. Man, it's, it's a mess. And I says being common, you know, it's not so long. We're becoming, I said, right. People can't believe the driveway is man.

[00:07:10] We've been, we've been, I want to say, I was about to say quarantine like COVID. But we're just talking to house for a whole week. I hope that's borderline. That's where it was back in 2020. Man. So imagine being a fucking house all week with kids. No, I'm good.

[00:07:26] Exactly. It's something. So I mean, the game only does so much. You know, get like I entertain themselves. But, um, no, man, it's a blessing because I tell my wife yesterday is an opportunity to spend time together.

[00:07:39] You know, um, because we're always moving, doing things, moving around and my mom came to town for a week or two. Very nice. She stays in Texas. She's stuck now because of the weather. So shout out to my mom when she's, she's in good hands.

[00:07:52] Now she's flying up more. Very nice. Yeah. It's been a journey. It's been a journey. It's been a journey. You know, I want to ask this because I, you know, just, you know, curiosity always kills the cats sometimes. But, uh, FFCF calls you answering.

[00:08:08] Uh, not to put them on a spot either. Just to be honest with you and I don't want to sign on desperate. But if that is my best last opportunity. Right. I would. Hands down because I'd never had a problem with FFCF.

[00:08:24] I never, I felt like FFCF was a great opportunity for guys from more from them. I think it's still another level. I think FFCF could compete with anybody. Oh, absolutely. When I say anybody, I'm coming within the arena or status. Yeah.

[00:08:39] Um, but, um, I'm a big, I'm a big fan of being, you know, give my, you know, feedback and different different areas. Um, so I wouldn't mind only because the relationship is I've gained is I've been there.

[00:08:53] Um, but it would have to be one of those things where I, this is my last time played football. Um, I think I'm, you know, hang up the police after this. So, um, but no, man, I'm optimistic.

[00:09:06] I got, I got other opportunities, possibly, you know, are on the rise. Um, just waiting for my Asian to make some calls and we should guys call me back. So, um, that's what's up. So I used to think age was a factor. It really is it.

[00:09:21] Um, it's just about a guy give me an opportunity, you know, because you got guys in the FF 35 36. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, but I like I feel my way to there.

[00:09:34] I think if I was to get an opportunity wherever, I think I'm, I'm kind of in the back end. And that's not physically because I can run with anybody. I saw that on the field. Yeah, you're an Africa. You can still play dude. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:09:50] I think for me is more like the exhaustion and like the middle. The middle exhaustion going through the same phase working out. If you're in the early, you know, that takes a toll on the bottom. I think that's why a lot of guys are tired.

[00:10:01] Now, not more or less the physical sense because, you know, we're doing it for so long. You get used to it. So yeah. You know, speaking of, uh, what two things. But first, I want to get your thoughts on as we kick off the show.

[00:10:15] Um, of course, Huntsville, Alabama. We all know what happened. Oh, you know, little, little after the National Championship game with Nick Sabin's National Kids. Now, it's in his retirement. What in the world? I mean, we see in the National News, at least here in Oklahoma City, it's national.

[00:10:32] We always know that, you know, statewide within the state boundaries. What's to feel like, I know coach the board is there and, and seems to me like fans are hyped up out of no if they're hyped to be, to be hyped or they're trying to out.

[00:10:45] I know, but not going to touch that one. But what's the feel like in the state of Alabama right now currently after so now it's his retirement? Yeah. Yeah. That's a good question. I mean, I think personally, I think that following this retirement, they knew they had

[00:11:02] to get somebody's worth the name. Not only the name, but they came back up the wins. I think the board was a good pick-up. Um, I, you know, I watched them over the years. Them having that recommended he did. It's kind of hard to argue against it.

[00:11:17] Doing something like, you know, he did beat Texas, he did beat all the few teams. It's just some very difficult conversation, but no fan, so hurt man. I got guys that like, I got grown man crying, like, no, that friends like, like,

[00:11:33] upset, upset, dude, you understand in my era, um, it was all mixed up. No, absolutely. So he was been around for at least two decades, at least. So I don't know the time frame, I didn't look up the facts, but he's been around a while

[00:11:54] for at least two generations to go through high school and college who witnessed his greatness. Oh, absolutely. And when, when, when six or seven championships? So, um, no man, it was, it took a total understanding all about my faith.

[00:12:10] I think that, um, you know, having the board hit, if it, you know, being new head coach and him having when record and knowing that Nick's haven't supported him and says that he's a good pick up. It helps the whole story. So yeah.

[00:12:24] It's an interesting, though, you know, I don't fucking sit there and speak for Alabama. The, the, with an in the athletic department because I don't know where Coach de Bor was at, whether he was one or whether he's five, I'm not going to get into that.

[00:12:36] It's not in my business. Yeah. I mean, obviously, I'm sure that they were loved to seem to hike the hires of like a shark or a, a lot of people thought they're standing landing, but yeah. Yeah. That's what I was going to pick you up.

[00:12:51] That's exactly who I thought was. He, of course, he came out with the hype video and luckily all that rolling man and Coach, everybody else after that. But it's going to be interesting how he does in Alabama. It's a big, I felt bad for whoever it was.

[00:13:04] I don't care who it was. Those are some big, big shoes to feel. I don't think they're going to feel in regardless of how successful he is. Well, I think I think if fans and the people around Tuscaloos and just watching the

[00:13:19] Alabama football can understand that hey, this is a completely different coach. Allow him to do his own thing. Lower the expectations who maybe like a medium range for the board. I think it would be art.

[00:13:32] But if you go over there say hey, what going on the feed it? I think I need us to win at least eight games. You know, that's, that's putting expectations on people and it's, it's setting stuff up for this point. So. Oh, straight facts. Absolutely straight facts. Yeah.

[00:13:49] College football, since we last was on the show has changed quite a bit. Some save for the good, some save for the bad, some more still in different. Of course, yes, C C and the pack 12 now officially not existent. Yep. They're done.

[00:14:07] The big 12 loses Oklahoma Texas to the SEC wishing be interesting for those to the big 10 games, Washington, Oregon and both Cali's well two of the Cali schools in USC and UCLA. Yeah.

[00:14:20] As a fan in some of its play the game for a long time, what are your thoughts on just where is college football heading in Europe? Yeah. And you know, of course the NIO is playing the huge role especially when it comes to recruiting and the transfer portal.

[00:14:35] I'm debating on that one right now still among the fans. I'm trying to like it but starting to really be tough to like it because literally everybody's leaving after one year. Yeah.

[00:14:46] As a fan in some of that's played the game as like I have, but you know, you're more advanced down the road than I went. Where's college football going in your opinion and has is it heading in the right direction?

[00:14:58] Are we kind of starting to lose what it once was? Ah, that's a good question. I think me personally I think it's done for. I think the NCAA had intention to allow the NIO deals to happen because of basketball.

[00:15:20] They that's where in my personal opinion that's where it was the right from basketball players. They were trying to retain players to stay in college and not go overseas or not go to the NBA after one year and not do so many different things.

[00:15:36] And then they realized, oh, football is a lot of money over there as well. Oh yes. And I think it didn't go as planned. They didn't set up enough requirements and procedures going forward. And it just messed everything up.

