[00:00:12] Sykes, Sean, and Gus in this week's USA Character Clip.
[00:00:18] I am a psychic. We work for the Santa Barbara Police Department. We've solved over 47 cases.
[00:00:24] You've seen The Mentalist, right?
[00:00:25] Yes.
[00:00:26] It's like that.
[00:00:27] Except that guy's a fake.
[00:00:28] Right. If I was a fake psychic, it would be eerily similar.
[00:00:31] Exactly the same.
[00:00:32] A virtual carbon copy.
[00:00:34] An all-new season of Psych premieres Friday, August 7th at 10th.
[00:00:37] Only on USA. Characters welcome.
[00:00:46] We mixed.
[00:00:47] We loaded it.
[00:00:50] We edited it.
[00:00:53] Sometimes we get so deep into conversation that we have separate segments worthy of their own place in the sun.
[00:01:07] Here is a reshuffled mini-episode.
[00:01:24] So, Jamie, you've been going through various sitcoms with your daughter.
[00:01:28] And she's a great wingman.
[00:01:31] Thank you.
[00:01:32] I love how you guys tease each other with trivia.
[00:01:34] And it's like, how do you know this much?
[00:01:37] My head is full of useless information.
[00:01:39] This is not on IMDb, even.
[00:01:42] No, we started it episode one, season one, and just binge the whole thing.
[00:01:47] She, my wife, and me.
[00:01:50] And just love the show.
[00:01:53] I do agree when you're talking about season one, how it kind of...
[00:01:56] But there are a couple of good episodes in there.
[00:02:00] It was just kind of sending out the blueprint rather than Billerina the last.
[00:02:04] But once they hit that stride, man, there's just no going back.
[00:02:07] Yeah.
[00:02:08] Those final seasons were just chef's kiss.
[00:02:12] Totally.
[00:02:14] Yeah.
[00:02:14] So we love it.
[00:02:15] We did a whole episode about it.
[00:02:16] We did our favorite episodes.
[00:02:17] Yes, you did.
[00:02:18] That was a lot of fun.
[00:02:20] And she went hard.
[00:02:22] She went hard on me, but really enjoyed it.
[00:02:25] So probably will throw some of those out there while we're talking.
[00:02:29] And we're also binging Supernatural now.
[00:02:32] Yes, you are.
[00:02:33] It was very...
[00:02:34] It's a marathon.
[00:02:34] Yeah.
[00:02:36] And another divisive show where you're like, everyone loves this season.
[00:02:39] I can't stand this season.
[00:02:41] Are there enough episodes for you?
[00:02:43] No.
[00:02:45] Jesus.
[00:02:47] Oh.
[00:02:48] But man, when Kane came on and he saw that beautiful gray hair of Timothy Ombudsman, I'm like,
[00:02:57] holy crap, it's Lassie.
[00:02:59] Yeah.
[00:02:59] Oh, my God.
[00:03:01] I love Kurt Fuller in there, though, too.
[00:03:03] Yes.
[00:03:04] I can't remember what he played, what angel, but he was great.
[00:03:06] I forget who he played, too.
[00:03:08] But yeah, he was on there for a bit.
[00:03:09] Uriel, maybe?
[00:03:10] I'll just never forget when Omensen, who plays Lassie, was doing the wrap-up episode of Ease the Soup.
[00:03:17] No.
[00:03:18] And Joel McHell was being an asshole to him going, all right, Ola Font.
[00:03:22] Oh, I mean, Omensen, get over here.
[00:03:24] They're doing a phone bank.
[00:03:25] Yeah, let's call him Ombudsman.
[00:03:26] I think it's like, I don't know, political thing, whatever.
[00:03:30] Yeah.
[00:03:31] Oh, yeah.
[00:03:31] Yeah.
[00:03:31] He gets it all the time.
[00:03:33] Yeah.
[00:03:35] The biggest reason why there's psych movies in there, it's taken so long for community movies,
[00:03:41] just because I think the psych actors, and it saddens me that this is the case, because
[00:03:47] it's because I love these actors, but they didn't get big after the show, versus I think
[00:03:52] all of the actors from community got big and got busy.
[00:03:57] That's a good point.
[00:03:57] Well, James Roderick Rodriguez went, and he was on that Million...
[00:04:02] That was such a great finale.
[00:04:03] A million little pieces or whatever the fuck that show was.
[00:04:07] A million little things, yes.
[00:04:08] Yeah, but that was...
