Transformers Vs. The Terminator Comic Book Review (with Oreo Brewer)

Oreo Brewer returns to discuss the delightful fan service that is the TRANSFORMERS VS. THE TERMINATOR comic book series from IDW and Dark Horse Comics.

How does the comic handle both the backstory and the off-color wit acknowledging this zany scenario?

Do both worlds actually get equal time on the page?

What are some of the best one-liners in this pop culture experiment?

And more praise for a premise that shouldn't work this brilliantly!

[00:00:56] So tonight, we are talking about Transformers vs. The Terminator. That's right.

[00:01:06] It's a good crossover.

[00:01:09] On paper, it sounds dorky, and yet I was loving reading this just because the illustrators showed, to Oreo's point, behind the scenes, you know, artwork, but they...

[00:01:23] It's just so tongue-in-cheek. Like, I'm not saying it's Deadpool-level, but I mean, they are making fun of why does this robot sound like a German barking orders.

[00:01:32] I love how... It's very sarcastic, like an actual, like, Transformers fan.

[00:01:39] So I think it'll, you know, it hits the nail on the head for them, but I love how it also just goes all other kinds of ways.

[00:01:50] And I love how Sarah Connor gets roped in the action. This is before she's even seen any of these killer bots, and she's like,

[00:01:57] Oh, well, I guess I'm not going back to my waitress job right now.

[00:02:01] It's just...

[00:02:02] It's just...

[00:02:03] It's just...

[00:02:03] It's so rich.

[00:02:04] It's so nutty, and...

[00:02:07] You know, for...

[00:02:08] The plot list, too.

[00:02:10] Oh, well, you gotta...

[00:02:11] Yeah, so spoiler, spoiler, spoiler.

[00:02:14] Spoiler, spoiler.

[00:02:16] Fuck you.

[00:02:17] Spoilers.

[00:02:18] Um...

[00:02:18] Yeah, so I really dug how Skywatch,

[00:02:24] you know, the corporation that the Transformers try to battle against.

[00:02:30] Yeah.

[00:02:30] They were connected to Cyberdyne before it, and they helped launch the whole Skynet takeover.

[00:02:36] That was perfect.

[00:02:38] I thought, perfect, you know, because why all...

[00:02:41] You know, Megatron's going to find a reason to go and, you know, send a message to Earth that he's here to, you know, attack various ones.

[00:02:48] So, yeah, how perfect it is that people...

[00:02:51] Skywatch is, you know, in the middle of, like...

[00:02:54] This is basically like a third-party contractor with the development of Cyberdyne products.

[00:03:00] And meanwhile, Cyberdyne's doing a tour for visitors and tourists.

[00:03:03] I'm like, see, that's awesome.

[00:03:04] It's give them a reason to have a hostage takeover.

[00:03:07] Don't just happen to be at any random mountain resort, you know?

[00:03:10] Yeah.

[00:03:11] Don't.

[00:03:13] And just the battles were awesome and easy to follow.

[00:03:17] I loved how a lot of it, when people are jumping midair, they're jumping onto literally the other side of the page.

[00:03:24] So awesome to whoever stenciled, outlined, and colored all of that.

[00:03:30] That was awesome.

[00:03:32] I love how RT-800 is having second thoughts and everything all the time.

[00:03:38] You never know if he's going to turn or not.

[00:03:40] And he stills, you know...

[00:03:43] Well, he doesn't still.

[00:03:44] He is given one of the Transformer weapons.

[00:03:47] And he's here because, you know, Skynet views, you know, the Autobots as a Fred.

[00:03:54] And he's come in to a whole different scenario of it.

[00:03:56] And he's like, oh, well, technically, Megatron, you know, the...

[00:04:02] Yeah.

[00:04:03] And, you know, his whole faction is going to decimate the Earth and Fred and Mankind.

[00:04:12] So, yeah.

[00:04:15] Those Decepticons, they are the real Fred.

[00:04:17] And I love how they try to turn him against it.

[00:04:20] I forget who it is.

[00:04:21] I think it's Starscream.

[00:04:22] Fucks with him a bunch.

[00:04:23] And then there's a bunch of others.

[00:04:24] And it's just...

[00:04:26] The dialogue, though, is perfect.

[00:04:27] So, anyone who wants every single bot accounted for, don't say they didn't hit some kind of a home run.

[00:04:36] Like, they give as much screen time as they can while moving the story along.

[00:04:39] And it's not thin.

[00:04:41] It really is very interactive.