[00:15:52] Now you're putting the position where you got grown men, right? And college making men's or hundreds of thousands of dollars and you're telling them hey, I think you've been practicing this time. Now it becomes a business deal and it shows what players really don't love the sport.

[00:16:11] Yeah, and what players like all right this is a hustle I'm going to do what I need to do to get this straight. So I think it's good and bad is good because it's is it's giving more diversity.

[00:16:22] He's allowing more kids to travel because when I play, right there was no such thing as a transfer boarder. Oh, no. You transferred up meaning if you went from a lower program to a higher program, you have to you have to you can you can start immediately.

[00:16:39] But if you transfer down, you have to wait one year. But it was it was a mess. I mean, it was so much paperwork and that's only the coach allowed to transfer to the team. I mean, it was a lot.

[00:16:47] So now I think now it's kind of like, you know, the flood gates open in and it's getting kids ready for the NFL. It's kind of that's what the intention was to retain kids longer.

[00:16:59] But now I think it's it's it's it's because I think when college is three years you can play for three years in and leave. Yeah, because originally it was three years in your out, you know, and a lot of time that's why transferring was so

[00:17:14] Rare because you like you mentioned was if you transferred you were you had to sit out a year. You lost a year of eligibility now. I think I got an application from Blutherpores was like, I think the Miami U tied in now for his ninth season. That's crazy.

[00:17:32] That's crazy. Like you know what that is. And I know that's that's absolutely right. He's in the check. He's going to check to where something on the field of three game after the game in the press conference.

[00:17:44] Dude, it started to become a monetary movement and is messing up a lot of different players and teams. You know, you see what's the guy in the camera was named left out by the level just two days three days ago. Oh, a lot of people.

[00:18:03] Yeah, I can't remember him's name. I have a very fort but I know downs left. They want a lot of people. Yeah, so yeah. That's my intake man is called as football is changing. I don't think NFL is changing entirely, but in these situations.

[00:18:23] No, I'm with you on that. I don't know, you know, I'm kind of starting to get to the point. I met a comment years ago. I think we're a podcast first started on the time to be as podcast.

[00:18:34] I believe it was what it was on and might have been this one. I really don't remember. But anyway, long story short, I met a comment that I thought that the way that college football was headed.

[00:18:42] This is talking about way before in IEL and the transfer portal was eventually going to be not as big as the NFL, but it wouldn't be a big sport. Yeah. Well, I didn't plan this. I didn't think that this was going to be literally where we're at now.

[00:18:57] I do think that I really believe Keith what needs to happen to is the NFL and the NCAA and these that come together and figure this whole thing out because obviously they're getting paid. So at this point money is not an option. Yeah. I can't say that. Yeah.

[00:19:13] Why not make college football a NFL development league? It's too much on this point. It's too much money. I don't think that NCAA will be willing to allow the NFL to have the end of the park. I can't say that. Yeah. Yeah. That's only thing.

[00:19:33] If it wasn't, if it was a way where you could stay hey, you can retain all your profits for college games. And if we won't touch it, it's completely split. It's for the better of the team, the better of the players. That'd be perfect.

[00:19:48] But they're not going to allow that. I mean, somebody's going to want something. You almost money, they make for, let's first is that the on-sanders when the on-sanders first and the on-sanders first and the on-sanders. You almost money that made. Like I'm sure I'm not.

[00:20:03] I'm sure I'm not. And that's why they didn't even have the money to pay the only first got there. But they relied on the ticket sales and the sold out fees to say, okay, we'll have it in two weeks. Some more about it.

[00:20:17] And make sure nothing is over there. And even when it looks, guess what? We'll still sell them out tickets. So it's, it's, it's caused for balls changing man. And I'm, and I try to get my kids like coach football at the school. Yeah.

[00:20:31] Try to get the kids to get back on, you know, give them my focus. I'm, I'm too old then with what's going on. So I try to keep them too old then. And sometimes you know with high school kids man,

[00:20:40] it's, it's almost like you're talking to one in, not the, all the time. All the time. Like no great. Now you have a few that would listen to one or two things you might study. But most of the time, man, they kind of, you know,

[00:20:53] oh coach, keep them always talking about or what? It's crazy man. I want to have to find the guy. I can see his face. He was on a podcast. I want to say right before you were.

[00:21:10] And he wrote a book about the high school students really based on the NCAA and how everything was ran. And because they get, you know, high school kids and you nailed it. High school kids get a lot of just feedback and this, this, this,

[00:21:25] and a lot of ear full. I'll find him and try to send you his info. Okay.

[00:21:31] And hook up because that, that book's amazing has a lot of great insight on what kids really should be looking at for when it comes to coaches recruiting so on a so forth because, you know, fist is air perfect now.

[00:21:45] But speaking of prime time, you, how you like in him and how you like in him and call it right now? To be honest with you, I don't think he's being a color. I don't know. I think I see his mindset.

[00:22:00] I think he's trying to change the culture Colorado like he did in Jackson State. But I don't think it's a stop important. I think Dion needs to, I want to say the NFL. I want to think NFL is a stop important.

[00:22:13] But I think he's a kind of coach for these being S and C on. He needs to be with the top top. Because at the end of the day, you can say whatever you want about hey, you know, a better coach will coach whatever he has.

[00:22:26] No, no, no. You're telling me, you got a D1 program in Alabama or Arkansas. So wherever you, you're going to have six five, six, six versus, you know, a smaller school with your best player might be six five and the rest of me like six two six three.

[00:22:43] But in S and C all of them are six five. Well, they some big boys down the SEC. Yeah, yeah. So I think I think he needs to go over like, you know, maybe I was hoping he got to Alabama job but under those kind of long shot.

[00:22:57] But I think he will go to the NFL only because it's on seems like he's riding a son's coatel because he was a be there in coach for coach with them. So I think that if he goes to the NFL, he probably end up going to the NFL.

[00:23:12] So that's, I mean, that's what it looks like. I'm 100% think I'm with you on that one. I think that's why the, not to switch sports, but I think that's why the bronze sticking around in the NBA.

[00:23:25] I think he's going to go set wherever brought it ends up and retire every time. I think he wants at least that one year with this son and, and hey, I've mad, mad respect. I mean, I haven't before. No, exactly. I think I have a baseball belief.

[00:23:40] And you could quote me on that. I'm not sure. I want to say it was King Griffey. Yeah, yeah. I think it was Griffey Jr. Yeah, I think it is. Yeah, I think it's a Griffey's.

[00:23:50] Yeah, I think so I happened to four, but to have for it to happen in basketball. That's because you know everybody knows baseball players. You could play a long time. They can play a game. Thank you very much. You could play on to your probably 45 basketball.

[00:24:05] You need to be lucky if you play past 35 football. You'd be lucky if you played past 34. If you're running back, you lucky past 31. Back, back, back. But no man, I guess I've been on a roller coaster since the last talk movie.

[00:24:27] It, and I hate to train subjects, but it just makes it. It just, it just, it just, it just, it makes me out. So many guys can get, um, you know, and this is, I'm not just speaking for myself. Speaking for a lot of guys, I know.

[00:24:39] Something guys to get opportunities, um, that you're played against. That you have to be on the against. Um, and you, and you've beaten multiple times and you've, you've shown that you're better than, where they're all offensive defense and they get opportunities.