[00:04:09] I mean, that was on for way too long.
[00:04:12] Well, Dulé Hill's got the wonder years as well.
[00:04:13] He had network TV money.
[00:04:14] Yeah, Dulé Hill was on the...
[00:04:15] It was five epic seasons for me, but it's all done, and that's actually a good crossover,
[00:04:21] because he brought the guy who played Maggie on that onto the second psych movie.
[00:04:25] So that was a little crossover, but I think that was a perfect example of a...
[00:04:30] Kind of like with Spielberg.
[00:04:31] He wanted to be serious, and not all his fans were keen on seeing him be serious right away.
[00:04:36] Yeah.
[00:04:37] It's tough to be a Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Williams type.
[00:04:43] I forgot USA Network existed.
[00:04:45] Yeah.
[00:04:47] It's so funny, Siri.
[00:04:48] But characters are welcome there.
[00:04:52] I loved how Omenson, when he first got cast,
[00:04:54] he wasn't sure the show was going to take off.
[00:04:56] He's like, USA, that's the place where my grandma watches reruns of Silk Stockings.
[00:05:01] Is this really going to last?
[00:05:03] I actually came to the show, though.
[00:05:04] Were they still rerunning Silk Stockings in 2006?
[00:05:07] Oh, I don't know.
[00:05:08] I don't think so, but either way...
[00:05:10] They might have been, but I'm more interested in hearing the story of how his grandma got into Silk Stockings in the first place.
[00:05:15] She's just a big Rob Astey's fan, you know?
[00:05:17] Oh, okay.
[00:05:18] It was the same kind of deal.
[00:05:20] Like, she was a mystery guy, and so she would always be like,
[00:05:23] Kimmy, you're a good actor.
[00:05:24] I watch your diagnosis murder episode every time it's on.
[00:05:27] He's like, thanks, Grandma.
[00:05:30] Kristen Nelson apparently has been in a few other movies outside of The Fugitive with Jane Lynch,
[00:05:34] so I think that's why she had her cast as her sister cop.
[00:05:38] All the guest spots of people from...
[00:05:40] I mean, I can't think of his name, who played Cameron in Ferris Bueller.
[00:05:44] Alan Ruck.
[00:05:45] Alan Ruck, yeah.
[00:05:46] He comes in there, and Ralph Macchio.
[00:05:48] He is ready to play.
[00:05:50] He's one of those other actors where he can play it straight, and it works for the comedy, and vice versa.
[00:05:54] He can go all over the top, and it works.
[00:05:56] But I think it also helps that everyone loved working with each other.
[00:06:00] They weren't sure the first year, but they only had one or two guest stars who were cranky,
[00:06:05] and were like, sorry, my agent forced me into this.
[00:06:08] What the hell is this show?
[00:06:09] But everyone got it.
[00:06:11] And there must be just something about just working just cheaper in Canada.
[00:06:16] It's not just the tax cuts.
[00:06:17] Everyone gets in and then flies back home after the weekend.
[00:06:20] They seem to have fun, and that's a major plus for the show.
[00:06:23] You can tell that they're all just having fun making the show.
[00:06:26] Dan Gia, who was Richard Dean Anderson's stunt double and the coordinator on Stargate,
[00:06:31] was working as the stunt department on this show,
[00:06:33] and you see him pop up every once in a while as a dead guy or something.
[00:06:37] And I joked with him a few times on Facebook, and he was just like,
[00:06:41] oh, that episode.
[00:06:43] You have no idea how much fun that was to make.
[00:06:46] Well, and you can get that right away with James and Dulé.
[00:06:50] Their chemistry together is what drives the show.
[00:06:53] For sure.
[00:06:54] You can tell how much they like making the show together.
[00:06:57] And that kind of energy will spread around,
[00:07:00] and you won't get guest stars that don't want to be there too often.
[00:07:06] Absolutely.
[00:07:06] Especially once you find your footing.
[00:07:08] Are there stories there?
[00:07:10] Are there guest stars that were...
[00:07:11] They didn't name any, but they said there was like two,
[00:07:14] and they weren't trying to be an asshole.
[00:07:16] They were just like...
[00:07:17] If they were, they would have named them.
[00:07:20] I mean, nothing against them, but I could assume George Takei in season one
[00:07:24] was probably like, what the hell is this?
[00:07:26] I don't get it.
[00:07:27] I mean, he's done anything.
[00:07:29] It was more just like...