[00:04:44] I would watch it as a literal movie by Hasbro and Lionsgate.

[00:04:48] And then I would also watch it as a...

[00:04:50] In fact, technically Paramount owns it right now.

[00:04:53] So, technically, if they wanted to, they could.

[00:04:56] But I hear that's not the case.

[00:04:58] They got an anime planned, actually, I think, for either Paramount or HBO Max.

[00:05:02] Anyway, that doesn't matter.

[00:05:04] We're talking about why this comic rules.

[00:05:06] But I've talked too long.

[00:05:09] So, did you see this when this came out?

[00:05:10] Or did you read it in more recent years like me?

[00:05:14] I read Transformers Terminator a few years ago.

[00:05:21] Nice.

[00:05:22] Yeah, because I was looking for Comics 3 at the library.

[00:05:26] Found it and was like, cool.

[00:05:28] So, grabbed it up.

[00:05:32] I enjoyed it.

[00:05:33] Good shit.

[00:05:35] Yeah, I wasn't familiar with these authors.

[00:05:37] Had you read anything else by them?

[00:05:39] Let me see.

[00:05:43] Comics Terminator.

[00:05:44] Yes, guys.

[00:05:45] Sometimes we research while we're recording.

[00:05:47] But yeah, I had no idea it was a co-production between Dark Horse.

[00:05:50] But that makes better sense.

[00:05:51] I did see their logo.

[00:05:52] But I was mainly distracted by the IDW thing.

[00:05:56] Yeah, because Transformers is under IDW.

[00:05:59] That makes better sense.

[00:06:00] Okay, so.

[00:06:01] John Barber.

[00:06:03] David Marlott.

[00:06:04] And Tom Waltz.

[00:06:06] So, they are the main minds behind it.

[00:06:09] J. Kim Wood did the lettering.

[00:06:12] Penciling was done by Alex Milne.

[00:06:16] And Barber.

[00:06:16] Alex, I know he's cool.

[00:06:18] Oh, really?

[00:06:19] Is he on social media?

[00:06:20] Yeah, he's on...

[00:06:23] He's not insensitive like one of those other comic book decks you've come on.

[00:06:26] No.

[00:06:27] No, no.

[00:06:28] I'm not saying he is.

[00:06:29] I just find it funny.

[00:06:32] We always have a habit of running into him.

[00:06:34] Like, I accidentally insulted, for instance, one time at one of those ILM visual effects artists.

[00:06:41] Because I was just pretty much just saying, yeah, none of these Jurassic World movies are going to be good.

[00:06:45] And he's like, oh, geez, thanks, man.

[00:06:48] I'm like, I didn't know you're in the fucking chat.

[00:06:50] Fuck off.

[00:06:51] You are only worried about getting money for making crappy effects.

[00:06:56] Don't tell me.

[00:06:57] You should like the movie.

[00:06:59] It was like the one dude when Zack Snyder was in a chat.

[00:07:03] And this dude comes in.

[00:07:06] He just would not shut the fuck up about Charlie Hunnam as Green Arrow.

[00:07:10] And he kept asking and asking and asking and asking.

[00:07:13] And after, like, 15 minutes, Zack left the fucking chat because of him.

[00:07:20] I'm like, Jesus Christ, kid.

[00:07:23] But yeah, I know Alex.

[00:07:24] And why do they ask for rumors when they're just going to be told I can't answer?

[00:07:28] Because that's how every fan is.

[00:07:30] They're like, I need to know this.

[00:07:32] I need to know that.

[00:07:33] And it doesn't go anywhere.

[00:07:35] It's so dumb.

[00:07:37] It's like if it's a rumor, 100% it's not going to happen.

[00:07:40] And then they're always acting like, oh, so-and-so was rude to me.

[00:07:44] I'm like, he didn't tell you to fuck off.

[00:07:46] He told you to drop it.

[00:07:47] Big ass difference.

[00:07:48] I see people doing that whenever an actor says something out of line.

[00:07:51] And they're like, we'll see the co-stars or producers basically essentially shutting them up.

[00:07:57] I'm like, well, that's their job.

[00:07:59] They are not promoting the product.

[00:08:02] If you're my mascot and you're making a scene at the grocery store where you're supposed to sell insurance or tickets to see a ball game.

[00:08:10] Yeah, I'm going to call you out and say, shut the fuck up.

[00:08:14] Yeah, Alex is a good guy.

[00:08:16] He sells a lot of his art on Twitter now and then.

[00:08:19] Like, I forget his name.