[00:24:54] It's not because of height, size, weight, speed, strength is all about who, you know, that's all about who you connected to or, you know, if they wanted our model of it, all, it's so many different things. Even with FTF, I was shocked and leased.

[00:25:12] Fifteen guys from FTF after we left have, had a guy to shot from, ex-girl, years of Bill, and so many different platforms. And they were, it was crazy for me tonight even, you know, different opportunity. Like, I was just shocked.

[00:25:29] I'm like, yo, I was telling the major, no that was like, I got to film on these guys. You know, not to throw shade on the body. Right. That's my thing with recruitment from post college to pro with the semi-pro arena,

[00:25:44] doesn't matter what platform I think the biggest problem that these recruit struggle with is that they focus more on the big names. Yep. And those big names never produce because that's not what they, they really don't really want to play for.

[00:25:59] I mean, a lot of guys that really just don't want to play for both. I'm going to actually have questions and help me to, you know, make saving makes sense. So if I'm a employer right here, and I don't know nothing about you. And that's a hate.

[00:26:14] Mike, I'm almost such an opportunity. Can I see a resume? You send it, right? Oh, absolutely. And I'm not going to hire you based off of how fast you send to resume. I'm not going to hire you based off of how good your resume looks.

[00:26:30] I'm not going to hire you based off of nothing. I'm going to hire you based off of your credentials. Your experience, what does Shapiro say? You know, that's what I'm hiring based off of. I don't care about how long you've been to business, how long you haven't.

[00:26:45] So that's been my issue. You know, and I'm speaking for not myself, but a lot of different players like. Absolutely. We need to start this trend where, hey, I really, if I'm overcooked, this is this will be my approach.

[00:27:02] Hey, I really don't favor that guy as much, but he showed that he can play a little. That's very much trying to count and see what he can do. Now if he gets in training camp and he balls out, hey, you found a gentleman in the heart place.

[00:27:20] But now he exposed himself and he's getting beaten and I've got his better than them. What did you lose? You didn't lose anything. So that's how I look at it.

[00:27:30] I think guys need to get more opportunities from in any sport instead of, hey, because it's two type of people in this world in the sport world. You got guys that went to a great college that placed, I know these down.

[00:27:46] Tell them, tell them, tell them, based off of experience. The guys I wanted a big college that placed best routines. Maybe one or two steps in the sport court, I guess the bad team.

[00:27:57] And you got guys that played for like the code of state or, you know, in the swag or whatever the case may be, that actually has filmed. And then they get overlooked because they went to a small school.

[00:28:11] They probably felt like the level competition was as great within whatever. It's crazy man. It's crazy. No, it is crazy. It's a great point that you brought up because a lot of people do, especially, you know, you get to the D2s.

[00:28:26] You still got some D2 players that, you know, that do make the big leagues but not, you know, not many, but especially go down the D3 and then, oh, the NAA and then the lower, you drew codes and stuff like that. They do get overlooked.

[00:28:42] And there's a lot of players that have to talent. And you know, shout out to my good friend and big dog, dark 10 in Tinsley. If he's watching this or listening in, you know, he, he, you know, play at KCE where I went and, you know, in a,

[00:29:00] and it's not in the I. And they I is, I think the NA will see the delay which is below what the NAIA, and transfer it out. You know, put his name into the portal and see what happened.

[00:29:09] And since that he, the University of Cincinnati, hey, now look at him. He's he, he's he's he's starting but, you know, and it shows and it proves what you're trying to say as well. But even though if you plan at these lower colleges, these kids can play.

[00:29:24] Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, it's it's can play. Dude, so as we last talked, I've been this so many different workouts that I've been, I've been in the, I got invited to the extra fellow showcase.

[00:29:36] You show, I said, I've been to that Meddian and all the good stuff. I've been to actually two X-Failwork, well, maybe three maybe three. And the other two was probably workouts. I'm not going to tell you what's he but didn't pick me. They was like one and 10.

[00:29:51] So I'm not saying I'm going to be the difference of the team's record. What I'm saying is you're looking at the wrong guys. You're looking at a guy that runs in 4, 3, 4, 4. But hey, tackle work for day on. That was my big issue.

[00:30:05] Like, I'm not saying I'm the fastest guy in the field. I've never been a strong one. I probably run a 48, 47 honestly. Right. I'm on a good day. A very good day. But I know how to tackle. I'm a coach. So I know how to look at film safely.

[00:30:18] So I know that I sector play and know what coverage you're, you know, what office you're running. We're just for air power. I know when the guard's pulling more likely to the place coming that way. I know how it looks.

[00:30:33] You know, how many man in the phone's been a lot of scrimmage versus, you know, who's awful, who's on when a, when a receiver goes and motion what they're trying to do.

[00:30:41] I know these things because I put myself in position to study films to know and think like a coach. So that's what helped me over the years even when I was in the FCS.

[00:30:52] Like, three months before I knew I was coming, I used to watch the last year highlights. Faithfully. Every day. I feel like I always stay and that's if anybody's listening to you, that's what's going to separate you.

[00:31:05] You find your niche and capitalize on it with a film with the weight room with the speed. Whatever your niche is, God created is completely different and you capitalize on it because everybody's different. So going back to what I said earlier.

[00:31:22] Right now, man, I had so many differences with ridiculous. When I said, then Mrs. I had like opportunities with NFL, CFL and I've kept quiet about it. I'm only because, you know, you know how they go. Oh, I know exactly how that goes.

[00:31:38] So, man, I'm not gonna say any NFL names by a treatment. And if I try with some NFL players and they've put word in for me, you know, they're attorney there. I want to say attorney but their agent says, recommend me. I mean, the film, everything's there.

[00:31:55] So when I say I'm gonna be on a rollercoaster, it's been like, and you know, like I said, about a strong support system. You gotta have it then. Well, if you don't have a support system, it doesn't matter how that looks like for people. I know everybody's different.

[00:32:11] When it comes to support system, but you gotta have that dude because if they're in those support system, you're done because your bad days are in turn into a really nice. Yeah, yeah. And so good news, dude. I got, I got, I got opportunity coming up.

[00:32:32] I'll be able to find out figure out within the next week or so. So I let you know that's what I find out. But man, God is good, man. Just been doing the same thing. I've been doing the same thing. I've been doing the same thing.

[00:32:47] You guys haven't even been training myself kids? I told them they're like, Hey. Gotta get ready for the next season. August, August was real dumb just like that. So I really get my motivation, some of my motivation.

[00:32:59] And want to from them, because you know what they start seeing? They're they getting better and faster to stronger and makes me smile, basically when I work with them and sometimes they teach me stuff that, you know, I overlook, you know,

[00:33:13] You know, they might say, hey, remember last season, this happened to this the reason why I did this and you know, those kind of things. So I recommend that any player out there that's watching this if you have any guy into coaching, give me a coach.

[00:33:28] That's gonna change your game completely. And the early you get in, the easy it gets, because I'm beyond the fact I didn't before I got into coaching, I didn't study film like I should. Right. I didn't see the importance of I just kinda react to it based off

[00:33:42] what I've seen in the past, but same here. I get you. Same here. Yeah, but it, man, dude, it's the game's changing. It's a lot faster now. Coaches are getting my lot smarter. I've seen videos on Facebook that were like, is that even legal?

[00:34:01] And then you know, nothing happened. So the thing is, I remember Coach, I remember Nick St. was talking to him in the few ones, I mean said, you never wanna hesitate on a play. I allow the referees to make the call, that makes sense.

