[00:01:11] Hello everybody. So before we get into the thick of it, we were having a brief discussion on how much we love the hell out of Edge of Tomorrow.

[00:02:08] I hadn't read the anime that was an adaptation of the book that that movie is based on, but I have now. And while it's not apparent in the episode, much like I figured, I knew it was going to be a hell of a fun time.

[00:02:21] You know, again, I knew the book was going to be very complex, intense. I just figured the manga, it just had all these wonderful Halo-like costume designs for the characters.

[00:02:37] And it's really very brilliantly animated on the paper that it's printed on.

[00:02:44] And I love how they're shouting all this typical military phrase, how the lives of 35 million people rest on these futuristic soldiers' shoulders.

[00:03:04] And it's just obviously clearly set in Japan, as they say. It's only a matter of days before the enemy crushes Tokyo.

[00:03:11] So that's really the only true change. But it's not made to be an international threat like in the movie.

[00:03:18] But yeah, no, it's a great read. All you need is kill. And yeah, check it out, especially if you can't get enough of the Emily Blunt Tom Cruise movie.

[00:03:33] And it's a crowd pleaser, much like that film. Now, enjoy the rest of the show.

[00:03:41] That's kind of why I was looking forward to that. I'm like, I'd seen Emily Blunt and that and a few other movies.

[00:03:46] I'm like, hey, yep. That movie's so good. It is so good.

[00:03:50] That would be dumb, fucking stupid title.

[00:03:53] Well, the original Blunt, which I have right here, all you need is kill.

[00:03:58] There's the original. I have it right in my bookshelf right here, which I bought that for Future War Stories.

[00:04:04] And I was like, and then they turned it into a movie. And yeah, that movie is so good.

[00:04:08] It really is. So how different is it from the book? I've been meaning to read that.

[00:04:14] Oh, it's been years since I read it.

[00:04:16] Oh my gosh, but I isn't that.

[00:04:17] Big mustache.

[00:04:27] That movie just needs the Gordy Weaver and Michael Biehn in it, and I would have been satisfied.