[00:08:21] He used to totally form a Patreon.

[00:08:23] It's just, so this gets out of five stars, 5,000 stars.

[00:08:30] It's so crispy.

[00:08:31] I would frame it.

[00:08:34] So David Garcia Cruz was the colorist.

[00:08:38] The editors were Megan Brown, Riley Fowler, and Tom Waltz.

[00:08:43] Yeah, he's going to be a toxic guy.

[00:08:44] Hey, we made a good for something.

[00:08:46] Fuck you, dude.

[00:08:47] Oh, I read another one yesterday.

[00:08:49] The Witchblade Obaki Mono from 2002.

[00:08:55] Done by Fiona K. Avery, I think.

[00:09:02] Hmm.

[00:09:02] Yeah.

[00:09:04] Yeah.

[00:09:04] I swear to you, I will catch up on the Witchblade comics.

[00:09:07] I've been meaning to for a while.

[00:09:08] I was more familiar with the adaptation.

[00:09:10] Yeah, it's a spin-off comic, though.

[00:09:13] I like it, though.

[00:09:14] But it's aged really well for being 22 years old.

[00:09:17] Oh.

[00:09:19] Do you think this did pretty well, considering this came out in the middle of COVID?

[00:09:24] Yeah, definitely.

[00:09:26] Like, that's the thing.

[00:09:27] Everybody likes things.

[00:09:28] Timing sucks for everything, man.

[00:09:30] It goes back to the last decade, too.

[00:09:33] From March to September, it was four issues.

[00:09:36] Surprisingly, the overall rating is a 6.8, which, I'm sorry.

[00:09:39] Fuck you.

[00:09:41] It is more than just decent.

[00:09:43] A 6 out of 10 is going to be something...

[00:09:48] That would be Kill Human, the less Terminator Robocop thing.

[00:09:52] Again, that was good until the divisive ending, but it had good artwork, and it was an involving story for four issues.

[00:10:00] This, like, I would see an anime of this.

[00:10:02] I would see a cartoon of this.

[00:10:04] And it's set in 1984, so it's cool seeing them kind of catch the retro California kind of look.

[00:10:11] Well, then you'd like Transformers Back to the Future, too.

[00:10:14] That's why it worked even better.

[00:10:16] It's complementing their various chaotic adventures and how they're an 80s product.

[00:10:21] So it made sense to set it that way.

[00:10:26] The editor-in-chief of John Barber, who worked for IDW, he apparently said that it just...

[00:10:35] The visual terror of the first Terminator, it got his pulse running, and he worked on Transformers a lot.

[00:10:41] And he just...

[00:10:42] He had to...

[00:10:45] It was inevitable.

[00:10:48] Inevitable, yeah.

[00:10:49] So the Autobots represented here are RC, Bumblebee, Cosmos, Gears, Glith, Huffer, Jazz, Mirage, Optimus Prime, of course.

[00:11:00] Power Glide, Prowl, Ratchet, Sidesweep, Trail Breaker, Velocity, and Wheeljack.

[00:11:07] I was mainly following Wheeljack and Ratchet and definitely Jazz.

[00:11:11] And Bumblebee's the main one, of course, because isn't he always?

[00:11:16] Yeah.

[00:11:17] The Decepticons represented here, other than Megatron and Starscream, are Thundercracker, Soundwave, Skywarp, Shrapnel, Refractor, Ravage, and Kickback.

[00:11:29] So it is awesome seeing them...

[00:11:34] Bombshell.

[00:11:35] Bombshell especially.

[00:11:36] It is awesome seeing them get blown the fuck apart.

[00:11:39] It's like...

[00:11:41] You would like the infestation there, too.

[00:11:46] Which is Transformers, Star Trek, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

[00:11:53] Yeah, yeah.

[00:11:54] I've been meaning to read that IDW comic for a while.

[00:11:56] It was back in 2011.

[00:11:59] I've got lucky.

[00:12:00] I bought the Omnibus set, which is small.

[00:12:04] It's really small, which surprised me.

[00:12:06] It's as tall.

[00:12:07] It's a little bit taller than a Funko Pop box.

[00:12:10] People bash crossovers, but I love it.

[00:12:13] I love when people can just fuck around and just have fun.

[00:12:17] I mean, you've got the licenses for it also, you might as well.

[00:12:20] Mm-hmm.

[00:12:21] As opposed to we're doing it just for ratings.

[00:12:25] We've got five shows on the same network.

[00:12:27] Let's have them all cross over, even though the tones...

