[00:01:18] Especially in college football and if you're like me College football is a huge part of our life. And so every Saturday Morning we get up we get ready and we get ready for a big day of college football But that being said

[00:01:36] Well, let's hold up on that. So if you're just joining in Welcome aboard. This is our launch night on Sportscaster. It's a great app to be on So we'll be talking college football. What will This 2020 season look like well, we even see a 2020 season

[00:01:59] First and foremost, we don't know But what I do what I can tell you right now is there's the big 10 the Pac-12 the Mountain West Conference Yukon Old Dominion Massachusetts all has canceled the 2020 season Mountain West Pac-12 big 10 plans on playing spring of 2021

[00:02:23] Not a definite. I know I've been reading a lot on Twitter A lot of coaches are coming out and saying You know replaying from 20, you know starting in 2021 coming back then in the fall of 2021 That's gonna be a lot for our kids

[00:02:42] Recruiting so on and so forth again, you know, we don't know what the answer is to this the big 12 currently still meeting with their athletic directors in regards to Their 2020 season the SEC Is going forward

[00:03:02] The last I heard the ACC is trying to be in that same boat as the Southeastern Conference Sunbelt saying that they're gonna go forward now Interesting part. This is where things could get interesting For say the big 12 and in my opinion the big 12 of course

[00:03:21] Has had much success in the college football playoff Oklahoma Losing the Clemson losing to Georgia losing to Alabama losing the course LSU last season and they practically beat down Had Georgia on the ropes let them go Clemson was a good game in the first half Alabama

[00:03:39] Course steamrolled in their game two years ago, but again you look at it The big 12 holds the key now What I mean by that is this Nebraska's willing now. I don't know how it works. I know TV revenue. I've heard, you know, there's TV discontracts galore

[00:03:57] Of course not in the legal process of that But teams are wanting to play there's rumors out there reports out there, Ohio State Iowa Michigan, Wisconsin Penn State to Michigan State after Nebraska for Iowa You know, they want to play they want to place in football

[00:04:17] They're being linked to the big 10 I mean the big 12 of my apologies big 12 Now again how I don't know if they can switch I don't know that's like I said that's beyond my Beyond my expertise on that one. I know there's TV

[00:04:33] Contracts that grants these teams so on and so forth. I don't know if that has a lot to play in But just imagine this Nebraska course wants to come back so to speak quote-unquote come back

[00:04:48] If you're on sports cast you're welcome. This is my first night. I hope I'm Doing this pretty well. It's my first night pretty cool pretty cool. So welcome aboard So again, we'll see we'll see exactly what the big 12 the big 12 in my opinion holds

[00:05:04] Holds the key to college football They haven't had much success In the college football playoff Obviously have it won a national championship since 2005 when Texas beat USC and probably my opinion one of the best

[00:05:20] National championship games if not one of the best college college football games of all time Of course, Oklahoma back in 2000 I think of Nebraska when they were where in the big 12 losing to no one and getting steamrolled by Miami

[00:05:34] Probably the best team well, I guess I'll show you this pass. You probably beat them But one of the best Miami teams by four but To talk about the present The big 12 holds the key Big 12 and the reason why and here's why I say that

[00:05:51] You got teams are wanting to play football Now if you're the big 12 And I've written some reports They expect the big 12 to approve the 2020 season And to revise the season, of course the one non-conference game nine conference game, which they already play

[00:06:12] That's not even a not even a factor In it but We'll see We'll see exactly what the big 12 decides to falling decides to do If you're the big 12 is what I'm doing if I'm Commissioner Bosley

[00:06:31] I'm reaching out to Nebraska. I'm reaching out to Ohio State. I'm reaching out to Penn State Michigan, I don't know how many you need. I mean they're obviously at 10. Do you go 16? Be that first mega conference for 2020 now

[00:06:50] Here's what I get as we as I look down my agenda list. We talked mega conferences Let's just play devil's advocate That Nebraska says hey this worked fine Horse coach Scott Frost had his opinion about

[00:07:08] Commissioner of the big 10 today a lot of people are upset how the big 10 commissioner how not just a commissioner alone But the leadership alone of the big 10 conference West today they were Pretty upset, but I mean if you look at the contrary side, you got a virus

[00:07:23] That's definitely spreading like wildfire and you got to play both sides You look at the you look at the college football Just in itself This is could be the opportunity that the big 12 that the