[00:07:30] Yeah, I mean, he's been party down to, you know,
[00:07:32] like I think he has a sense of humor about things, George Takei.
[00:07:34] I think he would have a sense of humor.
[00:07:36] My guess, I have a theory who it probably was.
[00:07:39] If I were to guess, my guess would be Kevin Sorbo.
[00:07:43] But it's just being...
[00:07:45] I don't know why you would guess that.
[00:07:47] You know what's so funny?
[00:07:49] It's weird, but...
[00:07:50] My co-host John actually saw him at a convention,
[00:07:53] unfortunately in the 2010s,
[00:07:54] and he said he actually enjoyed doing the Psych episode.
[00:07:57] So that's what's weird too.
[00:07:58] He might have enjoyed it.
[00:07:59] I think that was before he...
[00:08:00] I don't doubt that he'd enjoy it.
[00:08:01] I know he was about to lose his marbles,
[00:08:03] but I think that was before his head imploded and said,
[00:08:06] how about I piss everyone off who's not me?
[00:08:08] You know?
[00:08:09] So I'm thinking maybe one of those other serious character actors,
[00:08:13] maybe, or something that wasn't getting it
[00:08:15] or wasn't given a proper tutorial as to what the fuck's going on.
[00:08:20] Well, and if the show hasn't aired,
[00:08:21] you don't have anything to...
[00:08:23] Like, you don't have a frame of reference.
[00:08:25] Absolutely.
[00:08:25] You can't watch an episode to see what the tone of the show is.
[00:08:28] Unfortunately, many actors, even then,
[00:08:30] they weren't watching their own movies.
[00:08:32] Sure.
[00:08:32] It was always fan mail.
[00:08:34] Oh, okay.
[00:08:35] I'll go.
[00:08:36] And unless you do conventions, you really don't know.
[00:08:40] My first thought, though I don't...
[00:08:43] I love this actor, so I hope this isn't the case,
[00:08:46] but as Sully had me...
[00:08:54] said we were going to be doing,
[00:08:56] we'd be talking about the Christmas episodes.
[00:08:58] Yes.
[00:08:59] Uh-oh.
[00:09:00] Gus's dad was played by Ernie Hudson in the first one,
[00:09:04] but he's not in the second one.
[00:09:06] I kind of wonder maybe something happened
[00:09:08] why he wasn't brought back to the second one.
[00:09:12] I would guess he just wasn't available.
[00:09:14] Yeah, that was my guess.
[00:09:16] And plus, part of the joke was, you know,
[00:09:18] having a famous TV actor play his new dad every time.
[00:09:22] You know, there was John Amos and there was...
[00:09:25] I always forget who's the third one.
[00:09:26] John Amos was his uncle.
[00:09:27] Well, uncle, yeah.
[00:09:27] John Amos, yes.
[00:09:28] So who was it?
[00:09:29] Keith David played his dad.
[00:09:30] Keith David, yes.
[00:09:31] That was...
[00:09:32] And Felicia Rashad was the mom.
[00:09:35] Yes, but she was his mom throughout, correct?
[00:09:37] Right, right.
[00:09:38] I don't think she was ever not his mom.
[00:09:40] Yeah.
[00:09:40] That added to the bud joke as well.
[00:09:42] Yes, absolutely.
[00:09:46] Dion Richmond, right?
[00:09:48] That was the actor.
[00:09:49] Yeah, that was the other one.
[00:09:49] Yep.
[00:09:50] There you go.
[00:09:51] Yep.
[00:09:51] Yeah.
[00:09:51] Well, and that's the fun too, is just...
[00:09:55] I love how we pick their brains apart and why they're so zany.
[00:10:00] And that just only adds to all the wacky stuff, you know?
[00:10:03] You know, Sybil Shepard is Sean's mom.
[00:10:06] And it's just like, your dad drives me crazy.
[00:10:12] Timothy Stroke happened right before production of the first movie, right?
[00:10:16] I think so.
[00:10:17] Because they had to...
[00:10:17] Unexpectedly, yeah.
[00:10:19] If I remember right, I read about it and they had to reshoot a bunch and restructure that
[00:10:23] whole movie around that.
[00:10:25] So they can crop him up, basically.
[00:10:27] Yeah, because he was supposed to be a bigger part of that movie.
[00:10:30] It was on his iPhone.
[00:10:31] That character.
[00:10:32] And then he couldn't be.
[00:10:33] The one scene he's in of the film where you see him on the phone, he shot that from his
[00:10:40] hospital bed.