[00:12:31] Marvel.

[00:12:33] NCIS would do it, and it would suck.

[00:12:34] I would love the first two parts, and then the third part would be a total just nothing.

[00:12:39] You know, like, what a chicken shit way to end that.

[00:12:42] All that fun.

[00:12:43] I hope you don't even air it together when it syndicates.

[00:12:47] Um...

[00:12:47] We'll return after these messages.

[00:12:53] If you like small-town mystery, crazy news, and wild history, then the Florida Men on Florida Man podcast is for you.

[00:14:04] Check them out.

[00:14:13] I mean, pretty hard to ruin this.

[00:14:18] True.

[00:14:19] Yeah, it's very involving.

[00:14:21] I love how, again, you're not sure if the Terminator is going to betray them, but he's always...

[00:14:26] I always like how he's like,

[00:14:28] Rumi, Rumi, no.

[00:14:31] Blasting them in the air, and he's already decimating half his body.

[00:14:35] And it's cool to give them some kind of persona instead of them just continually trying to emulate, you know, redraw Arnold's look as he slowly, inevitably demolished.

[00:14:47] It would have been awesome had he reprogrammed, like, the T-1000 or something, but that would have been too much.

[00:14:52] It would have been too much.

[00:14:55] So I love how they just went straight into, yeah, no, here's what we're doing.

[00:15:02] That was my chainsaw bazooka machine gun.

[00:15:05] I killed the fucking father of the ding dong.

[00:15:08] Yeah, thank you.

[00:15:09] I know the coordinates.

[00:15:11] I will help you.

[00:15:12] I'm going to be your best friend.

[00:15:13] I'm going to be in the band.

[00:15:14] I'm going to be newly in singer of the band.

[00:15:15] I'm going to write lyrics for you.

[00:15:17] It's going to be tenacity with me.

[00:15:19] It's going to be the best.

[00:15:20] We're going to be the best.

[00:15:20] We're going to be our brothers.

[00:15:21] We're going to be like three masketeers.

[00:15:23] Yeah.

[00:15:25] No.

[00:15:26] I mean, a lot of that sounded good, but...

[00:15:28] Yeah, yeah.

[00:15:29] I don't know.

[00:15:31] I'm sorry to say it, Terminator.

[00:15:33] You're just coming on a little strong.

[00:15:35] Me and KG are a duo.

[00:15:36] We're not really used to this.

[00:15:38] Thanks.

[00:15:39] Thank you.

[00:15:39] Appreciate your help.

[00:15:40] For everything you've done.

[00:15:41] Thank you for the coordinates.

[00:15:43] This is where we part ways,

[00:15:45] but thank you for fucking everything you did.

[00:15:49] Yeah, man.

[00:15:50] It really is dynamite.

[00:15:52] It really is.

[00:15:54] That's why I always get hooked on IDW stuff

[00:15:56] more than Marvel or DC.

[00:15:59] Them and Image,

[00:16:00] they have kind of figured out how to just be nutty.

[00:16:03] I mean, they did one where they had both

[00:16:05] universes of Battlestar Galactica facing off.

[00:16:09] Yeah.

[00:16:11] And it was by Peter David,

[00:16:13] who's, you know,

[00:16:14] missed a lot with Marvel and Star Trek.

[00:16:17] But I love how they'll just...

[00:16:24] I think it's more than just the risk-taking

[00:16:25] and the coloring and...

[00:16:28] It's just a great opportunity

[00:16:30] because they're there

[00:16:32] and it's cheaper to do it in a comic

[00:16:34] versus trying to make a movie out of it.

[00:16:37] Mm-hmm.

[00:16:38] Because if you try to do a movie,

[00:16:40] it doesn't always pan out like it should.

[00:16:42] Correct.

[00:16:43] A movie...

[00:16:44] There's going to be too many cooks.

[00:16:45] There's going to be Stallones or Eddie Murphys

[00:16:48] who come in and are like,

[00:16:49] hey, can I, you know...

[00:16:51] That's why I'm, like,

[00:16:52] anxious for G.I.G.

[00:16:53] versus Transformers.

[00:16:54] But I'm also like,

[00:16:57] okay, if this actually pans the fuck out,

[00:17:01] it can't open the door

[00:17:02] for other crossover films to happen.

[00:17:06] Mm-hmm.

[00:17:06] But it's a very thin line

[00:17:09] and that all depends on whether or not

[00:17:10] it actually fucking works.

[00:17:17] Yeah.

[00:17:18] I don't know.