[00:07:40] Other conferences need now I'm not seeing Ohio State. I won't say Ohio State's gonna jump to the AAC The American athletic I'm not gonna sit here and say that It's gonna jump to the conference. Yeah, that's not gonna happen

[00:07:53] I mean if you're desperate to play then go for it. I guess go for it But this the big 12 was the key and this is where things could get interesting packed well for example

[00:08:08] The big 12 can reach out to a lot of teams the SEC could reach out still to an extent another already at 14 But for a season why I mean why not? The ACC of course with an order name Maybe they want to reach out. Don't forget BYU

[00:08:27] still a independent Team and pretty a decent caliber team They can give some teams some fits. I mean I'm looking to the big 12 in general and they're probably at least Fourth best fifth best team the conference behind Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Give or take

[00:08:51] Give or take Baylor depends on what kind of year they're having But the big 12 if I'm the big 12 I'm really going to use this opportunity I'm gonna vouch for the big 12. I live in big 12 country. I'm a huge Oklahoma sooner fan. I know the big 12

[00:09:08] I'm gonna be reaching out. I'm gonna be reaching out to that phone calls in Nebraska. I read a report by team Brando Parallel in Nebraska and in the big 12, I guess that door is opening we'll see

[00:09:27] We'll see what that happens with Nebraska could Ohio State whole Ohio State sneak in My thing is if you do bring these teams in what happened to me again, you can't just spring in five six teams and

[00:09:42] Then keep your regular schedule and expect this to go by I'll be perfectly fine with Oklahoma Eliminating and I'm not saying kicking Kansas to the curve, but let's replace Michigan with Kansas Let's replace Wisconsin with with

[00:10:00] Texas tech let's replace West Virginia with Ohio State or Iowa or Nebraska So on and so forth This is where the big 12 holds the key now We have the back 12 You got Arizona Arizona State USC UCLA not everybody's gonna be playing this year and I get that

[00:10:25] We still like I said the big 12 may still come up here at 747 central time The big 12 may come up at 8 o'clock tonight here in 13 minutes and say we're done. We're not gonna do it. That's it possibility

[00:10:42] Now I don't know on sportscast like I said, I'm new to this. I don't know if you can comment But if you do definitely feel free your thoughts and your thoughts in I love to To rate them let me know what you guys are thinking

[00:11:23] The beginning of the mega conference The big 12 has a chance to make it Now what they do with it? I mean, that's that's your own thing. I Wouldn't mind seeing Arizona Arizona State. I really would love to see the big 10 teams in here

[00:11:39] But for a year is this the beginning of what we all thought the mega conference was or here That could happen at this rate. I mean we got nothing like I said, I'm going off Depend if I'm the big 12

[00:12:00] Personally, I'm going after Nebraska bring it. I mean they're familiar with the conference. Of course, you know, they're not You know, of course West Virginia TCU Was not in the conference at the time when Nebraska was but they're familiar with the conference for this year Bring them in

[00:12:19] Go after Ohio State if they want to play go after Penn State I would love to see Oklahoma go to happy Valley and Play Penn State We'll see If I'm the big 12 my final teams probably would be I

[00:12:37] Purchase it to six. I would go Michigan, Ohio State Penn State Nebraska Probably go Wisconsin Arizona Arizona State will be my six You bring in some of the West Coast mountain area you bring in the

[00:12:53] Northern teams I can play football was constant of course ground run heavy galore Ohio State We all know that what kind of caliber team they are Michigan can have some good teams, but they just can't beat Ohio State and

[00:13:09] Nebraska's programs trying to get back on the winning side. They've found years here as of late, but You look out Arizona State to get up and come in program

[00:13:20] Arizona is trying to get back to at least what they were when Mike stupe was the head coach of that Arizona But we'll see like I said It's gonna be interesting in my opinion the big 12 holds the key the SEC dominates the conference that

[00:13:38] dominates the college football world There's no way around it The SEC definitely dominates not taking anything away from them Thank you for the tips. I'm completely new to this on sportscaster, so Help me out throughout. Yeah, I've been appreciate you guys Again if you're listening to the broadcast

We'll see the pack 12 again if you're just joining them big 10 pack 12 officially canceling the 2020 college football season And of course all fall sports as well and the Mountain West Conference Teams familiar if you're familiar with that conference if you're not Boise State