[00:34:16] And I'll tell the button, I was like, and it doesn't make sense. Like what he saying is, don't hesitate on what you think is right or wrong. Just make the play a lot of referees make the call. So I'm not saying it's about size.

[00:34:28] I'm not talking to obvious stuff. It's like different semantics and different schemes on office and defense. Cause as much as you think you know, you don't know what exactly. I don't just stay on 32 so. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So yeah, man. Well, I will say this.

[00:34:51] I know the teams I won't say it on here cause I wouldn't have been starting adding them or adding at them whatever, whatever the right definition of that is. But they are general managers as specific teams. That's followers of the podcast. All of send them your way.

[00:35:11] Oh, but I appreciate that man. That's bless. I was sending them away cause they are huge fans and one, until trying to get on the podcast. So, but he's just a busy guy, but both general managers are the respective teams.

[00:35:26] So all of the send them your send them your way. I give them your info. But I will give you their info and you can definitely let your agent handle all that good stuff. Yeah, my boy Keith, man. It's hard to be keeping him in hate.

[00:35:44] He's an awful name, Keith. What's really his key to the, but we call him Keith. Nice. And yeah, I like it like what I said, it's a players' way just to add to your list and maybe start scheduling, discuss some more guys to write the year

[00:35:56] and start just 2024 year off, Sean. Yes, sir. One thing, you know, continue is that, you know, a little probably hour hour and a half in the work from me, from maybe not a talk from a city, from Oklahoma City, in just got an indoor football team.

[00:36:14] I don't know, you know, what kind of what we're gonna, all that fun stuff. But I will say that if you ever end up in Oklahoma, I know a phenomenal dude that is a huge fan of the podcast and him and I, we keep missing.

[00:36:32] But he is actually, he owns it's called Kibi Impact and practically it's phenomenal work out center and has Jimmy Wilkinson and other coaches that's played in the league and stuff like that. For normal, so, you know, he, it's about to open.

[00:36:51] So if you ever end up in Oklahoma, dude, I got you to hook up I've never been Oklahoma. Did you ever? I could throw through Oklahoma, I'd never been Oklahoma. That's what's up. Well, I would say you're not missing much, but we're starting to grow.

[00:37:07] So I would say we give us a check out, but no, for nominal coach George Tom George, he knows a lot of people, he knows a lot of people. But now, you know, the set of side you're a support staff, you know, they play a humongous role

[00:37:30] when it comes to this life, life ups and downs, and get the bad deugle. On days that where even though your support staff comes up shows out shows off, we always, we're all humans, we still have that negativity side or we try not to date,

[00:37:47] but always kicks in even if we receive 272 text message. Or whatever, I'm just pooping random text or random number. But how do you handle just your really bad days? Just whatever people say is not going to change how you feel what, what,

[00:38:05] how do you handle that and what breaks you out of that mood? Man, so I'm a big advocate of people finding like I said earlier, they're niche. Right. They're passionate about, I just had a conversation with a sister while ago. She was, you know,

[00:38:22] I asked me that saying a question. And I said, you know, when we were younger, used to dance a lot. Like dancing was your thing. And you know, she made a lot of excuses on, you know, I can't do it anymore kids, that are there.

[00:38:36] And if we sit there in life and you know, come over with excuses on why we can't do something, we're never doing it. So for me to go back to your question for me, and me and my wife talk about this all the time,

[00:38:50] is mainly I love the gym. I love culture, I love football. I love playing Call of Duty, my friends. You know, so those small things. And I'm beyond the team. Sometimes I attack one at a time to see which one makes me fulfilled in that moment.

[00:39:09] And I would play the game by man. This is a working. Okay. Let me go through the gym. I go through the gym. Then I ain't getting it. Right. All right. Let me just, you know, I got a practice, I got a practice at the Rook Lock.

[00:39:21] Let me go see the coaching thing fits. Okay. I feel a lot better. So I think that's the thing with people. You got to find what you're passionate about, find out what you're excited about. And then if you do get those moves, you always have more than one,

[00:39:38] you attack it. You feel like all right. Let me do this. Let me do that. Most people is a gym, you know? Cause not a 10 times people get this negativity roll because they feel like they're not moving forward. Right. They feel stagnant. Now with that sports related,

[00:39:58] financially, you know, are family. They feel like they're not progressing. They're digress and so that's what causes, you know, that mental negative space. So for me, me go through the gym. Hey. Now after like I'm, I feel, I want to say feel. I feel like I'm six pack.

[00:40:19] Right. I feel like I got, I hit my P.R. on the bench first, you know, or with the game, oh, I got to meet my record today. I got to kill 15 more guys in the day yesterday or get more two more W's in the day yesterday. Yeah.

[00:40:33] You know, I mean, with coaching, all right, cool. This kid right here is really not good. Can I get him to this level? So those challenges that I have on wins that I keep mentally that allows me to alleviate where I am over here.

[00:40:48] And it just works for me. I don't know how I did, if everybody knows, but I find that very, you know, helpful for a lot of people. So yeah. Well, you know, I was at work, probably as a work to weeks ago. So like I don't ever work.

[00:41:05] About that work, about two and a half weeks ago, this internet client, I would, we see if I can pull up or quit. That's what I'm talking about. And there it is. And it was outside their gym, lockable lock from it just renovated.

[00:41:21] And a lot of what it says it says people do not decide their features. They decide their habits and their habits decide their features. Mmm. That's right. Dude that was I was like that. And I took a picture of like, nah, I got to save that.

[00:41:39] But you know, there's so much truth that they're not just in sports. I'll get your question is like, okay, not just in sports, but the fact that, you know, that's just a life lesson and it brings that what you, you know, how you use like, you know,

[00:41:52] how can I leave them to be the next, you know, maybe not so much the next, Ray Lewis or the next, whoever is just the beat of best that you can be in what you're given, which leads to this question that I have for you. That's

[00:42:10] because he was getting very impatient. Okay, stop, there we go. All right, go and back. Your question is looking back at your life so far. How would you? How would, okay, I got it. We're going again. Okay, looking back at your life so far,

[00:42:36] we've learned to have athletic career. What drives you to be the greatest that you can be? That's a good question. I'm not, I'm not going too much detail, but right from. So what really draws me in my athletic career? So a lot of people noticed whoever's watching

[00:42:56] on front perimeter, for me to, I was yelling off in the, I'm not going to go to maybe 300 miles east from North Carolina. Anyways, so my dad, my dad used to get me up in four o'clock every morning. I tell the story about because that's where I really

[00:43:12] derived from. Right. He's to give me up before clock every morning to run the beach. And I thought he was crazy. It might be like 12, 13 and 14 years old. Now if you don't know what cricket is, but he was a famous cricketer on the island.

[00:43:25] So if you don't know what cricket is, just for it, please go go to the tonight. A lot of Europeans and a lot of, you know, in the lesion people and different people around the world play cricket. Well, anyways, he's a cricketer player. So his athletic build and,

[00:43:41] you know, athleticism and, you know, make sure you stay in the shape. It was every day. Four o'clock beach run every day. Settles, maybe a thousand. I don't know who's coming. Now so I was 12, no I was younger than that. I was probably seven to eight.