[00:17:18] Yeah, no, very much so

[00:17:20] because they lean so much into the hype

[00:17:24] to where you're like,

[00:17:25] I don't want to be disappointed again,

[00:17:28] so I'm not looking forward to it.

[00:17:31] Like, it's not the same

[00:17:33] as when it would happen in the 80s

[00:17:34] where someone did something

[00:17:35] that had never been done before on TV

[00:17:37] or in the 90s

[00:17:38] where they would take a risk

[00:17:41] and have a rapper or sports star

[00:17:43] or TV host, you know,

[00:17:46] do their own movie, you know.

[00:17:48] This is not like...

[00:17:50] And everyone went to see it

[00:17:51] even though it was poorly reviewed,

[00:17:53] you know.

[00:17:53] This is not...

[00:17:54] This is not like...

[00:17:55] It's like Space Jam.

[00:17:57] Space Jam.

[00:17:58] Space Jam is a good example

[00:17:59] Space Jam is pretty much the pinnacle

[00:18:00] and having seen it like 20 times,

[00:18:02] I am surprised I never wore

[00:18:04] that fucking VHS out.

[00:18:05] Like, I really am.

[00:18:07] Because everything else,

[00:18:07] we were having to adjust tracking

[00:18:09] or it got used

[00:18:10] and it's like somehow

[00:18:12] I never broke that damn clamshell VHS.

[00:18:17] Yeah, Space Jam is a perfect example

[00:18:19] for all server done right at the right time.

[00:18:22] It's a cool fight to the death

[00:18:23] and sports fans love it.

[00:18:26] Cartoon fans love it.

[00:18:27] And as a movie,

[00:18:30] it goes from point A to B

[00:18:31] so fast without...

[00:18:33] Yeah, there's like no break.

[00:18:35] Like, it took me years, dude,

[00:18:37] to notice the various references

[00:18:38] to Pulp Fiction and...

[00:18:42] They're so obvious too.

[00:18:43] That's the best part.

[00:18:45] That's why I faceball myself.

[00:18:47] I'm like, even if I didn't know,

[00:18:48] I shouldn't know.

[00:18:49] But yeah, I mean,

[00:18:50] it's literally almost...

[00:18:52] I love it when people do a Bloodsport

[00:18:54] or Running Man kind of scenario

[00:18:55] and then they put in basically all...

[00:18:58] They should do that just with a movie now

[00:19:00] and just get...

[00:19:02] They should do something better

[00:19:03] than the actual Expendables.

[00:19:04] Just get all your favorite personas

[00:19:05] and put them in a room together.

[00:19:07] Like, I think Jumanji movie sequels

[00:19:09] have kind of done something like that.

[00:19:10] Just get five likable geeky icons,

[00:19:14] add a few other comedians for the sequel

[00:19:16] and then just have them be in crazy mazes

[00:19:18] and don't be too kiddy

[00:19:21] and don't be too adult.

[00:19:23] Just that safe, easy-going PG-13 popcorn net.

[00:19:28] I hate PG-13.

[00:19:30] I'm sick of it.

[00:19:31] I like it when it's not like forced.

[00:19:35] Like, it's like...

[00:19:37] Marvel.

[00:19:38] Yeah.

[00:19:39] Be more like Born Identity

[00:19:41] or, you know,

[00:19:43] even the American versions of Taken

[00:19:45] and Transporter

[00:19:45] and, you know,

[00:19:47] all the James Bonds were just like,

[00:19:48] yeah, I can still show blood

[00:19:49] but not, you know, on my shirt.

[00:19:52] But it didn't get the R

[00:19:53] because we didn't focus on it too much

[00:19:55] in every scene, you know.

[00:19:56] Or you can be like Lord of the Rings

[00:19:58] where it's still brutal

[00:19:58] but because they're monsters

[00:20:00] and the blood's green or black,

[00:20:02] it didn't get a, you know, R rating.

[00:20:05] Unless the blood had been red.

[00:20:07] And don't have it look fake, too.

[00:20:10] That's my main deal.

[00:20:11] Like, there are plenty of movies

[00:20:12] where there's gore in every minute

[00:20:13] but because it's so poorly shot or dark,

[00:20:16] it's not exciting or awesome.

[00:20:17] Evil Dead Rise.

[00:20:20] Ouch.

[00:20:22] I hated the remake, though.

[00:20:23] Fuck that 2020 movie.

[00:20:25] Literally, you watch that

[00:20:27] and then you watch Rise

[00:20:28] and it's just literally copy-paste.