[00:14:46] San Diego State Air Force just name a few In that conference, they will be canceling as well. Of course Connecticut Old Dominion and Massachusetts Single teams will be canceling their season Mountain West big 10 pack 12 hoping to play in the 2020 2021 spring season

[00:15:10] Which brings to that let's talk spring season. We're looking at spring football now, of course we all are familiar Excuse me all familiar with Spring football in the United States has not turned out so well if you look at it this way I Wouldn't mind it on

[00:15:30] two reasons If you're not a baseball fan, it takes care of that It kind of fails the void from the NFL from the Super Bowl until you get You know, I mean I get I like the draft

[00:15:47] But to fill in you got the fill in until you get to training camp in August July August you got all kinds of opportunities now Bad part of that is this you got a follow-up With the fall season in 2021 Is it possible? Yes

[00:16:09] How would you schedule it I? Don't really know. I don't know how you would Schedule it if you were starting January can you imagine January football in Wisconsin? Michigan Talk about cold, Minnesota It's doable You would have to really really really Work and schedule that to a tee

[00:16:41] To get to where you can because you still got to recruit. Don't forget National signing days in February and you still got a recruit that's gonna take care of your recruiting We'll see a Lot of questions a lot of answers still be asked still be answered

[00:16:59] I'm just giving you my thoughts on what the conference Conferences should do what college football should do I say Go with your good instinct. I mean Regardless, you're gonna be wrong according to somebody you can be right according to some people

[00:17:17] The SEC dominates again caught dog college football the big tolls trying to get their name recognition back To where it once was when Texas was dominant when Oklahoma was dominant the early night or the

[00:17:30] Mid 90s of course when there was the big eight that switched over to the big 12 when they expanded Nebraska even Colorado and 1990 even a and m in the early in the 90s team So we'll see if I'm big 12 Go be that risk taker

[00:17:49] The ACC is gonna be interesting. I think the ACC really is going to follow suit on what The big 12 does I think I think the SEC is pretty I think the SEC is pretty sold on moving forward and rightfully so a lot of coaches are putting in

[00:18:10] Inconsiderate of the considerate of considering I should say Of the players a lot of players come from a rough background city life so on and so forth The chances of catching it probably more of a higher risk, I know Nick saving mentioned it

[00:18:28] I know Joe Klatt mentioned it on his Twitter of Potentially has a higher chance of catching COVID than you probably would if you were on campus So I Think the SEC is gonna continue. I think the ACC is probably going to follow

[00:18:48] Whatever happens with the big 12 big 12 by my personal opinion I say big 12 continues. I Don't see the big 12 canceling I think you're gonna see the American athletic. I think you're gonna see The big 12 the SEC the ACC I Know conference USA. I know you get to Sunbelt

[00:19:11] So you're gonna have six conferences playing this year Whether or not teams can move I don't know I have no idea if that's even possible like I mentioned earlier in the show You have you have all kinds of all kinds of contracts TV grants

[00:19:36] All I mean really they got all kinds all kinds of Legal stuff. I'm not even gonna get into that's so much that goes into that It's gonna be interesting. I love college football. I really hope it doesn't go away in 2020

[00:19:55] If we have to see it in spring so be it. I mean, it's not gonna You know, I guess we can wait a little bit few more in a few more months

[00:21:18] The NFL the NFL course as far as I know is doing well a lot of players especially here at New England Patriots You got a lot of opt-outs if you're the Denver Broncos Joann James right tackle Opting out if you know me I'm a Broncos fan and

[00:21:35] So that was a pretty interesting move on Joann James's part huge Peace missing on the right tackle, but again the Broncos signing DeMar dots and earlier just about moments ago

[00:21:49] And so we are up and running. I think he'll be at least feeling death part. I expect Elijah Wilkinson to take that right tackle spot come the Kick opening week of the NFL Season as they take on Tennessee, I believe on the Monday night football

[00:22:10] Going back to college football And what else is there saying big 10 pack 12 gone cancelled? Mountain West joins a club big 12 still in the beans haven't heard yet Well, hold on breaking news All right, just joining in

[00:22:29] Breaking news. I just received a news notification here from our local news station here in Oklahoma City The big 12 approved it and they are moving forward so that with that being said the big 12 will have Will have the 2020 season