[00:43:56] I think it happened all the way to all was 12. So when me first moved to the United States, that was kind of my, that's what kind of where my work at the carried from. And then as I got older through high school college and even the pros,

[00:44:12] I always felt like I was right there in the middle. And this, and that's probably a mental thing that I put on myself, but it always worked for me. So allow me to push myself even harder to be the best. Now I'm not saying I am the best,

[00:44:27] but to be one of the best, I can honestly say that's helped me. So having an origin story, you know from a father where he came from and then trying to develop that to where I am now and maintain it. So in everything I do,

[00:44:47] I always feel like I'm not, I gotta be better. I gotta be better. I gotta be better. And that's because of my mindset. You know once you start in life, once you start doing small things, like a lot of people may think that it's little

[00:45:01] and doing it the best you can, then your mindset's gonna change. Like, all right, I'm gonna challenge myself to get eight hours of sleep tonight. That might sound a little too huge, but a lot of people cannot do it. No. Or on my challenge myself to lose 10 pounds,

[00:45:17] I'm gonna challenge myself to do 100 pushups by the end of the month. So those little things, those little ways that I kept talking about earlier and to answer your question about your athletic performance and keeping it up is a mindset. It's a mindset.

[00:45:30] And once you change a mindset, you can do whatever you wanna do. Now a lot of people might be asking, all right, if you had that mindset, why are you not, would you wanna be? Well, if that, if that was the case, obviously, I'm a person, I mean,

[00:45:43] I feel like, I still have the picture, you know, everybody has a purpose, but I can honestly say that I put myself in a best position to get where I wanna be. So yeah. I like that, I think that's, now there's so much truth to that

[00:45:58] and oftentimes we allow, we don't realize that we are our own biggest enemy. Yeah, we don't, we come up with excuses as to why we failed, but we don't realize that we don't realize that we, you know, successful people or just people in general,

[00:46:29] they want to be successful. They don't do things consistently because they want to, successful people do it because that's how you become where you wanna get. And like you said, is that, you know, some people would say, if that was the case, like, you know,

[00:46:44] you're being in a failed, okay, well, you know, we're not gonna go forward down the deep road, but you know, that'd be cool, but hey, power, you know, power too, but you know, speaking of success, talking some interfell ball, Lamar Jackson back in the postseason. Let's go.

[00:47:04] And, you know, I see, I see you're even sure there are no posts as it hasn't been very, very nice to Lamar, but MVP type of season, I think he's gonna win it, but we'll see you with the next few weeks. Baltimore's chances

[00:47:20] they get to the Super Bowl and, who, you know, looking at the remaining teams, who's been your surprise team, and who's been your most soccer team that didn't get to even know Dallas, you know, I would sure to be on the show. I was still there.

[00:47:39] I was still there. So soccer team, that's a good question. Soccer team, it's gotta be even so for the AFC, my soccer team is the Bills. Not the reason why I say the Bills, I don't know Josh Allen has been in there,

[00:47:54] play off at the start before it's just the Bills, and the BGD in the season, watching all these takes on the first take and all these different ESP and channels. They were not looking good. No. You know, Josh Allen was an intersection machine.

[00:48:09] And then for the NFC is the lines. I know Dan Campbell was got the boys jacked up with that 1000 milligram of caffeine in their body. Oh my God. But they stopped me because they haven't been in a while. They haven't been since Barry Sanders.

[00:48:26] So those are my two trucking teams. But I think it's all set and down to be honest with you, I think it's gonna be between us and the 49ers for every match. I don't think anybody is messing with Brock Perting and boys

[00:48:41] unless somebody gets hurt a little bit. And I think that our defense and the way we're just being, you know, ball and lately, I don't, I think CJ Straves, he's an amazing player, but I don't think they can get over the hump this weekend. And guess what?

[00:48:56] He's not gonna lose any credibility. No, it's me first year. First year you got to team. You won't play off game. And then you got put up, it's not bad. It's not bad. No, and that was the more, that was the more leisure. Absolutely.

[00:49:09] And the Pinto here you talk to a lot of people that really have used and beaten Cleveland in the first round. So I didn't, I know, I'm not gonna lie. I had Cleveland waiting so I can't sit there and say much. But yeah, yeah.

[00:49:24] So it's good, I went my dad to the ball from Raven's game when they played Cleveland and they played the Bengals. Mm-hmm. There was a face of it. Oh, I bet. It was fine. So I got to, I got to meet a lot of good guys.

[00:49:39] And you know, the biggest thing being athlete, you know, when you go to these games, the first thing in your mind, you're like, he's not that big. Exactly. It's like the TV messes up everything. Yep.

[00:49:54] And you know, even stood next to a couple of guys in my family. You know, you kind of stocked up here. That's, I mean, you can't say, other football players on the same thing. But you stay next to a guy like man, where the same size.

[00:50:05] On paper, he says he's 61, 24, you know, that kind of thing. So it was a great experience with my dad. We got to spend a lot of their time together and just to see those guys play man, it was even better. I think we lost against the Browns

[00:50:21] and then we wanna get some Bengals. That was the game where, Helmutin got the pick, pick, pick the first play. I know between you talk about now. He was, yeah, we lost against the Browns. This one they had to shine on Watson. He got hurt day game.

[00:50:37] Mark Andrews got hurt day game. And then the second game is where we played the Bengals when all black games. So no, man, it was fun. So shout out to my Ravens. I think we got a, I think we always been a great franchise. Oh, yeah.

[00:50:51] I think AFC Norford's all team may have been north. It's pretty good. So, you know, just hope I get there one year. Just give me a two year contract, I'll be fine. Dude, I can see you physically being, but in the helmet on coming now,

[00:51:06] I can see that. That'd be dope. Man, look, if I get it, just keep in the face. Hey. You be my guy. If I do, you be my guy. You be my guy. You, you, you're the first, probably,

[00:51:20] I think you get the first interview I had on the podcast. Yeah, because I think you were supposed to FCS, yeah. Yeah, because I think you were one of, really that, what first of FCS really? Cause I was reaching out, but not many

[00:51:36] was reaching back when that's fine. No big deal, but yeah, I'm like, oh, this is cool. This dude's cool. But, I'm gonna both, man. Dude, I got to pick your brand on this one. Russell Wilson and Denver. What in the world?

[00:51:55] What, what, you know, as I said last night with Danielle and weeks past, I'm sure we're gonna release him or cut him. Yeah, it's just, it just came true. Yeah. Nothing more nothing less. I think he don't get along with the hair coach.

[00:52:15] Shopping, I just don't think that chemistry is there. I think it's been going on the whole season, you know, NFL only allows you to see what they want you to see. So I think the chemistry was bad for the beginning.

[00:52:28] I think that those type of coaches need quarterbacks on the same level of talent. So when I say the same level of talent to the breeze, I think that I'm not saying Russell Wilson is a bad quarterback. Right. But what I'm saying is,

[00:52:46] you know how you get level headed into arrogant. I think champagne felt like this has been, and this is a assumption. He probably felt like this place for the win this way or we should call this play. And Russell Wilson being the way he is with Piccaro.

[00:53:02] No, Piccaro allowed him to call some play. Piccaro doesn't see this date even with Bridgewater. He allows him to say, hey, you know, I've seen it call it a play. You feel like it's best. And I think that Russell Wilson and Sean Payton bumpheads right there.

