[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_03]: We are talking Nigel Box, Bad Ben films.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_03]: This is a fucking crazy movie.

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_03]: So I heard a bunch of people just talking about these on different podcasts and I knew

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Installing what was up.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_03]: I was just like, okay I'll get around to it.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Just not now but yeah it is Bad Ben.

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_03]: It was bad dude.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_03]: It was bored during the COVID pandemic.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Decided how would I do my own 4 man's.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Imagine the Blair Witch project meets the room.

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly what this fucking thing is.

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not like he basically dicked around with a short film called The Night and Four Christmas in 2019.

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_03]: He did free episodes of a web series called Paranormal, Tom Riley, Paranormal and a Sigator.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_03]: But now he and 2016.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And then continuing on through COVID when he got bored with the rest of his movies, slight correction.

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Until 2020 he basically just said you know fuck it let me do all these movies using my various security monitors

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_03]: and make it look like it's haunted.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_03]: And basically he released it.

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_03]: This is back when it was on prime would let anyone fucking up along their movies,

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_03]: as long as it had subtitles in the right aspect ratio.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And so he kind of hit a big bad Ben was kind of a welcome trashy movie.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_03]: In 2016 and then he kept following it up.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_03]: He just kept I saw some of the other ones like the way back,

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_03]: better been but nine, which was easily the worst one.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Part seven, the haunted highway and then.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_03]: The Mandela effect it just man it got even worse as it went.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I got on and I think I saw part of the.

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Still in the road, but boy, howdy.

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_03]: It's pretty fucking shitty, but you're going to check it out because you want to just see someone just experiment with it.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Even with the amateur looking poster, you just can't help but just you can't look away from it.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Breaking last productions that indie studio ended up buying the series there's even a video game released.

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I had no idea what was I'm looking up it was apparently.

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, so.

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Which released it it show a.

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Website that hosts indie games.

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh man, so it just people just dug it because it was basically.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And you know, the head of much is a free 100 from again, you know, the guy was based in New Jersey and just filmed it on his cell phones and security cameras.

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And he then according to the Philadelphia inquire, the movie made him a pound 110,000 from streaming revenue.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Because it had been seen over a million times probably by him and his relatives.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I have no fucking idea, but yeah, now as they went on, it's not even fucking funny anymore.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It just gets very unbearable and it just gets to where you're just like this.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Then what the fuck is this dude doing and.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And it was just funny the first time because he just ran around suspecting everything losing his shit it was almost like.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_03]: They need to the Tourette sky and you've look at that's a YouTube thing.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_03]: It's even like some of those other just wacky commercials and internet mean guys who were big in the 2000s.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Part of the course, except a little too late for the party and the dude just kept going on and on and on.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Do I just like okay, it's not funny.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna be more times you're gonna watch of anyway if you just want to laugh, but be warned.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_03]: You know there's a reason they're streaming online. They're pretty fucking stupid, but.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I can totally recommend the first one it is one of those trashy movies whether it's cannon films the apple or.

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Something pretty beloved like rocket horror or just again, you know any other.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_03]: If you've seen paranormal activity as someone's other found footage movies, Hellhouse LLC is a good one.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_03]: You're gonna watch this one it's not going to change them all, but you're going to kind of appreciate it from an indie aspect and then.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately, it doesn't quite have that trolley band full moon entertainment vibe where it's stupid, but it's made with joy.

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_03]: And at least somewhat you know, could have been seen as being released in theaters because it made use of every method and repeat.

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_03]: But this one is just more of a just if you just want to see a dude just lose his shit and get too cute for his own good after a while.

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Overall, it is just outrageous and I can definitely say the reception on the first one is well.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And at the rest of them, they're just more of a Mr. size that you're level thing definitely don't want to show him if you value your time.

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_03]: But do watch him if you have fans friends who just like seeing weird as fucking movies just night at night at two in the morning and just wanted joke around about how.

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Stupid premise that this guy is how much he just loves himself.

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, you've been warned but at the same time, at least check out the first one.