[00:22:44] So if you're just joining us on sportscaster and also Listening on the air attack podcast the big 12 conference has approved To move forward with the 2020 season And with that being said Oklahoma and things off against military state sometime in the month of September

[00:23:05] As they try to make it six straight big 12 championships And hopefully we can make it to the playoff and maybe get that first first playoff when of course You gotta have you gotta have some jokes aside when things are and for things are pretty

[00:23:19] Interesting at the time being so again big 12 joining The ranks of the SEC more than likely the ACC is gonna go into stay hold big 10 bit in the pack 12 will be dismissed So there you go, there you have it

[00:23:36] Big 12 now where we see them going up to Nebraska Will we see them go off to Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio State even go after some packed 12 teams? Will they bring in Colorado? We'll see I

[00:23:48] Don't know scheduling wise what that will do. I know a lot of course the SEC the ACC Approved the conference only schedule Maybe the big 12 can do something like that and just bring in some teams call it conference schedule and go forward We'll see

[00:24:06] Course Oklahoma, Nebraska play 2021 next year in Norman Then oh you returns to favor in 2022 to Lincoln, Nebraska Course the first time in a long time the show is back up and running. That's why we're kind of all over the place Just so much to really think in

[00:30:18] And then we'll end it hopefully on a good note and no complications from there So what without further ado, let's talk college football of course college football with we all know the COVID-19 pandemic What it has caused and what it has not caused is

[00:30:37] Everybody wearing masks what we've gone to is everywhere masks social distancing Schools are in between whether or not they want to do school online virtual whatever the case may be Let's be honest our social life has changed

[00:30:53] Drastically and so has the college football world what we do know as of this if you just missed out on the missed out on the last episode It was a practically during the episode the big 12 made the announcement that they are going to move forward

[00:31:08] with the 2020 season and So that brings us to three conferences in the power five the big 10 and the pack 12 are out for 2020 And the mid americas what actually started this domino effect mid american conference and it followed by the

[00:31:25] What I guess the big 10 pack 12 in the mountain west practically all in the same day So that brings us to the big 12 the sec and the acc We'll talk that we'll talk who my heisman winner college football playoff the a

[00:31:40] National championship winner and who's gonna be my dark horse So without further ado, let's get things going the acc and of course the acc is going to look a little different

[00:31:51] If you look at the acc top to bottom, I think climbson runs away with the with the league I think the team that keep an eye on is notodame ian book For noraday fighting irish. I think could be the keyer

[00:32:03] For the iris this year, especially at the quarterback position um, of course He's 19 three as the iris starter. He of course threw over 30 uh, 3000 yards a year ago And 34 to six touchdowns to ian t's he also

[00:32:20] Rush has rushed over career over a thousand yards. I think book he can run. He's mobile he can be a He's a dual threat. You can make it throw through the air. You can run on the ground

[00:32:30] I think he's a key to noraday and success in the acc just for this year, of course um We'll see. I think somehow the quarterback at north carolina. I expect big things from north north carolina now whether or not they

[00:32:46] Make any difference to run? I don't know now the acc is going to look how the acc is going to look is Of course, you had your two divisions your coastal And your alennah divisions this year. It's just flat out

[00:33:00] I think it's 14 15 teams in the in the league. You're taught be winning percentage So practically the top two teams If it's high breakers, I'll let them handle that part. But again, I think clemson. I think clemson Uh runs with the conference Trevor lorns, let's be honest

[00:33:20] Travis Eaton in the backfield too much talent. I don't see how Clemson doesn't win the acc I believe they go to south bend the plan noraday if i'm not mistaken So we'll see Um, how that goes in the meantime um We'll see

[00:33:44] Now if you wonder when what was that that was my Skype call a buddy of mine. He also does a podcast um good friend of mine so We'll do that. I'll jump on here there in a bit

[00:33:57] I think the acc. I expect them to really be interesting league nonetheless You look at the biggest stars You know, I think that's going to be your biggest stars. I think you're gonna have how

[00:34:12] Lawrence I think Ian book could run it run with it. The storyline is uh, noraday um We'll see how that goes Now they open their acc history the first ever acc schedule they opened september 12 against duke

[00:34:31] Now as much as I like duke's program and athletic program university. I don't seem noraday having much issues with duke But you know this year has been an odd year a lot of players opting out recovering from injuries so on and so forth Uh again like I mentioned