[00:53:16] You know, that's where they both is. So talk to by the Broncos. That was kind of my first work. I was straight on a call that just as crazy. That's what to you know what's funny? I think I want to say on the first,

[00:53:30] the first time you came on, I think I thought you were. I think you did that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So that's been a long time. It's crazy how talent flies. Did that know for real though?

[00:53:43] Did the altitude, did the altitude mess up mess with you a little bit? Working out of the team. Honestly, I think it didn't. If I could last for a member. I got crazy storytelling. So when I first moved to the States,

[00:53:54] so I don't know if he was to humidity or what, but back home, it promoted the ocean ocean provides kind of moisture. Right. I'm as mad at him. I've been in my whole life. I've had a problem recently, but when I first got to the United States,

[00:54:08] the air was so dry. So that's the foot out there for it. It was completely different. I had to go straight to the hospital. Straight to the hospital. We didn't even go to the park. I mean, I think I had an even was an azine-tech

[00:54:21] or panic attack almost seven years ago. I was crazy. So I mean, it was crazy. It was crazy. So that just explains a lot of people say, oh, the weather doesn't matter. If you're absolutely you can plant no. No, it is. If you don't live there trust me.

[00:54:40] And that's why a lot of these sports analysts don't know what they're talking about, cause they've never done it. Well, no, exactly. That's why I was listening to interview Dr. Gernon. He said, because they asked me about Denver.

[00:54:50] He said, it didn't matter if he was with the head coach with Oakland at the time, or obviously the last Vegas before he got fired or with Tampa Bay, he said, I had to physically have my team travel. They are too early to Denver just so they can

[00:55:04] acclimate themselves with the outfit because it's actually real issue. But, you know, there's a lot of that crisis going right now. You know, it's great. I already knew my move was going to lose the moment. Hey, step by step. That's what you got.

[00:55:23] I don't care if they have. They're not used to that weather. I feel bad for him. I don't. I don't. I don't. Dude, yeah, I think I was a problem. And I like to with two or more of the Russell Wilson. They're very, very decisive.

[00:55:41] Same kind of deal. You know, they do quick throws and, you know, so for. So yeah. Who's the biggest threat? Teno Kansas season in Mexico. I'm not just sold on Kansas City at all. I don't know. They, they, I don't know. I know it's a postseason now.

[00:56:01] So you never know. It's Buffalo any kind of threat to, I mean, they got to get by Kansas City first. But if they can get by Kansas City this week, kid Buffalo be a legit threat to Baltimore, assuming the Baltimore makes it. The AC championship game next week.

[00:56:15] Could they be at the threat to or not so much? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Um, see the thing my Buffalo is Josh Allen's on run the ball. So yeah. Anytime, a lot of people don't understand this, but I've been watching the Ravens and Album before,

[00:56:34] but for a long time. And I would say, there's a comparison between you two. You know, Oscar Newsman was the owner. He used to be at Album. He used to recruit all of us. Album players to the Ravens because they run the same defense.

[00:56:47] You know, I think that we will have more trouble with with the bills and Kansas City because Josh Allen couldn't run the ball. I don't think it's nothing else. I just think that Josh Allen's good at. He'll throw 35 in the championship. He's almost like 2.0, James Winston.

[00:57:09] But I'll never count out. Never count out. They quarterback over there for Kansas City. Mr. Patty Holmes. Dude, okay. You can't. They've been dropping balls all year. I run a plea when they play it in their first run. Yeah. They catch an everything. No, no.

[00:57:28] And then that Taylor Swift, they back there, God. Dude. But no, um, I was glad to still go put out. I was too. Yeah. We play the freakin' stealers. It's a bundle. So yeah. Are you on the Taylor Swift, Ben Waggan for the NFL? No.

[00:57:46] I don't even know what Taylor Swift sings. I don't know what he's gonna do. I couldn't have tell you. I haven't no idea. I'm out of fan of hers. Never have. I think it's really annoying. The fact that they go to her more than I do the game.

[00:57:59] But yeah. Maybe it's ratings. Of course it is. Everybody watch football, but they watch Taylor Swift. So, you know, anything to sell it's a game. Well, anything for ratings, they'll say, literally they'll say anything they want to get anything out of people.

[00:58:17] But, you know, real quick, as we wind down, coaches, bill bell chicks, obviously out of New England, even though, you know, fired out who cares. He's out. I'm a little surprised Mike McCarthy's staying with Dallas. I thought, shocked. I really thought he was done the following Monday,

[00:58:35] but he's or I guess, yeah, Monday. I'll say he's safe, but Pete carols out and there's a few more. It's wide open right now. He surprised Mike Tomman hasn't bit the dust yet. No, I think that, okay. And I'm gonna be real frank with you.

[00:59:00] Everybody in sports and in life, when they feel like they get to a certain age, they tell yourself, I just want one more. I even tell myself that now. That's like, all right, I'm 32, I just need one more opportunity. Right.

[00:59:17] So, because you know that if you get that last opportunity, you can give it all, yeah. And then that's when you know that, hey, I gave it all my happy, you could be more at peace with it. So, I'm not surprised at all that he's, you know.

[00:59:31] I think he wasn't with one more suitable. So, I think next year, if you don't have to retire this year, then next year it would be his last year. Maybe personally. I think he retired because you can see, you can see the trend, next day being Bill Belloff,

[00:59:46] you know, those guys are retired. Not Bill Belloff, check them out. Next day being in who was retired, someone else retired. And my Mr. somebody. I just quit it. He just quit, I'm sorry. But you can see the trend of coaches moving around a little bit,

[01:00:05] but I don't think that Mike Tomlom will be with. Well, he's not the type to see the ASC North. They don't really, especially the radius of the Steelers, I don't see them going anywhere. They're going to retire before they get another coach over there.

[01:00:18] I think Bill Belloff takes a good time to a lot of faculty or the charges. I think that's the best fit for him, you know, my car is staying in Dallas Cowboys, which is unfortunate. I think he's a great coach, but you know,

[01:00:30] he just can't get it done in the end. And that's Jerry Jones. He wants to be a coach and I want to at the same time. No man, I think 2020 the next football season is going to be crazy and hopefully I'll be in it. I could see it.

[01:00:49] I, you know, I believe with the other, it could happen and it will happen. 2020, four obviously we're just 18 days now in. We're talking prime time early in the show. Could we potentially see prime time and big D in 2025 with Shoulder Sanders being quarterback for the Cowboys?

[01:01:14] It's a strong possibility. It's not look, look, I get it. It's not the money. Right exactly. It's not, it's not the fame. I mean, if you, when you start looking at those possibilities, your chance here is so like, well, it's, it's possible because he's not after the money.

[01:01:33] He's not a good fan. He already has those things. So what is the after? And I thought to myself, I said, it's got to get legacy. So we after that legacy, right? So I think it's a strong possibility that wherever Shoulder goes, he's going, you know,

[01:01:50] he's one man, you know, it's the same thing. But he knows that Shoulder is different. He can ball. He can play ball. No, they can't. That's what ever reason Shoulder gets more, I mean, I know he's quarterback, but I want to.

[01:02:07] So I don't feel like, I want some, you know, I want some, I want some, I want some, you know, he's kind of like, I kind of get the feel he's trying to get out of Shoulder's limelight. He is. He is, but it's weird.