[00:10:41] Yeah.
[00:10:42] Yeah.
[00:10:43] And they literally just put him in a suit and they're like, here we go.
[00:10:47] Action.
[00:10:51] But kudos to him for having to transform his life and be more spiritual.
[00:10:57] And I think it's just so funny how we see him play all these bad guys and grumps and he
[00:11:02] wanted to get out of that after a while.
[00:11:05] I loved him in Galavant.
[00:11:08] That was a very fun show, yeah.
[00:11:10] I love that show.
[00:11:11] Yeah.
[00:11:12] Very, very fun.
[00:11:13] Yep.
[00:11:14] Oh, and but to you guys' earlier points, yeah, it is kind of a shame that they'll always
[00:11:20] be character actors.
[00:11:22] You know, even Corbin Bernson was always kind of a character actor.
[00:11:24] That's the other irony.
[00:11:25] He was on like two hit shows.
[00:11:28] Yeah.
[00:11:28] This was a comeback for him.
[00:11:30] His soul will always be Dorn for me.
[00:11:32] Oh, yeah.
[00:11:33] No more of that Olay bullshit, Dorn.
[00:11:36] I don't know.
[00:11:38] It's Q2 for me.
[00:11:39] I mean, every time I see him.
[00:11:41] That's a, that's a real good impression.
[00:11:42] Oh, Q2.
[00:11:42] That's right.
[00:11:43] Yeah.
[00:11:44] It's my only one.
[00:11:45] That's the only impression I can do.
[00:11:47] You can only do one.
[00:11:48] Do it well.
[00:11:48] Yeah.
[00:11:53] I'm surprised there isn't more major leg references.
[00:11:56] Was he in LA Law or Silk Stock?
[00:11:58] LA Law.
[00:11:59] LA Law.
[00:11:59] LA Law.
[00:12:00] I'm surprised he wasn't on Silk Stock.
[00:12:02] That'd be funny.
[00:12:03] I mean, he might've been in an episode.
[00:12:07] It's so cool hearing how he got involved with it because he was just always one of those
[00:12:11] character actors.
[00:12:11] He could have had his agent take care of everything, but he always auditioned for everything.
[00:12:15] He wasn't going to let a good gig get turned down.
[00:12:20] And I think that's just it.
[00:12:21] Like you, he also warmed up to the show slowly where he's like, okay, it's not just I'm the
[00:12:27] straight man and warming up to my mischievous son.
[00:12:30] Like everybody's going to evolve instead of just be the asshole who yells at people.
[00:12:35] So I think that's just it.
[00:12:36] Like the writers were so good at structuring it and mixing and improv and then promising
[00:12:43] everybody changes are going to come instead of just do the same shit every day.
[00:12:47] Like, you know, absolutely.
[00:12:51] And kudos to Gus portrayer Dooley Hill also bringing out some of his actual dance moves.
[00:12:57] Oh yeah.
[00:12:58] Yeah.
[00:12:59] He can tap.
[00:13:00] He can tap.
[00:13:01] Yeah.
[00:13:03] Yeah.
[00:13:03] Here's Lassie is a fantastic episode.
[00:13:06] Like he's still semi in Gus mode on suits where he's able to do some other pop culture
[00:13:12] references, but I wish he could have gotten in.
[00:13:15] As close as they, any of the actors have gone on since then.
[00:13:19] Sean portrayer James Rode was actually, I think it's in season two of a million little
[00:13:24] things.
[00:13:24] He's at a talent show and he's at a magic trick show and he's like, Oh, those psychics,
[00:13:28] they're all fake.
[00:13:29] I'm like, that's amazing.
[00:13:30] You just dissed your famous role.
[00:13:34] That's funny.
[00:13:35] Well, I mean, I, I don't think he's dissing it.
[00:13:38] Well, he was very specifically a fake psychic.
[00:13:42] Right.
[00:13:43] But it was also just a little meta.
[00:13:45] Yeah.
[00:13:46] Yeah.
[00:13:46] I nod.
[00:13:46] Yeah.
[00:13:46] It's kind of like, like Nathan Fillion on castle reference to Firefly.
[00:13:51] Yeah.
[00:13:51] Yeah.
[00:13:51] You know, same vein there getting as many actors from the other show to guest star as
[00:13:56] he can.
[00:13:56] He's still doing it.
[00:13:59] I always do applaud anyone who can do that is do a unofficial reunion show.
[00:14:05] I know the scrubs guys would always do that.