[00:34:49] Uh moments ago How they're going to do this is plain and simple They are going to have the top two teams Have the top two teams battle out for the acc championship What would imagine an automatic birth to the college football playoff which we'll get to here momentarily

[00:35:14] um We'll go from there Like I said this year this year we're gonna have to as college football fans We're gonna have to really really really really deal with a lot Uh, I expect louisville To make a marked improvement

[00:35:32] I think this year of course with scott staterfield's debut I expect big things after a two and ten in 2018 last year going to eight and five I expect louisville to maybe contest

[00:35:45] For the top five spots in the acc. I don't really expect them to get in that top two Two range For louisville for the state, I don't see For the state's gonna be an interesting team nonetheless

[00:36:04] With the fact that um, I think adder fuller has got a lot of players that has potential Um, especially on the on The defensive side of the ball giving up 27.8 Just a year ago You got um

[00:36:22] I would imagine james black man would be my imagine the front runner for center position You got a lot of all younger offense alignment A foreign national transfer davonti love taylor i think is going to continue So we'll see how florida state goes jim um

[00:36:43] novell i think it's going to do a great job just this year i don't think it's going to go now We're talking about wake fours first time in program history that adima dinkins have played in four straight ball games I think coach causton's

[00:36:56] squad is going to extend it With jamie newman transferring to george of the quarterback I think sim hartman's going to take over once again And of course you can't talk about wake fours without mentioning their top target um, sage surrette the

[00:37:13] Top target over a thousand yards just a year ago in nine games So I think wake fours. I think makes a push for the ball game. I think nc state If they can turn away from injuries and roster turnover There'll be fun There'll be fun. Um

[00:37:46] Had if the 2020 season not been the way that we're looking at Syracuse Uh 2018 going 10 and 3. I thought they were in the program in the move They had a step back Last year going five and seven coach debars

[00:38:04] I think he's going to continue with his two new often coordinators Uh, coach gibber on the offensive side. Tony whiteland defensive side I think they're gonna get help get that program back on track um, they do have only nine starters back for this year

[00:38:19] And syracuse don't forget ranked one of the acc's top offensively The offensive is the offenses in 2018 There we go. Definitely a step back a year ago. So we look at syracuse. I expect them to To make some noise. I still think

[00:38:39] Probably middle to the lower of the pack boston college, uh coach half Lee former all-hoyal state defensive coordinator takes over now at the helm Um with I think the limited offense off season tough crossover schedule with vijayan tech Um north carolina I think it's gonna be two

[00:39:04] Two games. I think they can easily They could win they could lose it's going to be a challenge now you get um Notre Dame's transfer feel i'm on butcher's last name Jerkovic, I believe is how you say it if not. I apologize if you're listening out there

[00:39:24] He was granted a 20 20 waiver uh for 2020 so They're gonna battle out for the under center. He again at Notre Dame 48.4 9 touchdowns two int's so he can battle out For the uh

[00:39:43] To be the starting quarterback and we'll go from there north carolina is going to be the interesting one You got mac brown. He returns um His return back to chapel hill it was off to a fast start last year going seven six

[00:39:57] You got all six uh games that he lost by a touchdown or less You got same how I think it could be a dark horse in the heisman He's poised. I think they even have a better year as a sophomore

[00:40:10] You get standout receivers the mai brown das nu some Back they're not going to have issues at all scoring. I think um, you get michael carter back at the at the running back position um So you got going from there now defensive side of the ball giving up 34.5

[00:40:33] points in 2018 Defense improved last year giving up only 23 close to 24 points a game last year Coach batman, I think has a few holes up front. He's got a feel Uh, I think the linebacker and the secondary units. I think are going to be pretty strong this year

[00:40:49] they do have Luckily this year now with everything going on, they don't have to play center floor They don't have to play alburn. They still get ridging the tech pittsburgh's always poised for an upset so

[00:41:03] I think north carolina could be in the mix for that one two spot In the acc I think another team um That that controls their own destiny so to speak is is regina tech regina tech was a

[00:41:20] Definitely start off the season two and two. They won six of their last nine games All three defeats was by six points or nine points or less Coach one tays team. I think's going to push north carolina To the top I think that can make that