[01:02:21] I don't think that Shoulder was going to be. And this might be strange, but I don't think Shoulder is going to be that like, whole of a family player. No, I don't know. He don't get off to me as in like, I want to play this

[01:02:38] for the next one years. They come as off to me like, hey, I'm really good at this. And I'm doing it because my dad's the coach, but Shoulder comes off to me like, hey, this is what I want to do. Oh, my four.

[01:02:50] This is what I want to do. I want to become the best. I want to be the best. So it's the possibility, man. You know, I'm, I hope he doesn't, but you know, I don't like that was God. I don't need that.

[01:03:02] God boy, he's a big fan of God of God boys and I was getting held every day. I don't need a jury. Johnville, you know, as long as he's the head coach and general manager of water boy, ball boy, everything he wants to be, they're going to continue

[01:03:18] to be where they're at because that's just how Dallas rolls. And real quick, and then we'll go to the five question hot seat presented by W. Travis Hunter. You see him making in the pros? Of course. What person now? What position do you think he'll be receiving still?

[01:03:42] No, we're. We're. Think of him. He did. B. B. He. He. The reason why I say D.B. is because he's he wants to be in, um, proud time shadows. He wants to be that. I could see that. He's like his protege. Now where will he be at?

[01:03:59] I think it's going to be safety. I think he's, I think he's a better. And it was what I said is better. The same thing is because, um, his closure speed is crazy. Like it's like to me for to be a safety, your closure

[01:04:14] speed has to be immaculate to be a corner. Your your ball skills and your twitchiness, twitchiness needs to be immaculate. Right. You need to be able to go from 0 to 10 back to five back to 20 in a matter of stuff in my fingers at corner.

[01:04:33] Safety, you have to go from 0 to 20 to 30 and then maybe back to 25 that makes sense. Mm-hmm. So you have to spread along with duration at safety and cover ground. And then according, you just have to have ball skills and be twitchy.

[01:04:48] So yeah, I was kind of curious what your thoughts works. I mean, he's another kid that can fly out play ball. You know, I know he plays both sides of the, um, of the field and kind of getting your opinion on where he, uh, may end up at.

[01:05:07] Yeah, we take him at the Ravens. Yeah, I want to mind your term in my Ohio. Yeah. Yeah. But we don't need time. So that I don't think that would work out. Yeah. Maybe we will have the next year. You never know.

[01:05:20] He's probably going to go with travel houses and sugar. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. Excuse me. As we wind down the show, let's head to the, uh, five. What? Uh, inner a drinks and all of your, uh, okay. Now you're just annoying me.

[01:05:47] All of your energy drinks and energy supplements that will last throughout the day and during your workouts. Question number one, uh, we're going to make it to courtesy of the, um, uh, her barrage podcast. They do it with question. It's called, well, they do three questions.

[01:06:06] But, uh, one of it's called work play and live. So in work, you got the person will give you or you have to think that was also your coworker play is somebody you're hanging out with going, whatever, hanging out in public doing whatever.

[01:06:21] And then with is going to be your neighbor. It could be in the apartment. It could be house. It could be content, whatever. Um, however, saying you will like, so obviously courtesy of the fact that you are a Baltimore. Right, what's going to go Baltimore?

[01:06:36] Right, what's going on? Right, what's going on? Um, uh, additional on this thing. Someone give you three players play, working live and I let you figure out them. Number one, let's go right Lewis. Of course, you can't, you know, everybody thinks of Baltimore. You think of Ray Lewis.

[01:06:51] Let's go and read and then, of course, you know, Joe Flacco. Let's go with Mr. Good old Joey, we know you probably could have gone trail sugs and so on and so forth. But, uh, so you get every Ray Lewis and Joe Flacco work late in the live.

[01:07:10] So plays the friend, live is like somebody you live with. Uh, we'll make it your neighbor. Okay. That's easy. Very Lewis work. Of course. Oh, do absolutely. Yeah, they got, I mean, he got the best work after that. You can't be. Yep. Every, uh, live, live.

[01:07:30] Um, no, no, I take it back. Every will be played play. Oh, yes. Because every is fun. He's always energetic and he smokes the guards. I'm not a decent guard fan, but I mean, I think that would be pretty cool. He's laid back and then Joe Flacco live.

[01:07:45] He seems like the type of guy that you want them around watching your house, you know, to water the guard. To walk you dog when you're out. I mean, he just seems like a standup and not say that because I mean,

[01:08:00] I seen the interviews on Sam talk and seeing, you know, he's just a little bit of a dope guy. So it'd be my, he'll be my gardener or slash dog walker, or something like that. He's going to be, um, oh my god, I can think of full house,

[01:08:15] Danny. Um, I see a cool house at the home. Oh my god, I can't think of the last name now. Thank you for the other stuff. But anyway, I can see I can take a Danny. He's he's going to be your, I'm going out of town.

[01:08:28] Oh, I got you and he come back and you forgot to mow your yard. You come back in your yard, mow, what dogs fit and everything else. Sada house is clean. Ray, lose the type by hey, you need to do it yourself.

[01:08:43] Ray, Lewis, they're going to be one that at work. He can flat out with a you fly. You show you four minutes like you fly here. But the same. I'm still have fun. Question number two. I don't talk much of it because it's just a topic that,

[01:08:57] unfortunately, nobody wins at any more. It feels like is, you know, 2024 means the election is, is this year and politics, the course, you know, that's that's always a topic that a lot of people, unfortunately, you lose a lot of friends on or you cause a lot of

[01:09:14] things whatever. If you were running for president this year, what were your campaign slogan be and who would be your vice president? Literally Keith, it can be anybody. It's just completely simulation role. So, however you want to pick and run with this thing,

[01:09:33] man, my slogan will be changing the narrative. Oh, I like that one. And then my vice president probably my best friend, Rodriguez, Washington's three. I like that. No, the reason I'll put him is because he's, he's he's very intellectual. And he's, you know, he's very, very laid back.

[01:09:53] And he's a type of guy. You ask him a question. He'll find a solution. You have a point in the final solution quick. I'm the same way, but he to me, he's like, it then, he's on another level. So yeah. Question three and so far, the favorite,

[01:10:09] their respective favorite team has absolutely lost. And everybody's taking the money. So I'm going to ask you on this one. You have an opportunity to watch the Baltimore of the United States. All right, Ravens physically in Las Vegas this year

[01:10:23] for Super Bowl, whatever number this is at this point. 50 yard a week or sweets, it all matter whenever it's against the B. Or you have the opportunity that or taking 20 mil however if you take the money, you obviously physically have to leave the stadium

[01:10:41] and you gotta watch the Super Bowl from a television that may or may not go out because fans of the bar or whatever may bust. Or we could have to have the power riders like we did back when they first met with Sam friend and in Baltimore.

[01:11:03] I know a lot of people say, it's easy to take the money. I mean, that's my first mom. But money came by every day. Money came by experience is I'm a big experience versus saute time here. I'll take it again. Congrats, you are the first one

[01:11:19] that absolutely kept the loyalty to their team. No disrespect to the other ones that don't know. But I'm really surprised, I'm with you, the fact that if someone said, hey my ears, here's tickets to Denver Super Bowl. Oh, I'm snat and here's 25 now I forget that

[01:11:35] because one number one I can't afford, I would never afford, the Super Bowl tickets period number one. Number two, we may not ever make it back. And number three, even if I had a 2025 million, I still can't buy a Super Bowl tickets

[01:11:50] because I don't want to watch nobody else's team play. And look at mine, some of you exactly exactly. That's my mom said, but yeah, I'm making back. Exactly, we don't take care of this. So yeah, it's what you mean, you mean, right?