[00:14:10] And James Rode, I don't remember what year it was, but he, he directed his own film,
[00:14:16] a horror film called Gravy.
[00:14:19] I saw that.
[00:14:20] Yeah.
[00:14:20] And, and they have, and he got to do a hill to join him for a cameo at the end of
[00:14:26] it.
[00:14:26] I think Jimmy Simpson was also in it.
[00:14:28] Yeah.
[00:14:29] Yeah.
[00:14:30] I can't believe we forgot to talk about him.
[00:14:33] So yeah, Jimmy Simpson.
[00:14:34] I know everyone else is going, Oh, the guy you've seen him on Westworld and 24 is always
[00:14:38] sunny.
[00:14:39] No.
[00:14:42] From psych.
[00:14:43] Probably.
[00:14:44] I was just watching old Lyle, the intern clips of his from Letterman.
[00:14:48] Oh my word.
[00:14:51] Yeah.
[00:14:52] Yeah.
[00:14:52] They're so good.
[00:14:54] He's man.
[00:14:56] What a, what a fucking level of comedy.
[00:14:59] Yeah.
[00:15:00] And I don't know if I saw him in Rose red.
[00:15:04] Oh, the mini series.
[00:15:07] Yeah.
[00:15:07] Yeah.
[00:15:08] What a throwback.
[00:15:09] Yeah.
[00:15:11] And I think he was just glad to be able to play a quirky role, but not necessarily be
[00:15:15] the guy who you hate for one.
[00:15:17] It was such a weird and slimy role.
[00:15:19] The way he played it.
[00:15:20] I loved it.
[00:15:21] He looks like a dirtied up Christian Slater kind of.
[00:15:25] He's really great in Perpetual Grace Limited too, which I don't know that anyone watched,
[00:15:32] but that show's fantastic and he's the lead.
[00:15:34] I don't know that one.
[00:15:35] I didn't see that one.
[00:15:36] It's the show that Steven Conrad did after Patriot.
[00:15:40] Okay.
[00:15:41] Oh, man, you're on it today.
[00:15:45] Oh yeah.
[00:15:45] Perpetual Grace.
[00:15:46] Patriot's one of my favorite shows ever.
[00:15:49] That's a good show.
[00:15:50] Okay.
[00:15:50] Yeah.
[00:15:50] I did see Perpetual Grace when that was on Epix, the Ben Kingsley show.
[00:15:53] Yeah.
[00:15:54] That was good.
[00:15:55] But no one saw it.
[00:15:56] I always remember Jimmy Simpson from a small role at the end of Zodiac.
[00:16:00] That's a movie that I absolutely love.
[00:16:03] And I saw that, I think, because that came out in 07 and I'm pretty sure I saw that before
[00:16:07] I really got into Psych.
[00:16:09] So then when he popped up on Psych, I'm like, I've seen this dude before.
[00:16:12] The David Fincher Club is invading our show.
[00:16:17] That's lovely.
[00:16:19] Like any good show, we only knew some of these guys.
[00:16:22] I think probably some of us might have known the last of the actor, Tim Omenson, from TV
[00:16:27] movies like Luck of the Irish, that old Disney Channel movie where you play a leprechaun.
[00:16:31] Or the Frasier episode where he's the director of the commercial.
[00:16:35] Oh, right.
[00:16:36] He had some brief return roles.
[00:16:38] I knew Dulé Hill from West Wing.
[00:16:40] Sure.
[00:16:41] Isn't it amazing how many of his West Wing stars he got on here every once in a while?
[00:16:47] And he made a couple of shout outs, too.
[00:16:49] I think when he first sees...
[00:16:52] Oh, God, I can't remember who it was, but he calls him Papa.
[00:16:56] Yeah, John Amos.
[00:16:57] And that was the...
[00:16:59] Yeah, that's it.
[00:17:00] That's it.
[00:17:00] Because he was the general guy on there.
[00:17:02] But I mean, that's actually how he got on Suits.
[00:17:04] A lot of those same West Wing people were doing the walk and talk on there.
[00:17:09] And it's also kind of funny how, much like that show, there was a Donna who everyone yells
[00:17:15] their name and she comes prancing in the door.
[00:17:17] So you do love seeing these inside jokes where basically these actors are at like the fifth
[00:17:21] stage of their career and they're just...
[00:17:23] They're doing a different twist on what they've been doing the last 10 years.
[00:17:28] Richard Schiff was in the second Psych movie.
[00:17:32] Oh, that's right!