[00:41:37] Two three ranking range maybe getting that top two I think uh, if you look at it Excuse me the rival chance for running back Um, um, Herbert from kansas to running back You get black cheer from ruckers if I don't know if he's won his way or not

[00:41:56] But if he had if he has you have him Should help with the one two punch and the running back position You get a team that only averaged 37 37 3.7 yards a carry in last year's conference games

[00:42:12] Often to line should be good, uh, of course ranking preseason wise top in the acc Coach hamilton on the defensive side comes in of course. He has uh humongous humongous shoes to fill Um after replacing long time coach for uh, brother roster so

[00:42:34] The girl news they inherit a group with nine starters Back defensive wise they should be fine However, um Caleb farley. I believe opted out The standout corner for this year going to miami Co getting Dereke king. We all know him from houston. You get the offensive

[00:43:00] Tackle jared worms also from houston. You got quincy rush from temple and kicker Um, josebro. Like gals You got all in key positions. I expect to make humongous help for miami

[00:43:15] Miami's one of his teams. I think that if they can get offensively wise. I think if king can do what he does Uh, well, he did at houston

[00:43:25] Defensive wise they should have no issues. There wasn't an issue last year. I don't expect it to be again this year And we'll go from there. So I think miami could contest at least in the top six If not top

[00:43:39] Probably six. I think would be best to say Pittsburgh young team To say at least swing games. You got florida state north Carolina miami All on the road huge games they can win at least, you know, Pittsburgh's always poised to win

[00:43:55] One upset and if they get that one upset that could be it Otherwise, I think pittsburgh could do pretty well Virginia thinks are gonna have a little setback. Of course defending, uh, coastal champions from just a year ago

[00:44:11] The reason why, you know, coach minnehull has done a wonderful job. He did a wonderful job at byu You got um A strong a strong culture he's building at virginia, of course his track record like I mentioned that byu Is good, uh, don't expect a humongous drop off

[00:44:30] Of course losing brice perkins at the quarterback position You got bringing bringing arm strong and um What's the kid from mississippi state? Uh, keontae thompson. I think are going to be um battling out to win that position at the quarterback And so we'll see

[00:44:52] um, virginia thinks going to be Probably a team that can make seven wins I don't know. I don't haven't seen the conference schedule Of course as we all know they're going strictly non-conference schedule. I mean conference schedule only

[00:45:07] You got virginia defense is gonna be the strength of this year's nine of nine Starters are back from a team that only allowed 27.1 points to give me your go Uh, you got uh on the all this Linebacker positions. You got charles noden. No, no at taylor

[00:45:22] I think there's gonna be help out quite a bit And of course And Aaron fumari is going to be the upfront anchor Come on um Virginia, of course, I believe as far as I know they open up with climson

[00:45:46] Uh duke duke's gonna be interesting. I like duke and what coach uh david cutcliffe has done at the duke program for quite a bit You have climson's quarterback chase brice. I think he's gonna provide a humongous start spark

[00:46:01] To an offense that only matters 25 points a game a year ago You got uh deon jackson back at the running back position You got no aggray back at the tied in position. You got four starters back on the offensive line, which is huge for uh for chase brice

[00:46:16] I expect offensive wise they could they could make a Jump defensively You got six starters back And improvement I think has to be expected For a team that averaged 29 posted 30 points a game a year ago However, however They posted in minus 11 turnover marching just a year ago Yes 11

[00:46:44] So There you go. I think if overall I think if brice provides a spark for the offense I think six wins is Is expected. I think that's reality. That's doable And um, you never know You never know where it may go from there

[00:47:01] Uh, george attack the yellow jackets You're under now second year coach uh year head coach, uh Collins They he's got him on the right track. He's recruiting well Uh year two. I still expect a rebuilding year They showed progress. I think towards mid to late 2019 season

[00:47:24] 17 starters to help navigate a brutal schedule Unfortunately, they were Not going to play in nor did they met first but now with nor did they come in As an ACC team They're gonna have to play I think that the transition

[00:47:44] Offensive wise, you know george attack has been known for Uh more of the option attack Now they're going to a more of a spread offense as we all know like oklahoma runs I'm maybe not that to agree but that's not gonna be easy. You can't just shift

[00:48:02] offensive schemes During offseason that really has been non-existent you have maybe Oh, I don't know. Maybe maybe I don't know if they've even got some spring ball practice in Before the cover 19 hit america Um, I don't know when they went back. I don't know when they started camp