[01:12:02] But I'm a dire fan, man, I love the game. I'm about experiences. You came by everything with money. So I'll take the experience because he might meet me in there that's there. They might give you two, three, four, five million dollars just for the other. Yeah, yeah.

[01:12:21] So I'll be the first person to like you and the first, yeah, you probably will be. Man, I'm gonna say this, I'm saying this, I'm saying this, my, like every just like I owe them, they're like, I think I start thinking about everything. Like you have to, yeah.

[01:12:35] When I was younger, oh, you met 20 minutes. But now I was like, I'm trying to be intellectual about, I might, you might actually, hey, what cause is God? I was like, yeah, it's blue, but you know, sometimes it's great. And it's great because that's the kind of monster

[01:12:50] that I'm got now, like I can't give you a straight answer. I have to give you details. You know, me being the engineer of my day job, you know, that makes it, makes it a lot, you know, easier to talk about. Well, no, absolutely, because I mean,

[01:13:05] I can say here and tell you, you know, you said, you know, what Mike's, what, what are your thoughts on X, Y, and Z? Well, here's what I can give you. But here's, here's where I can give you, but I gotta give you the exact, but what else?

[01:13:23] The word is, okay, 20, 20. I love that. Hit to them. Yeah, see, I always tell, let's go. See, you know, see, there's different monsters of that. You know, that's what's up. We've been through a lot. Been through a lot, so our hermo wife is, this is dope.

[01:13:43] Matterspecting them, shout out to the wife and the mom. Absolutely. White, probably, sleep, right? Now she probably room sleep. I heard her phone. The other room was like, you get some privacy, but it's all, it's all, it's all of the. No, that's what's up.

[01:13:59] Last two and out and in this one, if there is one, if there is one coach, you can be college, you can be pros, it no matter what level. If there is one coach that you would wish you could either there's currently our still coaching

[01:14:15] or previously have coached or unfortunately passed on, but you wish you could have played for him. Is what coach would be that one coach you would wish you would have played for or would play for if there's currently still coaching? Andy Reed. Hands up.

[01:14:32] Andy Reed, I think Andy Reed's probably about four or the best, one of the best. I'll, he's my top three. I think I just think that his mind's had it. It's always steadily changing. I sit, I sit there watching. I watch a lot of hard knocks,

[01:14:49] I watch for more, watch a lot of videos. And it resmared him. He's more serious. And between him and Bill Boucher, the reason why I said Bill Boucher is because Bill Boucher gives guys opportunities. Going back to what I said earlier, that's why you can say anybody

[01:15:05] can sit there and argue that Tom Brady was the reason why they wanted some championships. He has, of course, he had a major part. But who knew about that kid from West Alabama? And I was with there. They caught the game when the inception against the C-Lawks.

[01:15:21] So just those two guys to me are like, and I would say mixed up, but mixed up was kind of what's I were before. He was very, very, he's who I am now. His patience for, it's always a patience, is like, it's really short. Oh, he has none.

[01:15:41] Yeah. He has none. So if you feel like he was playing with him or he felt like you're not good enough or he felt like he wants the best, which I would ever say. So absolutely. I mean, that's why he's the goder

[01:15:56] or one of the goder to college football. Yeah. He's definitely below. I mean, he's my goder. Oh, my four, yes. I don't care when it makes this. Last but not least, as we wrap up this show, looking, we obviously went over 18, yeah, 18 days in the 2024 year.

[01:16:19] What are your, I know goals, resolutions, what some calls it? But what are you looking forward to and what are you kind of foreseen or hopefully for this year as we who take on this new year? And I'm beyond the jungle and pro. I'm going pro.

[01:16:38] I already, you know, I saw the vision multiple times when I was in your dream. You're never that. I'm going pro. I just got to get my mind mentally ready for it. Right. Any opportunity to present this up? And I just need to make sure

[01:16:52] that not only my family's ready, but you know, everything that we spoke and me my wife's spoken about comes to fruition. And another thing, you know, my walk of God and I could sit there and blame COVID, which is what I'm going to do right now.

[01:17:12] But you know, no one messed me up, man. I was a little bit, I'm a rhythm person of a pattern person. Yeah. COVID got me out of, I don't know. I should be blamed on COVID's been years. But I've been struggling to find church home.

[01:17:25] And so, me and my wife talk about it every week. And I think that God knows it. I think he knows my heart. But I want to find a church home that feel like it's right for us. Absolutely.

[01:17:37] And we have a church home that we both grew up in, actually, ironically, but we just feel like it's at this moment in life is not it. So, prayer for God for a new church home. And me going pro and her daycare blowing up,

[01:17:57] I'm out TV's on the side. So hopefully my entrepreneurship grows up. And you know, your podcast builds up. So that's what I'm hoping for. All vibes, all the vibes and 24. Yes, sir. That's definitely 24 for me. Besides a few other things,

[01:18:15] podcasts being one of them that hopefully this year that blows up or at least it takes off literally, I know it's a plan in the logo. But you know, we'll see. But so far, I think it works. So good. Look at, I'll give you an example.

[01:18:31] Look at Shanna Shark. We broke out Williams on the show. And we talk more about it in all of the lives. But God got some plans for your marriage. We just got to sometimes just keep working, keep pushing, keep working, keep putting our good content.

[01:18:49] And then doing what's going on, it's going to open. Yes, sir? If I was your man, I'd just keep my keep adding. Don't give up. Well, I know that the list that I get, which is somewhere around here.

[01:19:05] That's going to be on or potential beyond is it's pretty good. It's a lot better than, well, last year, I don't think I put that much, but a lot better than has been. But no, it's going to be a good year for all of both of us.

[01:19:20] I think it's going to be a big time year and we'll run with that. Yeah, yeah. Look forward to it, man. You know, I'm always here. So once I make it, I'm definitely going to be a shout out. Yes, sir.

[01:19:34] And you invite chance of if Denver recalls you, let me know because I got to beat you to the DIA. I got to beat you to the DIA first to greet you at the Denver National Airport, and then you can go to your thing and then you

[01:19:45] would have to drink. Yeah. Yeah, man. I was saying my last reason I'm done, but I've had so many players in the fellow coaches tell me personally about, hey, you should be there. You have a talent, you have a firm, the steel sergeant.

[01:20:05] You know, I ain't the only one. So that's always kind of a good feeling. But that separates a lot people at faith. So yeah, I think about 100 people's doing podcasts. Oh, yes. But that faith is going to separate you from the rest of us.

[01:20:22] Just keep at it, man. I appreciate you calling in and helping to, like we always do, man, we got the good chemistry going and a pretty praying for the family still and it's always a pleasure, man. Hey, you got my support, my man.

[01:20:35] And where are the good Lord lead you guys this year? Yeah, I got you supporting them. I'll be right on the sideline, rooting for you and for your dreams as always. Guys, that's another wrap on this one. It's been a fun show. Real fun show, as always.