[00:17:33] I don't remember if there was a West Wing joke thrown in there or not.
[00:17:37] I don't know if there was.
[00:17:38] I think the joke was...
[00:17:39] I can't imagine there wouldn't have been.
[00:17:41] I would have to see it again, but...
[00:17:42] Yeah, I'd have to watch it again.
[00:17:43] I was listening for it, but nothing jumped out at me.
[00:17:46] Because the only real scene they had together was when they were eating the ice chips and
[00:17:50] getting the hallucinogenic reactions.
[00:17:54] It was kind of like the This Is Us moment.
[00:17:56] I think it was more funny that, hey, those who've been watching too much TV, you're really
[00:17:59] going to get it.
[00:18:00] And the rest of the time, he's just playing a weird character.
[00:18:04] And it's a good compromise for them.
[00:18:06] You know, they can pursue all the TV shows they want to guest star or be a part of and
[00:18:11] just be one month in Vancouver and do the movie appearance, whatever they've been slated
[00:18:18] to do.
[00:18:18] And it works out for everybody.
[00:18:20] They don't exhaust their character, so to speak.
[00:18:23] And it helps that...
[00:18:24] What's Maggie Lawson doing nowadays?
[00:18:26] I mean, she...
[00:18:26] She's been doing a bunch of different sitcoms.
[00:18:28] Committed to anything?
[00:18:29] What did she do recently that I know I saw?
[00:18:32] Pretty sure she did a sitcom with Jason Briggs from American Pie.
[00:18:37] That's what it was, yeah.
[00:18:39] And she had done the Lethal Weapon show where she was like the psychiatrist, I think.
[00:18:42] Oh, right.
[00:18:43] Wasn't very good.
[00:18:44] But I...
[00:18:45] There was a great joke in one of the movies, though, where he says something like, you
[00:18:49] know, Jules would never be in a Hallmark movie.
[00:18:55] Actually, my favorite role that she's done outside of this is probably that one where
[00:18:58] she plays the psychotic doctor on that one Justified episode.
[00:19:02] Oh, that's such a good episode.
[00:19:04] It's already an atypical episode with the way it's edited, staged, mixed.
[00:19:09] And you're just like, oh, my Lord.
[00:19:12] What's going on?
[00:19:14] And out of her, you know, she...
[00:19:16] She's the one with the doll face.
[00:19:18] You don't expect it.
[00:19:18] Just be drilling people open.
[00:19:20] It's like, Jesus.
[00:19:23] Outmatched, by the way, was with Jason Biggs.
[00:19:25] That's what it was, yeah.
[00:19:26] And I think it was like a one-season thing.
[00:19:28] But, you know, kudos to him.
[00:19:30] Yeah, 10 episodes made it 10 episodes.
[00:19:34] That was in 2020.
[00:19:35] That one might have been a victim of COVID, too, so...
[00:19:37] Probably.
[00:19:38] And now she's hosting the Psych Podcast.
[00:19:39] So I hope she finds something else fun to do.
[00:19:42] I mean, the rest of them are almost always pretty busy.
[00:19:45] I see Karen in almost every other TV show.
[00:19:48] And she actually was on a West Wing episode playing the president's doctor.
[00:19:53] Oh, really?
[00:19:54] That was before she was known.
[00:19:56] Just a coincidence.
[00:19:58] But, yeah, I mean, kudos to all of them.
[00:20:00] Just, like, it's the show that keeps on giving.
[00:20:04] And people actually want to see him do something else as well as do more without risking just being like, oh, stop already.
[00:20:12] You know?
[00:20:13] It's not funny anymore.
[00:20:14] Yeah, but doing it right, like they've been doing.
[00:20:16] Yeah, totally.
[00:20:16] We'll return after these messages.
[00:20:25] Hey, it's Brent Pope, the host of Brentfist with Brent Pope.

[00:20:58] Hi, I'm James Gavsey, and on the Who Would Win Show, me and my co-host, Ray, ignore anything important happening in the outside world
[00:21:04] and debate fictional battles between characters from comics, movies, and video games.
[00:21:08] We got a new show every week, and almost always am I the winner.
[00:21:12] Yeah, not true, Ray.
[00:21:13] In the past, we've discussed such matches as Captain America vs. Darth Vader, Solid Snake vs. the Iron Giant,
[00:21:21] classic matchups like Robocop vs. Terminator, and even the Muppets vs. Sesame Street.
[00:21:26] That one was crazy.