[00:48:21] How much practice they got in so we'll see that's gonna be an interesting one uh, nonetheless Excuse me, nonetheless, um, I think they can They can score it's not going to be easy on the offensive side Especially for a team that only scored 16 points a game

[00:48:37] A year ago sometimes fewer than that And defensive wise they need to show some improvement Um, but I think they will David Kerr. I think it's gonna be Have a solid year at the linebacker position. I think corner trace willing. I think safety joan

[00:48:52] Thomas is gonna do well. You got floater transfers coming in so I think that allowed 32 point four five ish points a game a year ago. I think Um, I think it's gonna be fun on Danny So without further ado, Michael, who do you have winning the acc championship?

[00:49:08] Who do you have playing in the acc championship? Who's going to go to the playoff game because now we all know that when you lose two of the top of the power five conferences Now you're definitely guaranteed that a team Is going to make it

[00:49:22] out of a acc team. I think Clemson I don't see Clemson having any issues When you when there are a team that has the best defensive line A team that has the best quarterback in my opinion A team that has the best running back position

[00:49:37] If not arguably the best defense in In the acc, I mean you can argue Virginia Tech if you want Offensive wise you can argue that North Carolina may have the better receiving You can argue maybe Louisville's kind of in that mix Clemson, of course

[00:49:53] In that mix and receivers accy wise Clemson top to bottom Overall, I think they're gonna be fine. I don't see Clemson having any issues unless something Happens I mean, maybe a Trevor Lawrence injury He's out for the season. Maybe another injury to a degree

[00:50:16] Other than that, you know other than that or the cova 19 outbreak hits Clemson hard Other than that, I think Clemson takes care of business Uh, I still like there. I still like Notre Dame's chances in the acc. I think Clemson takes care of Notre Dame twice

[00:50:32] Um, I believe they go to south bend but In the meantime, um, I think Clemson takes care of the acc And uh, they make it to the College football playoff You got the acc preseason awards postseason awards. However, no luck as

[00:50:54] Offensive player to your my opinion hands down It's going to be Trevor Lawrence at the court at the quarterback out of Clemson My favorite to win the Heisman my favorite to want to likely go the number one overall pick and next year's draft Let's be honest

[00:51:08] He's that he's that good defensive player of the year. I really really really really really love Marvin Wilson the defense alignment from florida stay. I think he takes care of business to share Mac brown is my heads on favorite to win the coach of the year award

[00:51:21] Coach in the hot seat. I hate talking about the hot seats because unfortunately It's a business but at the same time It is a business and college football in my opinion. If not getting close. It's getting there Going to be if not passing NFL here shortly

[00:51:38] Matt is uh, Matt Brown. I got no given him the uh The head coach and the word now he's in the hot seat. It's Dave Durand north Carolina state I think he's had a many opportunities to take this program running with it

[00:51:50] He's had some good years, but I think this is make or break Top freshman donovan green. I really love this kid coming out of Wake Forest I expect big things for his career Uh newcomer acc newcomer

[00:52:04] Deara king, let's be honest that you can play. I watched him at oklahoma when he used to play at oklahoma a year ago Last year. I think he'll do well At miami this year So we'll go with king sleeper team dark horse. However you want to call it

[00:52:20] I got florida state. I think florida state is going to be one of these teams that if they can get some breaks here and there They are going to Really be good

[00:52:31] What's the position to watch a lot of these positions you guys don't realize is make or break positions And we'll get to oklahoma's here in shortly, but I think florida state I think if the offensive line really helps out, I think florida state could make or run

[00:52:47] For that top two in the acc Best coordinator hired I like I really loved the tim beck offensive coordinator hire at north kylona state expect big humongous things From him hardest to evaluate miami. Let's just be honest miami

[00:53:02] Defensively they can be good defensively at times. They can be bad offensive wise with king coming with king coming in Again, you don't know how this is going to run so

[00:53:15] They're the most hardest one to evaluate the must see game is going to be clumps in north and noraday By far at noraday clumpson goes at noraday. It's now went from a non-conference to now a conference game That's going to be up in

[00:53:33] South bend that's going to be amazing And coach on the rise I mentioned it scott siderfield head coach of rule will Expect a good season and you never know he may be getting a big time job