[00:20:32] I like The Scissor Death

[00:20:33] but it's all good.

[00:20:36] There's plenty of bad movies out there, though,

[00:20:39] that the hype kills it

[00:20:41] to where I'm having to force myself

[00:20:43] to wait a year.

[00:20:44] And I hate that.

[00:20:45] I should be able to watch it now

[00:20:47] without any interference

[00:20:48] and tickets are just...

[00:20:50] God damn it, I hate the prices.

[00:20:52] I'm just like...

[00:20:55] That's why I say a kid price.

[00:20:57] Well, I'd try that, too.

[00:20:59] But it's still...

[00:20:59] It's gotta be

[00:21:00] $40, $50 outing

[00:21:02] to where...

[00:21:03] It's like...

[00:21:04] If the movie's not good...

[00:21:04] How much are you spending

[00:21:05] $40 or $50?

[00:21:06] Jesus Christ.

[00:21:08] These AMC theaters suck ass, dude.

[00:21:10] Oh, that's where you go.

[00:21:12] I go to RC

[00:21:14] which is...

[00:21:15] It's its own chain

[00:21:17] and they don't care

[00:21:19] what you pay for the tickets

[00:21:20] as long as they get the tickets.

[00:21:22] So I always pick kid price

[00:21:25] and it's used to...

[00:21:26] I try kid prices, too

[00:21:27] but there's gotta be

[00:21:27] at least one at all

[00:21:28] because of the movie

[00:21:29] we're going to do, so...

[00:21:30] Yeah.

[00:21:31] I'm sure they know.

[00:21:33] They just don't keep up with it.

[00:21:34] That's true.

[00:21:36] And...

[00:21:36] How much about prices?

[00:21:37] There's a workaround.

[00:21:38] You can save more

[00:21:39] if it's digital

[00:21:41] or...

[00:21:42] You can just...

[00:21:43] Comixology

[00:21:44] where they do the whole...

[00:21:46] Or just go to the library.

[00:21:48] That's the easiest way to do it.

[00:21:48] Or the library.

[00:21:49] That's just it.

[00:21:50] Yeah.

[00:21:50] You can always wait

[00:21:51] as long as you get to see it

[00:21:52] without interference.

[00:21:54] That's...

[00:21:54] That's why I always...

[00:21:55] I never buy issues anymore.

[00:21:57] I don't.

[00:21:57] I literally don't want to buy issues.

[00:22:00] Wait for it.

[00:22:00] I wait.

[00:22:01] Yeah, exactly.

[00:22:02] And that's like a month

[00:22:03] or so...

[00:22:04] That's a year wait.

[00:22:05] I don't mind that.

[00:22:06] I'm like, fuck it.

[00:22:07] I can wait a year.

[00:22:08] I don't give a shit.

[00:22:09] And then it comes out

[00:22:10] and it's like,

[00:22:11] oh, it's really worth the wait.

[00:22:14] I think the biggest arc

[00:22:16] that I killed

[00:22:16] the most...

[00:22:17] Biggest arcs I killed

[00:22:19] were on

[00:22:21] the original Civil War,

[00:22:24] House of M,

[00:22:29] Power Rangers run,

[00:22:31] volumes 1 through 15,

[00:22:34] plus Draken's arc

[00:22:36] by himself.

[00:22:38] Yeah, that was tiring.

[00:22:41] Holy shit.

[00:22:42] But it was so good.

[00:22:43] But it was so much

[00:22:44] to take in

[00:22:46] and my head was like...

[00:22:49] Seriously?

[00:22:51] Yeah, but it was fun.

[00:22:52] Like, shit.

[00:22:54] It's easy stuff.

[00:22:54] Kudos to Comixology

[00:22:55] and all those other apps

[00:22:56] for allowing basically

[00:22:58] the equivalent of a rental.

[00:23:00] And I just view it discounted.

[00:23:03] Yeah.

[00:23:04] And of course,

[00:23:04] I write everything out of order.

[00:23:06] So it's like,

[00:23:07] I remember this

[00:23:08] and then I have to go back.

[00:23:09] I remember someone...

[00:23:11] I used to know someone

[00:23:12] who would do that

[00:23:13] with TV shows.

[00:23:14] He would watch stuff

[00:23:15] like Supernatural

[00:23:15] and Reverse Order

[00:23:16] just based on...

[00:23:18] I'm like,

[00:23:18] that's got to be confusing.

[00:23:20] Yeah, that's a note.
