Check out Halshack here:
[00:00:01] Greetings all, greetings all. So, a last minute discussion, but hey, I'm going to promote one of the many distributors of this podcast, Halshack. Once again, they're part of Zeno FM. Their shows that are on the internet radio station include Halshack Indie Rockcast, Halshack Country, and Club Shack.
[00:00:25] And again, just all Mondays for Sundays. Just their programs include just Shack Shop, Triple Play Thursday, Double Trouble on Tuesdays with Ready, Set, Rock at 7 p.m. Eastern Time. And then Wednesdays, it's another jumbled but grouped together repeat followed by DJ Master Renegade.
[00:00:55] Thursdays are Triple Play and Fridays include Rock Out, various rock shows, Migs in the Shack. Saturdays being a random or all, including a ska, reggae, and theme shows, as well as 30 minutes to an hour of full band complications, as well as Sunday has Super Sunday theme shows and random auto DJ.
[00:01:22] So, again, you know, they've been here for a while and they're in 6,000 plus markets, 190 countries, 250 plus episodes with exclusive music major stars. But from what I've been able to listen into, I really do just like how there's some electronic in the mix, as well as just the DJs are just very involved. They do have the radio voice, given how they've been working in different kinds of radio.
[00:01:51] But they also got alternative rock and pop music, weekly shows, and they're part of Champions Radio UK shows. That's good to have in there. And 95.7 Web Radio is also part of the mix, as well as K-Twin 107.7 FM. There's Badass Radio, there's Live 365, there's WXTR FM and Cutting Edge.
[00:02:22] And they feature top indie talent, but there's all kinds of stuff. And I'm glad to be in the mix. Like, this was just a happy accident. Like, I just went through messages again, and it was so, so funny. I was like, oh, yeah, he did offer that. He's looking for programs to be on his radio show. And I was like, could I be part of the fun? So, yeah.
[00:02:45] All the other just hosts who are on Shack Shop, as well as even the fourth block, which includes Modern Rock. The fifth block includes Ready, Set, Rock. But, and, yeah, I just, I applaud how they're just always staying updated.
[00:03:08] But, yeah, I'm glad to be featured on Mondays at 8 p.m. Eastern as of March 30th of this year. This was just a happy, fun accident, but this was a fun change. So, yeah. It's overall just, I mean, even with Rock Hard with Evan J. Thomas, that's features all kinds of deep cuts for My Chemical Romance. Motionless and White. Jack White.
[00:03:38] Codefendants. Finger Eleven. Sleep Token. Periphery. Butcher Babies. Shine Down and Seven Dust. So, yeah, big deep cuts. But, yeah, rock and metal, rock hard with Evan and Thomas. Same deal. So, yeah, there is literally something for everybody. And just having Evan Crude's little backstory on him. He's from New Jersey. He began his musical journey at age eight.
[00:04:07] He started playing gigs with his family. So, that's why he hosts House Shack. And, yeah, he had, you know, done some, played gigs with his family at venues like Six Flags Great Adventure and Stony Pony and Osbury Park. So, yeah. Then he got on Vine and still producing and recording as a solo artist.
[00:04:33] And he hopes to curate an eclectic vibe that will combine Harry Styles' classic sound, The Killer's alternative rock, and The Weeknd's special R&B energy to create something completely new. So, you can find him on Bandcamp. And he leaks that on there. But, yeah. But he likes to refer to himself as pop punk. So, I think that's pretty innovative. I think that's why this is the right kind of just combined material.
[00:05:01] But some backstory on just the crew who's part of Xeno Radio. It's Bill Zimmerman, Sean Mickelson, and Sammy Mickelson, who are part of the Atlanta-based Electro Pop Trio Reptile Room, which they formed in 2017. So, again, I'm working with some really unique people here. And, yeah.
[00:05:28] It's just so cool how this brother and sister and their friend formed this trio. And, again, you know, we're an odd duck to even be in this mixed, but honored all the same. And, yeah. If you want to help them with production costs, head to HalShack.com. H-A-L-S-H-A-C-K.com. And give them any shout-outs.
[00:05:57] They can be emailed at jesterman9000 at gmail.com. So, J-E-S-T-E-R-M-A-N 9000 at gmail.com. And, yeah. It's pretty simple. Like any network. Just promote them once in a while. They have new theme shows. They have Lost Ways 2, which is going to be on their podcast theme of their radio show. They have DJ Master Renegade, who will have trance music sessions.
[00:06:27] And they have the other Shackless Retool page. They have Rap Shack that's been torn down. And Club Shack is now open. So, yeah. They're not afraid. But, yeah. They can be found also on the Keep One radio app or the Zeno FM radio app. Find it there. No problem. And, again. It is wild how podcasts can offer music apps.
[00:06:57] Especially if you want to just download it for on the go instead of just. Use up your data or what have you. So, this is a good option. But, yeah. I applaud just the diverse energy here. And the attention to detail. And this is all coming from some severe passion and love for this kind of thing. So, it's like that's what we need.
[00:07:23] We totally need people who are into this instead of, you know, AI taking over, guys. So, before radio stations all around the world get compromised, be sure to listen to all kinds of material here on this unique channel. How Shack. They are keepers. How Shack. And, again.
